Pixel is new, Google is not. Since I spent almost $800 on my phone, you need to easily fix the following. Keep in mind, I have made about 30 calls, AND I read a prominent tech author echo essentially the same FIRST problem. One, porting numbers to your Pixel took about a month, and about 25 calls. Keeping in mind that I did not want to mess up, I called support. They told me to put the WRONG number on my phone. I wanted 240 exchange to be the number of my phone, and I wanted the Hangouts 856 number to also work on my phone the way that it did on my last phone. They told me to put in the 856 number. After MANY phone calls, I was told that in order to change that, I would need a new SIM card. Keep in mind that I did not touch ONE thing on my phone, I always asked for tech support. NOW, I would have done what I did myself on the first phone, put in the 240 exchange number and then associate it with my Hangouts. I got the new SIM card quickly. However, the Hangouts number did not go back to Google Voice until I finally found a knowledgeable Supervisor. She made a ticket and later that day, Engineering properly sent my Hangouts number back to my original google voice account. When that happened, not wanting to mess up, I called support again. This time, after several personnel, I did properly get the 240 number attached to the phone, then the 856 number worked as well, since it was with the old google account. HOWEVER, then I was told that I would have to send my 856 hangouts number to a new google account, or lose it. So, I did set up a new gmail, and associated my 856 number with my new gmail.
NOW, I want to associate NON GMAIL email accounts with my phone. I am currently on my fourth call. Well, not really, I am waiting for a call back from a supervisor, because the frontline techs do not know how to do this.
I paid $800 for my phone, and $70 a month, and so I am expecting you to support ALL of the google apps. During the first go around, I was told that Hangouts is considered a foreign app. You need to fix that. It is a google app, almost always used with a Pixel, if you are smart, anyway, because it is a good service.
I am told that gmail does not have phone support. Until I wanted to associate my two new work emails with my gmail on my phone, I did not have a problem with GMAIL. These are all google apps, I am NOW paying Google money, instead of just letting you use my personal information as to get money for Google. So, I am expecting prompt and courteous service.
Except for the time, just a few moments ago, I have not been the problem. Unfortunately, I associated hanging up the phone, with the power button, which is also the button that you press to make the screen turn on. I had just done that, and so, it was my first opportunity to cut off a phone call while instinctively trying to see the screen again.
You have to change the hang up the phone button to another button, or something, because that should not happen. While it was my fault, you should never associate the phone hang up button with getting the screen to light once again. That is an ergonomic mistake.
I had just hung up from the third or fourth tech and wrote this waiting for the supervisor to call me back. I logged back on to edit this post, because its been about 45 minutes now. I have not heard back from the supervisor. I will give it another 15 minutes and then call back. I will post the results here.
The phone works great, the cost per month is great, and if that were not the case, I would have returned the phone. I expect that this issue with the email will be the last bump in the road.
Of note, My Bosses daughter fixed his phone in a few taps. However, She is not here to fix my phone. I am extremely computer literate, just tell me how to do it, and I will be able to do it.
I am on my fourth pixel. Everything works except the speakerphone.
I had the reported issues, on several phones. All speakerphones have not worked.
I have been working with Conrad M. on different Google Ads accounts for almost a year now. He is a true asset to Google and extremely knowledgeable for all aspects of Google Ads. Each time I have a session with him it is like going to school. He always follows up with exactly what we did and provides documentation for what was covered.
Thanks, Brett
Not sure where to post this concern but this seems like an appropriate spot... Just want to know who the marketing genius is who thought it'd be a good idea to waste all this paper and space to send me two stupid post cards. Please give this person a good arse whoopin (and remove me from your snail-mailing list!)
I am not sure where I can post this review so I went here. I just want to be able to post a review and remain anonymous. I have a rare last name and would like to post a review of a business that has treated me bad. I do not necessarily need them to be able to single me out as the bad review by associating it with my name and picture. Also if I wanted to recommend a specific doctor (say a proctologist helped me out) I can not do so unless I tell the world I have hemorrhoids..then google my name and forever more everyone thinks I have hemorrhoids...
