Very poor delivery company! On 6 August I placed an order that would be delivered with GLS. It is now 14 August and I have still not received the same order. I receive the message that my package has probably been lost. Similar bad experiences with GLS in the past. From now on I will never order from companies that use delivery by GLS.

Indonesian student will continue her studies in the Netherlands after 3 years of study in Italy. She sends her belongings partly in 3 boxes with GLS to the Netherlands. Box 1 arrives. Box 2 and 3 so far (over 2 weeks later) not. Box 2 now seems to be back in Italy. Hopefully come here. Box 3 has not been scanned for almost 2 weeks now and seems to be lost. It seems that some GLS deliverers are doing just that they have delivered the package and then steal the stuff. If you call GLS then they say that you should arrange it with the web store. Advice: always check whether the seller sends via GLS for online purchases, if so, choose another store.

Afternoon at home to receive package, after GLS confirmation of changed delivery day. Package tracked via GLS site. To my surprise, the message appears: '14: 21h / delivered '. But no one seen; nothing on the bus. So looking for GLS depot phone number (not available on the site). Finally called GLS just after 5 pm. Operator informed that her system said "address incorrect / address not found". Strange: street has been around since the beginning of the last century, I have lived here for over 15 years. She calls concerning delivery person, receives voice mail. His phone is off While on site and delivery options, GLS reports delivery until 5:30 PM. Pruss work. Ordered a mattress from Emma through Beter Bed. This had to be delivered from Germany and went via GLS.

I've read a lot of negative reviews, so I already had numerous doom scenarios running through my mind.

However, I am pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the delivery person and the speed with which the mattress was delivered. On day 1 he arrived in Utrecht from Germany. Day 2 from Utrecht to Amsterdam. Day 3 delivered neatly to the door.

The delivery guy was also very friendly, despite having to get a 33kg package to the 8th floor. Even helped lift the package over the sill of my front door.

In short, top service! The only point for improvement is the track & trace information. A daily indication of when you can expect your package helps enormously, especially with a package size of this size.

GLS should have delivered a package to us, but they never did. Also no "not at home" message left, but the package unsubscribed online with the reason "not at home". So then go to the main depot looking for our package. Fortunately there was a friendly man who found it and gave it to him.

GLS does not deliver within the time slot provided by them, let alone on the day they indicate. Because of this, you can better save the day after the expected delivery date, then the chances are that you will not stay home for nothing.

Pakketshop is on the outskirts of the city and public transport in this area is tragic just like locating the entrance door to the plot which is hidden somewhere deep in the warehouses. Generally speaking, this place is a failure and the only advantage of this company are competitive prices for shipping and it is not the weight that matters but the size and for the transport of 100 kg of steel and 100 kg of feathers we will pay the same.

They only rang once so they didn't give me enough time to get to the door. There was a note in the letterbox giving us multiple options. We chose the one where they would come the following morning. We stayed at home to receive the parcel, but they didn't come and they told us we had to collect it the next day. When we tried to call them we had to pay one euro on top of the normal costs. They couldn't put us through to the customers service, which meant we had to call again and pay another euro. Overall a very bad experience.

Very bad experiences with GLS. I had ordered an expensive product abroad and received an email that it had arrived at GLS Utrecht depot. Then nothing more heard of it. After a few phone calls you will be told that the package is "lost" and that you only need to contact the sender. And this while I can see on the GLS tracking site that the package was last scanned in Utrecht at GLS! That is unbelievable. This is the second time that I am involved in GLS. They "lose" your stuff and you have to see for yourself how you get your money back. If I want to order something at a webshop now I check in advance if they work with GLS, if so I order my stuff somewhere else.

First time not received a note at home. I could indicate when I want to receive the package. Indicate Monday. Nobody came, I saw via track and trace that it is offered on Tuesday, due to crowds. Fine, but nobody came by. Apparently package has been returned to sender due to damage. They have run throwing etc. Pots etc broken. Extra costs for the sender. A few days later the package is delivered, I was home alone. The package is heavy early, it was indicated that it is quite light.

I expected my package to be delivered as advertised by web shop where I purchased my items. Unfortunately, the web shop choose GLS to deliver the package. I was hugely dissapointed to see GLS reporting status of my package as 'Niet afgeleverd - adres niet bereikbaar'. On the delivery date there were no roadworks in my neighbourhoud and on the same day I received deliveries from Post NL and DHL without any issue. According to GLS driver a truck was blocking one entry to my street at the time of attempted delivery. By the way, my street is very small street (approx 200 meters) and it can be entered from both sides. Bottom line... GLS driver made little or no effort to deliver my package
