I had an exceptional experience with Furnitureland...

I had an exceptional experience with Furnitureland South beginning with selection through delivery. We recently moved to NC and needed 5 rooms of furniture. Furnitureland South s 3 million square feet of showroom made it possible to find the perfect pieces. I especially want to give a "shout out to our salesperson Sherry Needles. She has deep vendor knowledge as well as ability to manage the shopping experience for both husband and wife. We did our shopping on two separate Saturdays; 3 rooms the first one and 2 on the subsequent date. Sherry was responsive to emails and phone calls. Once the orders were placed, technology took over. I was very impressed with Furnitureland South s order system. I could monitor expected arrival dates, schedule deliveries as items came in, and pay remaining balance on those items. Delivery crews were friendly and efficient. One piece of an outdoor sectional came in damaged and there was quick turnaround for order and redelivery. I m very happy with all my selections.

Huge store, any type, style, decor that you could possibly desire!! My sales ambassidor was Rex G. and he is fantastic!! Prices are equal to the quality of furniture. Plan to spend at least 4 hours touring/looking at furniture. There is a subway and a starbucks inside the venue.

What an incredible store! This is our second big purchase at FLS and we couldn't be happier with the results or the shopping experience. Our consultant, Christine Eddy, is fantastic...so responsive and helpful! The selection of furniture can't be matched and so many of their lines are still made in the USA. I will never shop for home furnishings anywhere else.

We returned to Furnitureland South to purchase a sofaset and bugget/hutch for our new home because we liked the quality of items carried and their service. The difference was we had moved from NC to a northern state. The very first question we asked was whether they deliver to other states and were told they had customers in the state. The sales agent was very helpful in looking up the dining table we had previously bought and recommending a coordinating China cabinet. He also took the time to have us send pictures of the floor color and suggested the fabric to order for the living room sofaset and matched the coasters on the sofas to the wood color we had. Overall, it seemed he was invested in making sure the furniture items would please us and they do ( although the fabric on the throw pillows could have been a bit more soft for a family room use. We bought satin covers elsewhere ). Once we put in the order, the troubles began. We did not mind the lead time for the sofas to arrive as the fabric was a custom order. It was the china cabinet that they took months to deliver. When they delivered, they brought the buffet first. When they finally brought the hutch, they forgot the glass shelves. We had trusted they would bring all parts and did not realize shelves missing until a few days later. When we called ( multiple times ), we were told that the guys had the shelves but simply forgot and left. What was even more unpleasant was the woman who answered our calls. She was extremely rude and unprofessional in her responses. Instead of helping the process that went wrong in the first place, her tone in emails and phone did not leave a good taste for us as loyal customers that just spent thousands of dollars upfront. Not to mention, the china cabinet sat there without being useful until the shelves finally came. We wish whoever it was that was responsible to handle customer calls was a professional that could manage situations like this. She simply disappointed us, reflecting it on the company itself.

I live out of state. I recently built a house and needed furniture for almost every room. I have visited FLS three times in the last two yrs and Marlon Moore is my design consultant. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, professional, honest and all around a great guy. I schedule my flights around his work schedule. I have sent Marlon pictures of furniture/rugs and he was able to track down the manufacture and pricing information. He makes the entire process very easy from start to finish.

Kristin Grubb has been helping me for a couple years now. She is a phenomenal sales person and design professional to work with. FLS has a huge selection of inventory where you can touch and feel quality of many different manufacturers in one convenient location (with its own Starbucks!) and you can go the completely custom category also, all while benefiting from their aggressive pricing by being such a large retailer. I highly recommend both Kristin and FLS for your home designing decisions!

The salesperson I interacted with worked with me thru my selections via email. I am a over the road truck drivers and had to shop all thru phone, phone texts and emails. I was satisfied with the effort to earn my business. I will shop with her again.

The salespeople at this place are lazy and unhelpful. We got the 'Here's my cell phone number, let me know when you want to buy something.' several times. That may work for Walmart, but not for furniture.
There was not a single employee on the bottom floor of the showroom. When we called up to the front desk, to have someone assist us, they walked over to near where we were, peeked around the corner, and then snuck away.

I saw them clearly through a mirror on the opposite wall. I did not bother to say anything, since I will not do business with anyone with that attitude. They obviously did not want to be bothered with any of our questions, but someone told them they had to go down there. So I guess they could say 'Well, I went down there, and gee, there was nobody there!'

If I wanted to spend all day looking up details on my phone I would just buy it online and save some money. We came here today cash in hand, ready to buy. We even knew the exact model and manufacturer, and nobody could be bothered.

Furnitureland South is a wonderful place for ANY home furnishing needs. the consultants are resourceful and most helpful. I worked with Kim Haire and she maintains super files on history (I just contacted her for something this month 8-2018 and she checked her files and found me. I could not believe that we last worked together in 2009! She had the information readily at hand and "went the extra mile" to help me finish purchasing my furniture. Once again. I have dealt with FLS for 20+ years and have ALWAYS been satisfied with service and follow through.

