Great atmosphere. Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Food was served with enough time between course. Quality of food was high, tasted fantastic. Cocktails were nice too. Didn't feel rushed to leave table at the end. Great price for great food. Would highly recommend eating here.

This is an extremely nice hotel if you want a traditional Spanish hotel. As other people have mentioned the staff are extremely helpful and very courteous. I feel the food needs to step up a notch, particularly the breakfast and buffet. Not enough care is taken with keeping food fresh, for instance: food will only be replaced once it's finished which isn't great when you turn up to a bowl of scrambled eggs that are 30+mins old and have turned into a giant omelette. The restaurants are ok but for a hotel of this standard I expect much more. A higher standard of food can be found in a several restaurants within 30mins walk along the beach (turn right not left when leaving the hotel from the beach exit), some of which are only 100m away. There are 2 heated swimming pools, one is a kids pool and the other is the next smallest pool. This pool is heated like a bath and is abit cloudy. I cannot confirm if it is or not but amongst our group we agreed that it seemed dirty. All the other pools seem a lot cleaner but are not heated and took your breathe away on entry. Rooms very nice, beds very comfy but limited hot water during peak times which was very frustrating. All in all a very nice place to visit if your not much of a swimmer/like cold pools. I enjoyed our stay but felt short change of a 5 star holiday (5 star service = Yes. 5star holiday/venue = No) I won't be visiting again.

After a few visits , where we were sat so close to the music, we couldnt speak, we entered the beach restaurant and asked for a specific table which had no Reservation sign on it. The staff member came over and said NO in a brusque manner. It is reserved. (.no sign).
We asked to speak to the Supervisor, Lucas , who said you must move or Go. He was very rude in his manner. We asked to see his boss- he said I have no Boss, I am the Boss . We asked if he thought it was right to speak to guests like that, he said if you want to complain, Leave.
If you stay here, we will not serve you.
Lucas policy appears to be .. take any table we give you or Leave. You have no choice in this matter, even tho a guest.
The management culture at the restaurant is rude, has favourites in terms of treatment, and is not friendly to international clients.
As an international client, under present management style., not recommended.

I used to love this hotel, beautiful but change of management and treatment of customers on last visit means I will never visit again. Great hotel but service and treatment of Custumers not right. I hope that changes

Have stayed here before when the hotel seemed to be luxurious. However on this visit , we were shocked by the shabby walls and floors along the halls apart from the reception.
We requested a change of room due to dirty floor rug and filthy side tables and were moved to a suite adjacent to where workman were about to start work in another area. We then experienced loud drilling and dust flying everywhere for a week.
The manager was unhelpful .
The restaurants were variable, one restaurant served my husband with pre frozen Luke warm lasagne.
The bed was rock hard and twice we asked for a change of mattress.
We won t return here. The fact that the hotel is 25 years old indicates that it is in need of a huge overhaul.
There is a much nicer hotel not too far away which does deserve its 5* status.

Hotel build like a small town, lots of things to do with the water sport (outside of the hotel) or just relax by the pools.

Spectacular hotel located on the coast of Adeje, there are no words that can describe the wonderful experience of staying in this hotel, unbeatable facilities and dreamlike, it is a pity that we only stayed for a weekend, it is located on a hillside and wherever you go In any of its pools or restaurants you have to go up and down steps, slopes and trails, it is its only drawback. Not suitable for lazy people and people who do not like to walk since there are a few hectares to kick, weight is so beautiful all its gardens that it was a pleasure to walk there, pure nature.
I cannot finish this comment without highlighting the staff who work there, friendly, kind and always always with a spectacular smile, it is also worth mentioning their uniform which is the typical costume of Tenerife .... beautiful and curious. I wish my finances had allowed me to be there for a week !!!!!!
100% recommendable.

