I have been searching for a toyota camry for couple of months. With that being said, I went to Germain Toyota of columbus to see their used vehicles, and spoke with omar jackson, an excellent, friendly, and honest salesman who showed empathy, and grace with the car buying process. Upon working with omar, and my financial situation, he helped me pick the best camry within my price range. Even then, that process was seamless, and professional staff in the Finance Dept. Specially Asher Puri hands down the best finance manager I have seen. Asher Puri has a great sense of humor. He helped me finance my car at a great rate than anyone could. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE COMBO OF ASHER PURI AS A FINANCER AND OMAR JACKSON AS THE SALES PERSON.

I am glad I settled with Germain Toyota and its two greatest staff members Asher and Omar and I plan to get help from them for my next purchase.

We started looking for a new 4Runner late last year and after a few conversations with a couple different dealerships and salesmen, we knew Sean Kraft at Germain Toyota would be the one. Not only did he wait patiently for half a year--keeping us posted and answering all questions--but he always made sure we got what we wanted and acted promptly without being excessively insistent. Sean is definitely not the typical car salesman, but that's exactly why we will be coming back to him for future purchases. His attitude, optimism, and overall quality were what defined and made the experience all the more worthwhile. Highly, highly recommend!

I have been waiting a week to pick up my car I leased to drive with Uber. A 14.000 dollar car if I keep it will cost me 24,000! There is a 10,000 dollar charge fo rleasing this way but I figured with my credit only way to get car. So someone is making a lot of money but Amanda who does the Uber lease will not return my calls. I already paid for the insurance on the car and of course her boss is never available! Worse customer service I have ever experienced!

I had never gotten my loan paperwork in the mail, and contacted Germain, only to be told they had messed it up . They d written my paperwork all wrong.
They had also had my loan provider wrong on the paperwork, and i was lucky i had my original paperwork with me, because i had to show it to them.
I also had to get new tags because my memo title was wrong.
What if i was pulled over? Or something happened? Everything was wrong. This should have been caught when i tried calling weeks ago. Nobody answers their phone. Nobody wanted to do anything. When i asked when it wasn t caught, they said, oh, well, they just caught it yesterday. Days before my payment is due???? They only caught it because i called, and they finally answered the phone.
I don t even know what to say at this point. The whole time i felt like i was wrong for being upset because oh, the system did it. But you guys were quick to ask me for my next car payment!

Amanda Lobach handled my purchase with excellence. I'm from Detroit, Michigan and she was even prepared to personally drive/deliver my car to me. I spent very little time at the dealership because she took care of everything before I even made the trip to pick the car up. She kept me up to speed all the way even though I was buying a used vehicle. I'm grateful for the excellent service and would strongly recommend Amanda and Germain Toyota of Columbus to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.

Usually friendly staff and good service... except ...

Usually friendly staff and good service... except for our last visit. Miscommunication and laziness from one of the service techs. We went to pick up my parents' car who just moved to Columbus the day before. It had snowed a lot and there was about 4" of snow on the parked vehicle. We asked to borrow an ice scraper/brush to clean the car. One guy was super nice and offered to take care of it and told us to wait in the waiting room. He gave the keys to one of the techs. We waited 10 mins and saw only the windshield and driver side windows were cleared, no one in sight. We had to walk into the restricted garage area to hunt the tech down for the keys and he told us it was left in the vehicle running and the snow clearing was done... but only to half the car, and no one came back to tell us while we waited. I cleaned the rest of the car off with my bare hands. For a service tech, he should know better than to leave a full hatchback window and passenger side windows completed obstructed by snow and call it "done".

We had a fantastic experience today buying a new truck. We were greeted right away by a very friendly person. Then referred to Ashiq to help us with the sales process. He was thorough, patient, and attentive. After visiting several dealers who were such a disappointment Ashiq was refreshing to work with. He has a great attitude! He listened to all of our wants and needs and found us the perfect fit for our budget as well as something that looks great! He was smiling and personable. The finance part took FOREVER and as with any dealership they insisted on pushing their options. I would give that part 3 stars because we had to say no thank you at least 4 times. It got annoying. However, Luke was just doing his job and I can appreciate that. We were very clear we weren t taking any of it. **great extra products - just not for us. I would highly recommend Ashiq in new car sales. I would recommend this dealer. Just allow a few hours if you re ready to buy ... and hopefully yours won t take so long. Big thumbs up!

