We had Geoff come by to give us an estimate on a complete tear off on our house and re shingle the detached garage. He was very polite and on time for the appointment. The quote we were given was in line with 5 others we had received from other companies. We ended up choosing Gilpin roofing due to them being on time as well as very professional. The crew showed up in the morning and were finished with the entire job well in advance of the deadline. The yard was cleaned up all throughout the day as well as the finishing cleanup. A magnet was run around the house to pick up any loose nails which may have fallen into yard. Geoff stopped by in the middle of the day to make sure all was going as planned so the job would continue to run smoothly.
I would recommend Gilpin Roofing for anyone needing new roofing. Extremely pleased with the outcome and look of then new roof.

I needed some repairs done on the side of my house. They offered a great price and the work itself didn't take any more than 15 minutes. Definitely going to be using them again in the future.

Gulpin replaced my roof and trim on my house. Old roof was removed (2 layers of shingles) and replaced with a new roof in one day. They installed a ridge vent, replaced all collars, and painted the plumbing vents to match the roof. Couldn t be happier with the results. Trim job had a few hiccups but everything was done to my liking. They even took down a section I didn t like to reworked it to my liking at no charge. I never had to pay until I was happy. Everything they said they would do was done. I would use them again.

Gilpin Roofing did my roof replacement yesterday and I couldn't be happier. Mr. Gilpin is a true expert, the price was right, and the whole install prcoess wentry very smoothly. I also own a construction business so I appreciate a great install. By the time I got back from work at 4:30, the whole job was done and my property was cleaned up exceptionally well. Gilpin roofing sent an estimator to my home who apparently thinks that owning a nicer home obligates one to paying three times the cost of service. I have another home nine miles away with a much higher, more slanted roof and I was only charge $250 for replacing twelve shingle tabs. Here at my rental property, it was only ten shingle tabs that needed replacing and on a much less slanted roof. I received three other estimates, the top being $425 and the lowest being $325. The estimators from the other companies actually went up on my roof, the Gilpin estimator never took his ladder off his truck and handed me an estimate of $845. I don't think so.

Three years ago I moved into a house that had been flipped. It had several roof and gutter issues that I didn't find out about until afterward, especially during every major rain or wind storm. I called Gilpin and they always responded quickly and were resonably priced. They always recommended just what I needed and nothing more. The technicians were always knowlegeable and worked quickly. Recently my son bought his first home and we saw some issues. I told him to call Gilpin. We had expert analysis quickly and a gutter solution was provided that will prevent further problems later on. Everything was taken care of quickly, professionally and was reasonably priced. He will now rely on Gilpin for any roofing and siding issue just like I do. I couldn't recommend anyone more highly.

A BIG branch fell on my garage after Isiasas came through. After speaking to my insurance company I was referred to Gilpin Roofing. Took over a week to get an appointment which was understandable due to everyone probably having damage from the storm. However the day of my appointment I received numerous calls to confirm and clarify my appointment as well as to tell me there was a $75 roof inspection fee. This was not told to me from the beginning as I did ask if there was a fee to come out and inspect for damages.

UPDATE: Owner Steve called to apologize he did not know the background of the situation and will come out to inspect for free. Very appreciative. Up'd my stars to 2. Will update again after appointment.

UPDATE: Owner, Steve came to the house to complete the inspection in a timely manner. He was very respectful and professional. He stated he would get the estimate to me this afternoon.

UPDATE: Steve was prompt and affordable. In the future if I needed them again I would call but would be sure to get ALL information upfront.

Wow, I was really in a tough spot a few weeks ago when I found that a section of roof behind my chimney was dangerously close to becoming a part of my den. Gilpin Roofing came out within 48 hours at NO COST and knew within minutes exactly what needed to be done. They worked with my schedule, showed up EXACTLY on time and spent the better part of the afternoon removing damaged joists and plywood. When it was done, the price was right and the new shingles were a seemless match to the others. All in all, it was so painless and straightforward..I will use this company each and every time I need this kind of work done and wouldn't stutter step for one second in recommending them to ANYONE. If you're on a budget and a time crunch, these guys will get you finished and satisfied in very short order.. Awesome job guys!!

