Been overcharged to what i have seen on meter. Contacted customer care they never replied me back yet. Advice: Finalise your journey after reaching destination you will be charged what you travelled. Otherwise you will be surprised like me.

Taxi booked..at 8.42 my phone was automatically telephoned to say they had not allocated a cab...it was on charge so saw at 8.45...result no taxi...missed train...day totally messed up...these guys are hopeless
I ordered a taxi over 24 hours in advance May 2021. When it came to time of pick up I received a message to say the driver cancelled the job. I waited whilst the app scanned for more drivers but none were to be found. The office phoned but could not hear anyone on the line. They then text to say they could look for another driver which would take 40 minutes!!!
I then had to phone around and try and find a local taxi service whilst panicking that I would be late for my appointment. Thankfully it is not an appointment I would be charged for being late for.
The service is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I would never use Gett again.
Customer services is a joke. I'm due a refund for a ride and so far two agents have said they refunded the ride, but I've received nothing. I don't usually have any problems with them, but won't be using them again until I get a refund. Better off to use Ad Lee. Same price but 10x more professional.
When I told them a driver didn't wear a mask, they said the following and refused to give a refund:
"I have spoken with the driver who admitted to not wearing a mask as he did not know that it is required by law. I have explained to him that he must wear a mask from now on. I am going to escalate this matter to our Drivers Discipline team"
I asked for customer service, about a lost object. They said there was no report, however gave me some further instructions which were unclear. I have asked for clarification to which they just closed my case, which was somewhat disrespectful.
I downloaded this app as I'd heard them recommended for getting to the hospital when my wife goes into labour (friendly, plenty of space and upright seating). When the time came I opened the app, it told me that there were lots of taxis within 4 minutes of me. It knew my location ad I entered the hospital as the destination. It recognised the hospital in the auto menu but would not let me select it I tried several times, including closing the app and re-starting it. This was not a necessity, though, and I opted to proceed without destination. It started searching and after a wait of several minutes (felt a lot longer with a contracting wife beside me!) it told me that there were no taxis available. This despite the graphic showing about ten taxis close to me. I tried four times but had to give up. We ordered an Uber which arrived within three minutes and took us straight there in a Ford Galaxy (plenty of space and an upright seat!).
On my way home to collect the car I decided to give them a second chance and this time the app recognised my destination address and let me select it. The driver arrived as I was in my way down to him and called to say he was there. I told him I was on my way down and arrived within a minute of our phone call. He was pleasant and friendly but afterwards I discovered that he had charged me waiting time which the app specified would not be added for a wait of under 2 minutes.
Awful awful service. If you want a reliable service - go with Uber or hail a black cab. They are painfully unreliable (they really struggle to get cabs on time / at all) and their customer service is shambolic, rude or non existent at best. Even as a corporate user - they are frustratingly slow and unprofessional. Don't risk meetings, simply ever getting from A to B - or your sanity: go with someone else. Or better yet, walk - you're guaranteed to get there faster most times.
I emailed three times with no response and when I did finally get through, my issue was not even dealt with completely. Really horrible customer experience. Was charged way more than I was quoted and all they gave me was a coupon code which I don't want. I just want my money back. Really will never use this company again if this is the response I'm getting.

I have had some very good experiences with Gett taxis and some very poor experiences. For example, last night I booked a taxi for 7.45 am today, giving 14 hours notice. Today I had a message at 7.45 to say the taxi had been ordered and the arrival time would be nearer to 8am. I had booked the time for a reason in advance and given notice - so this was very poor service from Gett.
Beware. It's a lot more expensive than your local private Taxi service because black cabs aren't usually that cheap and then you are paying gett on top of your taxi fare.
Another thing worth noting is that if you put the exact destination, gett app gives you a fixed price which is usually higher than the meter cost just in case there are road blocks or congestion. That fixed price does go up which I learnt recently as the taxi driver took the longer route so there is no such thing as fixed price promise My honest advice, use uber or your private taxi service. I know these private companies are putting black cabs out of business but then private companies are more affordable. Use your free credit with gett for short journeys and then delete the app and use your local private taxi company.
I use the app everyday until we had a problem today. Contacted customer service and hot connected to the rudest most arrogant person. He even suggested i shouldnt use the app again. Great drivers, rude customer service. Deserves to be boycotted. I will not use them again (there are other black cab apps)