I've been part of the Germain Toyota family for years and I've had the privilege of helping other friends and family connect with them for new or used vehicles and their service department as well. I have always been treated like family and everything I've needed has been taken care of personally and professionally. If you need a new or used vehicle, they are a hard dealership to beat, and the same is true of their service department. I recommend you visit their website or go in-person for your automotive needs.

I bought my my Venza at Germain and since that first sale I cannot lie, I am a big proponent of shopping around but my friend and salesperson Norm Oribello has always made buying a car easy and exciting. I can't imagine going anywhere else. The combination of Toyota and great staff I feel secure and satisfied. SInce the Venza, I have went on to buy a Tundra and Avalon.
update: After four vehicles I was met with being ignored and passed down by the general mgr Rich Newsome, Rich would not return my calls and when I went to the dealership he used Buddy Travis as the go between which also lied to me. Even my salesperson was told by Rich not to speak to me. I bought a truck and the finance mgr Luke Eastwood made mistakes that was not corrected for over three months. Did he call and explain no did he email me and ask me to come back in NO I happen to be in the dealership buying running boards when I passed Luke in the bathroom and said hello. At this point he made me aware there was a problem. Please use one of the other dealerships around and check the BB before you commit. I will give credit where its due. The service department Teresa WIlson and Billy Blanton are top notch and the only reason I would cross the threshold of this dealership. Beware of the mgrs of this dealership they are snakes.

I called Donna one of the representatives for Germain Toyota for a price quote First specific procedure that needed to be done she was unfamiliar with the materials and the pricing I had her check with service manager I was quoted a price for the work to be done after they had started the work I was called by a second person by the name of Teresa Wilson the service manager she quoted a different price but had already started work on the car at this point I decided to call back the original sales person who I spoke with Donna who indicated to me she would get to the bottom of what the discrepancy was and call me back that would she never did... I waited an additional day with no contact from the dealership but when they finally did call back the price was double what the original quote was so then I decided to call the general manager mr. Newsome he is the general manager at the establishment he never returned my call... so Donna and Teresa also mr. Newsome general manager of Germain Toyota Scarborough Boulevard are not concerned with standing by what they say when they tell you something on the phone nor return phone calls to dissatisfied customers to help them to get resolution with their problem I give them to stars out of hand for customer service

I found my car online, called in to Germain Toyota and Tanesha Dixon was the one that answered the phone. I am so thankful we got connected to her! From the very beginning she was so easy and comfortable to work with. I texted and called her for days with tons of questions. She always quickly and happily responded and really helped me every step of the way. On the night we finalized all the paper work she stayed well after they closed to make sure I was taken care of. I will definitely recommend to all my friends and family to go see her for any car buying needs.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I have Been looking for a car did several months and found the model, trim, mileage, etc. I wanted At Germaine. I live a little over two hours away and wanted to make sure that the car would still be on the lot at the time of arrival. I was Told Friday after close that the car would be held for me Saturday morning until my appointment. Upon walking in for my appointment I was Told the car had just sold. While I understand A dealer is in the business of selling cars, it was very poor service.

Everyone I incountered here was great. I applied online and by time I drive from Cincinnati to Columbus after work they were minutes from closing. I felt terrible but they never made me feel bad for a second. They took great care of me and sent me on my way in the car I had been dreaming about. I will definitely refer friends and family in the future.

He didn't talk over my head and he wasn't aggressive in explaining to me the maintenance (repairs) I needed for my car. I got the recommended repairs and was a happy customer when I left.

Speical thanks to Brady (salesman) and Demetris (financing) for the wonderful help.We honestly have zero complaints, everybody wad nice, helpful and friendly. We checked out other dealerships around Columbus and thought Germain should know that they were the best one that weve dealt with this past month. So far I love my new car! (Purchased it today)
Update.. I put a call into Brady the day after we purchase our car and have yet to receive a call back. So I called and spoke with somebody else who said Brady would mail out a manual that I requested, I have not received it either. Wondering if Germain stands behind their logo.

