Lovely outdoor public space for long walks with family and friends
Best place on earth the park is amazing kenwood house serves best food & drinks
Big green space good for walking relaxing or dog walking.
Beautiful and interesting surroundings. Decent walks and great views of london from Parliament Hill.
Very nice place . I spent a good time fortunately I was alone . I hope that the next time I will make some friend
Amazing combination between forest and park, bridges crossing ponds, variety of birds, incredible trees with superb sceneraries and views of London Skyline from the top of Parlament Hill . It is ideal for running and walking routes if you want to be surrounded by beautiful nature. In the beginning of autumn the colours of the Heath are beyond beauty. It can be combined with a visit to Kenwood House that os alocated in the middle of the Heath (free entrance)
Amazing park which is almost like a woodland right in the heart of London!
The ladies bathing pond is AMAZING. As are the views from parliament hill
Lovely place to walk and chill out, lovely sights at the top of the hill but wouldn't go there at night!!!!
Great and chilled out water park as well as normal park/play area
Had a great lunch at Cafe(gorgeous view of the whole of London from the top of the Hill!) Rouge and walked down Swaines lane past the Cemetery..
Of course there are beautiful walks, wonderful trees, fantastic views, but the very best thing is the dog pond. Today an excitable, possessive boxer would not share her stick.
One of the Nicest and biggest park in London, easy reachable by train/overground.
From the highest part of the park you have an amazing view of London, make sure you come here when the sky is clear to enjoy it!
And you can't miss this park in the summer, it has 3 pounds you can swim in it :)
Lovely park, just far too many people for my liking!
Absolutely enormous park with rolling hills, tons of paths, trees and waterways. It's probably got one of the best views of the city too, but good luck finding them.
Hampstead Heath is the real thing: not a park, but a genuinely wild green area that covers many many acres - hills, fields, woods, streams, trees, birds. Ideal for long explorations and adventures. We are very fortunate to have such an open space in the middle of our city.
An amazing view and best place for people seeking peace and calmness
Parts of the Heath feel like you're in the countryside, not in a major city. Kenwood House is lovely, too.
Outstanding park. Enormous and not too crowded. Impressive for its quietness given that we are in the center of London.
Lovely walks and pubs on route would recommend to all who use.
Best park in London.... for the view and the walking paths... never too crowdy
Big park/forest with great views of the city of London
Love it, so many things to do. On a nice day best place for a walk
Great, really big park. There's lot to see and do, place to swim, nice playground for kids.
Hampstead Heath is famous for its expansive greenery, it's views from Parliament Hill and its swimming ponds.
I can't comment on the pools as we didn't take a dip, and the views from Parliament Hill are indeed worth the short climb, but the one thing that really made an impact on us was the size of the place. We got utterly, utterly lost here. Even armed with a vague online map we got completely turned around and ended up not even making it to Kenwood House or the animal enclosures as planned. This isn't a huge complaint as the scenery is so lush that it's pleasant simply walking around. However some signs or maps within the park would have made a HUGE difference to our experience.
Please note that the park, despite its size, is also very busy. Especially with dog walkers. We actually loved seeing all the different breeds but if you have allergies or don't like dogs this is not the place for you.
Finally, if you do one thing here make sure it's visiting the pergola. It's a beautiful piece of architecture with some stunning gardens in the surrounding area.
Beautiful little ponds in London City. A truly wonderful place to visit.
Great place for a picnic. Fantastic views of London
From my point of view best place here in london to take your dog for a walk.
Wonderful. The countryside near the centre of London. Great walking and fresh water swimming too.
Great views from here and large open space in the metropolis that is London.
I like parks. My son likes them too. Good play area.
I was born in the old Royal Free Hospital.. Great part of London.. Kenwood Park is a must visit place. Outdoor theatre in the summer.. For all the family....! Go have a picnic people..!!
Huge woodland park in North London with trees, bushes, pathways, grass, birds, ponds, benches, very nice relaxing place for walking, cycling and family picnics in Summer.
Moreover, there is a "ladies only" swimming pond (men not allowed).
Designated areas for dogs walking and cycling
Beautiful day, lovely walk in the park. Felt safe. Yeah!
Really large park. Great for a nice long walk, also sort of out of the big city.
Fur jogging, walking and even swimming, it s hard to beat this oasis in the city!
Fabulous natural wild beautiful area with Kenwood House
Yes this was great I used to go when I was young now I have gone with my eldest daughter and my granddaughter which was very lovely , my only gripe was there is limited toilets available and the only one we found was in very bad condition. But other than that I would come again defo!!!
Amazing place for kids. My kids nd nephew nd neices enjoyed themselves in the paddling pool nd the park. We spent nearly half a day there.
Beautiful sights, Londoners are lucky to have this.
Fantastic swimming ponds to enjoy whatever the weather with changing rooms, life guard and mixed or single sex swimming
Popped there for a break on my motorcycle. Lovely area.
Lovely park I wish they didn't spray chemicals to stop the liberty caps from growing. Or we could have a literal field day.
Very peaceful and beautiful only problem is parking, go by train it is a lot easier! other than that great day out
Beautiful place. Sadly you may encounter a perve or a body on occasion.
Feels like your in the countryside and not in the middle of London. Great place to walk the dog and have a coffee
KENWOOD HOUSE, 17th century
Country house set on the edge of Hampstead Heath.
One of my favourite parks in London. Awesome for walks.
Nice walk but the pond not very nice look to look at
Good for a walk-around, leisure, taking your mind off the daily bits and bobs.
Huge open park in London, so many different spaces, open areas for picnic, sports, walking under cover of the trees and shade. There are ponds and pools to take a swim in too. Lovely place.
Boasts some of the best views in London and includes the men's/women's/mixed ponds for swimming. Wonderful place to head for a good stroll.
Beautiful place far away from London to view all of the centre, but close enough to see it from Parliament Hill. The northern parts are more untamed, but not really wild. Great for trail running and jogging and also just walking around. Take care to read the special bylaws on the homepage.
If you want to feel like you are not in london -go to the Heath! The parliament hill will give you the best view of london ! Kenwood House in early summer is a must place to visit for amazing blooms ! There are ponds for swimming , paths for running, meadows for picnicking and it is truly massive !
My favourite place to go to. Pergola Gardens which is inside West Heath is a must specially this spring and summer. Hopefully they can clean up West Heath of used tissue paper, condoms and syringes left by those trying an adventure at night.
Nice park, lack of care by the council in some places, end of May and the grass still needs cutting. No free parking anywhere around the park
One of my favourite spots in London whenever I need a break from the craziness of the city life.
So peaceful and full of life during the summer!
Nice spot for a walk. Great views of London from parliament hill.
Lovely curated wild forest turned garden, the Pergola is perfectly manicured and the amenities spot on. Great escape
A huge park or a forest i could tell with many big trees streams and ponds. Many routs to walk or bicycle. Fresh air and cool climate. There are toilets and potable water fountain. Great place for exercise, running, hiking, relaxing. Approximately 15 minutes from the underground by foot. There are some cafe restaurants nearby the area and it's a great place for groups too. Explore it.
There are so many parts to the Heath, it has something for all ages, a fav place to spend a sunny afternoon
Lived in London 8 years. This is one of my favorite parks by far. If it's summer and you're feeling bold, go for a swim in the seimming area there too!
