Don t waste a spring, summer or autumn without a trip to this wonderful place. It s the most peaceful park in london at times, so much to explore and enjoy.

Lovely place to breath some fresh air, relax and swim bit crowded!
The best park in London, good approach from the tube and overground, lovely wild nature, you can even swim in one of the many natural lakes.
A very beautiful, wild park. One of the best in London.
Lovely, great amount of space, excellent place for kids to meet and run around and for adults to picnic
The heath is truly magical. It is natural land located by Hampstead. It has a ton of trails and is perfect for walking dogs. There is also some reserved spaces for kids recreation. The heath is very large and features incredible views of London from some of its highest points. There are also a mass of lakes and ponds.
Lovely peaceful midweek pause 63 stunning original paintings hanging throughout the house
I walked here a fee times and have taken different routes. My only advice is pack a lunch if you are on a budget as local shops ate very pricey... 9 pounds for a sandwich from s local shop near the overground. It tasted nice but overpriced.
Fabulous views and walks in this beautiful green space. Great cafe for a light meal or cake and coffee at Parly Hill
It's a very large park. You can walk through it for hours on end. Worth a walk on a breezy day.
Hampstead Heath is one of the most remarkable places in London. A large area of heathland, parks and woods just on the edge of the city. I have visited 'the heath' since i was a small child and feel so privileged to have access to it. My tips are: swimming in the ponds in the summer, a visit to the pergola and a walk through the butterfly house in Golders Hill Park in summer.
It's Hampstead Heath. What more do you need to know. It is quite literally The Heath.
Amazing place right in London. Very lucky to be near place like this.
Beautiful
Great place to meet friends, just don't stay around Hampstead when it's dark
Unbelievably beautiful area and breathtaking views. Perfect for a stroll. Huge picnic area but not full of people. Toilet and coffee available on the site. Amazing views over London skyline. Nature there was stunning. I recommend not to miss this lovely spot on the London's map.
Wonderful open space. Lucky to have this on my door step.
Really nice park lots of benches by the 2 massive lakes I like sitting here for my lunch when I'm working in the area.. one thing to keep in mind if you have small kids. there are a lots of dogs off the leads over here so just be mindful of dogs and other kids.
It's a massive lovely green space in a capital city.
Very nice park to quietly enjoy the day with Plenty of long walks
Amazing place, to walk, run or to do a nice picnic. Enjoy and relax!!
Great place for a walk or picnic. Beautiful areas and lakes for bathing.
Big green lungs in the middle of the concrete jungle. A jam: a little bit outside of the park there is a mini forest , no grass but huge trees, perfect for walking with you dog
Hampstead park run on Saturday morning are great - beautiful views, and lots of nature to be discovered. Also good for casual strolls
It's impossible not to love. Large park with beautiful pounds and lots of walks through the trees.
I have walked around the heath many times and can still get lost. Ponds are great and it has a rustic feel. The overground is nearby as are lots of cafes. People come here to walk their dogs, have picnics and enjoy lively sunny days
A beautiful place for family picnics. Dogs can have non restricted play space. You can go swimming if you remembered to go with your swim suit. You get closer to nature with fresh air. Lots to see. Endlessly walking distances.
best park in london, where you can even have a walk with your sheep. if you have one!
Lovely park but bathing ponds can be full most times so plan well ahead!
Great place to unwind from the city, and so close to central London!
Amazing gardens. Can't believe it's free. Go on a week day if you want to escape the city.
Was at the gay cruising ground in the afternoon, so things were quiet. At least I caught some sun.
Best family park in london
Lots of animals, especially lovely deers to watch!
Clean and so nice!
Beautiful well looked after park with plenty for everyone swimming fishing rc boats... the list goes on.
A complete delight. On a good day the views are surreal.
What's not to love. Simply the best open space in London. A nice, long walk around here is a great antidote to the pressures of modern life in London.
Wonder park, I love that they did not overdone the gardening and landscaping and just left it as it is, but you can still feel the careful caretaking.
Incredibly popular with Londoners and tourists alike, Hampstead Heath is a fabulous place for a walk, a picnic, lunch or afternoon tea (in the restaurant) and is a dog walkers paradise. Kenwood House is a beautiful building and of historic interest. In it's immediate grounds, there is a lake, park land for picnics, a restaurant and restrooms along with a area where music concerts often take place. The heath covers a large area and has hilly areas for a ramble or a nature walk or you can follow a path around the lakes where people often go for a top in the week weather. On the south side of the park is a second restaurant, rest rooms, children's park and tennis courts. If you love taking photos, this is an ideal location. If you love dogs, you are most likely to see all breeds, large and small. A great day out. Five big beautiful stars.
Fantastic place. Take a day off and walk around...all over. Stop by for a pint either at The Garden Gate Pub or The Spaniards
My favourite park in London. Big enough to not be boring, with lido, swimming ponds, several view points and lots of dogs.
Went to the brew house cafe and was very disappointed with the food. selections were not great but over priced. The hot dishes were kept warm on a heated surface, so the salmon fillet i have which set on top of a veg / potato mash was just luke warm. roast potatoes as a side veg were dried and hard.
Nice mix of heath, hills, for walking. Wish it allowed more cycling though.
beautiful hampstead, moved in the are recently and loving it
Perfect to while away a sunny afternoon. There s a playground, a small zoo, tennis courts, tiny lakes. It s a beautiful place even just to walk through! It s definitely a very popular spot for runners. I have run here for some time now with my running club and it s truly lovely to be able to get away from the concrete jungle and take in the quiet and the clean air. You could almost forget you are in London :)
one of the best spots to chill out in northern london! refreshing swimming ponds, gras field to relax, on hot days chilled areas in the woods
Amazing outdoor space. Great for kids, dogs etc. lovely scenic views of London. Fantastic pubs about as you would expect! Do yourself a favour and pay The Heath a visit
I love and adore this., nice and quite to talk to nature.
Great place for walking. Sightseeing. And nature.
Big views over London.
It is a very nice place to find tranquility in a beautiful great city like London
Beautiful place it is a very nice walk. Kids will love it.
Lovely park, great views over London and lots of places to relax in the sun.
Such a beautiful park in central London. Used to go there for a run in the morning, very hilly.
One of London's treasures. Beautiful parkland and ponds.