Knowing of past great experiences and satisfactions' with both sales and service it took be by surprise when I did have issues. I had the absolute pleasure dealing with Veronica. I went there specifically to look at a certain used vehicle, but it turned out to be something that didn't fit my needs. Veronica informed of some manufacturer deals that Toyota was having and found exactly what I needed. She made my car shopping experience one of the best I have ever had. She never gave up and held a professional and caring attitude through the whole process. I now own a brand new car that fits all of my needs, and it was solely because of Veronica and her professional attitude. Pleases don't hesitate to do business with Germain Toyota. Initially the experience wasn't too bad outside of the usual high pressure sale stuff. My issue was that a condition I had to buy the car was that they fix something that was rattling around under the hood. They said they would call me soon to schedule an appointment to do that. After a week or so I brought it up to someone and they apologized and said that they'll make sure it happens. No call came and I had to have a mechanic do it. Basically, don't trust verbal promises they give you; get it in writing.

I walked in on Friday to look into buying a Chevy spark, Things did not turn out the way I planned so I looked at other options and completely fell inlove with a Scion xD. Tanesha was amazing! She brought me coffee as we filled the paper work out, We talked Alot which help calmed me down... She gave me steps in the right direction on gap insurance etc..( I am a first time buyer) so I was completely new to this! They are always friendly, timely, and I have never once felt that I was being lied to or pressured to have repairs done that weren't necessary. Very trustworthy and they keep my car running like brand new. Fair pricing and honest work.

If I could give less than one star - I would. This process has been one of the biggest headaches I've ever had to deal with purchasing a car. Initially, our visit wasn't bad besides the high pressure sales experience. We worked out the deal with the salesman and then met with the Finance Manager, Asher. We ended up finding out that our credit report was run (even though we told them numerous times we were preapproved with our credit union (U1CU) and weren't interested in shopping for a better rate) and we had never authorized it. Asher preceded to let us believe we were signing paperwork with U1CU and we drove home with the car. Found out the next day that wasn't the case (application was denied because of the way it was submitted) and I returned the car to the dealership because of it. I've since been contacting all the companies to try and have the hard inquiries removed from our credit report.

I received an email with a coupon for an oil chang...

I received an email with a coupon for an oil change from the Germain service department so I decided to take advantage of the offer. I scheduled an appointment quickly over the phone and when I arrived I was greeted by the service personel. My service advisor let me know that although the coupon I intended to use wasn t valid for my vehicle, (it was for conventional oil and my Sienna uses synthetic) she would be willing to net the discount for the more expensive oil change. She then directed me to the customer lounge which was very clean and comfortable, there was coffee, water, and snacks available. While I was waiting my service advisor came out and let me know I was due for a 60k service and a new cabin air filter, she wasn t pushy at all when I declined the 60k service, and let me know they would be finished shortly. While I waited for my service to be completed I was greeted by the service manager who simply wanted to ensure I had everything I needed. I was in and out within an hour and they even washed my car! Suffice to say I m not the kind of person who generally gets service at the dealership, but I did feel a higher level of quality and customer service at Germain than I ever have at my usually quick lube place in the past. I will continue to shop for and purchase my vehicles at Germain and I will keep them in mind for service in the future.

I had a grand experience while looking for my new vehicle. I am not someone who buys a new vehicle every few years. I keep mine until the death. So when My old clunker finally died I went to Several dealerships near my work. I ended up at Germain Toyota and Purchased a RAV4. I had a great experience and can not believe how many features my new car is equipt with. My salesman Tom Lombardo spent so much time going over all the gadgets in my car with me and even paired my phone! There are so many features I never would have known about if it wasn't for my salesman actually caring and taking the time to teach me everything about my new car!

I was talking with Germain Toyota about purchasing a car they had on their website. I had been talking with one of their used car salesman for a few days and come to find out the dealership let their manager drive it home knowing that someone was going to make the almost 4 hour trip to come buy the car. I was even willing to pay a deposit to hold the car until we were able to get there, but they said they don't allow that. The salesman said that they would call me back in the morning to let me know what was going on. I never received a call back, so I called and they sold it to the manager. I don't know what kind of ethics this dealership has leading someone on to buy a car only to sell it to one of their own employees. I definitely won't waste my time again talking with this dealership about purchasing a car in the future.

My mother had a coupon for a simple oil change with filter. They told her that her battery needed cleaning. When she got this additional service the car didn't start. They jumped it for her and said for her to call them if she had any problems. They didn't even ask her if she wanted to purchase another battery. When she returned home and shut off the engine it wouldn't start. The voltage dropped from 12volts to 5 volts. I called them about this and they told me the service manager was busy and would call me back. Still haven't heard from anyone at Germain Toyota. If this is the type of service you can expect from a so called reputable auto dealer/service, then I will that my business someplace else. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I bought my first Toyota (Prius) from Germain Toyota and they kept it running well for 13 years (240,000 miles). Of course when it was time to replace the car with an SUV, I bought my RAV4 from them too (last March). I bring it in every 5,000 miles and they take really good care of my vehicle and me on every visit. I'm at 35,000 miles ion one year and that RAV4 is great!

