We only did the narrated cruise (not one of the lunch or dinner cruises). I loved the information and seeing the bridges, skyline, etc. but the narration was hard to hear early on in the tour because so many others were talking about anything but what was going on. I wished there was a way to ask to have the narrator's volume turned up--either that or I wish they had a part of the boat set aside for those most interested in the narration and another place for those more interested in socializing among themselves.

Nice relaxing trip down the river! It let's you see Cleveland from a different angle. We did the narrated tour. We learned a few things while relaxing with a light breeze. The center deck is nice and shady. Bottom deck is closed off but air conditioned. Top is open and sunny. We went for the center which was the perfect blend of outside but still not in direct sun. They sell snacks which were pretty reasonable on price. Good all ages activity.

I went with a group of friends for the Friday happy hour cruise. It was a neat experience, but a little pricey. Food onboard is typical concession stand fare (e.g. pizza, nachos, cheeseburgers). Each item costs between $3-7. I would recommend the ice cream sandwiches. A 12-oz can of blue moon is $5. People get quite tipsy by the end. The second deck has the best breeze. The fourth deck has the best view. The first deck has air conditioning. On a day with good weather, it must be pretty hard to get seasick. Parking on the pier is crowded. Try to park elsewhere unless you have a motorcycle (motorcycle parking is right next to the ticket office). Arrive early because finding parking will cost you 10-20 minutes if you arrive late -- more if there is an event downtown. Also, if you board early, you can get your drinks and grab one of the tables on the upper decks. The bar on the first deck is the least crowded during the ride. It is worth walking down too the first deck to get your drinks when the ship is moving.

Buffet lunch is minimal and portions chosen by the server. Unsweet tea only. Real silverware and cloth napkins. Good brownie piece and cookie but give up on the super bland cream puff. Staff practically takes the plate out from under your raised fork. Oh and the rules. It's such a shame we have to pay for the bad people, folks with no sense. Sensitive ears may want ear plugs. The horn is very loud!

This is a well run, interesting and safe experience. Tickets and boarding is smooth and organized. The vessel is clean and comfortable.
The only issue is finding parking. It would be nice to have a map or link to a parking app on the website.

We booked a Mother's Day brunch cruise. What a wonderful event! The food and music was great. Even though the day was cloudy and cool, the ride up the Cuyahoga river was smooth. We sat at the mouth of the river and watched the trains go over the bridge before it was raised. Worth every penny!

We went on the luncheon cruise. The crew was wonderful & the food was amazing! Well worth the $$. I was surprised when the cruise went down the Cuyahoga River versus going into the open waters of the lake. It was neat to see The Flats from the river but I've always loved the open water so I was a little disappointed. I still rate it a 5 star experience because my disappointment was due to my assumption instead of my experience.

Excellent Overall Experience. Great Narration & Tour. Wouldn't recommend the buffet. The buffet staff served very skimpy portions that did not even allow for seconds like a normal buffet. The buffet costs not worth it. Ex: Senior Cruise Ticket $17.00. SeniorCruise with buffet $35.95. So the buffet was $18.95 for senior & $20 regular. Not enough dessert plates per person delivered to table. Had to ask twice before a third person finally brought it. Buffet quality poor due to veggies overcooked, chicken dry roast beef only lukewarm. Overall would go again just no buffet. Cruise booked by Connie Ross not Scott

Awesome experience on the Goodtime III! We took the site seeing tour on Friday and it was an absolutely beautiful day for a ride around Lake Erie. The narration was informative and offered insight into many things I had no idea about in Cleveland. At the end, they turned on some good music and we sailed around for awhile. It was super relaxing and I would certainly do it again!

The staff and crew were very friendly and helpful. If you haven't seen the view of Cleveland sitting on Lake Erie then I suggest you do it soon. The city looks great and on a hot day you can't beat the cool breezes.

The Dinner Cruise and City Lights tour was awesome for my birthday celebration with my wife! We sat on the second deck, which was perfect. Dinner wasn't the best, however considering the price for the tour, not bad. Awesome views of the city! We will definitely do this again.

On July 20th 2018 we paid $12 to park an walked down to the ticket both to be stopped rudely by security staring the boat was full and watched as at least 20 others paid for tickets that came in behind us. We went to pay for our tickets anyway since security lied to us only to be told they just stopped selling tickets as we watched at least 5 others buy tickets in the next line. We were there for our brothers party. We went to the line to try an pay on the boat an Capt Rick was very nasty an rude to us an didn't even want to hear how we were being treated. He still let two other people on the boat afterwards. Screaming at us to move. I was in awe like Wow. We are going to miss our brother Big Wills party because they choose us as a stopping point. We were stopped 3 times as we watched at least 27 people board after us,whom arrived after us. Thanks Captain.

Great time and the cruise was awesome. The crew was very nice and the service for the lunch was fantastic. The food was great, a good variety and the deserts at the end of lunch was a bonus. Would definitely recommend this cruise.

Trip was nice. We enjoyed ourselves. Only problem was I called prior to trip for parking prices as the All star game was starting Tuesday. Besides my car I had 2 other cars from out of town. Young lady I spoke with firmly stated that parking was first come, first served and was ALWAYS $10 regardless of other events in the area. I even questioned her with the fact that there was a major event in town but again she confirmed $10! Not happy about that.

Great night on the lake.... but seriously only 2 bartenders on each floor. . 45 minutes for a drink... Not cool! The band was performing on the first floor and DJ on the upper decks... so if you want to hear the band you had to stay downstairs...

