My experience:
You put me on a quartz counter with the faucet hole incorrectly positioned, Off-center from the intended location, a measurement error made by your staff. Now you don't want to change that party anymore. In your opinion this is acceptable and within your standards. Where does this interpretation come from? You are really in bad faith, not respectful of your client, unprofessional and so on. We are in a dead end. Take action, correct your mistakes and above all give satisfaction. This is a responsible business.

I had the privilege of having my quartz countertops installed by an incredible team who worked from my home as if it was their own home. A very special thank you to Hugo.

Very disappointed. They left a big space between the wall and the backsplash and said they couldn't do anything to fix it. We spent quite a bit of money to have them install all our kitchen countertops along with backsplash. Not professional at all. We could have done a better job ourselves.

We received excellent service from A to Z. Their team was able to advise us according to our needs, samples of finishes were lent to us for validation at home. The production was fast and the final product is impeccable. I recommend the place without any hesitation.

Such a professional team. As a kitchen designer, working with this company every day is a real pleasure!

UPDATED: Workers came to 'fix' the cut by putting an uneven layer of silicone. And the chunk they took out of wall? Still not patched up. This place is ridiculous.

Chipped corners. Cuts that aren't flush. Their excuse: "that's how it's always done." Innacurate measurements. Poor quality work. Would not recommend ever, to anybody.

Impeccable service. Purchase, measurement and installation. I highly recommend.

Temporary note, waiting for the end of the contract for permanent evaluation

Temporary note: Everything is going exactly as I read before buying my counter from Home Depot. Excellent note for the person of HD, for the one who took the measure and for the installers, no complaints, on the contrary. The majority of the bad reviews seemed to come from the Granit Design reps that we need to communicate with and I have to admit that it goes exactly the way people were saying. The customer service of the people with whom I had to communicate to try to correct the situation (Counter delivered with defects of finish, there are marks of polishing everywhere which would have been done at the factory) is not not at all up to it, they show no empathy or sympathy. Now that they have the contract with Rona in addition to Home Depot, I strongly suggest improving this side of the business and not just expanding and adding installers. My rating will probably be revised when the problem is corrected but we are talking about August when the counter was installed in May (only one employee able to fix the problem for the whole company).

Not exactly a straight forward experience. Lots of confusion and phone tag.

Granite Design did a superb job with my custom countertops! It was a challenging job, but the entire team figured it out and finished off my kitchen renovation perfectly! Huge shout out to Tara Hamilton who organized and executed a miracle Customer service and professionalism was top notch.

I went through Home Depot for my granite counter tops. My experience was TERRIBLE. I had to fully pay up front for my counter tops and then was told I had to deal directly with Home Depot's granite supplier, Granit Design. Once I paid fully for my counter tops, I was told that the project would be completed in 10-14 days.

I was also told that Granit Design would contact me in 2 days to set up a template. 8 days went by without any communication from Granit Design or Home Depot. I then had to reach out to the person who sold me the counter tops to get the phone number for Granit Design. I called and got the template schedule MYSELF. Once they came to do the template an install date was set for 10/3/17.(ONCE MONTH AFTER I PAID FOR THE COUNTERS) I was then notified by Granit Design that my project was being pushed out with no explanation of why.

I asked to be contacted by the Granit Design Supervisor which took days and he said that I did not approve the template in time. I DID NOT receive a template layout until after my date was pushed out. (Email proof was sent to Home Depot) Remember that all of this back and forth was being done by ME, THE CUSTOMER because Home Depot said they do not handle that.

I called and talked with the store supervisor at Home Depot and she even had a very hard time getting Granit Design on the phone to understand why my project was now in the 5th week without being installed or completed.

I received my counter tops 35 days after I PAID for them in full. Again, I was told my project would take a total of 10-14 days to complete.

Granit Designs customer service was horrible. I asked 2 different girls that worked there to transfer me to their supervisor and they did not do it. I will NEVER recommend using Granit Design for any project whether you are going directly through them or through a third party like Home Depot. You would like that if Home Depot is sending them business they would answer a phone or reply to your email but they won't. Horrible service.

It took months for Granit Design to finally fit my countertops. About a month after the installation, my calls complaining about the poor job have only yielded frustration. I complained that one of the finished sections was poorly executed - leaving the dishwasher top partially exposed. Granit Design won't talk to me because the job was contracted through their partner (RONA). The sales agent from RONA then sends me a cold mail telling me why the fitting was done crooked - as explained by Granit installation representative. I should just deal with it? I'm still weighing my options.

