I was just looking and not in a rush to purchase a car but I had visited other dealerships looking and I just wasn't comfortable with their people or their sell first and fast approach. I decides to try local and visited Maikel at Garavel Jeep and I was sold on his honesty and willingness to work not for himself but for me, I was the important objective not just selling a car. He helped me decide and guided me through my options with his experience, I even bought a car but then changed my mind and wanted a different one, no problem mission accomplished thanks to Maikel. I went in to the Garavel dealership knowing exactly what truck I wanted. I worked with Maikel who was absolutely awesome!! He didn't try to sell me on a new truck or one with a higher price tag but instead focusing on getting me in the right truck for me. It was the first car I have purchased and would recommend people to go back and work with Maikel anytime! Anytime I had a question (even after I bought the truck) Maikel answered me quickly with a concise and honest answer.

Keith and Ramon were very very helpful and polite. My experience was great and once the part arrived my car was ready very quickly. I would definately recommend coming to Georgetown Jeep and Chrystler for car work. They do a great job and they are definately fair because my price was cheaper than what I was told at first because there was less work than originally thought. They could have charged me and never told me they did less work but they didn't. That is just one of the many reasons why I will bring my car here in the future.
I would not recommend this dealership to anyone! They will tell you anything and lie through their teeth about service performed on vehicles only to leave an unsuspecting buyer a HUGE headache as well as repair fees! I would be very careful buying a car from them!
Worst dealer I've experienced in a while. Arrived to not have an appt like I was told I had. The salesman knew nothing about the jeep I was interested in. And the jeep was flooded with water and not even cleaned up for a test drive. He pretty much told me it is "as is"! Pretty poor way to sell a car. I told him I never would have driven and hr and a half if I knew the jeep was that bad!! He really did not care! Pretty bad!

I test drove several different cars and my salesman, Sal Iodice, was very easy to work with, got the answers to all of my questions quickly and had a very good knowledge of the vehicles. I recently went into this dealership to take a look at a Ford Explorer they had on the lot for sale. Maikel Caramenati came out to assist me from the sales department. He was not only very knowledgeable about the car itself, but he allowed me to make my own decisions and I felt was sharing some thoughts of what was best for me (vs. what is best for the dealership). This was the first experience I had with a car salesman who was nothing like a typical car salesman but more like a friend who was just trying to guide me and answer questions as needed. I did buy the car! I also want to comment that he is very communicative as to what is going on every step of the way in the process. After I purchased the car, I thought a light on the dashboard was a warning light for an issue and I brought it back. Maikel was very kind about it and explained to me that it was perfectly normal. He also allowed me to talk with their service folks and was ready to get the issue resolved. As it turns out, it was my mistake and the entire transaction was excellent. I highly recommend this dealership especially if he can help you !!
Complete waste of time. Drove over an hour for terrible service. Took the car I was interested in to get inspected at a third party mechanic only to find out it had a million problems. STAY AWAY

Between myself and my family, we have purchased about 10 Jeeps over the years. I am a returning customer of Garavel in Norwalk. They worked along with me to get me the car I wanted and at a price I could afford. During the process, the sales & management team treated me with respect and kindness. I also needed some questions answered after I left the dealership and they were very prompt with their replies. I recommend them to anyone looking for a new car.

parts sales and service always seem like the customer is an inconvenient part of their day. if you call parts with a part number for a vehicle to see if they have it in stock and they wont tell you if its stocked without a vin . 3+ week service time and if you dont have an appointment. forget about wanting to speak with a service advisor in person without an appointment its an inconvenience. Took the vehicle in for an oil change (had 2 free when i purchased the jeep, so why not) an oil change which should have been 30-40 min max pushed 2+ hours and as a "curtsey" I got a coupon for a free car wash. Taking my business elsewhere where they haven't run out of Fs to give about people
Brought SRT392 Challenger in for service and was very happy with everything. They have you drop the car off the night before due to the virus situation. I did not mind this and was able to put my car in a corner spot on their otherwise busy lot.
Edison stayed in touch with me throughout the day. I had an open recall and had to drain/replace the rear diff fluid, and asked them to take a look at the brakes. These guys were very honest with me and admitted I had plenty of time left on the brakes and did not need any work done on them. I really appreciated that.
Car was in good shape when I picked it up, even had a steering wheel wrap for cleanliness. No complaints and will be back.