Now I have changed my Google + name just to post reviews... That sucks..I wish I could use my nickname like on youtube... Your policy protects businesses from bad reviews by shaming people into not posting.. lets say a doctor touched me inappropriately...the list goes on....I will be using other review sites.
First Name Anonymous
Last Name 1
Linked to my real E-mail forever...I don't need G+.
Yes, I could have created a fake E-mail address with a fake name but I don't see why I need to for one review.
I only leave negative reviews if things are really, really, wrong just to try to save other people.
I left one star here to get your attention. Reviews gets 1 star while most of Google is 4 stars and the search engine gets 5 stars.
This was one of my dream place to visit. Google Head Office / Home. I can say one of the biggest office I ever visited before.
I had a great experience here during the LG Summit 17.
Quite, clean, big offices, cafeteria, great infrastructure in and out. Very friendly and helpful staff all over the complex incase of anything. Best wi-fi.
The great part of outside infrastructure on the parking lot there is parking for disabilities and I was surprised to see expectant mothers parking sign. Just this is an example that shows Google cares so much.
Hi goole sir pleas halp me my devies location infinix hot 9
Try exploring the grounds, if you are into geocaching.
Google maps and google my business is allowing untrue hateful defamatory reviews
from Trump supporters people who never had done any business with businesses that they accuse just because the businesses are anti Trump! When marked flagged andcreported to Google to be taken down , Google's answer tells the business to go get a court order which is costly and unfair If there is a proof why do they allow spam ! very disturbing!
As a FinanziamentiPuglia consulting company I can only say that dr. DI BELLO is a qualified and serious professional. We "put it to the test" with some of our customers (medium-sized companies) who asked to be supported during the internationalization phase and the result was achieved as planned.
I am very excited to see this place
I did love it
It is amazing

My visit to Googleplex was one of the best in all the trip, which was through I/O19 Summit
Google,... Work the Way You Live. Better together from anywhere with toos you can trust!
I was looking to find the amphitheater and googolplex with that the amphitheater dress what's up with that. Spend all my time wasted
Google has 0 customer service. No chat option on their website, no capability to talk to someone on the phone. I needed to help my brother recover his account information as he lost his phone and forgot his email password. I was on hold for an hour and a half to try and speak to someone at Google Headquarters and could hear the people in the background talking and typing. I said "hello??" multiple times and could hear myself in the background, they were ignoring me. I am so fed up and frustrated with this experience. Will not recommend Google to anyone in the future. Very upset.
I use everything Google. Recently ordered pixel buds (in stock) on the 25th of May. After a week of the order processing I emailed them. They said there was a glitch in their system and they will "forward" my info and order to the store support people. I've never been told the status of the order. The first charge fell off, then they charged me again and it declined because I wasn't expecting them to charge again. Then i fixed it and the payment went through again the following day. So three charges in, the buds are still "processing". I email again, they say "oh sorry, some orders are delayed due to a glitch in our system". That was today, June 3rd. I'm still sitting here $200 less, with no pixel buds or any idea when they might be shipped. At this point Google customer support has stopped emailing me back.
Most of the company's support and customer service functions are largely automated through forms and automatic responses. Google does not understand or help small business in these trying times. This could end up ruining the reputation of hardworking individuals and small businesses .
20 Years ago in San Francisco "Google" was shared by word of mouth! I Always visit Shoreline when in Town.
been a developer for years for them plus received over a million views with Google maps last month and first off never received a nickel second someone else is probably receiving my money and finally I believe they stole my computer software to develop Google Fi and last a great company that I wish might consider coming over and talking to me about all this as my personal life and business are ruined and have been for the past few years.
The staff is amazing, the instructors really care about their students it's an overall great environment to be in.