I feel I must write a positive review for this company to counter some of the negative ones written previously.

Granit Designs installed new countertops for my entire dental office: 7 countertops and 25 separately cut pieces of stone, including a reception desk with two levels and seven irregularly shaped slabs.

These folks were professionals from measurement to installation. The primary installer was nothing less than an artist with boundless energy to get the job done right. Although one of the 25 pieces was not cut correctly, they re-cut it and installed it promptly just a few weeks later.

Thank you to Granit Designs for transforming my dental office. Our patients love the beauty and craftsmanship of your good work!

Ordered through Home Depot and after 2 months, still no installation. They do not follow through with the time they say. Very hard to reach their offices as no one picks up; no information given.

Really disappointed with the service received from this company. They can t seem to keep employees, which has resulted in numerous account reps and miscommunication due to the constant change in employment.

If you re a business thinking about them as a supplier, I would look elsewhere.

We ordered granite countertops through Home Depot in Rutland Vermont.
When we called to have the countertop template made, they were quite backed up, but as we were up against a time crunch they were able yo accommodate us.
When it was time for delivery, they had a cancellation and actually arrived a day early! Two young men came and professionally installed our beautiful new counter tops in less than two hours. They were pleasant and efficient and did a wonderful job. We are thrilled with the entire experience, the outcome, and the price!

Stuck with them through ProFab, have been waiting to get our bar done since September (ProFab screwed up measurements and forgot to account for our stove, so it needed adjustments before it could get installed), tried to get a hold of them directly but they never answer, left voicemails but never get called back, Christmas is around the corner and my stove can't be placed where it should and I have a huge granite bar top and side lying around in my kitchen!

It's absolutely preposterous, horrible customer service so far, I'm extremely displeased.

WoW, WoW and WoW ... my experience with Granit Design was exceptional. Whether with the salesman Vincent Foucher, passing by the technician for taking measurements Hugues Fortier, and ending with the installers Hugo, Charles and Caius who were incredibly professional. All these people worked for my project like it was theirs .... thank you thank you and thank you again

The installer Andrew Belanger and his partner were very professional. I m more than satisfied with their work. The only downside there was Granite Design was suppose put a wooden insert on the underside of the elevated section so the support legs could be screwed to it. This was not done but the installer glued that section to the support legs. Need to follow up if we paid extra for that insert. All in all very pleased with the look of our new counters

Update: I've received a credit for the wooden insert that wasn't install at their facility through Home Depot where we purchased the counter, this was the only issue with the counter purchase. Would buy from them again counter top are beautiful and fit perfectly.

I am very proud to be employed by Granit Design since 2011 working in the Nova Scotia office. We pride ourselves in offering great customer service. My husband and I also had our kitchen redone in the summer of 2016 and it turned out amazing !

Very professional and courteous. The installers were impeccable. Breathtaking result.

I have never come across a more unprofessional group. These people do the stone work for #Homedepot where we purchased about $4000 of quartz. They have been nothing but slackers from the beginning. This is September and the process started in May. Around every corner was another excuse or upcharge. Their salesman would say one thing to us and then someone would call with another story. We wanted to install a pop up plug in our island: the sailsman said they would do it on site no worry about measuring for it. Then once it was paid for we called to verify and they said that will be an extra $275. This was one of two upcharges. Save yourself the hassle deal with someone else.

A lot of customers complaint about the lack communication between them, store and manufacturer, but as a reasonable customer you have to be part of the solution.

After calling multiple times and no returns, I was forced to call Home Depot and see what they could do for me.

Turns out they have a team dedicated to dealing with disputes and contacting this company. That should tell you all you need to know.

They are dealing with them on behalf of me now. Ridiculous it has come to this.

All I wanted to know is when my counters were getting installed, since they didn t make their original promised date of installation.

Fantastic work and product! Just had our granite installed yesterday and we are in love! Everything from the template ( he was so nice and professional) to the install (great guys and worked very efficiently). They even called the day before expected delivery to see if we wanted them to come a day early!

I could not be happier with every facet of this project and company. The communication was excellent, their employees flexible, helpful and professional, and my countertops are gorgeous. They texted, emailed and called multiple times to make sure I understood the process and timeline.

I have had terrible luck with contractors in the past, but this company is doing everything right. I do not hesitate to recommend them, and I tend to be hard to please when it comes to home projects.

