I usually go twice in the fall season, so I can judge everything evenly. I've been going since 1995, with my 5 year old kids. I can tell you, no other year has made me want to write a review. But this year was something special, every single crew was pretty good compared to years past.

The grounds crew was excellent this year, always willing to help me answer questions, there wasn't an uncleaned table, a full trashcan, or tons of trash on the ground either time I went. No stacks of trays, and almost no bees!

The cashiers and market people were also very nice, very willing to help. Though, some were much better in service then actually dealing with customers.

The security was probably the most lack luster, they almost seemed like they didnt care and just wanted to get that next pay check. Some were rude, some bumped into customers and some just didnt do their job properly (I got my hand stamped wrong and had to talk to a supervisor when they refused to let me into animal land).

But overall, it was absolutely fantastic this year! Good job goebberts, Good job.

Used to be my favourite, now way overpriced for what you get. Kids admission is the same price as adults. Quality of the attractions have improved but not enough to justify the cost. $6 for A 3-minute Haunted House? I won't be back there are much better options that are just a little further away I think it's one of the beat bugs.

This place should be shut down because of how they treat their animals. Ponies that have to walk all day long in a carousel, even if only one horse has a rider, they all have to walk. They don t get any breaks. The exotic animals such as the giraffe are cold in this weather. Years ago a bear cub died in their care. They do not provide adequate care for their animals. Please avoid this place, it s abusing and exploiting animals.

Way over priced for cheap cardboard cut outs for kid pictures, watched as they kept pulling and dragging those poor camels because after hours of rides they are getting tired. This place is very greedy charging ridiculous prices to just get in, then rides, animal food etc ...is all extra. I would recommend trying a different place first that is cheaper basically every other pumpkin patch is cheaper than this place..Goebberts is just very greedy trying to price gouge because it's a season thing..this is for familys and kids ..come on do you really need to make it hard on people to afford a good family time goebberts?

I visited this place and it was SO worth the drive!!!!
Tons of entertainment, the kids played for a long time just on the haystacks! There are gift shops and I flat out found my favorite organic honey. It was so good that when I took it to the office, it was gone in a week and I was kind of bummed because it was pricey.

Also, OMG, there is the most beautiful barn that is perfect for weddings and other events. The ginormous crystal chandelier is stunning. Now I ve got to see if they sell this honey online! Lol.

The food is great too. I m only sorry I don t take the kids here sooner.

It was a nice experience and the closest pumpkin farm in the northern suburbs to where we live. We wanted some pumpkins to carve, and this close to Halloween all other places were sold out. So we made the journey and we picked out a couple of nice, huge pumpkins. They were a little pricey but that was to be expected. They had bushels and bags of apples, pies, hams, jellies and some sauces and dressings. There were attractions for kids and kettle corn and ciders. There were some nice backdrops to take fall pictures of the family. The people that worked there were very nice. They had carts so you could tote your pumpkins to the car. The traffic was directed by police so it was not a madhouse trying to get in and out.

School outing. Staff was very kind and helpful in guiding multiples classes to their prospective stations explaining each one thoroughly. The children were shown a short film about how Goebberts was stated. The washing ride was an enjoyable part of the day. They sang as they rode along the haunted first. They experienced seeing a variety of different animals. There was also a play area and at the end of their time at Goebberts, they were given a small pumpkin, eat of Indian corn, and a mini pumpkin or squash all of their choosing. I think the highlight of their day was the mechanical dragon. You could see the delight in their eyes as the dragon scooped up the pumpkin from the ground and crunched it to pieces. Great adventure for the kiddos.

Fun fall festival. Many exotic animals and the pumpkin eating mechanical dinosaur was pretty awesome. Although they are pretty organized, this place was a madhouse in October. The corn maze and hay bail pyramids were pretty disappointing. You can feed the animals and maybe a worthy experience to hand feed camels one time for a few bucks worth of carrots, but most animals already had way more food than they could handle alreAdy I think. The giraffes definitely went to bed with a tummy ache the whole month of October. It's a need to visit place at least once though if you have kids 5-10 years old. It was a bit pricy and things like the haunted house and bouncy house were still extra, but it's a nice American fall experience.

