Absolutely to try.

Absolutely to try.
The first courses are delicious, the second courses are spectacular.
We took the duck, the pigeon and the guinea fowl .. A lust for the palate.

Staff very kind and professional.
You enter the club and you feel like you are catapulted into another era.
If you want to pamper yourself and feel pampered you MUST go there.

The prices justify the quality and service.

Let's start that my experience dates back to 4 years ago to be precise. The best thing on the menu was the broth with meat tortellini ... Fortunately, we got drunk on white wines and we forgot the chef's treatment which was miraculously saved by the meter of the room which turns out to be a card winning in this case. At the end of the meal we were told that we could smoke on the table so that the owner himself smokes in the dining room. I'm not going back for sure not for the price but for the surface treatment it has for new customers. Books on books to give a nice impression tome all with the same title no glass of wine offered as an aperitif that was said to be a ritual enough to pour a drop on the carpet.

The negative review arises from the moment in which, neither before nor after the bill, we were asked how it was lunch or service.
Very elegant and welcoming place, staff who initially presents themselves in an optimal way.
The five courses of the Christmas menu start in an excellent way, but when we get to the third dish we need a risotto as if it were served in a festival and not as expected from a starred restaurant, a dirty and smudged dish of rice and cheese.
The owner or the star chef was truly intrusive, rude, cursing several times in the room, shouting at a distance to us customers and his employees.
We came out very disappointed and with the thought of having spent too much for a lunch that did not deserve it.

We had our anniversary dinner here! Was absolutely wonderful!! Beautiful ambiance, very personal, nice conversation with the chef, they brought a special dessert for our anniversary, everything was served with silver, even our ice, large beautiful tables and the food was in-cred-i-ble!!! Highly recommend!!!

The restaurant is a cozy fairy tale, fresh flowers, candles, piles of books, wines, carpets and opulence never pacchiana. The two owners will serve you in their way. Or so or nothing. The two waiters Massimiliano and Luana are very good. Here everything is magic. Prices ? Well, such an exceptional place could not have conventional costs. Famous actors, politicians, entertainment stars businessmen, and why not, we all once at least should abandon ourselves to a transgression. The atmosphere appears theatrically inviting and immediately the strength of tradition and elegance of an excellent restaurant since the beginning is evident. But immediately the dream shatters. Anxiety and haste of the waiters takes over on the false picture of the place facade. The holder gives off very negative energy in which applies the law of master and slave. The Michelin star is not even remotely acceptable, the food is mediocre and not at all elegant. Obviously the owner must have very high knowledge, otherwise it cannot be explained. Unfortunately you can not imagine being able to eat badly in a restaurant in the Mantua ... but apparently you can. We will never return ... with these prices then .... A place to VIPs in a bad level.
It just makes you angry.

The Embassy does not disappoint with a menu consisting of excellent raw materials paired with excellent wines selected by local sommeliers.
The environment is suggestive, the excellent cuisine, the unforgettable Tamani hospitality.

A sumptuous and fascinating place that no description could contain. Mirrors, books, carpets, vases of spectacular flowers, chandeliers follow one another in a swirl of recalls and suggestions. Chef Romano is the usual champion who, if you're on a diet, I advise against it, but if you want to enjoy an exciting meal, it's right for you. Traditional cuisine alternated with fancy dishes, which certainly does not lack. The last time he served us green tortellini stuffed with pigeon with grilled shrimps. So good as they sound strange. Carlo in the hall is the usual brilliant companion. They are recovering from a difficult period, but it did not affect the quality of the services, if not in the breadth of the cellar offer, which suffered from it while remaining on good levels. As if this place needed my review ...
It's a museum, it's a great restaurant, it's part of the story. Do not forget your wallet at home (with a lot of savings inside!)
That fantasy of fruit and vegetables with grilled prawns was nothing short of divine.
And like a good, respectable Michelin, in the ass of the wolves!

I am perhaps more sorry to myself than to the good Romano Tamani, but I can guarantee you that in about ten years this place has become so flattened as not to justify not the 2 stars, which obviously have downgraded to one, but even the single star seems very overstated. In these latitudes it is really difficult to eat badly, but here there have made it. exaggerated prices, those are, were worthy of a two-star.
Sometimes in life you should step aside, but this chef doesn't seem to want to do it. Here, one can even remember, so as not to miss anything, I had dinner with classical music in the background, closing his eyes and I was afraid to be a guest of the Titanic.