Dont buy any car from them or take the care down there to fix it... we bought a jeep from them and they went and did everything possible to sell this car to us it turned out to be having problem with the steering and we took there three times and the problem still not fixed and every time we go there they gave you an attitude and make you feel unwelcome especially the service manager who wont even leave his office to explain to us whats going on what a bad place to go to... a big advice dont go there deal with jeep in Watertown they are the best...

Buyers beware! After purchasing a Wrangler from Garavel Jeep I was told it would come with two keys. After I paid I was told it only had one key as the other was lost. Then the parts department sold me the wrong size bolts to attach my side bars. They refused to refund me the $64 for the bolts. That $64 dollars cost them a customer for life. I live and work in Norwalk. I'll be sure everyone who talks about buying a Jeep is directed to another dealership. Do no trust this dealship, you will be burned.
Desk man checking me in for service would not look me in the eye while I asked questions and advice. Very high prices and no confidence in them. I had my car towed away from there quick!

We had a great experience at Garavel, leasing a 2019 Cheerokee Limited. Brendan was a great salesman. No typical car sales BS. When we changed our minds on the color at the last second, it wasn t an ideal situation for the dealership, yet they found us our car for closing no problem. We had to reschedule closing by a day and they did it with no issues. We will be back to lease another Jeep soon!

Worst sales experience ever. I will never work with this dealership again. After wandering the lot getting in and out of vehicles I went to get a sales person. I was impressed by how dishonest the sales staff was. I felt they really could care less about selling me any vehicles. Ultimately they helped me realize if the sales is this horrible how bad is the service department. I ended up buying 3 nice new vehicles just a couple miles up the road the next day
My car broke down on a Sunday night and was towed to Garavel ...On Monday Morning I was lucky to get a great service rep, Keith Zaremski. He was very professional, polite and knowledgeable.. I told him that I needed my jeep for a trip that I was taking the next day.... He explained all that he would do to get the necessary parts if they were not in stock, to make sure that I would have the car in time...He called me during the day to keep me up on what was happening and at 5pm called and said to come get the car...Great service ,,,great rep...Thanks Ketih !!!!

Terrible. Classic shady car dealership meets unorganized disaster. Integrity is non existent and they will not keep their word. 10/10 worst car buying experience of my adult life. I will say my salesman Mark was a good guy and at times i felt like he was being screwed as much as i was but besides that not a single even remotely pleasant thing to say. If youre in the market for a dodge jeep ram or chrysler id suggest contacting Pamby in Ridgefield, Danbury dodge, or scap in fairfield. Make the longer ride and deal with decent people

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! I was emailed a coupon for an Oil Change and Tire Rotation BY THIS DEALERSHIP, and they said they wouldn't honor it because they aren't a participating dealer. If this isn't a text book example of false advertising, I don't know what is. I had even confirmed this on the phone before bringing it in. Either someone was trying to scam me, or they don't know how to do their own jobs.
I brought my Jeep in to have some aftermarket parts put on it. Typical Jeep stuff. Keith in service was awesome to deal with. I told him I was on a tight timeline to get the Jeep back to bring it on vacation. Even though there was a lot to do, Keith made it happen. Nate in the shop worked like crazy to make sure it was ready in time. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone. It is refreshing to get some good service!!

I am VERY disappointed in my 2018 Jeep Compass that I purchased brand new here. Within a few months, the car TURNED OFF while I was mid-driving due to what Jeep called an "oil consumption problem". There was no warning or indicator light. I stayed on top of oil changes (requiring every 3,000 miles to avoid the problem) and am still dealing with this terrifying issue. I am told by Garavel that Chrysler will not replace the engine (the only fix) without additional tests that require me to drive the vehicle. The car only has 18,000 miles on it so this is quite upsetting as a first time Jeep buyer. Also a very common issue if you Google it - there really should be a recall. Someone is going to be seriously injured if Jeep doesn't take responsibility and fix this.