This dealer made me feel so cheated, insulted, humiliated, and helpless at the same time which I never felt with any other car dealers in my entire life. We talk to this sales person name Kenny Adelaja, and we wanted to trade our vehicle. This man first, offer me a trade value that is far from fair before, I agree to trade my vehicle and gave my consent they called my bank which I am financing for my current vehicle. When i ask for fair trade value, they wanted to run my credit score which I know for sure they did not require to do. I did not wanted them to run my credit with out us coming to an agreenet of good trade in vale, therefore, I said no to this. So, I ask for estimator sheet, and they refuse to give me that too. When we wanted to get out of there manager name Adam Castin came in, and we explain our dissatisfaction. even he treat us badly like we don't matter, and told us to leave in very rude and uncaring manner.

Worked with Joselyn today 8/8/20 at Germain Toyota on Scarborough-she made sure the process was seamless. I do want to add that I only made the choice to come here because I felt like Joselyn made an extra effort to get me in here and get me the best bang for my buck (she beat 3 other dealers I went to ). Upon arrival, she was very friendly and had me in and out the door quickly when I was expecting to be there for at least two hours. I also interacted with a couple other employees there and everyone was always checking to see if I was taken care of! Thanks for helping me and making me feel comfortable!

Buying a car can give you that uncomfortable itchy feeling. You are spending so much money for something that depreciates the minute you drive it off the lot. The customer service at a dealership is something that has helped me in the past with feeling better about buying a car. The experience I had at this dealership did not make me feel good about buying a car. Through several visits and phone calls, I was extremely uncomfortable about buying a car from this dealership. Why did we end up buying... because they were the only dealership that had the exact car we wanted within a 200 mile radius. I will never settle for a bad dealership just to get the perfect car ever again. I will never return for service, leasing or purchasing from Germain Toyota in the future.

I purchased an SUV earlier in 2018 from Germain and it was an amazing experience. Due to that experience, I returned to purchase a second vehicle in Oct 2018; totally opposite experience. The preowned sales manager had not one ounce of customer service in her body. She made no attempt to negotiate with my wife and I, regardless of us being loyal customers. I drove to Toyota Direct the same day and purchased the exact same car with Toyota certification included for a much better price and most importantly, Friendlier Customer Service.
Germain has officially lost a long line of Toyota owners and referrals. Toyota s are the only vehicles we purchase.

Where do I start? So I purchased a used Lexus from this dealership last week. The car ran well and every feature I tried worked fine. This is the first car I purchased in 10 years so there has been a lot more new feature on this vehicle, which I m wasn t aware of. I purchased the car on one day and picked it up the next day. I was told the car would be washed the day I bought it. When I came in the next day the car wasn t washed. That, was the first thing I did after picking up the car. The car had no front floor mates. The car had no vehicle manual and when I asked about it they said oh, that stuff is online now . This model car has a key and key fob for the car. I only received one key fob without the actual key. When I asked about a spare key they said I would have to buy a spare. Now, having the vehicle for the week I ve noticed the trunk doesn t work with the key fob so that something that has to be addressed. The only positive think I can say about them is at least they were nice. My biggest issue with all of this is according to their website, which I checked before I went to look at the vehicle, they had the vehicle for 40 days and couldn t have any of those issues resolved: Key and spare key, front floor mates, vehicle manual, trunk functionality and the day of pickup washing the car. These are all basic thing and if they can t do these, what can they do. Now I m taking the vehicle to Gemain Lexus at Easton for a $400 spare key and maybe fix the trunk or tell my why it isn t working. I was able to find a manual online but these are all things that a dealership should do when preparing a vehicle to be purchase. I definitely won t be going back there to buy anything.

We are a fan of Toyota's and this dealership. However today was one of the worse representations of professionalism my husband & I have experienced. The sales persons initial welcome was unwelcoming. He never showed interest in our needs even though we explained them more than once. His comments were rude and belittling. We test drove a car that truly interested us, but due to his character and unwillingness to assist we chose to leave. His last comment was "that's cool" then never shook our hand or thanked us for even stopping in. I am in sales just like he, NOT good.
