I went with a group of friends for the Friday happy hour cruise. It was a neat experience, but a little pricey. Food onboard is typical concession stand fare (e.g. pizza, nachos, cheeseburgers). Each item costs between $3-7. I would recommend the ice cream sandwiches. A 12-oz can of blue moon is $5. People get quite tipsy by the end. The second deck has the best breeze. The fourth deck has the best view. The first deck has air conditioning. On a day with good weather, it must be pretty hard to get seasick. Parking on the pier is crowded. Try to park elsewhere unless you have a motorcycle (motorcycle parking is right next to the ticket office). Arrive early because finding parking will cost you 10-20 minutes if you arrive late -- more if there is an event downtown. Also, if you board early, you can get your drinks and grab one of the tables on the upper decks. The bar on the first deck is the least crowded during the ride. It is worth walking down too the first deck to get your drinks when the ship is moving.
