Beautiful and isolated. Perfect to disconnect from everything

It is a very special place. Many ecological activities.

The place does not disappoint! Consistently great food and service. Plus, it's just beautiful out there! Enjoy!

Its facilities are a little neglected but the natural landscape of the hotel does not stop fascinate.

It s unfortunate this is the only place in Gamboa you can stay at that isn t a dirty, rundown hostel. Here s what bothered me:

*Laundry service doesn t exist. I dropped it off after being told it d be done in 24 hours. They told me it didn t get done and gave me back my dirty laundry and couldn t do it at this time. What?!

*Found 2 cockroaches in my room, found more around in the halls.

*Massage is very poor. I tipped the masseuse still and she acted like she was upset about it.

*my cocktails, on two occasions, has dead flies/gnats/mosquitos I them. The ice was dirty.

*monkey bar service is awful. They care more about watching the basketball game then their guests.

*the staff, except a couple of them, have very poor attitudes and are very passive aggressive when you try to speak English. They correct your Spanish when you try.

*shower water pressure is a drizzle.

All in all - not worth the money. Next time I ll look for an AirBnb.

If any of the staff are reading this - F you for a horrible stay.

Absolutely fabulous! Excellent buffet breakfast and dinner with international & local cuisine. Fabulous day & night tours. 3 pools with basketball & volleyball courts. Hiking trails etc, you name it they have it.

Absolutely stunning. Staff speaks mostly spanish so can be slightly difficult at times but they try so hard and are amazing at what they do. The rooms and views are stunning!

In the run-up to Christmas, there is unacceptable construction noise on the hotel grounds. Compressor and generator noises, construction site vehicles, chainsaws and pallet trucks disturb the idyll. No chirping birds without background noise. At the weekend loud disco music by the pool. Rainforest ???

At the end of a long road, at the end on the Canal is this amazingly beautiful resort. It looks out over a lake off the canal area. Grand views I side and out.

not very attentive staff, most things at the resort were not included in the pass. did not live up to expectations compared to how much i payed . would not recommend.

I have already gone several times and the place I still like because it is nice, because I enjoy nature and the hotel is the perfect option to spend some time in harmony with the environment. However, there are important points to improve such as the care and maintenance of the facilities.

The restaurant in the same way a little disorganized. The tables did not fill them as they were emptying, but rather seemed to take turns (one group would come out and then another would come in). There was no waiting list for those who were outside, it depended on the memory of the person who charged and also let people in.
Facilities: there were some basic things like paint that could be taken care of in some areas.
Food: good!

Beautiful place!!! Wao!!! The view is top 1 !!! A paradise for birdwatchers !! And home of the route of one of the toughest 1/2 Marathon in the continent... the humidity is brutal!!!

The hotel is ok. Very nice atmosphere. A lot of people sitting around twirling fingers. The sloth tour not on Mondays but when down at the bldg there was a tour. Just left & moved on. Why not just sell tickets.. Even the $22/prsn is steep. Very disorganised and on minana time.

Very nice, outdoors, lots of vegetation and wildlife ....

The attention is good but some of the amenities are not well run, for example you have to go to the front desk for the swimming pool towels....500 mt away

We did the canopy tour - our guide was wonderful and pointed out a variety of plants / animals during our walk and included several interesting stories along the way.

Very good place to spend as a family, excellent food, very good service. All that compensates for a little maintenance that the pool area needs. Even so, I recommend the place.

Today I visited the Gamboa Forest Resort hotel at noon for lunch. And the background music in all areas sounded the song of the xenophobic mrsaiko, rejected by the majority of citizens for denigrating Venezuelan women. How does a hotel of this category allow this lack of respect? this xenophobia?

This place is a great experience. It's a getaway from a vacation. It has a great old world feel. The rooms are great size, the exhibits are worth doing and seeing. I look forward to my return.

The surroundings are wonderful and the staff of the tours very friendly, but the hotel has been left to deteriorate terribly. The food is terrible and expensive. The service simply absent. A shame

All the architecture of the place, seems frozen in time

The resort is in a good location but the rooms and the whole area is dated. A renovation would have been indicated for a long time. Since there is nothing else in the area, you have no other way to stay, except in Panama City od. Colon (not recommendable.). The kitchen would be good, but the menu is always a lot "out" (you can only eat there) which I think is a pity. It is then offered the buffet-at $ 25 too expensive. We would not go there anymore!

Really great place to stay, large clean rooms, magnificent lobby and central area, helpful and friendly staff.

Gamboa Rainforest is an excellent idea to have contact with nature and breathe fresh air.

Ideal to rest, the boat ride is super interesting I recommend them. Meals and drinks to satisfaction

I have not stayed but, it is a beautiful place to contemplate the nature, architecture and design of the hotel, extremely exotic

The hotel is beautiful and the staff very attentive. The cleanliness of the rooms leaves much to be desired, there is a strong smell of mold. The food is good but not something that impresses.

Amazing staff and service! The food was great, the views amazing, and the rooms rustic but had all of the modern convinces!

Also as I was leaving the area around 2:00 the hotel staff called to alert me that I left my tablet in the room. I couldn't believe that they returned it and we're so quick about informing me!

Scenic. Great view of the rainforest and Chagres River. Really good food. Very nice pool complex.

The cost of the cable car (we did not see a bird, but the view is great, it hurts that although there is not much tourist they do not let you stay the time you want ... so it takes longer to go up and down than what we were and visit the peresozos, ranario, mariposuario) $ 50 usd (minimum you should give yourself a small glass of water and lend binoculars ...



The rich buffet the delicious wuauuuu desserts ... 40 usd.

A lot of money for the tour for what it is ... but good to enjoy it

Well I work here the truth, very good place if you want to know nature, tours In boats and a good dessert!

Food can improve a bit

The location of the hotel is super privileged. The views are beautiful and the contact with nature very relaxing. The food is rich, the attention was careful, the facilities are fine but they lack a bit of maintenance. The hotel offers great walks.

Magical place, delicious food, super friendly staff, amazing rooms, Super clean. I love. I recommend it.

The service was terrible. Waited over 30 minutes for service. Even after asking someone to take an order they forgot to cone to the table. Only after asking a second time did someone take the order.

Food arrived at different times for different people, maybe 10 mins apart. Burger had no taste and chicken wings tasted two days old.

Very disappointing.

A breathtaking view The hotel has a beautiful library with complete collections of books and open chess games for the viewers!

Cozy and with beautiful views and above all a place to leave behind the stress caused by large cities because this place is in a wooded tropical climate where you can enjoy and be part of all the services and attractions they offer their guests

Simply an incredible location. If you come by here and want to spend the money, you should stay for 1-3 nights, explore the canal by boat and experience the jungle by cable car.