My stay at this impressive hotel is something I can never forget. One of the best in which I was. Everything you can enjoy in it, is perfect. Restaurants of different styles and food, relaxation areas, sports, several swimming pools all different, gardens where you can walk and enjoy nature, super recommended Spa with a staff of super quality .... and much more ... of course, with direct access to a beautiful beach where you can practice various water sports. I especially recommend Las Villas, a real luxury, large, well-kept spaces with a private pool.
I recommend 100%.
My stay was a birthday present from a good friend, since the price of 4 days in this paradise is prohibitive for most of us. If you are reading this review and you are not part of that majority ..... do not hesitate and book a Villa in Bahia del Duque, you will also enjoy all the charm of Tenerife. Ole the Canaries.

The hotel is luxurious. The area is excellent. The location is good. The beach is one of the best. winter January 19th. At night, the air temperature dropped to + 10.I would like the rooms to have under floor heating or air conditioning to work on heating.

Excellent service and very friendly staff, however I would not recommend it for people with reduced mobility. 'Relatively long' distances, although it is true that there is a shuttle service within the hotel.

A well appointed hotel with 10+ restaurants, many pools (both salt and fresh water), and great entertainment. The service is faultless. The only complaints we have are that 1. it may be too big, and 2. there are LOTS of steps - not very buggy-friendly.

Huge resort. Something for everyone: beach, pool, yoga classes, squash, fitness, great ambience, friendly staff
For business travelers as in our case: large conference room with countless group rooms. Recommended!

Extraordinary. Very polite and attentive staff, magnificent in the rooms and in the accommodation and detail in customer care. Very good kitchen, with high pastry. Expensive, but in keeping with the great quality offered. All kinds of good services, 4 swimming pools, good gardens, impeccable staff in your typical Canarian outfit ... Totally recommended.

Great place to stay, but where do the people disappear to? My wife and I had a lovely stay. The whole place is impressive. Lots of pools, bars, restaurants and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained.

The breakfast is great with a wide variety of foods available. We would happily stay there again. The one thing that amazed us is there were lots of people at breakfast and around the pools during the day however, after 17:00 they all disappear! We would have spent more time in and around the restaurants and bars in the complex but as there were more staff than guests in these places we tended to venture out of the complex to find some atmosphere....which is relatively easy to find on the beach front area. This is just a short walk from the complex.

Awful. Staying at Casa Ducales and pictures shown do not reflect what you get. Paid for sea view and terrace and got given a tiny room, minuscule balcony where you have to crane your neck to see past the trees to see the sea. Asked to change room to what I was promised and told that those rooms were all full. Feel very misled so be warned.

Really terrible, disappointing and extremely expensive two night stay at this past its prime but very snooty hotel. The good bit was the room. The room outlook was nice although tired with a very hard king bed consisting of two twins pushed together with an uncomfortable gap. The staff were totally unhelpful to us but significantly more professional with our British colleagues. We weren t sure whether they dislike Americans or simply cannot tolerate those guests who are not wearing suits on holiday. The food was without doubt the worst we have ever had anywhere in our world travels and was shamelessly overpriced. If you must visit Tenerife, try the Iberostar El Mirado next door!

All good mood! Were with family many times, a hotel with good landscaped areas, an excellent cascade of pools. We were in the most likely best room. 267 With a huge terrace, two gazebos and in the middle of a large jacuzzi twice before repairs and after repairs, we liked it more. Worth 2,000 per night. But what I want to say, scold a little. The breakfasts are excellent but there are always problems with the round table, I had to wait and insist on my own, so that they would not be seated at the wobbling table in the non-smoking area. From the second week we began to memorize our needs. The hotel fell a little level is not the prices and restaurants, not all but only a part. I ll call normal Sensu Japanese, Bernegal There's a cool steak guy fries, he speaks Russian. According to the Beach club I wanted to pay special attention, you have to fight for good tables as the Spaniards prefer to sell to their own (((as it is. I think they will never figure it out. Food for the Beach club is delicious classical Spain. At the reception ask the Russian speakers they will decide faster and better You question than the Spaniards. In general, the vacation went well and calmly! I recommend the hotel! Excellent relaxation and entertainment.

Hotel uncomfortable, winding, you need a map to get around despite being small.
Many people per square meter, sunbeds attached to each other.
None of its restaurants have air conditioning, only awning and fan; suffocating heat.
Positive: exceptional staff attention (except Sensu restaurant, Japanese, where it leaves much to be desired).
