I think it is a great place. I think it is very over priced at $16 per person. Kids and adults same price. Extra charge for everything. I had guy next to me say to the cashier its getting as bad as Disney.

horrible place where animal abuse is rampant. the ponies are chained together & forced to walk in circles all day long. the camels are also not taken care of and are also confined to walking around in a very small space. it is quite obvious to anyone who looks at them that they are sick and/or injured and are quite unhappy. last but not least, a giraffe in illinois in the fall & winter-really?

do yourself & the poor, suffering victims a favor and please avoid this place at all cost. instead go to places which choose to not exploit animals in the name of profit.

Love Goebbarts!!! Been visiting here since 1992. Always agreat time rain or shine. Ample parking, east access off Route 72. Great selection of vegetables, very reasonably priced. Lots of apples and pumpkins. Pig races, farm animals, feed Ernie the giraffe. Great for kids 1 and up, tons of activities. Check their website for further details and pricing.

It was great. We got there 2 hours before closing so we were rushing through it but it's very spacious and there's alot for the kids to do and for the adults as well. There's animals, jumping pillows, a huge play area. There's also pony rides and camel rides (which you pay for separately). There's also an endless amount of pumpkins, Halloween decor, fruits and vegetables as well as flowers. There's alot to do here! It was a drive to get here but worth it

Our family always has so much fun when we visit Goebbert's! They have great choices and lots of things to entertain kids of ALL ages and adults too! Their haunted house is innocent enough for our 7 year old to go into and scary enough to where I still screamed! We love Goebbert's and will continue to come back multiple times a year every year.

I know a lot of folks love to come to Goebbert's in the fall for hay rides, the corn maze, pumpkins and so much more. That goes for me, too. That said, I really like the market. I could hang out there for hours. There are all kinds of great treats to be had. I especially like the Rice Krispy-based treats on a stick with Halloween and fall-themed designs drawn on them. Plus, they're made right around here in my home town of Antioch. I'm glad to see the Goebbert family supports local businesses. That means a lot to me. The hardest decision to make about a visit to Goebbert's Farm is picking a location. Do I go to Hampshire, or do I pick South Barrington? They are both great! Thank you Lee, Kelly, Holly, Jacob, Emily and everyone else at Goebbert's!

This place is a Halloween gold mine! Pumpkins are way over priced. But the amenities are perfect. Petting zoo, tractor rides, haunted house, maze, fun wood cuts of cartoons to take pictures with, large wood toys for kids to climb on, sweet popcorn, corn on the cob, crafts, home made pies and treats. You can spend as much or little as you want.

We prefer Sonny Acres.

We prefer Sonny Acres.

We drove down from Minnesota to specifically go to Sonny Acres. We tried this place on our last day, and we will stick to Sonny Acres.

Pro's:
-The Jumping Pillow was separated by height ranges, making it fun for kids of all ages to enjoy.
-Large play area with a good variety for all kids to enjoy.
-Decent selection of food.
-Private changing/nursing area.

Con's:
-Lack of seating, need more seating all around the area.
-No recycle bins, tons of waste that could be recycled.
-More trash cans in general.
-More handicap accessible seating.
-DON'T CHARGE ADULTS TO ACCOMPANY KIDS. $16.99 IS INSANE. We saw this charge on the website, wanted to try it, wasn't worth the money.
-$6 on the Jumping Pillow is nuts. Your competition does unlimited. Parents are looking for bang for their buck, this makes parents be very selective.
-Include the same menu options in both food locations, or post menus outside both doors before they are stuck in long lines.
-Increase the animal enclosures if you are going to have them.

We won't be back, we will stick to Sonny Acres. Spent less money and got a better experience for our whole family.

My daughter went to the farm with her school and it was pretty bad as soon as we got the we went into a tent to eat lunch tables are dirty no napkins no silverware no nothing after that went to go see a quick promotional movie which I don't see the point then went on the hayride and then some caged terrible looking alpacas and goats their main thing is the animals cause it took 2/3 whole tents and the poor animals looked so sad. So after that they went on to see the giraffe also looked pretty bad not enough space for the animals enclosure then one slide plus if you're on the school trip you can't use all the playgrounds and jumping pillow or whatever cause 4/5/6 year olds won't definitely enjoy that right this was a pretty tiresome and sucky trip if you're going to a pumpkin far try Bengstons Pumpkin Farm

Great!

Anything good about this place is overshadowed by the maltreated exotic animals. There are tropical /hot climate animals that are out in the cold. There are animals crammed into tiny pens.

A beautiful family friendly farm for the suburbs. I recommend going during the fall around Halloween. It is well decorated, there is pumpkin picking and hayrides. I love their freshly made pies and produce.

Been going here since I was a kid every year in the 90s to pick out my pumpkin. Still an awesome place! Now that I take my kids. These days. I don't know of its the county taxes but its almost non affordable to enjoy the whole place.. there should just be 1 cover price per person for all the attractions. Don't know if we will be able to continue the tradition...

Not worth the price. 15$ to get in and then you pay for every other thing on top of that. Feels like it's mainly to make a profit. Quite crowded on the weekends. Okay for kids to see the animals other than that not worth it.
