Wonderful place for walks and good views of London from hill
Beautiful park with ponds and open spaces. Great people watching. Adjacent to nice pubs and neighborhoods. A good way to take a break.
Great day out. There is a lot of signs saying not to cycle so it was a shame I had to walk my bike most places but it was really pretty and parliament hill us great this time of year. This is going to be a regular visit for me and the little zoo was really plesent. The lemurs came right up to the fence and all animals seem to be loving the weather. More refreshment places would be nice though!
Very beautiful park with an outstanding view and plenty of sports courts.
the view is beautiful! It is worth visiting this park!
A great day was had, beautiful view of the city. Plenty of trees for shade. Did find it quite hard to find Parliament view but can appreciate there'snot signs everywhere.
I visited Golders hill park with friend. We enjoyed the animals and birds. Not like a zoo but less animals. They were well looked after. The wild squirrels are friendly. We got lost in the wood although there were small trodden pathways that made it easier to find our way out. It is very picturesque at this park. We went to a flower garden near the cafe which was pretty. The cafe is open till 3pm.There are toilets. There is a playing ground with sand pit. There is alot of seating. The grounds are good for picnics. There is a butterfly house that is open till 3pm. It has many ponds with ducks.
I dont go by choice, too many dogs, but the circus is town. Use for parking for Royal Free Hospital
Very famous park which is huge. Been coming here for nearly thirty years. Found it always very clean. Peaceful harmony feeling whenever I visit. I often feel very relaxed and can have deep thoughts when I'm in this area. Happy feeling. Must visit if you can.
Nice Park that is good for swimming running or sunbathing
Great playground and wide open fields for young ones to expend energy!
Nice to walk around and find different sceneries. Went for fireworks this year and got a good enough view of a couple of displays. The gardens are lovely.
A natural oasis in the desert of development - a wonderful place to lose yourself for a few hours
You couldn t imagine that this place exist in London! Absolutely stunning
Natural park , open space over London great for kids dogs locals
Used the parking in the heath when going hospital. Little expensive 3.70 for 2 hours I think. Handy though.
Loved visiting this park, so many different pathways to go down. We found a secluded park bench to eat our lunch which was a nice escape from busy London.
Great
Place
Lovely place for a walk or take your children to the playground in Golders Hill Park
One of the best open spaces in London for walking, resting, pic-nicing, playing or just enjoying the views of London! So calming and good for the soul
Another place that I strongly recommend to go. It's a quiet place ( in a town like London you will appreciate it) with a kind of magic. Superb landscape in which you will a panoramic view of the center of London.
Was brought up here ,went to school here, met my 1st love here. It a special place to me
One of my favourite places in London. Lovely food available as well as good ice cream. Wonderful place for a picnic with children.
Great park for a walk with a dog, wide open spaces and a cafe to rest up after a long walk
One of my favourite places in London. A great park for every purpose. Nature is stunning here, I always recommend it to anyone who visits London.
Nice to have such a nice park. Try the lake for a swim in the summertime. It s nice and cool.
And they have lifeguards
Small park, good to bring young children. Good cafe with tasty food
I just can't beleive it's in the central part of London. Amazing place and refreshing views
Lovely and massive park where you can spend the whole day enjoying your time under the big trees and in a relaxing atmosphere. There's also an open swimming pool which is great in summer. Isaw some people swimming in the lake as well, but I'm not sure how good and clean the water is
Amazing park. Lots to see. Parliament hill are us great, with lovely city views. Farmers market is also a good one!
Graet place to train for hill and trail runs; clean changing rooms and showers at the Parliament Hill Athletics Track.
This is such a magical place. So beautiful and so peaceful. Was surprisingly quiet when we visited. Had a lovely romantic walk around and took in all the nature and sights. Would highly recommend to anyone who just wants to escape the busy city. Car park was a bit pricey.
