I just booked a week at one of the Globequest home...

I just booked a week at one of the Globequest home properties when I called in and was lucky enough to get Jean on the phone. He was incredibly helpful and patient as I asked many, many questions about the suite I was interested in. I have not always been thrilled with the Globequest service from the other agents I've spoken to, but Jean was great. His wonderful service convinced me to book on the spot for my family's vacation.

To be clear, Casa Dorada is a beautiful place to stay with wonderful service and friendly staff. We have vacationed there for 10 years and always look forward to our trip.
GBS International is a company that manages time shares including the Casa Dorada time shares.
GBS International is the worst and most unethical company I have ever dealt with...honestly. They do not honor the special vacation offers that they send me and add additional fees to every transaction I have had to make with them. Do not enter into any contracts with GBS International.

I have had to deal with this company for 10 years....

I have had to deal with this company for 10 years. I have yet to have a positive experience. Every time I have tried to book my time share there has been hidden fees for one reason or another. They come up with "special assessment fees" that they claim is covered in the contract and that is for the timeshare renovations. I have asked for a copy of the contract multiple times as the copy of my contract that I have does not state that. Instead they opt to send a one page 5 font clause that has the words special fee on it, which in that premise they can write anything to be a special fee, hence they keep adding fees. I have asked to speak to a supervisor and the staff is trained to not escalate the call to a supervisor. Instead they tell you that a supervisor will call you in 24-48hrs and one week later a staff calls you again. Every staff tells you that is not necessary to speak to a supervisor because they will tell you the same thing and will not be able to answer any question differently than they have. I finally spoke with a supervisor, Luigi, he was also of no help. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said he did not know who his supervisor was. I asked him who the regulatory body is that regulates this business, he had no clue what I was asking. What a shame this company is in Florida, as the regulatory body for this state does not hold their companies accountable. What a shame that this company lies to customers that think they have paid in full for their vacations and then are faced with poor customer service and fees that add up to more than if you would have just rented the place. I will really love it if a real manager that is not reading a script over and over and had their own thinking that can offer some real customer service. Too bad that there is not an option for negative stars, as it has been 10 dreadful years for me dealing with this company. It really is too bad for Casa Dorada as they are a great resort and great customer service.

I appreciate the time and patience from Juan in dealing with my calls over the last 2 days. I had to coordinate flights and dog kennels before I could select the dates to travel to Secrets Capri. Juan had to deal with 2 options for our travel and handled all our needs with courtesy and professionalism.

We booked our annual timeshare vacation at our resort Casa Dorado beach and golf resort in Cabo Mexico In October 2019 for two weeks starting January 11th through 25 January. The following day we booked our flight with Aeromexico with anticipation of having a wonderful and memorable well-deserved vacation.

On December 24 of 2019 we received an email from the resort indicating that the grounds of the resort where it was were going through extensive changes to the pools landscaping and timeshare rooms. We were apprised that there would be noises specifically pounding light at times and very loud at times in the area where our timeshare room is located. I sent an email back immediately notifying the resort but understandably this would be totally unacceptable since I was promised a very memorable vacation by GBS international.

Since I never received a response from the resort I contacted GBS international about their unacceptable booking of the resort while these noises would be going. I have contacted GBS over 30 times during the time span of December 26, 2019 until today. I have tape recorded every conversation I ve had with GBS international and your company has apologized and stated over the tape conversations that they had no knowledge of the remodeling going on. When I went to travel sites they were printed posts of people that went to the same resort during the summer and were very upset that this remodeling was going on during their stay.
Realizing all the inconvenience you have put me through by not going on my vacation And not reimbursing me for the two weeks plus the fees associated as well as the cost of my flight to this date. Everybody in your department I have spoken to as well as your supervisor Nick with false promises that I should be patient because you are looking into it whatever that should mean.
I have had excuses such as you are surprising the resort about this and waiting for a response in which we both realize that I booked it with GBS international. If you are a professional company that values a long time dedicated customer a response should be immediate with total reimbursement for the expenses my wife and I had to incur in putting together a memorable experience that has turned out to be one of the worst nightmares I have ever experienced and travel over 60 years. The whole history of this story nightmare is on file with all of your so-called customer service employees. If you value our relationship you would get back with me with a check to cover my total expenses we incurred from this unacceptable Experience you put us through. If you are going to tell me to be patient then don t get back with me but if you care about Finalizing reimbursement then you will send a check out to cover our flight fees for our second weeks booking and a hard copy of the first week that has supposedly already been put on file to cover next years booking. No more excuses make me a memorable customer that deserves the professional level of service that you promise when I m on hold with your company

Poor service. I prepaid for services to and from airport. Not unable to reached anyone on Saturday or Sunday. We flew in to Cancun and are ride wasn't there, tried calling no response. Had to pay again for a ride to resort. Was able to talk to someone on Tuesday about pick up from airport and the confirm pickup from resorts to airport. No refund for the 1st pick up that didn't happen.