I had great service at home depot been back and forth and they gave me samples to take home Jillian & Jocelyn were fantastic. Then i dealt with Sylvie & Cailin they were both fantastic I had a hard time choosing, because every slab is different Cailin then decided to take me on a virtual tour. That made all the difference I could actually see the slabs and what they looked liked. The outcome is absolutely beautiful. I just love my granit i would highly recommend them to anyone.

Go elsewhere. Unfortunately a reputable company like The Home Depot uses them as a distributor giving you a false sense of security and then HD ends up having to cover the costs of GD s botched up job. Hopefully they willl discontinue their contract with this company. Don t bother responding Granit Design your apparent customer service rep has already done enough damage.

We just had new beautiful quartz countertops installed by and from Granit Design. This company was very professional and efficient through the process and we recommend them to anyone looking for quality in this area.

Couldn t be happier

Poorly cut sink opening meant that we have to get another slab done while not having a kitchen for two weeks. I also get to install and uninstall my plumbing twice is also not welcome. On top of all of this, poor and rude customer service has been the norm. Do yourself a favor and pick another company. These people have no interest in taking care of you.

Love my new quartz countertops! Just had them installed. The service was top notch. From the dealership I perchased them from Kents Bathurst NB. To Granit Design comming to measure , to the installation. Great service ! And my countertops are beautiful and installed perfectly. If we ever redo another kitchen I will definately get Granit Designs. Thanks for the great service.

Just to say that we are very satisfied with the beautiful granite countertops installed by your team. Despite the late hour, they were in a good mood and courteous - real professionals.

Not impressed with customer service so far. No calls are ever returned. Project hasn t even started yet. Stay tuned...
UPDATE: Counters turned out beautifully, and the staff there were nice and responsive. In my case, i would say Home Depot (went through them) is at fault here. Contact Granit Design DIRECTLY if you want them to undertake your project.

Avoid at all costs first delay was 8-10 weeks fine we will wait for the stone... 8 weeks later it is delayed another 8 weeks you would think a company doing installs for home depot would have there stuff togeather.. terrible customer service they don't answer the phone and have no intrest in making the customers happy DONT DO It

Installation of the sink all wrong, I called customer service and the lady on the phone had worse customer service than the installation of the sink in addition to having waited 6 weeks for the counter, in addition for charging me $ 120 more for extra labor not necessary, I would never recommend this company that does business with Ikea, the counter is beautiful but not more beautiful than any other Quartz counter installed by d other companies, bad service

Run away from this business as fast as you can!

It's about dealing with incompetent people, who don't know what they're doing, and don't know the products they are working with. Despite contact, apparently professional at the start, your site will become a real nightmare! At the price you pay for your counter, you have the right to have the counter you originally chose delivered and installed, without scratches, and without other defects. Both customer service and installation service need to be straightened out. And the management of the company should follow its employees much more closely. We will try to deliver merchandise damaged by their lack of know-how, by making you believe that it is normal and usual.

We bought our counter from Home Depot, which had given the installation contract to that company, and we did not receive any support from them in this dispute.

Personally, I had to cancel my contract with them, and turn to another company to save my site. Thanks to their competitor for coming to my rescue! I have seen how important it is to do business with competent and professional people.

Had my granite countertops installed on Monday with double sink. They look great the problem is they left me only one drain for the sink. I called whoever did the job and was told that sink only comes with one drain....?????? So I called the company have spoken to multiple people witch none have been productive experiences. Apparently I m the only one who thinks a good solution would be to mail me another drain. Pretty easy right?? No. It is now Thursday I m still waiting on a call back on what we can do about the situation. I still have no sink. Go somewhere else if I could rate them no stars I would have.

I find it a shame that people who take the time to write comments about suppliers are more often the ones who have not had good service.

For my part I could not ask for a better service. The installers were courteous and did a job without reproach, and this in less than 2 hours.

If our adventure with Granit Design started very badly, everything ends on a good note. Communication was just poor. We felt more like communicating with office people with little training in customer service than anything else. Far be it from me to pretend that they are not competent in their respective functions, but working with the public is not for everyone. Luckily a certain Anthony Gonzalez took over our file and we were able (finally!) To have clear answers to our questions.

Positive points: Spectacular end result (the joints are not very visible). Professional and courteous measurement and installation technician.

Areas for improvement: Communication with customers. The layout (pdf file used to view the result virtually) should be much higher resolution.

A professional team that takes care of the smallest details. They managed to find a granite identical to a previous project from 18 years ago, and the finish: wow! Thank you Granit Design
