REGARDING THEIR STADIUM AND ALLSTON APTS:
This place is truly disgusting. I rented here in college and my experience was so out of line unacceptable that o haven't spoken up with the plans to sue or contact corporate once my feelings have cooled down. It's been years, and I am still incensed.
I had a dispute with roommates there that escalated into all of us wanting out. Eventually, two roommates decided to sublet, which was against the lease, but I was for it as long as I got to meet the folks ahead of time. What really happened was illegal and abusive. One day I come home and two strangers are in the house. Apparently, they signed a new lease, with my name on it, that they were now the roommates. Now, these new folks were nice people, but it was not okay that they were given a key without me being notified. I ended up finding out that the manager Melissa, purposely made the contract and did not tell me in case I said no. When I complained to the office, they laughed at me and said "what contract?". They hold the position that they can place new roommates against the consent or notification of someone who has signed a lease. They kept the new girls there although I refused to sign the new, illegal lease. I sincerely hope I one day get the opportunity to sue them for their actions. This is disgusting, slumlord activity.
