Our sales rep was courteous, very helpful, he gave us excellent suggestions.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. These guys have destroyed our Christmas by not delivering as promised. We visited the store in september placed the order for a sectional sofa. It was promised to be delivered by middle of November (4-6 weeks from the time of order). When I called in the second week of November to ask about delivery they said they cannot deliver in November ... and will try to expedite this to try to get it in December. Its Dec 23rd and I just got off the phone with them and they have no idea what happened to our order and they dont have a date for completion and/or deliver.

Bottom line, no one in furnitureland cares about customer service. They've had half the money for our order for 3 months without delivering ANYTHING... not even communicated about any delays or anything... Never going to this place again

I purchased $50K worth of furniture to furnish my ...

I purchased $50K worth of furniture to furnish my new home in San Diego at the time I was told I had to pay for the Guardsman insurance. Fast forward a few months, and one of my LORTS nightstands was not working properly. The wood had swollen and the drawers would not close. In speaking with Customer Service, they told me that was not what the Guardsman insurance was for and that the unit would have to be returned to the manufacturer for repair. I was uneasy about this approach but was left with no recourse. It has now been 2 months, and my nightstand has been lost by Furnitureland South. I have phoned multiple times, and have yet to receive the courtesy of a call back or status from anyone in Customer Service including the department Director. In short, they have stated via email they are trying to track it with their shipper as if that makes me feel better that my nightstand has been banging around in a truck for months, who knows where. Don't get sucked into thinking the Guardsman insurance program will protect your furniture and/or that Customer Service will follow-up with you. I was told my piece would be given priority status for repair, and the manager of Customer Service Diane E. indicated she would personally follow my item. After the unit was picked up from my home for repair all of this went out the window. No calls, no status, and now no disposition on where my piece is or when I will get it back! Everyone understands mistakes can happen but how mistakes are handled makes all the difference. I give Furnitureland South an F in this regard!

Designers Nick Gouge and Henry Lum Varela came to our rescue and helped us choose pieces that would work together and suit our taste, without breaking our budget. Many of the items cost a fraction of retail. We will be back.

I bought a king size Broughton Hall bed and

I bought a king size Broughton Hall bed and
Serta mattress in 2013. The bed started coming apart and I had to replace the box springs twice because they started to sink under my 220 lbs. the mattress sunk in because the box springs would not hold up. I purchased the Guardsman insurance for this furniture and they refused to honor it because I did not notify them within 5 days of the occurrence. I was late by a week. The worst furniture and company I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with.

I thought the salesperson, Paige, was phenomenal. The delivery men were extremely professional and wonderful, but the delivery process was poorly executed and ruined the excitement of receiving an entire house of furniture. The person in charge of delivery was rude and threatened to return everything to North Carolina because they sent too large of a semi to get in our driveway. A delivery from several weeks before said they would notify delivery of the type of truck to send. We ended up renting a uhaul at our expense and the men had to off load at another location in order to deliver the furniture. The night before delivery I was notified some of my pieces couldn't fit on the truck and I thought it was all my order was so large it didn't all fit. When the drivers arrived I found out they had 10 other very small deliveries to make after me. Why I wasn't prioritized over these small orders is ridiculous. Furniture Land South needs to reorganize the delivery part of their business because it is very disorganized and run poorly.

What can I say?! It was the most pleasant, efficient, outstanding furniture-buying experience I have ever had. I called Furnitureland South with and idea of what I was looking for and my sales rep helped over the phone to find me exactly what I had in mind at a crazy good price.

We have bought furniture from FLS for every house ...

We have bought furniture from FLS for every house we ve had for the last 20 years- in PA, NJ, NC, TX, and is FL. I always comparison shop and their prices have always been the best. Sales people are knowledgeable, patient, and responsive. Other than when we actually lived in NC, always did business remotely. Comparison shop, get the model and fabric numbers if applicable and FLS will beat their prices by a lot!

My wife and I came to FurnitureLand to search for a king bed, and we worked with Karen Beveridge. What a great experience! Karen quickly ascertained what we liked. We found a beautiful king bed and picked out stain color finish and fabric with her expert guidance.

