Grand Hyatt Melbourne Review

A hotel that actually have 100% blockout blinds allowed a proper sleep in, only hotel I have stayed to have that feature.

My daughter and I stayed at Grand Hyatt Melbourne in April 2017 and still remember how the staff and management, made us feel so special. Excellent service, amazing food and great staff , this one was one of the most wonderful experience we ever had. Thank you Grand Hyatt, would love to come back In future

The restaurant is fine but the price is little bit high

Great hotel Spectacular views from the rooms. I recommend asking for a high room from the 20th floor up.
At the reception they do not speak Spanish.

Best value for money hotel to stay at in Melbourne. Spectacular views and facilities, bubble bath, gym, spa, sauna, rooftop tennis and best breakfast I ever had. Met many tennis players from Australian Open here too.

The Grand Hyatt Melbourne has some of the finest staff with outstanding 5 Star service...... Satinder ( the Team Leader) stands out with his wonderful work ethics, great smile, staff support & attention to detail......... He makes our regular stays in Melbourne enjoyable & we always look forward to chilling in Collins Kitchen with anything from a coffee Buffet Lunch nibblies..........
The vibes in this place are relaxed & comfortable. Reluctantly Recommend this place only because I m afraid once you visit you won t want to leave ( then we will find it hard to make a reservation )!!!

A marvellous venue. There for a luncheon presentation. Dairy intolerant so expected fruit for desert, and got a wonderful desset!

Warm efficient service from the moment we stepped foot in the hotel. Room was very comfortable and clean, close to all the key attractions and great restaurants. Couldn't ask for more really

The location is really good
The parking fee is very expensive. If you enter the parking lot after 4:00 pm, it is cheap. Lounge liquor is recommended. It is upgraded to Hyatt Diablo Suites.

We stay here at least once a year as a family so it's a real bonus that they have adjoining rooms. Surprisingly not to many hotels do these days. As always the service from the minute we pulled up to the minute we got back in the car was second to none. We also enjoyed a fantastic breakfast, actually it's one of the real bonuses of staying here. Hope we can be back soon.

Great Rooms, friendly staff and overall great hotel.

Rue co bar, pretty typical hotel bar. The selection of drinks is average and service very slow and a bit inattentive even when standing at the bar. Probably wouldn't choose to come here when Melbourne does small bars and bar service so well.

Regular Hotel which I stay at for business when in Melbourne. Great location very convenient and helpful and friendly staff. Views from the rooms are quite good as well of Melbourne. They also have a good breakfast buffet.

Classy Inner City Hotel with a grand Ballroom, restaurant and famous cigar shop at the Russell St entrance. I have attended many functions here over the years as a photographer and the ballroom staff are always professional and helpful. The food served is high class and the venue has been updated in recent years going somewhat modern but losing a little of it's earlier charm and when it was once the best ballroom in town it now has many others vying with it for that title.

The Grand Hyatt Melbourne is Luxurious hotel with a great dinning experience, breakfasts are amazing, the bar is great and dinners were also good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is well situated in Melbourne with easy access to all areas of the city. Close to a Tram station if you would like to use public transportation.

I have stayed at his hotel many times in the past year. The last one took the gong. After receiving a gift for my number of stays I was charged on check out for it. After numerous excuses from the front desk supervisor including this can happen when guests check in early (I checked in after 6 pm) ... I missed a call back from the hotel and rang back 4 times but they have never returned my calls. I have constantly found this hotel lacks the service of a 5 star establishment. Being a regular Hyatt guest I think the rooms are good and some of the staff are excellent but they are let down so often by team members that just don't bother.
