If there was any chamber to join in the Des Moines area its this one. The staff actually wants to help your business to grow, so if you have any questions they will take the time to help you. Also you have to do the work and be active as much as possible to get the full effects of this chamber.

Over the last 3 years, I've had the honor of serving as an Ambassador for the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce in Lincoln, NE and I currently serve as a volunteer on the Engagement Council for the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce. I can say with utmost assurance that the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce is a first-class organization wholly committed to growing and developing their members' businesses. President Tiffany Menke and the Chamber's connectors go above and beyond to make new members feel comfortable and put them in front of others who can change their businesses. On top of that, the AM Exchange is the best chamber event I've ever been to in any city. The balance of structure and open networking offers an immediate ROI for attendees and is a model that should be duplicated across the country.

The Urbandale Chamber IS central Iowa's business chamber. I have belonged to many local chambers and Urbandale, the only 5 star accredited chamber in the metro, is by far the best at connecting businesses to create win-win situations. The Urbandale Chamber of Commerce is a dynamic and vibrant chamber of commerce. I joined the chamber in 1987 when the chamber was a totally volunteer run organization to today's version which is an energetic highly active and fun organization with an aggressive motivated professional leadership team.