Bought a used 2010 Subaru from Garavel and very happy with it. just again took it back for its second scheduled oil change and found the work done quickly and so far they have not added any extra work to be done like most oil change chains always do. so I am 100% happy with this dealer and will go back when I need my next car. "Instant" oil changes have gone away. You now need to make an appointment. This was not part of the original deal when I purchased my vehicle nor was it communicated to me until I showed up for an oil change one day. You are told you will get free oil changes for the life of the vehicle. They fail to tell you that you will be required to pay them for other service charges like tire rotations in order to receive the free oil changes. When they gave me my car it had the name "Luke" keyed into the side of it. They buffed it out, "free of charge", but it seems like something they should have done before delivering my car. How do you service a car, place it on the lot, and not once think, "Hmm, maybe the new owner won't want the name Luke keyed into the side..."?
11/18/2015 - I made an appointment one month prior to get my oil changed as they have a waiting period. I arrived at 7:30AM and I waited for over an hour. I was told it would take longer because they needed to pickup my filter from across the road as it isn't one they stock. So it seems that switching from express to scheduled oil changes did not resolve the hour plus wait times. In response to: "The Wrangler is one of the most accessorized vehicles in the world, and it is not uncommon for someone to replace the fender flares with custom ones. If so, then the marks would be no issue to that buyer. Once the issue was raised upon your purchase of the vehicle, we made it right, and you took the vehicle." - I did not purchase a wrangler, it was a mercury mariner. Additionally I took the vehicle because I had already purchased it, not because you made it right. The attempt to buff out the scratches has left circular scratches on all of the doors.
1/30/2016 - had an appointment for an oil change at 8:15AM, it's 9:15AM and I'm still waiting for my car. I was told you can expect a 45 minute to 1 hour wait for an oil change even if you make an appointment ahead of time. When you purchase your car, remember the "free" oil changes are for over an hour of your time. It might be more efficient to have your vehicle serviced elsewhere.
I was looking to buy a new Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Rob was the right person to talk to. For 2017, Chrysler Corp offers about 9 specially equipped factory models to choose from. After telling Rob what exactly I wanted in my new Jeep, he decided it would be best to order a custom made one from the factory. We ordered one with exactly what I wanted on it, with just the right combination of features and accessories that were compatible, thanks to Rob. I was pleasantly surprised that that the car came in to the dealership in only 3 weeks! Dealing with Garavel Chrysler and Wrangler Rob was great!
Will never recommend this dealership to anyone. Had an appointment with Jorge at 11:00am, showed up right on time, and the sales rep was busy. Didn t think it would be an issue since they informed me that we would be helped by the next available rep. My wife and I waited for 30 minutes in our car and watched a family that arrived after us be assisted. After asking for assistance, we were finally helped by David W. He asked me what I was looking for, and I told him I wanted to lease a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. He gave me a few prices that were out of my budget. The rep seemed to be almost annoyed with our presence and showed no interest in helping us find the right car. I asked about any used Jeep wranglers, and the salesman told me All of that is on our website. Pull up all the cars on your phone and we ll look at them. Every question I had, he referred to the information being on the website. Seemed like he had no knowledge of the cars on the lot. To make matters worse, when he went inside to get some more information on a used Wrangler, we watched him come back outside and completely walk past where we were standing and began assisting another family. We were truly disgusted at the service, immediately got in our car, and went to Scap Auto Group in Fairfield. Within 15 minutes of speaking with their sales rep, he convinced me of looking at a Jeep Cherokee. Long story short, I was sold. Good customer service can really go a long way.
If i could i wouldn't even give them a single star.. I was trying to get a new Ram.... Gave them deposit, the I was told that car will be there in 2-3 weeks.. after 3 weeks waiting for the car to be delivered from other dealership, I was told that that car was sold ... and i need to start the whole process from the beginning.. what a disappointing experience.
