I appreciate the facilities and features of the charming and beautiful Grand Hyatt.
I appreciate the facilities and features of the charming and beautiful Grand Hyatt.
Perfectly positioned in the mibble of the CBD on Collins St, just a stroll to anywhere. Probably the best breakfast buffet in town.
Central location. Nice rooms with usual facilities (hairdryer etc). Good for professional events but could do with a re-vamp.
Amazing hotel with some spectacular views of the city.... but still a hotel!
Prime location, pretty much close to everything and also great view of the Yarra river. However the breakfast is somewhat boring after 2 days.
This is the most palatial hotel I have stayed in. The staff are very professional and incredibly friendly. The General Manager does run a fabulous ship so to speak.
I can't share enough postive words about the amazing team that work here. We stayed for 3 nights after our 2nd daughter was born and we were treated like royalty. Everyone was genuinely happy and helpful. The food was amazing. Our room was comfortable. Most notable, the team's overwhelmingly supportive reaction to our bad experience with a rude uber driver; when bringing our 1st daughter (who has special needs) in to visit on day 2 they made us feel well-cared for and continually checked in to see if we were all ok. Top recommendations. Thank you!
Excellent location
Modern interiors
Good service
The most delicious salad on the lunch menu (first floor dining- now I know there s something this delicious in the city I ll always opt for it!!
Nuts, broccoli, feta, grains, pomegranate YUM!
**The only sad thing- they won t make it take away so you have to dine in**
Staff were very professional with what they were doing. They took pride with what they did on the night of the function. Ordering drinks did take quite a while to come, but overall did very well. The atmosphere and decor was fantastic.
Exposed piping - will hear the person upstairs flushing their toilet
I attended a high tea at the Grand Hyatt, I can easily say it was the best one I've been to in Melbourne!
Amazing venue for workshop. Only criticism was it was a little chilli
Good location.Great place. It has got a pub at the basement whose entry is just outside the main entry of the hotel. Its called Spice Market.Great pub with middle eastern theme.
Nothing bad to say about it, location room and service where all rally nice!
Great facilities, helpful staff, bathroom was not properly cleaned, but otherwise a good room.
Atmosphere is really nice but the taste of food has room for improvement
La Casa del Habano. Great Cuban cigar shop. Good choices and prices. Buy from here, smoke at Siglo.
The room wasn't clean. Old tv, bathroom was not good, it was very weathered and quite dirty. The lifts took ages... The rooms are certainly not on par with any of the other hotels at 5*. I would not return
I cancelled my membership at the end of year and have records of this but have been charged for the last 6 months, thanks city club team great work
Stayed here when I saw Taylor Swift in December 2015. Absolutely beautiful facilities
Beautiful hotel right in the CBD. Close to many fabulous restaurants and tourist attractions.
Centrally located in Melbourne, close to boutiques on Collin Street. Free tram service is available with CBD. The service is ok, but sub-par when compared with Park Hyatt
A really great place to stay, Sean behind the front desk is super helpful, my only concern is the pressure on the hot water taps has decreased, it is very difficult to fill a bath or spa with such limited hot water available. All else outweighs this. Frequent stayer.
Great stay, didn't pay so not sure on price but lovely..
Dear Sir/Madam,
You got the weakest passionless and dumbest bar in town in Branded 5 STAR HOTEL in Glorious world Fabulous Grand HYATT Melbourne city.- ATTITUDE and EGO BAR>
Nothing PASSIONABLE with Humanity has been done and the staff members recruited in your bar and innovative dining bar outside.
I had enough rudness and amatuer service in your bar served.
Worst treatment excluding the CLICHED downunder materialistic crowd visiting your diner and then tourist..
Well the MANAGER In the bar and the staff recruited must be revisted.
OVERALL your foundation and the concept of the bar is badly done.. Worse than for reference E-55 bar , COSMOPOLITAN hotel, Young and Jackson and
WILL NOT VIST AGAIN..
Thank you...
Great views, and an excellent location. A little soulless by itself, but pop out and you'll find plenty of quirky interesting bits of Melbourne.
What can I say, we celebrated our wedding here with 160 of our nearest and dearest and what a night. The attention to detail, the staff and the food, OMG, the food was on point, perfectly executed and delicious.
Since then we've been back for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Other People's weddings, or just a quick bite on our way home from work. Every time we're made to feel welcome and the food is consistently superb. We enjoy the window tables the most, quiet, private with a great view of the goings on below.
What a beautiful hotel! Top notch. 5 stats for sure.
Nice services...But food were average for what you paid for.
If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit HotelBuIIy. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!
My favourite hotel. Lots of sentimental reasons for this, but in addition to this, the hotel has great amenities, very friendly staff and is in the best location. I would recommend this hotel to anyway wanting to stay in a great location, in luxury, in Melbourne. Thank you Hyatt.
We got a free bottle of champagne cos it was our anniversary.
Everything you could hope for from a high-end dining experience.
We got married at the Grand Hyatt a year ago (August 2018) which went seamlessly. We have come back to celebrate our 1 year anniversary, once again they have not let us down. The service here is second to none, I would like to especially thank you David (front desk) for making our stay such an amazing experience, David had taken the time to touch base regularly to ensure our stay is nothing less than perfect and a special thanks to Peta Kerr for providing special options for our anniversary.
went for a wedding. Staff were really accommodating of my sister's baby and the food was great.
Only went to Church there as the Athenaeum Theatre was used for something else. The toilets were nice. Not a drop of water on the washbasins lady wiped them down.
Nice, but they remind you at 10 that your checkout is at 11. Freaked me out.
Great hotel. Close to the CBD. A few maintenance issues in room. Tv was not working properly. Distorted screen.
Great location especially if planning to watch musical at the Regent Theatre. Looks grand. Never stayed a night, so can't comment on room.
Food was great but not all came out at once for a table of 5. One of the vegan orders was received incorrectly and had to be remade.
I have had high tea at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne on several occasions & have always had a wonderful experience - I have even recommended it to others! Most recently, a friend was visiting from Singapore. She was staying there & we meet for drinks at the bar. Always lovely service.
Great location, cozy and comfortable, excellent service, great views to Melbourne eastern precincts
Beautiful service! They took good care of us for our wedding night
Gorgeous decor, brilliant service and delicious food!
Great hotel for functions such as technology seminars and conferences. Nice big rooms, great audio visual displays and good food/drink
Fantastic venue! Great for large scale work events.
Great canapes, nice indoor/outdoor space for a small work function
Would have given 5 stars if they had a smoking area.
