I had been working with different Subaru dealerships for the last year trying to get out of my lease and Into a car that actually works for my family. Jeff at Gary Lang was beyond helpful and worked hard to get me a deal that I could work with. The whole process was easy, and quick! I felt like a vip customer when I went in, everyone was so friendly! We brought our toddler so I expected it to be an exhausting day but it wasn t! They had everything ready when we came in, so it didn t take any longer than necessary.. I couldn t have asked for a better experience at Gary Lang.

More a 4.5 for us. We were in this past weekend ready to buy a new truck, but also in the very early stages of looking. We met with Marcus Jones and he quickly was able to get us into a few trucks that we were looking at for a test drive. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the vehicles, but even more than that for me was his amazing customer service skills. He was very personable and direct. I felt comfortable and knew i was going to be taken care of appropriately and professionally. We were able to negotiate a price that we were not only happy with but were excited about. Marcus and Dion worked with us until we were happy with what we were getting. The only down side to our experience was the amount of time the whole process took, but even that was bearable. After we chose our new truck we went on to Nicole Schomer in Customer Relations. She was fantastic. She not only got us all the extra's that we wanted and needed, but she was able to show us things that we were not even aware of. Nicole helped us to protect our new investment at a great price and was able to schedule us very quickly to get these extra's done to the truck. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would recommend Gary Lang to anyone for any vehicle.

Our experience with Gary Lang was perfect, from being greeted as soon as we stepped out our car, to being seen earlier as a walk in, when we could not keep our afternoon appointment. Jeff Galanty was thorough and asked all the questions about what we wanted. In the end we left with a deal within our budget. The hospitality was nothing short or great! Jeff gave us a tour of the auto service area and briefed us on what to do and where to go when we come in for service. Lastly, he offered us lunch as you can imagine, buying a car can be a lengthy process. Thank you Jeff for excellent customer service and David for closing the deal! I recommend Gary Lang as your automotive dealer.

Everyone was polite and professional and as far as I can see excellent work performed. I had a sunroof installed at the time I purchased my vehicle from an outside contractor of Gary Lang. Gary Lang acknowledge the problem, looked into it and had the problem fixed within the same day that I dropped off my vehicle. I was provided a 2015 Equinox for my loaner vehicle, which tempted me to upgrade. When I am ready to purchase a new vehicle, Gary Lang will be the first place I stop.

Scheduled an appt. to look at a car. The dealership texted me appt. date time. Confirmed that I would be available for the appt. 1/2 hr before my arrival. When I arrived the car wasn't there. The manager Ryan gave multiple excuses, I was on vacation yesterday, how was I to know it would take BMW 2 weeks to repair, and the girls upfront are responsible for scheduling. Really takes responsibility for his responsibilities. I drove 4 hours for nothing. Bait and switch????

I receive a call from Kasey he was very funny and friendly. I told him my situation because I didn't want to waste time. He told me to bring the things he needed and he'll help me . Once I got there Kasey was busy with a customer. but it was cool because the moment we walk in I felt so welcome. George immediately got me started after about two minutes of being there Kasey introduce himself. He apologize for being so busy but wanted me to know I was in great hands with George. And boy was he right George was very nice and relax. He wasn't worried that my five year old son was being so busy. He offer him something to drink and welcome him to the play area. I was worried that my credit and my situation would hold me back. But George work MAGIC he paid off my car which would have put me up side down since I wanted to trade it. This guy put me in brand new 2016 malibu. I felt like we were best friends I would most definitely refer Gary Lang Auto to friends... I recently visited Gary Lang in search of a truck . After searching other dealerships in the area in the days prior, (only to be neglected and pushed into vehicles I didnt want). I immediately felt comfort and trust with Jeff Vicari just moments into walking into Gary Lang .
I was extremely happy to meet Jeff Vicari of Gary Lang . This gentleman was extremely helpful, confident , and reassuring, and knowledgeable. He made my vehicle purchase go as smooth as it possibly could , and because of his expertise and confidence I will forever do business again with him and Gary Lang. I highly advise anyone in need of a vehicle , new or used to go see Jeff Vicari . In all my 20 years of car buying he has made this experience a memorable one and will without a doubt earn my business again ! Jeff if you see this .... Thank you again.

Way over priced. Wanted to charge me over a $1,000 for an AC fill. Took to Napelton in Crystal Lake and charged less than half. It was 7/23 1:30 appt. You might have put it under my husband's name Anthony.

Recently Shane Ryder helped us with our GMC Terrain, Shane is not only knowledgeable, but also extremely helpful and courteous!!!
I would highly recommend Gary Lang Auto Group, they really go above and beyond to help you out with their friendly service.

There's not enough paper to describe this place, If only you knew what I've been through you would never buy a vehicle from this place. Frankly I'm not sure how they are even still in business after what I've heard from everyone and seeing it first hand myself. All I can say is good luck if you decide to buy from them, they would get a zero if google would let me. I usually try, try, try again just to give local businesses a fair chance(everyone has a bad day every once in awhile), but I'm done.

Decent experience. I do not like the process of having your current car valued by an outside third party. But, we came to an agreement on value and pricing for the new vehicle. I've had much worse car buying experiences. Also, I was disappointed that buying a new vehicle only includes 1 oil change... Most I have talked to said their dealership gave them 3.