Gilpin provided a competitive estimate and were very thorough with what would be done to complete the work on my roof. Following all the rain they were quick to work my house into their schedule. Once they were complete on the roof they had the area picked up and left the property clean. I did find an issue with a shingle (manufacturing problem) after they were complete and contacted Gilpin about my concerns. They had the issue taken care of the next day. I would recommend their business to friends and family.

Estimate was provided. I had a leak. They offered to just fix the leak or replace my 17 year old roof. I chose the replacement. 10 year warranty.
Arrived on time. Immediately started work and finished as estimated. Workers were professional. Only took a lunch break. Afterwards the cleanup was excellent. No trash left behind. Yard looks like they were never there.
No surprised charges. I had a total roof removal and replacement. All the wood was still in excellent condition.
I highly recommend this company.

Gilpin Roofing recently replaced roof on my dad s Florida room. They were very responsive and great to work with. The crew was excellent and very respectful of the property. My dad was very happy with the work.

I needed a minor but dangerous fascia repair. After calling a half dozen other places and talking to machines, I called Gilpin and actually talked to a human being and she was a very, very pleasant human being. After describing the job, they gave me an over the phone estimate. We quickly worked out the quote and 2 days later, two very nice young men showed up at my house and quickly completed my repair. Besides being very easy to work with, their price to complete the job was far lower than any other estimate I received. Nice people, very easy to work with and very professional. I will definitely call them first the next time I need any work done on my roof or siding.

Flagged down Geoff as he was leaving the home of a neighbor who's home Gilpin had just roofed (the 2nd on our street) and asked for an estimate. Super nice guy, very upfront and honest. I thought I had a leaky roof, but was unsure since it is fairly new (less than 4 years) and I called company after company, but none had availability for about two weeks. The scheduler wasn't sure if they could fit me in, but miraculously they came out that same day in between jobs on their lunch. It turns out that my roof was perfect, but I had a masonry issue. Tom even told me which spots needed to be fixed---very stand up guy! If I have another issue, I wouldn't hesitate to call them! Thanks!!

Just had roofs replaced by Gilpin Roofing at two different homes. If other contractors did business like this company, major home projects wouldn t be a dreaded stressful event. The office communicated with me, the crews were on time & worked until the jobs were finished, the workmanship was excellent and they did a great job on clean up. Anytime I called, never got an answering machine - even on the weekend. The guys were able to come out the same week as the estimate. Price was reasonable and the guys were fast and professional. Would hire them again.

We needed a roof replacement last summer and called about 4 different companies to get estimates. Although Gilpin was not the cheapest, they were not the most expensive either. From the moment we called to set up the estimate, we were impressed with how professional and straight forward they were. Steve, arrived for the estimate and gave us good information and also debunked information that other roofing companies gave us. A little research proved Steve true. The day of the install they arrived early, did an outstanding job and cleaned up well after themselves. We've been through more than a couple storms with wind gusts in the 50's &60'S since the install and the roof has held up without a problem and still looks like it was just installed. I'm not prone to writing reviews unless I find a company that goes above and beyond in service and product. Gilpin is one of those companies. Highly recommended.

As a retired construction project manager I can appreciate good workmanship. I found that Gilpin's roof mechanics were fast, efficient and did a quality installation for my home's new roof. The price was very competitive. I was impressed enough to hire them to install new facias, Soffits with new gutters and downspouts. When they came out to do this new work they discovered that they had vastly under-estimated the scope of work and under-priced the estimate by a pretty good amount. However, they insisted that they would stick by their proposal and would do the job even if it meant that they would lose money on the job. I was halfway expecting them to try to cut corners to minimize their loss, but found that they delivered a first-class job just as they had with the original re-roofing. Gilpin roofing is all about quality, service, flexibility and integrity. They also have a secret weapon behind the scenes named Tina, who is delightful.

The owner of the company Steve went to my property and stated that he will send his estimator to assess and give me an estimate. It has been over a month and no Gilpin roofing technician or Steve returned to make an estimate despite multiple phone calls I made and the company rep on the phone promised to get somebody to my property. Well, I guess they pick and choose who they wish to service. I am not sure why. Maybe because they found the property to a difficult one and they do not like the challenges or because of my looks. No matter how good the testimonies are (they usually pick only the good reviews), they way this company treated me is a non-starter. I will not recommend a company who chose to ignore customers based on how they like you or not.