The taxi arrived quickly. But I was charged a 5% tip without even knowing that I would be charged this amount. This is not reasonable or transparent and is why I will not use Gett again.
I came across a few times the offered quote was 10%-20% more than the paymeter AND the cab driver charged more than the paymeter. WHO IS REGULATING THIS?
I thought this app was for the ordering of black cabs only so disappointed that they are promoting Porsche which are basically uber in disguise ....shame on you gett for not fully promoting black cabs only as they are the best ....i will be using my taxi from now on to order the black cab ....
Loving this app so far, I prefer black cabs when travelling within London and this app does the trick neatly even auto emailing the receipt after the journey. So far no issues with waiting times for cabs or the app failing. I will continue to use it. Uber maybe cheap but that is what you get in return - a clueless driver relying on GPS, which us London residents know can be confusing at the best of times especially when you need to get around busy traffic.
Ive taken more than 50 journeys through Gett and have finally given up I) They continually materially / fradulently lie about ETAs - last weekend i had a taxi that would have had to average almost 80mph through central london to arrive on time. I dont mind waiting - i do mind being lied to repeatedly II) Their customer service is a disaster. Last weekend i cancelled a taxi that was updated to being 10mins away and ordered a new closer one. It is quite an achivement to take the world's best taxi service and combine it with such a poor level of technology and customer service that you would rather use Uber. Congrtulations Gett
The only way to contact them via their website is to message them through the app or to call. If I do not want to call then I have no options if I do not want to or cannot access the app. How is that for closed off customer service?
A terrible service. What is the point of booking a cab to take you to the station at a particular time in the future ( in my case the following morning ) if all the app does is to start searching for a taxi ...5 minutes before its should be arriving. They don't tell you that when you book a cab, it doesn't mean that one will come. In my case, there was " no cab " in the area ... So after 5 minutes it just cancelled the request leaving me high and dry. So at 6.25am I was desperately trying to find another way of catching my train.Hopeless!
Appaling service. We relied on the cab to catch our train to the airport and Gett cancelled the booking 5 minutes (!!!) before the agreed pick up time. Completely unacceptable service. Won't be using it again.
Shocking shocking service. I waited for 55 minutes for a cab after I was told the cab would arrive in15 minutes max. In that period of time I rang three times. On the first call I was told the driver was 4-5 minutes away. Great I can wait that, I think. 15 mins later and no cab. On the second call, I'm told 8 minutes away (remarkable that the wait time has now gone up) so I'll wait. No show, unsurprisingly. On the third call, after 50 minutes, I'm put on hold while Gett contact the driver. They revert to say he is busy and can't make it. Utterly utterly terrible. Is it any wonder Uber are now so popular. Radio Cabs used to be decent. Since Gett swallowed it the Gett / Radio Cab service has gone to the dogs.
According to Google Maps, Gett especially in the Greater London area is comming up at least 25% more expensive than Uber. How are people supposed to use the service, if there more expensive? Surely they should be price matching at the least.

Booked a taxi to collect us from the theatre. The app gave a wait time of 10 minutes which was fair enough. Decided to use Gett for the first time as we had a discount for being a new customer. There were plenty of cabs waiting outside the theatre but we hung on for our driver. 10 mins turned into 20. The cab finally appeared but drove right past us despite us trying to attract the attention of the driver. He also ignored our phone calls. By then getting another taxi was hopeless. Nice service Gett. Thanks a bunch.
Will religiously not use this service. Bad customer service that consistently blame me rather than the cab driver. And guess what black cab drivers have a chip on their shoulder and are rude... Uber all the way.

Great company, Excellent service, always treat customers with respect, Gett is working wonders for the black cab industry.. Quality of service that gett have provided me as a customer is always spot on. My cabs have always been on time and i have never had any issues. Thank you gett!
Thought this was a great app to support black cabs, however my pre-booked taxi did not show up in the early morning. When I ordered a new one, I had to wait in the cold for over 25 minutes. They also have no environmental policy in promoting electric or less polluting vehicles. Priced at a premium. Sadly, not a fan. Deleted.
What a scam. My pre-booked taxi for a critical journey simply failed to arrive. This has only happened with Gett. The app suggested a taxi was being hailed and none responded i.e. none was in fact assigned when I pre booked. The app did not allow a call to customer services without cancelling the journey and when I did the telephone number was hidden and email only button enabled. Despite this the company advertise a 24 hour customer service center. When I emailed the automated response promised a response within 24 hours but I am not holding my breath. A poor excuse for customer service. DO NOT PRE BOOK or rely on if your journey is an important one.
