Grand Hyatt Melbourne Review

Had Brunch, we chose the buffet. Food was amazing, a great selection. Highly recommended.

Stayed here after giving birth and I loved it ! Food is extremely expensive especially when you have children but yummy

Great hotel in Melbourne. Staff and service are the best in the world! Food is magnificent. The best location! The Grand Club staff here is the best! Always make you feel at home. Ive always enjoyed my stay here and keep coming back. If its possible to take a hotel with you in your travels this will be the hotel for me. Thank you Grand Hyatt Melbourne for always making my stay very enjoyable.

Beautiful hotel. Definitely worth spending extra to have club room. The food put on at night including alcohol meant basically dinner was included. A perfect stay

It s an old hotel, toilet- shower handle consistently falls off its holder. Aircon doesn t work well, when we have it checked filter was really dirty. House keeping service is bad, their not changing their sheet unless you ask them to or at least make the bed well all the dust and hair is still on the bed after they make the room. It s not a Luxury nor a 5 start hotel. We tried eating at the lobby and it took 40 mins to serve when we confronted the manager he was unapologetic and proud. I don t recommend this hotel specially if you have children it s not a family hotel, for a tourist like me. I ve been to a lot of hotels and I ve expected more from this hotel bcos of its name but it s really a unpleasant hotel.

Great hotel. Top notch, but unfortunately the walls are very thin and the noise travels from other customers or the staff. It's in a great location and has great views. The gym that you can uses is an actual gym and a good gym at that.

Huge room and bathroom. Both shower and bath tub. Really nice ambience in public areas. Convenient location in city and close to premium shopping

I had a very pleasant stay as part of a club member. The rooms are clean and very well maintained.
Customer service is very good. Polite and very accommodating.
The club lounge has a very good variety of complimentary alcohol and canapes. All day tea and coffee service.
It is in the most central location close to everything in the CBD and has very good restaurants and bars in the hotel.
The best fitness centre with everything you could ask for.
I very much enjoyed my stay.

Excellent hotel, great breakfast and large suites overlooking Melbourne CBD

A superb hotel, everything you expect from this hotel chain. All the staff i met were very friendly and helpful.

This is a classy place. I usually come here to attend meetings, so I cannot comment on the accommodation & facilities. As a meeting venue, it is ideally placed between Parliament & Flinders Street stations with only a short walk from either (downhill towards Flinders Street Station), so access by train is great. Parking anywhere in the City is expensive & hard to get. It has very good function rooms which are customisable for size. The quality of food provided is also very good.

An excellent hotel with friendly, helpful staff, who were happy to accommodate an error in our booking with the travel agency. The icing on the cake was that our room had a beautiful view over Melbourne

Attended a work Christmas party at the Grand Hyatt. The venue was very well presented and the night went smoothly.

Friendly staff, very clean and conveniently located, albeit a bit on the expensive side.

Great service and location. Elevators are beyond a disaster though. Literally management doesn t care that the room key cards don t work in half the elevators. People get off frustrated in random floors several times a day. It s laughable.

Our school had our year 12 formal there and itwas a very pleasant experience. The hall was very big and spacious, staff were very nice and food was delicious

Located at Prime location in Melbourne CBD. Well connected with public transports too!
Good Rooms with Luxury Restaurants

Its a nice hotel but if you are going there for leisure then you need to be staying at least above 18th floor.

If you are visiting Melbourne, you can say it's the best location. Swanstone, Collins and Bourke are all within easy reach, and the Melbourne CBD, which is also within easy walking distance of the train station Flinders Station, is not wide enough to be seen from anywhere. There may be some inconvenience because it is a little on the side, but it has such a good prospect. Facilities and services can also be called Best.

They just do things right at the Hyatt. Staff are attentive but not in your face, service impecable. Stayed on executive floor and used lounge for breakfast and drinks/ nibbles in evening. Both presented with good food and variety. Staff even sent bottle of wine for anniversary up to room. Well done Hyatt

The breakfast buffet is very good with selections from Continential to Asian food choices.

The Hotel offers once a week Hi-tea at two different timing 1pm-3pm and 3:30pm-5:30pm. The food is satisfactory. However I am not too happy with the Hi -Tea service.

Great location, lovely staff, rooms nice and clean. Beds are SOOOOO comfortable. One of the best sleeps I've had in a while. Breakfast is a must. One of the best breakfast buffets in Melbourne. Have been there multiple times and will go again.

Everything was great except check-in was exceptionally slow.

Beautiful hotel, everything about it is fabulous. We went to the bar to watch the Men's Final but got really questionable service. Our server was unpleasant almost to the point of giving us attitude, if that makes sense. The television in the bar was not set to fill the screen so we asked if it could be fixed. The busboy we asked got someone to fix it but it was still set wrong (the score was off the screen). We then asked our server who informed us that it would take a service company to come in and fix it so it was not an option! When we insisted the more senior guy came in and fixed it. I have to admit, everything other than our server in the bar was awesome. The name on the ticket was JohnD, but I'm not sure if that's who he was. But the bald server in the bar area did not get a tip and if I were the boss he'd be out of there.

I only went to the grand Hyatt for the parking but it was good. Would use the parking again

Visited a friend for a few hours.. Seemed nice enough

Booked a king room with a river view on New Year s Eve months in advance on Grand Hyatt s website. Checked in online early in the day. When I arrived at the hotel, I was instead given a room with no view at all. The staff apologised and allocated us to a corner deluxe room with very limited view of the Yarra river. To make it worse, the room had a faulty tv and telephone. New Year s Eve was completely ruined. Would not recommend the Hotel to anyone. Paid for a room that totally did not match the description. I was hoping to catch the fireworks display but had to settle for a room with limited view.

The Amazing staff here looked after us to make our weekend special, which made a world of difference. Definitely would recommend

I'm too poor to actually afford a room but I just sort of walked in and went up stairs. I got lost. The security eventually found me and they were nice enough to escort me off the premises. Twas definitely a lovely place to be at.

Conference here. Dairy free food options horrible. Great venue otherwise and clean and professional
