I used their services couple times to every time was very satisfied. They provide high-quality service who comparably low price. Because they are popular sometimes you might have to wait up to a week to get your bike taken care of. I highly recommend!

I was looking for a essential part they had nothing.
The shifters and brake levers on my beloved mountain bike had reached the end of their useful lives. 21 gears became 7 became 3 . . . James did a fantastic job installing new shifters and brake levers and tuning whatever else needed it. He was able to keep the parts that still worked so the price was great. It's so smooth now, shifts silently and precisely; love it! I should have taken it in sooner, don't you wait.
Just got my bike flat fixed and was very impressed with the service. Very friendly, cost was same as I was told prior to his arrival. No surprises. I will use this business next time I need repairs on my bike. He arrived within an hour of my first text to him (James, I think is his name). Very impressed. When you ride your bike to work and find your tire flat, you need service like this.

James is fantastic. He stayed open for an extra half hour for me to walk to his new shop so that I could get my flat tire fixed. He called me five minutes later because I forgot the grip tape I purchased. I returned to grab the grip tape and got a nice cold bottle of water to go with it! Awesome service, awesome guy. I have purchased my bike through Got Bikes. I had the flexibility to choose from the online catalog. James helped me pick up the bike which best suits my height and weight. I was able to test ride a similar bike, just to get a feel. Though I did not return the bike, the service let me do that if I didn't like it. I will recommend anyone who is buying a bike to try out his service. James fixed flat tire for me several times. The service was prompt and quality was excellent. One time, he even did a pickup/drop-off. As a person, James is very friendly and at the same time very professional. He has excellent knowledge about the service he provides. I definitely will recommend him to anyone who is there to Get Bike.
This guy is SUPER Nice, did what I needed done ( for a good price!) and he saw that my seat was loose, fixed it right then, probably saved me a crash. Thank you for a good experience and answering all my many questions :) 12/10 would use his services again, this is my go to repair shop now. He knew I was new to biking and took the time to make me comfortable with the process of getting the back tire of my ebike fixed for the first time ( where the motor is). I've never had to take a bike to a repair shop before and he made it a good experience, talked me through the different options and got me back on the road safely. He even named my ebike for me :) : George Jetson ( i have a Jetson ebike ). Just by talking to him for a little bit you can tell he loves what he does, is kind, knows what he's doing, and cares about the safety of the riders he puts back on the road. Thanks again and I promise to always wear my helmet.

James is a brilliant bike mechanic, an expert cyclist and a veteran of the industry. You couldn't ask for better service or quality at such a fair price. He has made several of my bikes race/triathlon ready and has brought our old family beach cruisers back to life from the rust pile.
my bike needed A LOT of work. it's my only means of transportation and it had been at least a couple hundred miles since i'd last had it serviced. James was easy to talk to and very friendly. I'm hoping this place stays around for a while. it's about time South SJ got a decent bike shop. I definitely recommend this place.
Got Bikes is a great solution for people who have to travel to San Jose area on business. I have rented bikes multiple times. I took my Durban folding bikes to James at Got bikes? and it has become the go-to place for all my bike needs. After bringing your bike in, you will know how much he cares for his work and get a sense that he does solid, excellent work. When I get my bikes back, I feel like they're brand new again because I have the confidence that a person with a precise mind, eye, skill, knowledge, and passion for bikes took care of them and that the bikes are solid now. Got bikes? takes the headache away and just makes them safely ridable and returns them to excellent shape. I didn't even mention the squeal I had occasionally heard, but James diagnosed the mechanism and fixed it like a pro. He makes sure everything is working right. It could have been dangerous if it hadn't been fixed. The work I had done so far includes changing the tire that had a slit on it, converting to mountain bike (because it used to be a regular city folding bike), removing the fenders, replacing a missing reflector, placing a kickstand, replacing the hard original set with a nice soft cruiser seat, and aligning the bikes. Also, I really appreciate him being detailed as to not miss anything. It's my go-to place for bike repairs and future purchases because James knows all about bikes. For the excellent service and work, the price is right!
I can't say enough about the exceptional service and friendly owner. The price for repairs seemed very cheap to me, and the pickup and delivery was very reasonable, too. My bike was picked up and returned the following day with all new brakes and rusty parts replaced, for very little cost and I'm so happy I can ride again. Definitely will be using Got Bikes again!

I have had two bikes worked on by James. Both had been sitting idle for a few years. I had tires and tubes replaced plus some cosmetic work on the handle-bars. James came by and picked up my road bike and returned it one week later. I liked the work and materials. A few weeks later I had the mountain bike done which came back the next day. I would recommend this shop to others.
Rented a road bike for a 50 mile ride from Got Bikes to Castle Rock Park. James was friendly and accommodating. I ended up bringing the wrong shoes I had told him and he was able to change swap the peddles at the last minute at no charge. His bikes were as good as I could have expected and they were excellently tuned and more than met my needs. He sent me off well prepared with a water bottle, spare tube, pump and tools and they were more than appreciated as I occurred a flat with about 5 miles to go. If you're looking for a good quality road bike in the area I highly recommend him. I know if I come back to the area again I will. Bernie Antkowiak Massachusetts
