If you want to try tasty new things then you are in the right place. The dishes are multicultural mixed with Western cuisine. This provides interesting, adventurous dishes. The menu is not large, but it varies and this will undoubtedly benefit the quality. They also make delicious home-made drinks. The customer is really king here, if you follow a certain diet they can take care of everything for you. The staff is really very friendly and you feel welcome here.

If you like the dishes and love to cook, they also have a wonderful cookbook for sale.

We went to dine here with high expectations after reading all the reviews. Food was not particularly bad but the overall experience was unsatisfactory. We were made to wait for more than an hour to get our starters and our main course. People who arrived after us were being served while we were made to wait and this long wait killed our appetite. We were clear about ordering a vegetarian dish unfortunately there were pieces of meat in it. When we informed them they said it was a mistake as the pieces of meat might have flew from another dish and was totally oblivious. Never going here again!

My 19-year-old son had ordered a high tea for my birthday because they serve high-carbohydrate high tea. Within 24 hours he would receive a confirmation, did not make a call, and was informed very briefly that it went wrong, but you are now on it. Upon arrival they knew nothing, a high tea was quickly put down full of carbohydrates. After inquiring nothing appeared to be happened and I could choose a salad, for this we had not traveled to Delft specifically. We thanked and left. Friendly young staff with their hands in their hair, very sad and a pity that a company that says to take into account a certain target group in my case carbohydrate free the shelf so terribly wrong beats, fortunately Delft offers enough other hospitality that do offer service. I thought it was very sad for my son to surprise his mother, hopefully you will learn from this.

Honest pure cuisine, dishes that are made with love and completely adapted to your wishes. Enormous attention to detail, the highlight of which is the notebook on the table to write down all your inspiration. And while enjoying the best cup of coffee I have ever had, your day cannot go wrong!

We went there for lunch and absolutely loved it! We are vegan which we told the waitress who immediatly called for the chef in person! Papa Kazmi recommanded us to have the Jalfrezi and the Veggie Burger so that's what we orded and we were not disappointed. Both dishes had a lot of taste, the Jalfrezi was spicy (but I love spicy) and everything was fresh. He even came again and checked on us if we like it. Great food, great cook, great atmosphere!

Great food, adapted diets (gluten free) no problem. Nice service and the chef is the owner himself. He knows what is good! Four stars instead of five because it is quite pricey for what you get (18 euros for a vegetarian main course)

Do not order BOUILLABAISSE. It is truly absurd to call this a BOUILLABAISSE because the soup has no taste whatsoever of the seafood. The seafood itself in the soup also has no taste.
Worst BOUILLABAISSE we've ever had for the price of 17,50....no...we will not be coming back.

Nice employees, cozy and cozy atmosphere. For some old-fashioned but for me it was wonderful, quiet and nice and atmospheric music in the background.

Very effective when it comes to food. The menu looks simple but is an adventure in terms of taste.

Tasteful in both decor and food. In the building of an old bakery, that atmosphere still breathes. Food with an Indian twist. Owner even turned it into a cookbook (nice to purchase on the spot). Lovely place for a relaxed lunch. Also for dinner and takeout. A daily menu every day.

Nice eating place in Delft. Native American cuisine with a modern twist. Property is beautiful. Old bakery apparently and very nicely decorated. Some dishes were just too dull. Indian cuisine is known for the spicy and spicy cuisine. Some dishes seem to have been adapted too Western. Price was just on the high side for what you get. For example, trough for 17 euros is on the extremely high side ... Is a side dish at many Indian restaurants ...

First we got wrong dishes, even tough we were only second table to be used in the whole place. The young lady said the wrong dish wasn't coated, the older guy said it was. My date had bowel problems the whole weekend after that. So the girl was lying. But eventually we got right starter dishes wish wish were delicious but the main dishes were really disappointing and not nearly as good.

Very friendly staff and a very nice location (aside from the outdoor seating, which is on a very crowded narrow sidewalk and just comes across as uncomfortable).

We weren't too impressed with the food, especially not for the price. The portions were small and none of the dishes was particularly tasty. We had caramelized pineapple slices, which were hard to eat because they weren't properly sliced and were also not served with a knife, so it was quite a task to make them bite size. We also had a raw vegan brownie, which had unexpectedly large (and unwanted) chunks of fruit in it. If something is called a brownie, I expect it to be very chocolaty and non-fruity.

We also hoped for more vegan options, considering this is a vegetarian place.

A delicious home made and family run business in the heart of Delft. The Pakistani-Himalayan Hills and Dutch Mills represent the founders' origins. The menu prices are above average, but it's reflected in the quality of the dishes.

