I ordered chairs with an upgraded cushion. The cushions that arrived were not as specified. I immediately contacted FLS. I even sent pictures of the cushion inserts and the correct cushion inserts from a chair I already have the same manufacturer. The FLS sales person has been slow to respond and rude when he does respond. I am told that FLS and the manufacturer are in disagreement over the way the order was put in the system. The FLS salesperson does acknowledge that I paid for the upgraded cushions. It has been 3 weeks and their is no resolution. Needless to say I have not had a good experience with FLS.

Friendly staff that is there to answer your questions but not too pushy. I worked with Frank at Funitureland South Outlet and Lisa Ryan at Funitureland South on Main.
Make sure you work your way up the ladder. Start at Funitureland South Salvage which is a nondescript building with no cars parked in front of it next to Funitureland South on Main. The prices are insane as crazy eddie used to say. The problem is inventory. These are markdowns due to discontinuation or slight imperfections.
Then walk across the parking lot to Funitureland South on Main. Great pricing--not as good as Salvage but pretty good. What you see on the floor is what they have. Once it's sold off the floor, they replace it with something new.
My friend and I think Ray is the greatest! He has the answers for all our questions. Knows EVERYTHING! He remains unobtrusive when you re exploring on your own, but is there in a flash when you need him.
He must be one of your finest decorators. He knows colors and how they work together. We had a great day with him.
If I could give FLS a 0 review...I would. They don t deserve even a 1 at this point. In November I drove down to FLS from NJ. I spent 4hrs going through picking furniture and fabrics with a sales representative. I ordered a 3pc sectional, a chair and 1/2 plus ottoman, bar table, 2 bar stools, a coffee table and side table. I paid a 50% deposit in November with the promise of my upholstered furniture coming in 9-11wks to FLS and the 5pieces of unupholsteed furniture coming 7-9wks to FLS.
I emailed my sales rep in January for an update on my order. She emailed back saying she reached out to king Hickory (KH) for an update but didn t hear about my upholstered 5pcs yet. I contacted my sales rep again 2wks later, still no update on upholstered King Hickory pcs.
TWELVE WEEKS after my order was placed and 50% deposit was paid to FLS I finally receive an update that the fabrics for not only one piece but for both pieces (different fabrics mind you) were on back order and expected to arrive at KH the following week. This would mean my original order lead time of 9-11wks is now 16+wks.
One week later I get an update that one fabric was received at KH but the other is on backorder until April 6 (meaning the sectional will not be delivered to FLS until end of May). SIX MONTHS AFTER MY 50% DEPOSIT WAS TAKEN AND ORDER PLACED AT FLS!!!
Then...they send me alternate fabrics for my sectional. They had the balls to send me fabric of a lesser grade and quality as a substitute to the fabric I chose in November at there store.
I manager, Blair Ingle, has been copied by me on all of the emails going back and forth to FLS, the sales representative and the sales manager. I have yet to hear anything at all from Blair Ingle. Nice management style Blair!!
Even though I am out of state, Furniturelandsouth made purchasing a buffet for my dining room easy! Tim was very helpful; texting me additional pictures of the buffet which happened to be displayed on their floor. I previously searched my state and many websites online and Furniturelandsouth had the best price. Win Win! I can t wait for delivery!

Very DISAPPOINTED. The sales person told us our furniture will be delivered in 4 to 6 weeks max. Its been almost 3 months we have not gotten our delivery. When I call on weekends I am told to call on weekdays, when I call on week day I am put on hold for a long time.
We always have a wonderful experience at Furnitureland South. Deborah Bennett always helps us find the perfect piece and handles our transactions seamlessly. As always, we ll be back when we re furniture shopping again.
We found a sofa and manufacturer we like so overall, it was a good experience! We found the pricing in the Clearance building confusing and if it was easier to make sense of it, we might have bought more. We are still looking for a sectional and chairs......
If I could go lower I would. The initial visit was very positive and we were given free delivery and a promise that we could return our temper pedic mattress if we did not like it. The devil is in the details! Scheduling our first delivery was nightmare. They said that we would have pick up our mattress at the bottom of our mountain neighborhood and drive it to our house. The initial delivery date kept moving. We now are waiting for the remainder of our very expensive purchase and have to provide transportation again, as the fine print in the contract committed us to that. The current delivery date has now moved three times with no commitment to deliver. This is unbelievable service. No help has been provided with the moving delivery date. We also sold our furniture based upon the initial committed delivery date. Empty room and empty promises. We will never shop here again. Our local furniture store said they would have matched the prices we got.
Just spent the day at Furnitureland South with Sherry Needles and couldn't be happier. She stayed with us from opening til closing to make sure we found everything we needed to finish furnishing our new home. We were disappointed when we got home and realized we had to cancel one item because it wouldn't fit, but Sherry reassured us that she'd find something else.
Placed an order in excess of $50,000 for our new home in CA. Delivery men damaged home, and several pieces were damaged. Fast forward a month later, issues have yet to be resolved related to the damaged items.
Kim was extremely prompt and helpful to us. It made our decision to order from Furnitureland South very easy. We had never ordered furniture on line like this before, and Kim gave us the confidence to feel comfortable in doing so
Lots to choose from, helpful concierge service, good protection plan offered, and delivery available. I wish there was a lower priced "clearance" type section, but maybe the higher prices are reflected in the quality? Time will tell.
I traveled to FS and met Christine Eddy to purchase barstool and dining room chairs. Although I didn't find the right dining room chairs that satisfied my appetite, I did find barstools that I fell in love with. Christine recommended several designers she felt would meet my style preference. Once I identified some viable options, I could email my choices to her and she would provide a price quote based on fabric selections and quantity. I found Christine to be professional, patient, a good listener and extremely helpful. The order process was seamless and I look forward to working with her in the future to find the perfect modern dining room chairs for my home.