I would make this rating lower but I can't. 1 year and 1 month ago i bought a 2013 Kia Rio. I'm still paying on this car and have done oil changes regularly, and kept up with the maintenance. But the car has an engine knock. The same engine knock that I found out is on the Kia recall. But this cars VIN doesn't fall under the recall. It has been nothing but problems and total after financing is a little under 10k. This car is not good quality and even though I bought it as is. It should for the price been a better product. How do you sell people bs, and try to make it as if it is a great product. Their should be a law that holds all of the dealers responsible. An not these bogus lemon laws we have in this state that dont truly protect the purchaser. Just a crappy product that I would never buy again. Truly done with Kia's.

I called to confirm that I would get the internet price on the new car I wanted like the website said. I was assured I would. When I talked to a salesman, he informed me I had to finance to get that deal, or the car would be $2000 more, but I was told by a finance manager I would not have to pay ANY interest or fees on the loan if I paid it off with my first payment when due. He told me to wait for the paperwork in the mail, which I did. When I called THAT DAY to pay it off, I was shocked to learn I had to pay an additional amount for the accumulation of interest which I was assured by Nick Ludford would not happen. I wish they would be honest and upfront with customers. That is why car dealers/salesmen get a bad reputation.

I bought a new car from Gary Lang a week ago. Everyone was efficient, friendly, and helpful. No one was high pressure. No one asked if we had been to another dealership.

After agreeing on a particular car and a price with Rick (our salesman) and Tim, we said that we would let them know in a day or two because we do not make expensive decisions quickly. No pressure at all.

When we called to say we wanted the car, Rick (saleman) said to come in the next morning, and the car would be cleaned and ready. It was. Jake (the techie) went over every device in the car, explained how to operate everything, and answered any questions . He also set a follow-up meeting. Matt (financial guy) took care of the business end. Again, no problems and no pressure.

We are very happy with the dealership. Our experience was excellent.

Was quoted almost $200 to replace the bulbs in my headlights. Service consultant told me that they had to remove the wheels and part of the fender to to the job, hence the high labor costs (the two bulbs would cost $40-$50.) That sounded fishy, so I called Roto Subaru in Arlington Heights to see what they charged. Their consultant said that while it is true that it's easier to change the headlamp bulbs by putting the car in the air and removing the wheels, it's a quick and easy job, and they charge $30 for the labor to replace both. If you use Gary Lang, you'd be wise to shop around. (I also learned that Gary Lang charges almost double what Roto does for oil changes.) I'm was a long-time Gary Lang customer but I won't be going back after today's experience. I may be a woman, but I have Google in my pocket, and I won't be taken by them again!

I just want the Gary Lang Group to know that we enjoyed our experience in obtaining a new Kia, Cadenza. This automobile is the best that we have had in many, many years.The features and technology are state of the art. Where else can you get a 10 year, 100M mile warranty on the power train...All buyers should be made aware of the benefits of all of the Kia models......There is no doubt that we will do this again in the next few years

My family has gotten their cars from Gary Lang for over 15 years now. 3 years ago, I leased my very first car with the help of Ricardo. He was fantastic and made the process so easy. Today I went to turn in my lease, and had the hope of finding another vehicle, but this time to buy. I was thrilled that Ricardo was there today to assist us. He's the best and I can't say enough about him. He was incredibly patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and really worked to help me get something I liked and a price I was comfortable with. You know when you go to the car dealership that you're going to be there a while, but Ricardo and everyone at Gary Lang make the car buying experience a pleasant one. In the end, I was able to buy the car I wanted and I'm very happy I made the drive from Schaumburg.

I was in the market for a new truck. I was very specific in what I wanted and no other dealer could deliver what I had requested. As I live in McHenry, I wanted to keep my purchase local which on a previous purchase I was not able to do. I explained the situation of my previous experience and Jeff Lang and Jessica Lang were able to come through with the vehicle I had specified at a price I was comfortable with. There was damage to the vehicle that I had noticed the next morning and they have agreed to take care of it at no cost to me. I am very happy with my experience in my dealings with Jeff and Jessica. I made an appointment to test drive a used Sonata last week. We drove up to McHenry from Naperville to check out the car. Everything looked good, and we went inside to discuss the price. We agreed on a price, I signed a sheet of paper with that price, and the salesman went to run it by his manager. After about 15 minutes, he came back to say we were in a "sticky situation" because another buyer has now suddenly placed a down payment on the car and agreed to a higher price. We knew there was a later appointment that day to see the car so we suspect they called this person to say the car was about to be sold and asked if they would pay the sticker price. If this is the case, then selling a car from under a potential customer is a very shady way to conduct business. I understand why it would be done from a financial reason, but very poor job from a customer relations perspective. I highly doubt we'll be considering any future purchase from this auto group. We've told others, and we'll be continuing to tell others, about our negative experience.

Very knowledgeable young salesmen. I highly recommend you work with him if you are in search of a new or used vehicle.
Wonderful experience compared to other dealerships I worked with in the past. He worked close with Jeff Lang and together gave me a deal I could not refuse. They were more than fair on their pricing.
