It was my first car buying experience and it was great! I saw the car online and it was exactly as pictured. Jared Fitzsimons was amazing! He made me feel comfortable and didn t pressure me at all into buying something I wasn t 100% happy with. They answered all my questions and were super friendly and fast with the whole process. Highly recommend Gary Lang and Jared!

I really had a great experience with this dealership. Highly recommended, especially with a Sales gentleman name Ed Chambers. All great staffs.

I came in without an appointment and I was accommodated in a friendly, professional manner. The wait time wasn't exceedingly long either.

I just wanted to give a big shout-out to Matt the manager at Gary Lang he goes above and beyond to keep his customers happy. Had a great experience with him on December 23rd 2017 he met my needs as a valued customer, HIGHLY COMMEND going to GARY LANG to buy any used or new car, and for parts and service. all the people there are friendly and courteous.

I recently purchased a used Ford Fusion, and it was an overall great experience. Jesse was my sale's man and he was extremely professional and helped me out greatly with my purchase. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new car to go here and ask for Jesse.

Worst dealership I've ever dealt with in my life. I bought my car over four months ago and still have not seen my registration and I need that for my work. They have cost me thousands of dollars and they ignore my request for an update and don't seem to care at all. The GM eventually offered to purchase my vehicle back but I am not about to accept a lowball offer. I have been in the dealership business over 14 years and never have I seen such incompetence from a dealership group. I do NOT recommend this company. Everyone but the sales person, Brandon can't do their job correctly.

Just leased a new Silverado from Josh Lass. He did a great job of explaining the options on the car as well as the payment options and I decided to lease based on the choices. The environment is great and friendly and definitely above and beyond any other experience I have had in the past.

We were in a tough situation with my wife's car engine being completely shot and still owing on the loan. The replacement engine was very expensive out of pocket. So they worked with us to get us the best deal on a trade in for a new car. They truly showed they cared and wanted to help rather than saying well this is all we can do. We really appreciated everything they did. And even though our payments are more than we wanted we love the new Traverse!

Ricardo is really a top notch salesman's. I told him what I wanted, what I really need and he listened. If your looking for a great guy who listens to your needs, Ricardo is the guy you want to talk to for your next car buy, he's awesome!!

Everyone was very nice it was not a difficult experience like past dealerships I have delta with. They worked with me to get me in the car I wanted at a great price. I would never recommend GARY LANG to anyone looking to buy a car!! Back in 2012 I had the pleasure of buying a Soul and was totally happy with the price and sales experience.
In 2015 I bought a Forte and was happy with the sales experience (researched the price on line communicated the deal with my salesperson through emails and went in and signed papers) however when the car was being prepped it took close to 2 hrs and they kept giving us excuses yet the dealership was closing. We came to find out during that 2 hr prep time 1 of the rear tires was changed out with a rotted tire that was 9 years old!!!!
I Thought since they have such a high turnover of Employees maybe they've changed and I would give them 1 more chance since they were advertising a good price on the 2019 Sorento. Started by shopping on line and communicating through emails, they were very accommodating (even though everytime I sent an email a different person answered). Made the appointment to test drive and deal, they were soo far off on the deal price by over $100.00 a month....... Ended up going to Napelton Kia Elgin and got the same car for the price I was looking for and excellent Customer service!!

Working with Carlos was very pleasant. No pressure, just simple discussions about the various options available. We work thru what we had available and were able to come up with the vehicle that fit our needs. The whole team efficiently had us thru the process and out the door. Thank!

I got such great customer service in the service department. They went out of their way to be sure my car was ready when I needed it.

Horrid service department. I moved up here in late 2014 with the car I had just purchased in July from a dealer downstate, and after repeated poor service, I had stopped coming here. I have a prepaid maintenance plan, and the last coupon I had, I decided to come back and give them another chance. I'm here right now. I waited over an hour, with people who came in after me leaving before me, before they even told me my car was "on the rack," and they've been trying to pressure me about buying more service and trying to charge me $60 for an air filter I can replace myself for $10. I'll certainly never buy a car here if this is the best they could do for servicing it.

I was having a problem with rear brakes locking up. Chris Scholer really went the extra mile to check my warranty coverage to help me out. I just had to buy new tires two weeks earlier. He was able to find coverage and really helped me on the price. I think Chris is a very valuable member to the Gary Lang team. I hope he's there for many years to come.

We were very satisfied with the service that we received during our purchase of a Subaru Outback. Our salesman, Elijah Ali was very helpful in guiding us through this process. I was very impressed with Elijah s courtesy, patience and his desire to be accommodating.

I baught a truck from them a year ago withing the first 3 months I had to spend 300 on new chain links and now barely a year later they quoted me on a throttle body, oil cooler line, and trans cooler line of 2300. I've barely had it a year and if I was buying a project car I would have baught a project car. Terrible business.