Search for any small business in your market/city. A photo, map, and critical information regarding that business will appear on the right side of your computer screen (sounds great right?). Amazingly, Google allows it's "users" to make suggested edits to those existing businesses you are searching for (including your own business). This sounds great, but only as long as the Google user is using ethical practices. Unfortunately, Google cannot prevent a competitor to make major suggested edits to a competing business that is not their own. These "suggested edits" are not monitored by Google and are always approved by Google robots 100% of the time without consent from the business owner that they re having their information changed. To make matters worse the business owner who is having their information changed isn't even notified by Google (by email) that it was changed. You have to hope that you catch the errors on your own... either by searching your own business or by checking your "My Google Business" page. Here are just a few suggested edits that are allowed by Google for any of their Google users (including competitors) on Google Search:
(1) Edits to "Has this business moved, closed, or never here"?
(2) Edits to Name of Business"
(3) Edits to "Business Address"
(4) Edits to Business Hours of Operation
(5) Edits to Business Phone Number"
(6) Edits to "Business website"
(7) Edits to "Business category"
Note: I contacted Google through my Adwords account. Once you get through you can speak with a Google My Business specialist. I spoke to a representative and management, but both of them lied to me and said this wasn't possible. I demanded a screen share and showed them how easy it was for me to change someones existing business information (don't worry I changed it back). Only then did I get the standard corporate line and apology. Either they were lying to me from the beginning of the call or they were uneducated at best about their own Google business practices. Shame on Google for not protecting their business owners!!
What a great company. Dan in the office helped me get me claim filed and the tech Jason was very friendly and helpful as well. he did a great job on my windshield and even vacuumed out the front of my truck. Great experience from start to finish. will recommend them to all my friends.
I am pissed off from google and it's ridiculous C grade security, from past 3 hours i am trying to configure outlook on my notebook and and this @$$ is blocking and sending me email every time, there should be a ridiculous option to "allow"
Called to actually get some help because they suck online. No directory to be able to talk to someone, unless you know by name. I'm just about ready to switch to Bing and leave chrome forever.
Had a great time just riding around the campus with my wife on the free Google bikes that are everywhere. The Android statues are great.
Well good at Google, just like at Apple elsewhere, we like to water services and have information about you, but the home is simple: nonexistent!
There are mm watchmen to remind you that the pretty ones available are just for the staff ...
We sign and we leave :-)
If Google wasn't here I wouldn't have this account on Google+!
Good Headquarters, the "GooglePlex" is a great place to visit and very tourist friendly.
For me, this is good place if you are Google Lover, I spent all day at this awesome place with my friend, there restaurant. and nearest place.
Of course I like it so I know where I really have respect for those dogos
I did 6 weeks of Ozone Therapy at Heart & Soul - liked it very much! Would do more if I could afford it. It is something Health Insurance Companies should pay for. Well worth the money.
Dinosaurs, futuristic ships, lots of food everywhere, employees working on grass, bike rides, trails, Japanese restaurant ... phew, it's Google! There is a little shop on campus that sells souvenirs of the company. To move from one building to another, bicycles. There is even a vegetable garden. For the visitor it is so much fun that you forget that here is a place of work.
Sir,
Why You suspend Our Account i cant post any Nudity Or Community Guidline's.
I would love to visit this place! Does anyone pay a pass for me? Plz
Driving here from Palo Alto is fun. It's cool hanging out here in Mountain View. Thanks Google for the fun.
The company reserves the right to search some important things and aside from that,it has some products developed by the company,it's overall
Don t support racism and sexism. Loved google till I read the entire Damore memo for myself and saw the screen shots of not hiring white or asian men. People aren t random, over 70% of USA is white, google is only 55% white and they are desperately trying to lower that! The only way to appear to not be racist is to actually be systemically racist. Equality of opportunity is democracy. Equality of outcome is communism. Olympics are fair, equal opportunity, but the podium (outcome) is never politically correct/equal. The only way to make fair competition (olympics or capitalism) look equal for outcome, is the cheat and oppress the overachievers. You shouldn t punish Norway for too many gold medals and Norway privilege. Read the Damore memo for yourself and watch his interview, and then vote with your wallet/privacy. boycott google #cathynewnaninterview