We had a wonderful three days there as we always have. Kim Brafford and her dad, Harold Moose, make furniture shopping a breeze. Everyone we encountered in the various areas aided us in making decisions that would be right for us. Kim s eye for decorating was so helpful in choosing fabrics that blended for each room. A fantastic but hectic three days!

I live in OH and found something I liked locally and used Furitureland South s website to get in contact with a designer to see if they had the same furniture. They did not have the exact pieces, but sent me links to similar items. And I actually found something I liked better at a way better price. Working through email we got it ordered. It was so easy. Now I anxiously wait my delivery!

3/17/18: Service and selection were great! I love the quality, and the shopping experience is a pleasure.

6/23/18: After I had posted this review, more than TEN WEEKS after I had placed my order, I was informed that the pieces I had ordered were no longer available. What???? We did not want to look for something else and re-order and WAIT AND WAIT again, maybe only to find out that we would be disappointed again ... our salesperson was away, and referred us to her colleague, who was unavailable when we went back to look for something we could purchase for immediate delivery.

We found something that would work OK, even though we were unable to select the fabric AND it was more expensive than what we had ordered previously, but after waiting so long, we went ahead with it. Our new salesperson said she would speak to the management about it, and was able to get the delivery charge waived.

This experience has made us wary to order furniture here again.

My husband and I went to Furnitureland South to look for a comfy club chair for me and a new recliner for him. We have recently redecorated our study to a sitting room. Steven Blake was so helpful. We picked out my chair and the fabric, then picked out hubby s recliner. Took samples home to decide which leather. Steven had a sample of our fabric sent to our home. We decided then went back to Furnitureland South. I wanted to sit in the chairs one more time. Steve was fine with that and took us to see the chairs. Well, it was good that we did. Hubby picked out a different recliner that he liked better. Steven liked it too. We could still use the same leather that we had picked out. Steven wrote up a new contract. We paid and left with smiles. I have to say Steven was so patient, knowledgeable, and gave us his opinions when we asked. Next time we need furniture I will definitely ask Steven to help us.

Furnitureland South has the most amazing selection...

Furnitureland South has the most amazing selection. Paige Harrington, our design consultant, guided us through the entire process and really helped us pull everything we needed together. She has a great eye and was able to find the perfect pieces to take our project to the next level. Our space looks like something you'd see on TV, and it's all thanks to her! Whatever you need, Furnitureland South has it, and at a great price.

These clowns started out wrong, but my inner voice didn't listen. First, me and my wife were stalked by a salesperson in the parking lot. The parking lot, mind you. I should have thought, gee aren't they just a bit pushy... but I needed a bed, our backs were killing us, so I thought how bad can it be. So, we attempted to go into the store, and were confronted again by a pushy sales lady... WE SHOULD HAVE RAN... THEN!!! But again my back was sore from a cheap mattress. WE decided to go in and look around. The store is filled with extremely expensive ART, so as to give the impression that you are shopping where the rich people shop. WE were told that if we were not satisfied that they had a 100% guarantee, but this isn't the case. There are lots of hidden fees, and they completely lied to us. WE were never told that delivery on Saturday isn't an option. Then upon trying to cancel the order we looked at the paperwork, which we never saw when signing an ipad. It said that there was a fee for this and a fee for that. SO basically once you give them your credit card you are at their mercy. As they charge a 33% restocking fee, and there is a fee for this, and a fee for that. These are the biggest crooks I have ever dealt with. I will be seeking a legal remedy to this, and I will also call my credit card company to have the charges reverse because I was told 100% satisfaction guaranteed by the sales person, she even made us buy a bed liner because she said that they wouldn't warranty the order unless it has a bed protector to protect the bed. So that we had a 30 night guarantee, don't believe anything they tell you... READ YOUR CONTRACT! I didn't. I wasn't allowed to read it, typical bait and switch trick. I was told that they could deliver on Saturday then when I called to schedule a deliver time, I was then told that they don't deliver on Saturday, this is a breach of the verbal contract.