Salesman Josh F. was great. He was brand new, only his 2nd week on the job but he did pretty good considering. Could answer most of our questions no problem, any he couldnt he made sure to get the answer for us and was very nice and courteous. The finance guy was a bit harsh with him when he forgot some things and gave off your typical "car salesman" vibe. Overall though, the experience was great. I got a pretty good deal on a demo car that had just shy of 5k on it and it was a brand new 2018. Happy with what i was able to walk away with.

Excellent experience. Lorenzo and the team were great. Service was superb. The deal was a fair deal. Lorenzo my salesman even stayed late and detailed the new car himself to ensure I made it out on time as I had a particular schedule to keep. The business office and finance team were very transparent and honest in all dealings. Nobody had to sell me. Everyone s intention was to help me determine what was best for me. Great experience!!

Employee saw me waiting for my car and immediately asked me for my paperwork and had a porter bring it around. He did the same for the lady next to me. He said he doesnt like seeing his customers waiting. Need I say more ? Great job.

I was a bit disappointed with the honestly level. I went in for an oil change and i watched as they performed the initial check on my car. One of four tires were listed as zero tread. I got a quote for new tires but in the final report the tread magically changed to ok. Overall for a dealer the oil change only too about an hour where in used to 1.5. I'll give them another chance and hope the tire thing was a Miss read that was overlooked in the first stages.

Made a promise to hold a car (mind you we live five hours away) get there and they sold the car two days before I was supposed to go get it. No phone call to let us know so drove all the way there for nothing. That is very BAD business! Never been to a dealership and had them do anything remotely like that. Will not refer any one here.

My wife and I just purchased our 4th new car from Gary Lang. We got the lowest possible price on each car, and I really shopped. They beat the all dealers in NE Illinois and SE Wisconsin, so we drove down from Wisconsin to make each purchase. We just bought a 2017 Kia Optima (#1 mid-size sedan according to Consumer Reports.) Jesse was our sales rep, and Sales Manager Cody took great care of us.

Sales consultant Darlene did a great job finding me the right car for my style driving. I absolutely love my 2017 cruze. My favorite feature is probably the combo of the my chevrolet app for a smart phone & the fact that you can remote start it from anywhere with this. She made sure i knew how to work everything inside & out before I took the keys.
I also had aftermarket mods done to my trade in vehicle which i needed to get off & this dealership bent over backwards to get my aftermarket mods off so i could sell them asap. Special thanks to greg in service for that!

Had to bring my car in for recall work. The time they quoted me was spot on. Very nice waiting room with free wifi, coffee, and water.

I could not choose zero stars on question 1. That would be how I would like to answer that question.

I was treated abominably by the service department regarding a recall on my 2012 Equinox. Then I was called by a salesman the same day telling me he would make it up to me if I came in to trade my Equinox in. Then after much going around, my 2012 Equinox could be repaired under the recall if I would just purchase a 2018. Then the customer service Manager, Kimberly said that should make sure that they would do anything to make my experience better. I have not heard back from anyone. My experience was so awful, that I will be happy to shout that from the rooftops and to anyone that cares to listen. I have a terribly loud mouth when it comes to that.

i was very upset at my last visit. One they used the bate and switch on us. Two I came in with a loan paper and they ran my credit on 6 other loan I did not ask them to do. And in total they wasted 4 hours of my time. This practices they use to make sale are very sad. They should rethink what it means to do whats right for the customer and not the bottom line. I don't think I will be buying my next car from them. With DISHONEST practices

I had made an appointment to see an Equinox today. When I spoke with the online sales rep on Monday, she explained the car would be cleaned and ready for me to test drive. When I arrived, the car was still parked in the showroom, which was the first indication that this wasn t going to go well. I made the appointment because it was explained to me on Monday that where I felt comfortable on a car payment/trade-in value was realistic for the vehicle I was interested in. When, today, I explained to Jeff that I wanted to stay between $330-$340 and was willing to put money down, he responded by saying that was pretty low to get into an Equinox. I was being told my 18 Malibu LT (with 12k miles) was valued at $12-14K. When he came back with an estimate on a payment he asked if $50 more a month was really too far out of my budget and asked if I could put more money down.
He never offered to show me something that would be more within my budget. He never asked me what I do for a living to see if GM offers a discount (which they do as I m a teacher). Finally, when I walked outside, my car had been moved while they assessed it for a trade. He didn t let me know it had been moved. When I went back inside, he asked me if I couldn t just hit the alarm button on my fob to find it. He did walk outside to help find it parked around the side of the showroom.
This review isn t to try and get a new deal worked out, but rather to express my disappointment in this dealership. I truly walked in thinking they d work with me and instead I walked out feeling defeated and a little chastised for not feeling comfortable with a nearly $400 car payment.
One more thing- When responding from the owner, and using the tag line about If it doesn t say Gary Lang on the back..., you re using the wrong form of to - it should be, You probably paid TOO much.

I wasn't happen, and neither were the other patrons that waited months to bring in their cars to find out that COVID isn't taken seriously at your dealership. No masks, no wiping down of cars that you got in and out of. This wasn't only in service, I went to the front to talk about a vehicle you had in stock and none of your sales people took any precautions. I visited another Chevy dealer that was taking the appropriate precautions.