We have purchased 10 pieces of furniture through Furnitureland South and have been pleased with the total experience. Sales personnel were courteous and professional. They were extremely helpful during the decision making process.
Had to continually monitor errors on the order the order form. Ended up receiving side tables that did not fit the furniture. Representative followed up indicating it was an error on my part. Wanted payment for correcting error made by company when the tables were a free promo. Ended up disputing payment. Company finally offered replacement tables and took the cost from the commision of the agent. Even that order was incorrect and had to advise them to correct. Too many mistakes. Save all correspondence ! Furniture is beautiful and we are enjoying it.
I understand that quality furniture comes at a price. But really people!! I was in the outlet center. The price point was ridiculous for items FLS wanted to clear from inventory in an outlet setting. Probably won't go back.
I bought a white canvas sleep sofa 7 years ago from you 7 years ago and it s held up beautifully! I decided I want to switch out the 2 seat cushions for a one piece seat cushion. You had my invoice on file with all the information, contacted the manufacturer and made it happen !! Thank you Furnitureland South. You guys are the best !!!!
I have been buying furniture at Furnitureland South for probably eight years, I had bought a Kincaid dinette set and Hutch, my hutch after I owned it about six months start splitting on the doors, they said it was called seasoning cracks so they agreed to replace the doors. They brought out new doors, the doors they brought out, by their own admission was worse then ones I had, so they took the doors back. Customer Support said Kincaid agreed to replace the entire hutch now, and I said all right that's great. The rude driver brought out the new hutch it was unwrapped, not protected at all, there was damage on every single door and the drawers and he said they don't call that damage it's just called from bouncing around on the truck, I told him if they had left it wrapped up like the original the damage never would've happened and he said well again we don't call that damage it's just from back bouncing around on the truck, so I refused the piece of furniture, then the Acct Rep from Furnitureland South called and said they are only required to repaired it and they were going to send it back out and I told her I don't want a piece of furniture that every single door and drawer on it had to be repaired and touched up I want it with the factory finish so I don't have to worry about it chipping or peeling or something 5 or 10 years down the road and she said were only responsible for repairing it, if we can repair it then we repair it and send it back out, I said the one I have now never had any damage it just has season cracks now she said well we're only responsible per the manufacture to repair it if we can and send it back out, I said why do I have to take a piece of furniture that your company damage by not wrapping it securely and bringing it to me like the original and now you've repaired every single door and drawer and you're saying I have to take it because you repaired it with touchup, she said because we can repair it you have to take it and I said but I didn't cause the damage, the manufacture didn't cause the damage, your company furnitureland South made the damage, why do I have to take it now and she said that's all she can offer me, so she said I'll just send out three doors we repaired and you can store them so when yours break you'll have these as back up but refused to send out a new hutch even though they damaged the hutch that was replaced by Kincaid. I'm feeling they don't want to call Kincaid and tell Kincaid they damage that piece of furniture so what they're going to do is put it in their inventory because it didn't cost them anything and they're going to put it on their showroom floor as damaged and sell it so they're going to do nothing but make profit from it, that's why they didn't want to call Kincaid back and ask Kincaid to replace the hutch again, so I'm now stuck with a hutch that all of it is splitting, the one that they brought me was completely damage due to, as the guy said, bouncing around on their truck and not being protected, not being wrapped and I have a cracking hutch, she's going to send me out three doors that are you know where damaged because they are coming off the hutch that came out for replacement and they had to touch them all up and she told me I could store them somewhere until mind split and break in half I told her I didn't want the doors I wanted a new hutch, they damaged the replacement, it's not my fault and she said no the most they will do is repair the one that's damaged and bring it back to me, so now I'm going to receive three doors from them that are damaged they repaired to replace the doors on my original that are damaged from it seasoning and cracking and I still have the sides of my hutch cracking and because Furnitureland South does not want to tell Kincaid because they caused the damage, and they would have to pay for it they are not willing to replace it, I have to live with the original that is damage and splitting everywhere versus taking the one they brought out that has damage everywhere as well, that to me is an "F" rating!!!
Purchased a leather recliner and a queen headboard. Sales rep was Anne H., assisted by Robin and Mackenzie. They did an excellent job helping me to get the most suitable recliner. I have some unique requirements and Anne understood that and was very helpful. I had seen the chair I wound up buying earlier in the week. It was marked down $1500 a few days later which made it a fantastic buy and it met my requirements. I configured a headboard from Precedent with Anne's design assistance. She spent a lot of time with me and never pressured me to buy. I showed her photos of my BR and furniture and she did a good job of matching that with the headboard material. This was a very good sales experience, and I highly recommend these folks and FLS for your furniture needs.
We can t say enough about the support that Emily and the furniture rep from Kincaid furniture in selecting our sofa. We had another manufacturers sofa for the past 6 years. We paid WAY too much for that inferior piece. With Furnitureland South s expertise, we feel confident that we have purchased the perfect piece for our needs - and we are paying a significant amount less for better quality.
Such a great experience shopping with Jaid and Karen. They both made things so easy and made excellent suggestions. Any change or tweak to the order was no problem at all. I can't say enough good things about our experience with FLS!