We love Goebbert's! It's been one of our family traditions to come here every year during the fall. The kids enjoy all the animals and all the fun activities. We always have a great time. Their apple cider donuts are amazing!

Awesome

First and last visit, no control with social distancing, while in lines people were right on each others heels. And the animals were over worked, an employee told my son that the ponies had given 5000 rides that day and it was only 3pm. One camel was laying down for 2 hrs and when it got up it was swaying side to side, I don't think that is normal behavior. They had 2 white tents where they had large and small animals with barely any room to move, even the giraffe looked unhappy, it was very sad to see these beautiful animals under those conditionals...

I went to this farm all the time as a kid and loved it. But, the fact that they still have their animal exhibit after having a baby bear die there 4 years ago is awful!!! We will not be returning until they get rid of their exotic animals! Absolutely terrible and cruel. No need for them there! Please reconsider supporting a place that lets animals suffer like that. And Goebbert s, please get rid of your animal exhibit! Giraffes don t belong on a pumpkin farm.

A must place to visit during their pumpkin festival. Definitly worth the admission price. Also they have the best selection of plants, and fresh produce in the area. Everything is locally grown.

Love this place. Our new favorite pumpkin farm. The animal area is pretty cool. Where else can you have birds sit on your shoulder and eat birdseed and then walk 20 yards and feed a giraffe? Love this place.

Pricey at $15 per adult. Camel ride is $6. Petting Zoo always a hit. Corn box tons of fun for the kids. Good way for the under 10 age group to burn calories. Nice selection of foods at the food court. Apple Donuts yummy. Apple cider is excellent.

Nice place to purchase produce.

Nice place to purchase produce.
The restrooms are spotless which impressed me a lot
The staff was friendly.
Now, why 4 and not 5 stars. Went with my kids and not much to do or see here. Indeed they have a playground in the back which seems that nobody is using it because i seen it well preserved and also a no moving train.
The same playground could be found in any other park so nothing special for kids to see at farm

Absolutely not worth the money or the risk. We (wrongly) thought that because their website says online ticket purchases are required, that they were limiting attendance. They are not. There is no room for social distancing, most people are not wearing masks and their are entirely too many people in the given space. Aside from the risk, it was over an hour wait to get to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard. That wait would occur in a line with people standing within inches of each other, again, many with no mask. This is the worst most overpriced pumpkin farm I ve ever visited.

I had a BLAST!! The store was awesome inside the farm, everything was locally made/grown, apple cider donuts were great!! Camel ride, haunted house, ring tailed lemurs........I didn't give 5 stars because some of the animals looked miserable, how are they treated when closed?.........loved the giraffes also, 1 of them tools cup of carrots out my hand!!! I'll be back, I recommend this place

I took off one star because it is a bit expensive.

Ok, me and my kids visiting this place for years. But in past few years that Farm is overrun by people, its getting too small specially weekends when people storming that place when weather is nice . Few rides, nice animal zoo...but long lines, not enough decent food and thrash cans...I'm sorry but I think it's time to say goodbye and move on.. Richardson farm is way better.

Love taking my baby to the patch. From the apple cider donuts to the tractor ride, you are sure to find something that your little one will enjoy. I find this patch more affordable with lots to offer then other patches in the area. A tradition that will live on through our little ones for sure.

Such a great pumpkin farm for people of all ages. So beautiful and the animal tents are alot of fun! I would definitely bring cash with you as some of places only accept cash and feeding the animals is cash only. It's so clean and well maintained. I can't wait to bring my daughter next year!

As a garden center, this place is pretty ok with a good variety of plants each season. As a pumpkin patch/family attraction, it is now very over priced. This fall season (2012), they implemented an admission price for the play area. The play area is now incorporated into the Animal Land / Petting Zoo area with the admission price of $10/head for anyone over 1 year old. Infants under 1 are free. This does not include any rides. I cannot justify paying this price especially when I only have a 13 month old. Perhaps, when she is older and can be out the whole day, I will come here again, but not any time sooner.
