Galgorm Resort and Spa Review

You havnt lived until you visit this wonderful hotel. It's just amazing. The staff are fantastic.

The service was excellent. All the staff greeted you with a smile even when they walked pass you. The room was in immaculate condition and the restaurant was outstanding. I couldn't fault the food. I had a massage which I loved. The spa was good and wish there were more things to do as it was busy when I went and wish there was an extra hot tub outside as it was full of people. I would recommend it to a friend and would definitely go back

The grounds are positively gorgeous and the bar, while suffering from slightly slow service with a light customer load, was very pleasant and the ambiance was conducive to 4 guys having a great time over a couple of beers at a rectangular wooden table that seemed nicer than average.

I'm going to stay with my friend next week but had a few probs with my reservations I'm am happy to say after getting a call from the manager everything resolved and very impressed with efficiency and end result thank you chloe really looking forward to showing off your hotel and to my friend

Superb hotel and spa. Afternoon tea is a must, second to none and the thermal spa is fantastic. Proper 5 star customer service. We'll be back.

Spent 2 days here for the wedding of our Son. Fabulous place with all the amenities you could ask for. All the staff were great and couldn't do enough for you. Contrary to belief the prices are very reasonable for what you get. On site Italian restaraunt and grill which were fantastic. And it has it's own pub.
Rooms very comfortable. We had a cottage which had it's own kitchen which we did not use but would be great for families. It had a complimentary bar/fridge which was stocked with wine,beer and fizzy pop daily.
It's situated in massive grounds and right next to the river. A really beautiful scenic place.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying here on Sunday/Monday. My daughter and l had the most fantastic time. From entering the door we were treated like royalty by every single member of staff. The ambience throughout was sheer luxury. We had a wonderful afternoon tea. We ate in Fratelli's at night and it too was fabulous! Such precious memories made! Thank you to all the staff! Hope to return!

Incredible Spa Hotel/resort. I went for a wedding and it was excellent. Probably one of the best/biggest Spas that I have been to.

Was at my niece wedding. Day was fantastic from start to finish food was amazing and staff friendly and very attentive.

You do everything at your own pace. Its clean and inviting with friendly helpful staff. I found it very relaxing. Food is delicious.

The hotel was lovely and the wedding was nice. Our room has no hot water which was a bit of a dampener but we enjoyed our trip.

Hi all when I booked for one night stay for an 18 anniversary at the galgorm spa I received a email to confirm booking this was all ok until I got a call to say i need to book my breakfast and dinner so we booked or breakfast but couldn't decide on dinner the reception said it was ok to wait until we got there and could let them know when we got there two days later I got a call to say i need to book my dinner time I told this girl I was told it was ok to wait this girl was adamant and made me feel pressured into booking now I told I need to get back to you with a time on getting back with in 10min I was talking to a different girl and this girl told me it's ok to wait so we did until we got there on arrival there was a big concrete lorry onsite and builers working at the side of the hotel and along the river and builers walking through the spa none of this was on website or told to us at time of booking dont get me wrong first time going to the galgorm last year was blissful after a stressful year this year going I feel it was not as good as the first time with the phone calls on times for dinner and builders onsite these where the only things that upset us apart from all that bar staff , food waiters, and spa staff , and the door men at the main door to the hotel couldn't of been nicer all staff are a cridet to the galgorm spa

I got the "twilight package" with some friends, which gave us use of the thermal village and dinner at Gillies. It was fantastic value for money. The staff were friendly, the facilities were great, and the food was lovely. All in beautiful surroundings. Could not fault anything about my evening.

Amazing wedding venue enhanced by the snow we had the evening before my sons big day. It turned the already stunning setting into a winter wonderland straight out of any glossy magazine.

Went for a birthday spa with my husband. Limited capacity due to covid but it was done excellently and was a lovely experience. Thank you to all staff involved

Literally best place on planet earth. Deluxe room is essential to book.

Kind of disappointed. Food was amazing. But we came there to get away from life and mostly people.. but it was so packed that we couldn't do anything. Jacuzzis, pools and steamrooms where overflowing. Our bed sheets and my robe was covered in makeup.

Omg wat an amazing massage I had on my stay at the spa. Lady was called Nora Could not have asked for better absolutely heaven xx

We booked to stay here for what would have been our wedding weekend if we didn't postpone because of covid, and it absolutely did not disappoint! Even with some restrictions it was absolute heaven! We were already looking up dates for our next visit before we checked out!

We photographed a wedding at Galgorm at the end of December. Staff where very friendly and accommodating and the grounds offer some good opportunities for wedding photography. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel but some of the restaurant staff seemed a bit cheeky which i wasn't impressed with, being a guest.

Another great stay at the galgorm. Spa, restaurant, rooms and all staff excellent. Only two disappointing points for me; I find it odd and off-putting walking past all the rooms to get to the deluxe reception desk and the paths through the serenity garden have poor levels and drainage meaning you have to walk through many puddles in your spa slippers. Neither spoiled our stay but room for improvement.

Went for a 30th birthday celebration. Afternoon tea, deluxe room, access to the spa & a 3 course evening meal with breakfast in the morning. Couldn't have asked for more. Great staff & facilities. The extension to the thermal spa is unreal! Not going to lie - it is expensive but so so worth it!

Absolutely superb thermal village, excellent staff, fratellis seem to take more bookings than they can actually deal with, leading to an overall disappointing meal experience at times. A truly plush getaway, would highly recommend you treat your loved one just so you can tag along.

A little peice if heaven not far from home. Seen so many videos of it when my friends had visited and i knew i had to try it out. From entering the premises it was a lovely experience. Lovely we receptionist, staff are as nice as the surroundings. Thermal suite was lovely . If in need of de stressing this is just the place for you. Nice we girls break but im sure prefect as a romantic break aswell. I think this my new guilty pleasure. I look forward to going again. Thanks to the staff for an enjoyable experience.

I've now had the pleasure of staying here on several occasions, both for business and also for short breaks - it's easily the best Resort & Spa that I've visited across Scotland & the North of Ireland - and I'd include Gleneagles in that analysis.

The staff are extremely welcoming and the the facilities, food and location are simply perfect.

If you're looking to entertain or reward staff/clients alike, the Rolls Royce add's a finer dimension to the experience to ensure that the occasion is uniquely memorable from the outset.

I've not had the pleasure of meeting the owners as yet, but hope to do so at some point in the future.

Cannot recommend this place any more highly.

Beautiful and relaxing, increadably scenic. The staff can't do enough for u and the heated stone seats are just amazing. Definatly recommend for a day away.

Galgorm Spa has expanded again since our last visit. Excellent facilities all round, more spas and relaxing areas. Aboundance of staff all around. Sanitising everywhere regularly, Just finished our meal in Gilles. Fantastic, Staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly. Looking forward to our breakfast in the morning and a hour in the thermal village before we leave. Thanks again Galgorm Spa for another fantastic stay. No other hotel compares. 5 Star +

Came for the spa treatment and afternoon tea. Pricey but definitely worth it. The spa has all sorts. You wouldn't get better anywhere in Ireland

Went for a wedding on the 19th of August and everything was perfect

First time at Galgorm Manor, for a family wedding. A superb experience! Beautiful setting. Wedding ceremony was in the 'Ghost room's, with reception in The Renaissance Suite. Decor, food, service were outstanding. The setting - gardens, river, buildings, lighting - exceptional. We were only there for the day, but family members were staying at the hotel so we saw a room and it was very comfortable. Apparently, breakfast is great and the spa facilities looked exceptional. We will be going back to Galgorm for a break soon.