We saw all the furniture we needed to see efficiently abd effectively. Very personable and professional. Don't want to lose her to a competitor. We will buy future furniture from Kayla and recommend her to others.
Furnitureland South is the one stop shop to get the best feel for what's out there in furniture. They have all the name brand and massive showrooms in 3 buildings. Wear a good pair of walking shoes. Sales staff is also very helpful. I like to have them point me in the right direction when I am looking for something, then take off on my own. In this case, it was Claire Blackwell who assisted me at the beginning and was there a couple hours later after I had gone through every showroom to help me with my purchase. If you want access to the furniture capital of the world, but can't get into the dealers showrooms during furniture market, then you need to come here. It's also great they have a Subway and a Starbucks inside, so you can get your caffeine on, take a break or reward yourself at the end.
Furniture Land South makes it so easy to do business with! I just ordered two carpets and was given a great price and the process was simple. I look forward to shopping there again.
Dedra Powers was our Furnitureland South sales design consultant. She did an absolutely outstanding job of directing our project. We were shopping for a dining room table and chairs and buffet along with counter stools. We shopped for a reclining family room chair and sofa, and two additional chairs, that swiveled and rocked. We also found a room area rug and a floor lamp. We shopped for a bedroom set, including queen bed, chest of drawers, dresser with mirror, and night stands. Additionally we shopped for a bar height table, stools, and bar height stools with backs that swiveled. We were also fortunate to accomplish finding a sectional sofa for the cottage. All of the above in less than 12 hours. Dedra was the consumate professional and advisor, while staying on task and meeting our goals/objectives. We are very grateful that we were able to connect with her on this new visit.

We had a great salesperson, Ann, who was very patient as we examined their huge inventory of recliners in search of just the right one. The pricing we received was only slightly better than I could have obtained on line. That's where the happy experience ended. Trying to schedule delivery has been a nightmare. We have a tight schedule and were given a very limited choice of delivery dates. We changed our schedule to accommodate them and now cannot get them to call us back to confirm. I am not sure if or when we will get our chairs. I would not recommend shopping here.

I knew it was the one, afterward looking at others didn t take my heart from the first sectional. I definitely purchased it. She was absolutely professional and friendly. Our designer Deb pegram helped us easily pick an entire house of furniture. She was the best and knew exactly where in the rooms to show us what we wanted. We couldn't have had a better 2 days!!!
My salesperson Anne was so amazing. She not only had the piece I was looking for but it was at a great deal as it was being discontinued. There was some minor damage and they are repairing in house for me. The sales people are so responsive and helpful. In this age of horrible customer service, Furnitureland sets the bar quite high. I would definitely buy from them again!

