I was advised to take a damaged Iphone here to get a repair by Apple as it was within the warranty agreement. On arrival the tech informed me they wouldn't be able to do anything on site and would send it to an apple store. Furthermore, they couldn't replace the device so I'd have to wait until it was returned (or not). I'd advise just going straight to an apple retailer.

Sent 2 week old computer for repair of faulty Mac keyboard key. GBM returned the computer without replacing alleging "water damage". Later proven as fraud when Apple store confirmed there was no such damage.

Honestly one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had.

Paid for a diagnostic for a faulty Macbook and their diagnosis was 'it's broken'. Treated with utter contempt for wanting to ask a few questions. Also found that they had bent the removable part of the casing so that it no longer sits flush in the Macbook.

Within 48 hours I had sent an email with my enquiry, had a reply, had two phone calls to discuss, query, advise on best product to suit my needs and then it arrived. Super speedy and efficient, and friendly, which is always a plus point for me! Thanks Simon and Tom

The worst experience in the authorized apple store...

The worst experience in the authorized apple store.
It took about "one mouth" to fix my MacBook pro (It mentioned that the working days is around 5-7 days in the first time and claim that the replaced part isn't delivered for several time).
I have called for over 7 times for asking the process of my repair.
The service is really poor and awful.
Also, when I get my laptop back, there is several scratch on my laptop cover and B,C sides.

I am so angry but I don't wanna spend another ONE month on my Mac.
Please DON'T go to GBM for fixing your Mac.
That would be your nightmare and you will be definitely pissed of.

Avoid this company at all costs. Picked up a MacBook to be repaired. Went to a fictitious address. Finally after much sweat and phone calls it was picked up. They never notified me as to the outcome of either a total loss or of the MacBook being repaired. I rang to be told that they were awaiting me to contact them.
On return of the MacBook, they rang to clarify the address only to send it to the fictitious address. After me suggesting I collect it from the depot, they ordered the MacBook to then be returned. In the end I had to fetch it myself

When I went here the staff were friendly and helpful. They were able to fix the problem I had with my Macbook in under two weeks. Not sure what problem was had by the person who said: "please don't go to GBM for fixing your Mac". What I experienced at GBM was a sympathetic, quick and efficient service.

I can see from other Reviews that their service seems good. However, I resent being told on apple website a fixed price for iPad repair (inclusive VAT) to waste time driving across city to be told that their price is + VAT. They clearly know what Apple is advertising them and their rate at, but still trying it on.
And if it's Not a case of 'trying it on' they should speak to Apple - but Apple have a fixed price for a reason.

Scam!!! I was charged $1200 from GBM and I have never used them and I didn t even know who they were until my bank called me. My bank caught the fraud and stopped it! My bank also said that a lot of fraud is coming from Great Britain lately!

Having dealt with IT/tech support companies in the past with generally bad experiences I was nervous when I came to GBM. As a business owner I needed a new laptop with very little downtime involved. Staff are incredibly professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I felt calm and comfortable handing over my precious tech - I definitely can't say the same of previous experiences elsewhere!! I'll 100% come back and also recommend GBM to anyone, my new 'out of box' laptop is excellent and was a real bargain!!

Having called Apple to have my MacBook Pro looked at I was unable to get an appointment at any of the apple stores, so Apple recommended GBM - an approved Apple Partner. I called and was able to take my Mac in the same day if I'd needed, as they have a walk-in help bar with NO QUEUE!

The technician listened to my issue, didn't fob me off, wasn't condescending and didn't try to out-geek me which was just awesome. He took my mac for a few tests and within ten minutes I knew what the problem was and what the fix would be.

Everything was above board, professional and clear.

As it turns out my Mac's fix was covered by Apple, so the whole fix was free (utter bonus)

As promised, within 3-5 working days, I received an email and an attempted call to let me know my Mac was ready for pickup.

I was able to pick it up the same day with a full rundown of what work had been done.

My Mac is now running like NEW!

Great experience. GBM carried out a repair on my iMac under warranty from Costco. Communication was great from pick-up all the way through to the repair and returning the machine. Easy to get hold of by telephone and always very helpful. Great service.

Called GBM with regards probable hardware issue with older MacBook Pro after several attempted fixes with Apple Support and Apple giving me the details of GBM as an authorised Apple Support Specialist. Having searched for months for a company I trusted to repair my MacBook Pro, Apple recommended GBM Technologies to me. I was not disappointed.

They provide excellent service, from start (quick online quotes and efficient check in) to finish (completed additional repair at no additional cost!).

All the staff were very friendly and courteous and as someone who knows little about technology I did not feel intimidated.

I would definitely recommend this company and will use them for any other work I need in the future.

I searched these guys out whilst trying to raise a consumer law claim against Debenhams for my faulty MacBook. One of their technicians, James, was absolutely outstanding, offering proactive assistance and kept me in the loop from start to finish. After they took a look at it, they agreed that the consumer law claim was valid and got in touch with Apple who agreed.

Within 5 days, the MacBook was tested, verified, and fitted with a new logic board - all completely free of charge. Zero stress.

All in all, a superb company with great staff and ethos.

Very nice guys. Professional and helpful advice. Even though my issue didn't resolve due to issue with parts but I would certainly be using these guys for future computer issues. These guys are ace. Not many businesses left with this kind service standards.

As a policy we would never remove customer data, interrogate drives or investigate any area of a customers machine. We are authorised and audited by Apple to the highest standards and conform to all data protection policies.

We are more than happy for any customer to audit our process, premises and staff should they ever wish to. I am however expecting with a name like "Brain Clough" we will never hear from you again.
