On 02/17/19 I was visiting and the experience could not be more bad. We were about 40 minutes sitting at the table waiting for us to attend and when we finally got it, it was only to clean the table and give us the letter, the next 20 minutes they went unattended and seeing that other tables were rising in a bad mood, for such a terrible service and food dishes that returned some, well nothing ..... We decided to leave quickly.
Appalling

Did you know that you can do different activities from this place without having to stay?

A few weeks ago we decided to visit this place as we wanted to look for different options without having to go inland (avoiding roadblocks).

We take a super cool tour that you can do with any member of your family.

We visited their Sloth Sanctuaries (you learn a lot about these animals), butterfly farm, orchid nursery where they have a beautiful specimen of the Flower of the Holy Spirit and several trails to walk.

In total they have 4 trails which can take you from 20 minutes to 1 hour to walk.

For a matter of time, we could only go one but I think it is one of the most interesting.

This takes you to the shore of Gatun Lake and it only took us about 20 minutes.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, if you plan to walk the trails with good shoes, for nothing in the world can you leave your repellent and a lot of water.

There are also other activities that you can see on their website and also see our experience on the YouTube channel (Leany Salazar)

Definitely worth a visit, located where The Chagres River feeds the Canal. Plenty of Eco activities. If visiting Agua Clara Lock and traveling back to Miraflores Locks a good place to stop have lunch..

This was an incredible experience! The entire staff was wonderful and accommodating despite the language barrier. I did not notice an abundance of mosquitoes as others complained about. Not to say there were not any, but we were in the midst of the rain forest and right on the water so it would be foolish to expect otherwise...that is what the Off is for. The only drawback was the food. While good, it was not exceptional and there is not really anywhere else to go that is convenient.

In a nice place to share with family and ecological guides are excellent and the food spectacular but they take a long time to serve drinks and water you have to be calling and then running around to get the bill. I almost lost the Tour, they must improve a lot the street to go to the cable car.

Set in the middle of the Rainforest the views from the rooms are exceptional. Very pleasant staff that go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. Lots of excursions with very knowledgeable guides.

At first, I was going to given them a 4 star because of the magnificent views and forgive the way the resort looks (windows not cleaned, buffet not up to par, etc.). Nevertheless, during checkout, a resort employee came next to me and made some racist and disrespectful remarks to the male and female front desk related to a couple who were also guests at the resort without regard that I was there and heard his comments. It made me extremely uncomfortable.

After reading a million reviews and seeing many pictures I was very excited to spend time in this resort. Literally within 30 minutes of checking in I returned to the front desk to make arrangements to check out a night early and I could have just left and gone to another hotel I would have. Even though cancellation policy is 24 hours and my last night was more than 24 hours they would not refund my nights stay. I disliked this resort so much I did not care and left early anyway. The tours are garbage. There are so few staff for such a large resort that you end up with little to no service at all. No one will ever answer the front desk phone, there is no room service. The whole place looked like it was very old and just barely kept standing. But after reading it is only roughly 15 years old. It was probably very nice in the first few years but now it in s very run down. The place is overrun by day tour business that get brought in by buses all day everyday. The pool was once very nice and now run down. There were large numbers of people with day passes partying at the pool that were not overnight guests. They were very drunk and controlled most of the pool area. Imagine 40+ people in the pool drinking none stop for hours and never seen to leave the pool other than to get more drinks and never to use a bathroom. You can use your imagination. In the room there was a dehumidifier that was not explained for use and needed to be drained every few hours or the place is impossible to sleep in. The bathroom had mold all over. Which in would not have an issue with being as it is jungle and tropical if I hadnt been spending the kind of money or night that is charged. I went on a full day trip of peacock bass fishing and other than the natural beauty and the amazing canal it was disappointed in the lack luster of the tour guide. I have traveled all over the world, stayed in very nice places and places that cost 6 dollars a night. This place is right on the top 3 of my least favorite places ever in 20 years.

I accidentally double booked (my computer froze) a 2 night stay on Booking.com, being overcharged $295. I made multiple calls and in the end, it was up to the resort to refund me. When I arrived, I immediately spoke with the manager, and she said she would contact the booking agency. Before I left the resort, the manager said I would receive my refund in about 7 days. I have still not received any refund and it s been months. I have sent numerous emails to the resort, and tried to contact them on Facebook. No one has responded. I m absolutely appalled that I was lied to, and virtually no attempt to help me was made. For the customer service as this resort, I would not recommend it.

Stunning location in tropical jungle. Service is great with relaxing pools and great restaurant. Yes, maintenance needs some work. Air conditioner works but sounds like airplane jets all the time.

It was a nice place, very comfortable and great to spend time with your grandparents i think . It's relaxing. With pools, a variety of foods and good service. There are many things you can do there, visit its webpage or call 'em. Maybe you've found the best place to that little vacation you wanted to do long time

Excellent location of the hotel in the middle of the jungle a unique and special concept.

The hotel staff was friendly and treated us very well we had problems with bed and air conditioning and in both times they changed rooms and helped a lot.

The food is expensive and there are not many alternatives, when we arrived we were only offered buffet at $ 25 + 7% rooms have a mini refrigerator and they could take cold snacks.

On one of the nights we decided to go to dinner at the Radisson hotel which is nearby and even the food is expensive and not very surprising.

In summary it is an excellent hotel where the relaxation and disconnection of the city are guaranteed, it is worth it even taking into account the little alternative of food.

I give them 5 stars in spite of the inconveniences that made them deserve a 4, but their attitude to solving problems is something essential that several hotel chains forget, my congratulations to the management of the hotel, we had a great time and we would not hesitate return!

Impressive initial view of lobby however resort in dire need of upgrades. Seems very unloved and musty. Most areas seemed abondonded by management. Wifi very unstable for those needing to be connected. A good place for those wanting to be closer to nature. Walking trails close by to set white-faced and howler monkeys as well as Toucans and other exotic birds in their natural habitat. Expect to get hosed for food and drink. E.g. A non-alcoholic colada priced at US$10 including tip... You could stay 10 mins away at the Radisson Summit for a better deal and take a day trip to Gamboa Resort grounds ... take the boat tour of Lake Guton for $40 to get some good photos of birds, monkeys and crocs. Good potential but needs a revamp

The service was great. It was a very beautiful experience. I really like the nature especially waking up to the different birds singing in the morning. The food was great. This is a great place to visit because you are close to the canal, the animals, and the zoo. The staff was very friendly, willing to take care of you in a minutes notice.

Unpleasant experience, Today during the Brunch, its background music throughout the entire hotel and its recreational areas, sounded the song of the Panamanian Singer Xanophobic Saik, which denigrates the Venezuelan woman, I do not know how a hotel of this category, agrees to support this type of disrespect. Where are the Values of this organization?
