Luxurious hotel lots of restaurants open and closed with different kitchens

Beautiful atmosphere with many options for enjoyment

It has a wonderful view, quite and the stuff are so friendly

Wonderful and crowded and strategically located
The room is good and the service is quick
The breakfast is varied and delicious and the staff is lovely and serviced and everyone welcomes.
El Geneina is the most important milestone you should visit for lunch or dinner. There is a music band some times.
Construction, restoration and painting have caused some inconvenience.

Great service. With several menus. Very good wifi. Excellent atmosphere!

You feel that you entered a time portal to the world of Egypt during the days of the addition

Everything is excellent except the furniture needs renovation

We are SO coming back here. We love this place, great rooms, spectacular views, first class service throughout our stay, many FANTASTIC restaurants and on our last morning, breakfast on our balcony facing the Nile.
Oh and the live piano playing in the lobby every so often was nothing short of magical, hearing it whisper in the air whilst walking through the regal and opulent former palace.
Really special- HIGHLY recommend.

Staff: the entire staff had no end of smiles, ginuine interest in helping us and asking sure our stay was amazing. In particular, the front desk, whose English was exceptional, remembering us by face and asking about tours.

Architecture: no shortage of photo backdrops here. The restoration of what was originally a palace takes your breath away

View: Zamelek is a 2 mile island, and most hotel sit snuggly by the water.

Location: walking distance to museum and Cairo tower and boat cruise

Hotel is very large and spacious but reception is a bit small.
But the drawback is that the furniture is a bit old.