From purchasing tickets online, checking in at the will-call building, to boarding, everything was a breeze. Friendly staff/ crew. We arrived for the dinner cruise (assigned seating) and had the opportunity to meet nice people at our table. The dinner and service was great. You are free to roam the decks after dinner. The live band was a hit with their music selection. We had to return to the pier to pick up the City lights cruise passengers. The boarding process takes about 30 minutes... then of we go again. It's an amazingly smooth transition. The City lights don't disappoint either. It was a nice cruise on the river to see the Flats and all of the night life Cleveland has to offer. The DJ on the second deck kept the crowd dancing and partying. The crew was busy, polite, and professional. They kept the night going without really being noticed. Job well done GoodtimeIII! I will definitely recommend youi to anyone who asks! And of course, I have to mention the parking... I am so glad we chose an Uber driver to get us from our hotel and back. Limited space on the pier and Cleveland gov't getting parking money now. This is not the GoodtimeIII fault. So plan accordingly! Once again, Thank you for a great evening on the water!

Captain Rick was nice but as far as the waiting staff they were very nonchalant, very unattentive, and we came as a group where they automatically got a 20% tip. Would not recommend for a party.

We did the dinner cruise. The food was ok, I feel like I could make a better dinner myself (and I'm not a cook), but I didn't have to so... The skyline was nice, but limited, we made 3 circles from East Cleveland to West Cleveland (not down the river), and got to watch planes land at Lakefront. Honestly, I'm not sure it's worth the money, but we had fun.

One of the better ways to experience Clevelands best natural resource (the lake). The views are really great, the boat itself is surprisingly nice and modern as well as clean. The several times I've been on board the crew has always been outstanding. If you can score yourself a special event date on this boat, you won't regret it. If you want to take a loved one or the family out for a one of a kind view of Cleveland, do it!

Our Ladies Connecting group from church took this cruise on Sept. 23. The quality of the luncheon was way above expectations, and many commented on how good the food was. EVERY staff member was friendly, polite, and helpful. The scenery was fantastic and the taped commentary was informative. A "Goodtime" was had by all!

I love this boat. Its a very cool excursion.

I love this boat. Its a very cool excursion.
The crew was nice and the day was perfect.
Here's the problem
We had a disabled child with us . The boat says its handicap accessible, which it is . However that's it.
Just accessible.
There were 2 wheelchair bound passengers and it was hard finding space . There is no where designated for handicap people so after you manage to get up the plank onto the ship which wasn't easy your stuck on your own.
There wasn't early boarding for handicapped.
The wasn't separate space
No one inquired if we needed any assistance.
So we found a spot in the back of the boat lower deck .
We had to sit near the restrooms .
And that's where the fumes from the exhaust seem to billow in off amd on.
We couldn't see anything .We had to sit in the middle tables. So because the boat had alot of people we had to hope people moved their heads for us to see anything . And because our chlld is 10 she was still to small even at that point. We could squeeze out onto the crowded back deck .Thing is not alot of space vecause half was off limits. The other was making our child breath fumes..Once we tried to go back in our seats had been taken so now we were forced to stand until they left.
Also, 8we had to move her chair every couple minutes because there was no way for passengers to get to the rest rooms and her chair seemed to be in everyone's path .
It wasn't a good Fathers Day experiences.
I feel like them saying accessible although true is very misleading.
You can get on but that's it . Afterwards its up to luck .
And last getting on was hard but going back down to get off its super steep almost dangerously.
My child doesn't weigh a lot ,but I still had to struggle to get her off. One of the crew members saw us and helped a little close to he bottom but It was unsafe and concerning
Outside of those things
Parking was easy.
People were nice.
And it was a good temperature inside the boat .
Even though no one seemed to notice us and our struggles ,they all were smiling and friendly.
I am positive once they fix these things it will be a good time for everyone .

Lovely and enjoyable cruise which takes you on a comfortable boat tour to relax while sightseeing; and lets you learn about the Cleveland while taking in the panoramic views and architecture that provide the unique atmosphere of this historic city. Very much worth it, I would personally recommend you take the time to share in this experience with friends and family.

We had a wonderful time. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the view was beautiful. I did have one negative and that was the cost of snacks on the ship, but all in all it was great and I would recommend it to family and friends.

I took my office out for a lunch cruise and the reviews from everyone have been universally positive. It was a warm, sunny day, but there were ample shaded spaces and air conditioned decks to accommodate the uncomfortable. Lunch was good! The crew was very accommodating, and we all were fascinated by the guided tour. Who had any idea how many kinds of bridges there are in Cleveland, not to mention the rich history of the region. We will be making this an annual summer event for my staff!

This is a must do and see excursion. It is good family fun, or if you want to experience more of an adult atmosphere there are excursions designed for that as well. You can take in all of the wonderful upgrades along the east and West Bank of the flats. Fun, good food, and beverages, what more can you ask for!

Very nice relaxing evening. Loved seeing the sights and lights of Cleveland at night. But noticed a whole group of people smoking marijuana on the 3rd deck... Police and security kept walking right by while doing nothing. Luckily that group of people went back down to the 2nd deck. But I find it strange that I smelled it, amd saw it being passed back, and forth, so did the group I was with, but officers couldn't find it...

We had a great time on the Goodtime III! The trip was smooth and the narration was wonderful. The only thing is that the music played on the boat seemed odd for the age group. It could have been a touch more serene as opposed to the heavy metal AC/DC songs chosen. The boat was clean and crew professional. It is a great thing to do for people of any age!
