My date and I went and the jazz musicians and singer were first rate. Food was not included in the ticket price. The food for sale was awful junk food. Steamed burgers, stale nachos and undercooked pizza. The drinks were overpriced $9 for a shot of vodka and a beer. The beer was so cheap it just said beer on it, lol.

Went on the recommendation of a friend. The tour was very informative about Cleveland and the Cuyahoga River. (We had a bit of trouble hearing the early part of it due to many people carrying on their own conversations--I wish they had a part of the boat set aside for those wanting to hear the stories and facts so those who wanted to socialize could do so without bothering those who want the history.) We got to see several different types of bridges--many had to be opened to allow the boat to continue on. We got to see a train go over one of the bridges both going down and coming up the river. Also great views of the Cleveland Skyline and one Cleveland Script sign.

I'm torn about this one.........
We went on the Good Times III dinner/dance cruise with 24 family members as part of a long weekend family reunion. Although many family members live nearby, it seemed like a fun thing to do with a group.........and it was. We had a blast. The weather cooperated, the dance music was fun, the beer and wine available for purchase was decent, and not overpriced, and the scenery was lovely. I had no idea Cleveland was so pretty from the water.

The experience was only marred by the almost unpalatable meal that passed for dinner. I don't think anyone was expecting fine dining, but this food was straight from a high school cafeteria. The roast beef (you were limited to one slice per person) was tasty enough, but the gravy was awful. My husband referred to the potato wedges as salt bombs. I passed on the mushy rigatoni, but the low point of the meal was the "cheesecake" for dessert. It was laughable. No one could believe how bad it was. To me, it tasted like whipped margarine, salty, not sweet. It was topped by a thick brown liquid, purportedly some kind of fruit sauce, that did absolutely nothing to improve the flavor. Scanning the room after dessert, one saw table after table of cheesecake with one bite taken out of it. What a waste. I'd take the boat trip again in a heartbeat, but take a pass on the dinner, unless you liked high school cafeteria food : )

This was the second time I took loved ones on the Goodtime 3 and the second time we had a lake cruise instead of a river cruise. It s pretty boring cruising back and forth just offshore. Thank goodness for good company!

I understand that sometimes bridges don t cooperate but I wish we were informed about it and given the opportunity for a rain check. They knew ahead of time that a bridge at the beginning of the cruise wasn t operating.

Just disappointed. Again.

Next time I have family in town we will look for another company that maybe has a smaller boat and a more interesting itinerary or maybe try a cruise on a different river.

My wife and I took the HappyHour cruise. 6:30pm - 8:00 pm. It wasn't overly crowded. The music was dance worthy. The drinks weren't too expensive. The views were cool. Dope experience. We will definitely do it again.

Great experience, crew is so friendly and professional, food and drinks are reasonably priced. Very informative and interesting, guaranteed to make even the most cynical appreciate Cleveland. Locals enjoy the city from a fresh perspective on the water.

This is the best way to see the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie. The Goodtime gives a great narrative history of the bridges, river, lake, and industry, buildings, entertainment places you see along the way. I love all of Cleveland's bridges and some of them lifted and swung out for us to get by. 4 generations of our family went on the boat ride and we were all comfortable and had fun. The staff was very nice.

I liked the cruise with education quite well. Only suggestion ~ the person who narrated needs to speak up. People naturally start out speaking strongly and then the voice drops after 2-3 words. When his voice dropped, I could not hear him.

THE DINNER DANCE 4 HOUR CRUISE WAS FANTASTIC FUN. THAT SAYING "CALGONE TAKE ME AWAY" HAS NOTHING ON THE GOODTIME III. MY SISTERS AND I HAD A GRAND RELAXING EXCITING TIME. WE WENT ON A SATURDAY. THE BAND PLAYED ALL MY 80'S HIT. THE STAFF VERY PROFESSIONAL. EVERYONE WAS SAFE. AND EVEN THOUGH THERE IS DRINKING ON THE BOAT. THE GUEST WERE VERY MATURE AND RESPONSIBLY RESPECTFUL. IM LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT ONE.

My parents who are in their 80's always wanted to go on this trip so we did. The crew were pleasant and my parents were able to climb the stairs at their own pace. We all enjoyed the narration of history about the Cuyahoga River and Cleveland, and the beautiful day. Parking was plentiful at the Pier when we went. We enjoyed it very much!

I enjoyed the live band. It would have been even nicer if a live band playing Jazz/R&B were booked. The servers were so kind to extend the courtesy to our blind group with the buffet dinner and drinks. The strawberry chheese cake could have been a bit better.

Took the 3-5 cruise. Enjoyed the ride and a couple of cocktails with friends. Did not hear the narrative as we were talking too much. Only downside was that the ladies room could have been cleaner.

Enjoyed myself and will experience the tour again but next time I m staying downstairs where the crowd and music is a little older or seasoned. Upstairs the music is for the younger crowd but they have the better view.

The 2 hour trip takes you up the Cuyahoga River and back inside the breakwall. Part of the trip is narrated - history of the area, but also current facts. The 2nd half, music is played. There is a decent bar on board, including wine and beer. There are different excursions that the Goodtime offers, depending on your interests.

The Good Time Cruise is always a good time, but I don't think they are doing well with the Covid 19 restrictions. People weren't 6 ft apart during the cruise or while leaving the ship. I hope they will work on getting better at the requirements during this time.

First trip to Cleveland to see the Rock and Roll Hall of fame and found the goodtime III ! Glad I did. The weather was great and had a good cruise back thru the river and under the bridges. Loved the narration on the way about the history of Cleveland! I would definitely go again if I ever got up that way. I live in Kansas City Missouri so not just a short road trip!
