Staff: the entire staff had no end of smiles, ginuine interest in helping us and asking sure our stay was amazing. In particular, the front desk, whose English was exceptional, remembering us by face and asking about tours.

Architecture: no shortage of photo backdrops here. The restoration of what was originally a palace takes your breath away

View: Zamelek is a 2 mile island, and most hotel sit snuggly by the water.