We had a great salesperson who was extremely attentive. Our only complaint is that the furniture took too long to be delivered. We ordered a dining table and chairs in early September and will not get them until January. It was somewhat of a custom order, but that is still too long.

These folks are great. They have the best selection of all kinds of furniture anywhere. And, while you might think you would pay more for that, their prices are very competitive. When you link that to their outstanding customer service (thank you Raymond Pendry) it s a win win all around

Then he led us through different showrooms in Furnitureland that displayed what we had discussed. Rex was great about following through with emails and phone calls. We have ordered 4 pieces and plan to return.

Don t waste your time buying their shoddy warranty. Guardsman is terrible and these guys sell you it at a huge upcharge. Furnitureland South sold us a bill of goods. We should have never shopped here.

Gave me a discount and followed up with several emails AND A HANDWRITTEN THANK YOU NOTE! Delivery set up was easy. Awaiting the dresser next week.

My family and I had a very well experience visiting and purchasing
at Furniture Land South. Our salesperson, Grace Williams spent endless hours helping us pick out furniture for different rooms in our house and
never once lost her patience or guidance in doing so. We traveled from New York to North Carolina knowing we were going to have a salesperson
waiting to help us when we arrived. So yes I give Furniture Land South
5 stars because they earned it. This was our second time around
furnishing our home at FLS. and we couldn't be more happier.

I purchased a bed. I had a hard time scheduling delivery online. I called was and was sent to the delivery extension. No answer. Left a message. No return call. I called again a couple of days later. Same thing. Third time delivery was set up. Delivery guys were great but they were not here during the time they had given me. They called the day before and asked if they could come early. I said sure. I rearranged my schedule and they didn t arrive at the new time. I called the number they called me from the day before and they had experienced trouble with their windshield wipers and had to have them repaired. Understandable but a courtesy call to let me know would have much more professional. When they did arrive, they did an excellent job assembling the bed. The finish on the bed was damaged pretty bad on one leg. I had to call it to their attention and there was no way they didn t notice. Wish they had alerted me and not the other way around. They called to request a repair. They are sending someone to repair the finish. I decided a week later to purchase furniture for my family room. I left two messages with Jennifer Davis who had sold me the bed but she never returned my phone calls. I called again and asked for another designer. They connected me with Ashley Greenia. She worked very hard to help me with fabric selections for a sectional sofa, 2 chairs and an ottoman. She found two side tables for the room and sent me pictures for a rug. She was a dream to work with and got the order placed in time for the February sale. I should receive this order I 8 to 12 weeks. Maybe things will go more smoothly this time.

Dealing with Furniture Land South was very disappointing. Their customer service reminds me of the Government; no real person to take responsibility (except when taking the money), no accountablity, no compromising, extremely slow, and tough to get a hold of to voice concerns. Furniture Land South is too big for their own good, and customers suffer from it. Beware folks! This place is not worth your trip to NC and doesn't save you much money either.

I ordered a special order leather sofa in 2018 and...

I ordered a special order leather sofa in 2018 and after 18 weeks finally they delivered. I ordered a Natuzi leather sectional sofa with 3 and 4 piece. I made it clear with sales person(Meg Wilde) on 3 piece I need both the recliner and on the 4 piece left side recliner and right I told long onewhich I showed the sample in the showroom(its called Chaise which I didn't while ordering). When I received the order they messed up the order and I received one side recliner and other stationary on the 3 piece(after coming I measured the length and double confirmed) and on the 4 piece I recieved both recliners.

When I spoke to customer service and my sales rep, Meg Wilde, both said that technician will come and confirm. Technician came and he confirmed that we received the wrong pieces. I was waiting for new piece to deliver after 16 weeks I didn't receive any call, I called the customer service and they mentioned that we delivered the correct product. I called the my Sales rep Meg Whitfield and she also said the same. To exchange the piece I need to pay the restocking fees. I am So disappointed especially after waiting 8 months for it. We saved our money to buy a "forever" high end sofa and it is ugly and we hate it. I would not order from this place, complete scam artists and workers.