Calling GBS for any kind of customer service is an absolute nightmare. The website their voice recording suggests for making reservations or paying maintenance fees gives an error message and is not accessible. So we are forced to call to pay the maintenance fee, and we are charged a convenience fee for doing so!

Calling directly to get a copy of a reservation confirmation is frustrating even 2 1/2 weeks after paying the maintenance fees, I am told that the reservations are booked but still being processed ?? Still waiting for the confirmations....

(Oddly though, when I call to pay our maintenance fees, the fees are processed immediately and charged to our credit card within minutes.)

Also, every time I call, they ask if I would like to add a phone number to our contact information. I ALWAYS say yes, because it is NEVER in the system the next time I call.

Dear GBS, please please please improve the customer service and check your website for being attainable. ( The GBS person I spoke to today told me to use the Google Chrome browser instead of Safari. Yeah, that didn t work.)

I absolutely dread having to deal with GBS twice a year!

She was patient, warm and friendly. She deserves a five star rating and a raise from UVC for handling business in a top grade priority manner!!!!!

DO NOT COME HERE : Never work here or come into the office. Management staff is absolutely terrible. Corina Torres is the coordinator of the call center and she is a sorry excuse of a manager. She is lazy, abusive and she breaks all the rules she is enforcing. My goal is to now make sure no one ever have to deal with Corina Torres again.

If I could give working here 0 stars I would. Corina Del Carmen Torres was my supervisor and She is beyond controlling and does not hear you out. I had disclosed medical conditions to her and she informed the whole office. I don t understand how she holds such a high position in that office and is able to run it like her own personal playground. I am appalled that such a proffesional company hires such poorly trained staff. Christian Romero is also a sorry excuse of an employee. I was wrongfully terminated because of their incompetence and lack or moral. If you ever see Corina Del Carmen Torres. RUN.

As a past employee this is really a waste of money. Management is really racist and they also train you to lie to customers its a huge waste of money and to be honest we purposely place u on hold and when ask to speak with a supervisor we are told not to pass the call or he or she not in but in reality they are standing right by us

Eduardo was very professional, respectful, and efficient. He explained all the reservations and options with clarity and offered options. This call was to cancel a reservation at one AM Resort location and move it to another. The call only took minutes and email confirmations were received while still talking on the phone with Eduardo. It nice to be valued as a customer, and he made me feel like I was part of the family, which I am a proud member of UVC since 2018.

Reservations agent Pedro was fantastic in his customer service approach. Once a certain issue was not resolved in the initial call, Pedro stayed engaged, called me frequently to provide updates and finally solved the issue to my entire satisfaction. He was always respectful, resourceful, courteous and efficient. I was very fortunate to have been taken care of by him. Great member of the GBS team!!!

Ryan was excellent. He made me a believer in Unlimited Vacation Club. I was very hurt and depressed because I thought the company was a total SCAM. I accepted that there was not a reversal for my impulsive behavior of signing a contract under extreme pressure. Ryan spent a lot of time with me and made me feel much better. He appeared calm and sincere with a sympathetic ear. We where able to plan a Fabulous vacation week to Secrets and Zoetry Resorts. I am looking forward to booking more trips with my Platinum membership thanks to Ryan :- )

We had misunderstanding of a charge on our credit ...

We had misunderstanding of a charge on our credit card which led to a account lock. We tried several ways to resolve this including help at Dreams
Curacao, but it was Regina, Supervisor at Customer Service who was persistent and resolved the issue. It took a week to extra, but we appreciate her professionalism in getting the lock removed and our on-line access restored. We are now restored to enjoying UVC! Arthur Lane

Angel was AWESOME

The prior two reps today being the fellow first who painfully finally transferred me to the lady who later finally transferred me to Angel were horrific with not one response correct over the phone for hours. First the fellow kept telling me we had passed 30 days (even though I kept stating do the math) ... this coming Sunday would the last day as Carlos had told me the day prior but he just argued and argued and wasn't sharp or correct on one thing.

The Lady was not nice repeatedly stating 12 times over over 30 minutes the same information I knew was incorrect and angel later confirmed was inaccurate.

Carlos yesterday too was wonderful!

So especially Angel today plus Carlos yesterday were were fantastic!

Just got the best customer service from Anaiti at UVC. Trying to book a Christmas vacation pretty late. Her knowledge of my options, her patience and willingness to answer all my questions were top notch. Such a great example of excellent customer first mentality! Love UVC.

It is a pleasure dealing wth Ryan - he shows understanding, he listens and exercises patience. This helps to assure me that he is he is genuinely considering my interest. This is very important to me
because I have not fully recovered from the pressure I felt initially which led me to sign the contract.
Ryan is good for clients like me in instilling needed confidence and assurance and creating a positive
spin which the company needs.