Good food. Friendly staff. The mix of Oriental and Western food is special. Successful concept. Food is spicy. The kitchen is characterized by many herbs. The cook, Papa Kazmi, comes to have a chat at the table. His recipes are compiled by his children in a beautiful cookbook.

Hills & Mills is a quaint and hidden gem in the heart of old Delft. They offer a small but cosy indoor seating area which can accommodate approximately 30 people. The menu offers a selection of Indian inspired dishes each served with thier own original twist. The offer a set price 3-course dinner with a selection of a few starters, mains and desserts. There is also the option to order each al carte. All dishes are home made and freshly prepared. They is also a generous selection of freshly pressed juices on offer. Service was great, both friendly and attentive. One of the better options in Delft and I would recommend you don't past it up.

The focus on ingredients and perfect execution defines French cuisine, and L'Arome's approach with its creative, changing menu and delicious flavors was the perfect embodiment of this! The prices were also surprisingly reasonable (at 24 Euros for two courses, or 28 Euros for three),

It was a hot and sunny day in delft and i was just roaming around with my friends and was desperately in need of a cool refreshing drink to-go. Hills & Mills is a quaint shop located in the corner of the street with it's open pane windows giving a really welcoming vibe. I walked in and asked the owner/chef if they have anything to drink.

My first preference was a strawberry/watermelon/pink colour based drink (which I don't remember clearly now) which was sold out. I was a bit bummed out, but then my eyes darted towards the second option which was a simple mix of rosemary and lemonade. I placed my order and waited patiently as the chef started preparing my order and also setting up the cafe.

Visually, it is a very simple drink with the rosemary twig looking pretty drifting amongst the bubbles imparting its subtle taste. I took a sip and thanked the chef and left the shop. And then i stopped midway on the pavement, went back into the shop and told the chef, "Oh my god. This is so good. This is so amazing! I love it. Thank you so much for this drink".

And i can still taste it's refreshingness and simplicity to date. Would definitely recommend experiencing this cafe!

Service we found good. Unfortunately it took a long time for all the food and drinks to arrive. But everything was tasty! I just thought there could be a little more variety in vegetables. Expressly ordered a chipata instead of salad, but still got lettuce, tomato and cucumber on my chipata and some vegetables were aubergine .. Could have had more different vegetables on my taste.
Smooties were fresh, sweet and beautiful in color.
The building was also clean and looked great.

Yesterday came here because of the good google reviews. Unfortunately, it has been extremely disappointing. The food, starter and main course were not good at all. The cucumber was clearly too long in the vinegar, it was completely transparent. The falafel was a kind of porridge so soft. And the taste in general was also very disappointing to keep it short. When we cautiously mentioned that the food was not so tasty, this was discussed with the cook and we were told by the waitress that this was properly cooked and this was the intention. Very dissatisfied and very strange when you read all the other reviews and the website, that Jamie Oliver is his name here, very embarrassing for him seems to me.

A nice place to eat.
Tasty, however, the main course is too expensive in relation to what is on offer.

Fine Indian restaurant in the center of Delft. When studying the menu you should make sure that some dishes are marked with a symbol of sharpness. If they are then you can assume that they are really sharp. The food was very good, the allergens were exemplary. There is a day ticket during the day and a three-course menu is offered in the evening.

FANTASTIC! Cozy little gem with an different menu. Their chai latte served in tall glasses was my favorite :-) tried the behari kebab and naans, heathly treats made without sugar. Tried the chicken salad which tasted yum! Also met the lovely, talented, welcoming owner and chef "Kazmi" and bought his recipe book.

This is a unique place to go to eat at! Everything they have can be diet based, so everyone can eat here. And secondly everything I ate here is made with a twist so it's unique. As the site mentioned, it's for the curious people. U can't really eat and say wow I ate a lot, but if u wanna try something new it's most certainly worth a visit. The chef is very friendly! The employees really respectful and helpful. As for the dish I had. I really liked the chicken and shrimps and Naan bread. The burger was really spicy (I never eat spicy). Just so u know, u pay for the quality, and effort! So ain't a cheap place to try out. I would give it a final 4.5 stars.

We had an amazing time with wonderful food at Papa Kazmi's restaurant Hills & Mills. They have very cosy spots in the back, where we were delighted to see that they published their own cook book. We ordered the bhengain bharta (roasted eggplant with tomatoes and herbs), jalfrezi and keema aloo, served with naan and papadums. The dishes were freshly made (piping hot!) and tasted amazing. The kheer (rice pudding) for dessert was a wonderful new experience, together with the spiced raw cacao drink (hot chocolate drink like you've never had before) and the classic chai latte. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely visit again!