We were looking for bedroom furniture . Ann Huynh was very efficient in navigating us through this enormous facility to find the furniture to fit our rooms , taste and budget. She did a fabulous job in helping us find the furniture to fit the smaller guest rooms... thinking out of the box.. and taking us to the youth furniture. She had us fitted for a mattress .. which was enlightening, and found the most economical option for us! For our future needs we will definitely ask for Ann again.
In person and on location had a great variety of furniture with assistance from very knowledgeable staff. We ordered couches as well as chairs with a plan of fully filling our entire house. Worth going to. One downside their online face is horrible, one of the most difficult systems I ve ever used. Almost didn t go to the location because the online system was so poor. Change your online system.
Best furniture store in the country, bar none. 1million square feet of store space with the best selection one could ask for. Every style from primitive, to mid century modern, to art deco, to orleanes style, beach, americana, natural wood, french country, and many many many more... Quality ranges anywhere from 5 - 10 with brands such as Klaussner, and Magnolia Home all the way to Thomasville, & Ralph Lauren, to Berndhart, to Hernadon, to Tommy Bahama and so on. Also has a Subway in it for when you get hungry. I mean this place has it all. I recommend getting ready to snap some photos with that smartphone, scan the tags, and prepare for a 3 day trip to see it all. You will need a map for this place for sure. Very fun place to visit/shop. Pricing is great too!

My husband and I recently spent two days here needing to find many items for a new home. From reviews, I had scheduled an appointment with Debbie Kennon, a design consultant. I cannot say enough positive things about Debbie! She made what otherwise would have been an overwhelming experience into a productive venture. Debbie is extremely knowledgeable about furnishings and design, and her warm personality made a daunting task for us into a successful, pleasurable experience. Also, the people in the rug department were phenomenal. Thank you all!
They have by far a huge collection of furniture and are quality focused. That I will not deny at all; however, their sales/designers are only focused on making the sale. Once we paid for our furniture everything that was promised (2 week delivery in written confirmation) no longer was applicable.
We are 3 months since we made the payment to the store and they still do not have the complete set for my daughters room that they indicated they had in their warehouse. So when I asked to just cancel the order they are trying to charge me fees because they will have to try to re-sell it.
They, the sales rep and the management team, take over week to respond to emails or phone calls, if they respond at all. Before we paid for the order, they were very eager to answer and assist. Once they received the payment they literally ignored our calls and emails. If I called from my number they would not answer but calling from a different cell, sure enough the phone was picked up.
Emails.... whew, I am just at a point of reaching out to BBB. Ridiculous. Be aware that once they get your money they don't care to assist. Any promises of delivery dates, even in writing they do not keep. Oh and I forgot to mention the best part of all, make sure you review the order multiple times and verify the SKU against what you actually are intending to order because they someone forget to pay attention to details and try to blame it on you. At least have witnesses to back you up.
Kristin was knowledgeable and patient with us. If we had a question she wasn t sure of she would defer to Matt. They both get 5 stars. I find FLS very overwhelming so they would probably get 4.5 stars. I wanted to spend less than we did but when you factor in free shipping and no high pressure salespeople, we are happy with the transaction. Of course, we haven t taken delivery yet.
We spent the day furniture shopping in High Point and the surrounding area. By far, Furnitureland South was the worst experience. They are so over priced I was sickened. We then went to the Outlet looking for less expensive furniture and found that to still be way over priced..... even for damaged furniture.
We requested a consultant who had a degree in interior design. Missy met us in the lobby and navigated us through the store. She was very knowledgeable as we had many questions about construction of the sofa, cushion options and fabric. She was absolutely wonderful and we would recommend her to anyone we know looking for furniture

My brother and sister in law highly recommended Furnitureland South and salesman Jason Campbell. Last year we special ordered two upholstered chairs and a matching ottoman. Unfortunately the chairs and ottoman all began fraying at the edges. This was due to faulty material not anything Furnitureland did or didn t do. What has been outstanding is how Furnitureland responded to our issue. Josh Merritt in customer service said not to worry and represented us with the chairs manufacturer and negotiated a full credit for our purchase. We then called our salesman, Jason Campbell, who met us when we went back to pick out replacements. He knew our taste and style and size that we needed. Within 45 minutes we found two leather chairs that will be perfect for our den. They reduced our price due to our travails, and applied our credit to the new purchase. We are waiting now for our two new chairs...we can t wait. We absolutely recommend Furnitureland South and Jason Campbell. We also recommend Josh Merritt should you need assistance from customer service. Overall, the selection, price and service cannot be beat.

After calling a few locations, Furniture Land South was able work with me to find a orice we both agreed upon.