Great park to escape from the city and maybe have a splash in the ponds
Beautiful park for a stroll with your baby or taking dogs for a walk if you have one
One of the most beautiful parks in London. You can easily get lot in the park, and be aware that depending on the phone, you might not have signal for a few minutes, enough to get lost. When meeting friends here it's best to set up to meet by one of the entrances, unless everyone knows the park well.
Perfect place for a stroll, take your dog for a walk, a picnic, take pictures, sports, swim in the ponds or in the Lido's pool.
Always the best and after such a great vista you go down to the village and get pissta.
Great park to have BBQ, walk your pets, go swimming in either the ladies or men's ponds. It's got great views of the city centre.
Amazing park with big green territory and lakes. Perfect for running or cycling. Or just for picnics
Nice but transport is limited to or from tube station, not great on a rainy day.
Green green green and even more green, and a few ponds too
Very natural jungle kind of huge park ,I really liked it ,enjoyed very well, but I must include one thing as a drawback that there is not any proper sign boards showing outing gates of the park,we lost in the park and after one hour we found our parking car area. Please put proper sign board in every way inside the park
Interesting walk and very much enjoyed Kenwood House
Beautiful park with beautiful surroundings, backs onto golders green park which has a cute mini zoo. If you get a chance to go to Hampstead heath look for the plantation gardens, they're stunning!
This place is huge and this is demonstrable from the number of tube stations which serve it. However, the East Finchley area which is home to Kenwood House, is phenomenal. The view of London from there is well worth it.
Public swimming is free - tails onto Kenwood, which too is absolutely stunning!
Been walking on Hampstead heath since I was very young. Beautiful place to chill, walk, clear your mind.
Beautiful place to visit and spend some quality time in nature
One of the best outdoor spaces in London, worth a walk if you can.
Been here several times, both with friends for picnics and individually for walks. It is such a great place to getaway from the busy roads and shops/restaurants. Any time of the year it is worth a visit (in good weather!) and there are plenty of woodlands, trees and benches, in addition to the Golders Hill Park Zoo and several bathing ponds. On the Parliament Hill Viewpoint, you can see an iconic view of London with all the well-known landmarks.
Kenwood House is located to the north of the Heath and there are plenty of different pathways to walk along. I visited on a crisp November day (between 1 and 4) so a decent time to get the best of the sunlight at this time of year.
I appreciated being able to get out on a Friday afternoon, especially in the current lockdown - it is an ideal afternoon break (2-3 hours is sufficient). I have posted several photos around the area, mostly in the sun :)
I love exploring the heath on quiet winter mornings. You can almost convince yourself you're not in the inner suburbs of a vast city.
Wild, yet beautiful. Awesome for walking. Great all over gentle cadio excercise.
Great nature, close to home. Huge parking space, not too expensive. Love it!
Hampstead Heath and surrounding areas are really worth a visit. There is something for everyone.
Make sure You visit Hampstead Butchers. An exceptional service and welcome is Guaranteed from Master Butcher Jason and His Staff
Wild and wonderful. I rather think of it as a forest than as a park.
Walk straight up the grass or take the path up the hill and enjoy the sun and views xx
Good park. Good views of the city. Easy to get to. Even has small woodland areas.
Best green space in London IMHO. So big, so many paths to wander. Then there's the best view of London I know from Parliament Hill. On top of that, you're never too far from a great pubs - the Spaniards Inn and the Bull and Last to name two of my favourites.
Pretty large park to walk around and enjoy the views. There is a viewpoint in the middle of the park where you can supposedly see the London cityline, but trees may block some of the views. It is atop a small hill so expect a bit of a hike.
To the east of the park are some bathing ponds that you can swim in for cheap. If you would like some cleaner swims, there is the Parliament Hill Lido south of the park.
One of my most favourite places to go ....love it .
Lovely walk through either rough terrain or the more civilised one , meaning clean paths.
It combines a good place to have a picnic or a good jog.
Loved it! I relaxed and it provides a good vibe to start or finish your working week..
As always a fabulous day of walking and seeing so much nature in the heart of London. I love this olace