Please never work go my Sales Rep Meg Wilde.

Our experience with Melissa Hollida at Furnitureland South was amazing! We were grateful to meet Melissa who was friendly, extremely responsive, super helpful, and always one step ahead of the process. The entire process of the purchase of our new living room furniture was seamless and stress free, which is incredible since it would have been easy to be quickly overwhelmed by the amount of selection. While we have bought furniture from other retailers prior, this was our first experience with Furnitureland South, and it was far superior to all of our prior transactions. Thank you!

My husband and I went to Furnitureland South over the weekend and had a wonderful experience. We worked with Lee, who was very helpful. We didn't have a clear idea on what we wanted, but Lee knew the exact questions to ask to help us narrow down our design ideas.

I would definitely recommend comfortable shoes to walk in while you are visiting!

We traveled to Furnitureland South from Northern ...

We traveled to Furnitureland South from Northern Virginia to shop for a new transitional look for our living room and dining room.
My husband was able to call in advance to scheduled our appointment and gave our designer
Meg Wilde our floor plan measurements. Huge tip~ measure and take photos of your floor plan. Meg meet us and was ready to go with furniture sizing and layout.
Our time was well spent with Meg and she knew exactly what to show us. Quality furniture made in America! It s been an absolute pleasure to work with her. Her knowledge of the different vendors,wood finishes,fabrics and design made it so pleasurable. Thank you Meg and we look forward to finishing our project and the arrival of our new furniture.

Loved the option of outlet and showroom shopping! Outlet was packed full of merchandise and fun to browse looking for a deal. Showroom was beautiful and so many vendors to choose from. We worked with Victoria who was SUPER helpful and we found items at both places! We ll DEFINITELY be back.

Former delivery driver for FLS

My honest opinion is if your not furnishing a whole home I would not buy from furniture land south. Large deliverys always get priority over small. I had customers tell me all to often that they were rescheduled multiple times and we're never givin an exact reason. Well I'm here to tell you the reason is they don't care how long u wait on your 1 credenza, they will always put the larger delivery ahead even if it was ordered after in most cases. Just my honest opinion, take it for what it's worth!

For a furniture store as,large,as,this it is amazing that they can keep everything orderly and clean. It is a great opportunity for you to look at so many manufacturers and styles in one place. This is the best way to shop since you can get a lot accomplished in one day. We previously furnished an entire house at FLS back in 1999. We just purchased several rooms of funiture for our new home and we were able to do that in one 8 hour day. We had excellent help from Jacqueline Poolos and Diane Jackson. Looking forward to getting our furniture in March. We were able to negotiate an excellent deal with FLS. Highly recommend you do your furniture shopping there.

The sales associate Linda was very courteous, professional and knowledgeable all the way through our purchase of a sectional sofa.
Furnitureland South had a plethora of colors, styles and brands to choose from and the hour long drive to High Point was worth the trip. My husband and I were very pleased with our shopping experience.

I love going to Furnitureland South, I only wish I lived closer. I live in Michigan and have traveled twice to shop there. I recently bought my living room furniture there. I worked with Raymond Pendry who helped me design the whole room, furniture, rug, fabric and I can t wait to see it all. Tim Sheppard was also very helpful following up with us with fabric swatches when we got back home. It you want to see all the designers in one place this is the place to go; gorgeous show rooms! It s a bit high end but you will find deals.

The lady that took care of us could not have been ...

The lady that took care of us could not have been any more helpful or knowledgeablee. We were so much on the same page that it was almost scary. We described what we were looking for in leather she asked if she could call us back that she wanted to run up to the sales floor and look at the actual samples, in the meantime we went online and found the photographs (which were quite good) of the leathers that could be supplied. When she came back on the phone She told us what she thought we were looking for which was exactly the same thing that we had come up with by looking at the photographs. That was really a good feeling, couldn t of asked for more.
Haven t gotten the order yet, I ll let you know what the furniture looks like.