Wow. It was awesome. That is the place to be when you are looking for furniture. Prices for everyone. The best part was Working with Melissa and Tim. What a great team! We were able to furnish a 6000sqft house in 5 days due to their hard work and efficiency. This is coming from a person who cannot make fast decisions. I owe this to them. Before our trip we provided them with plans and a list of what we are looking for and they were very ready when we got there. Melissa communicated with us before the trip and was with us every single day from 8.30 to 5.30. Thank you Melissa and Tim. Now we wait for the delivery date to be scheduled!

Our visit this week to Furnitureland South was made smooth by design consultants Brandon and Rachel Owens. They were very familiar with the locations of the furniture that we were looking for. They took their time and allowed my mother-in-law to go back and forth to verify which bedroom furniture she truly wanted. In just a few hours we were able to find the bedroom furniture and a lift recliner that met her wishes. We appreciated their patience. When my husband and I are ready to look for furniture for our home we will make an appointment with them. The only complaint I have (and why I didn t rate this 5stars) is because I had called the showroom that morning before we left home to verify that a manual wheelchair would be available. I let them know we would be there in approximately 2 hours. They said yes they had a manual wheel chair available. However when we arrived not only was there not a wheelchair available in the lobby but I had to ask them to locate one. The customer service person stated they had an electric scooter, which I had told them that morning on the call that wouldn t work. I don t know why one wasn t available when we arrived or why I had to ask them to locate one. It took several minutes to find one. Maybe a better system would be to return them all to a central location at the end of each day and put a tracking device on each one so that they can more easily locate them if they aren t at the front of the building.

We have been fortunuate to work with Both Brittany Horton and Emily Taylor. They have both been outstanding in helping us to choose bedroom and living room furniture. They worked on electronic layouts of the furniture placement, colors, style and economy. They helped us choose furniture with children in mind as well. They have done a wonderful job of helping us to find the right pieces and layouts to suit our particular needs. . I have recommended them to many friends already! I am sure we will return to Furnitureland South for our future needs as well.

We were very pleased with the whole experience! Donna was very professional, knowledgeable and not pushy. She listened to what our style and taste was then took us to those pieces that might be a good fit. After selecting furniture, she provided a layout of the rooms (based on our specs) with the furniture and made some great suggestions. It was more like working with a friend. She even offered a great place to have lunch! We are having our house built so our furniture is being held until it's ready. We'll be back for our next room!

I've had a fee others, however this is my first interaction with Donald Beck. Do far so good. Great furniture company. Outstanding customer service!! We purchased a Palliser leather sofa and loveseat set from Furnitureland South. The love seat came with cup holders and built-in lights. The lights went out after a couple of months and we contacted Furnitureland South. Vanessa from customer service contacted Palliser for resolution. She keep me in the loop of the communications with Palliser and finally requested them to send us replacement parts. Vanessa then followed up, without prompting, to see if I have received the replacement. When I told her I have not received the parts, she contacted Palliser again and I got the parts in a few days. This is excellent proactive customer service that unfortunately, you don't get from many very retailers these days. I would definitely shop at Furnitureland South again and would recommend them to another who is looking.

I am a first time shopper at furnitureland south. Wonderful salesman Bill Cox was not high pressure very helpful. I bought a couch and am looking forward to it being delivered. I told Bill that no one would be able to help when delivered and I had a couch that would need to be taken out he said he would tell the delivery guys to ensure no problem. (They were not there when I checked out). I would recommend this store and salesman.

Not worth the drive.
The experience is quasi-theme park (if you're into furniture) but that's where the charm ends. My wife and I were treated terribly by a know-it-all sales woman. She insisted that we could not get what we wanted, so she pushed another product. We ordered the EXACT couch we wanted online on the drive home online. Because of this, this place is turning into a dinosaur. Similar to the line from the Office "endless paper in a paperless world". Just buy local or online.

I have dealt with Furnitureland South on multiple occasions and run into a few problems with deliver.

This time was the worst. I ordered a desk in August they have scheduled deliver and cancelled twice. Five months after the order, they deliver a desk with no legs. Picture will be posted on-line very soon. They have cost me vacation time and wasted hours taking my computer apart and putting it back together.

After all of this, it took two days for the deliver manager to say "l'm sorry" and they are refusing to make a "special trip" to my home to pick up this legless desk.

If you shop here, please be ready to deal with problems and attitudes during delivery.

Shopping at Furniture Land South (FLS) makes purchasing furniture a breeze! Furniture is organized in easy-to-find locations throughout the large showroom. There is no wasting time driving from one showroom to another in High Point; Linda Clodfelter (interior designer) has worked w/ me on my home here in NC, as well as my Home in Ca. The interior specialist is more than an employee, she is someone who is very knowledgeable of a melange of products. As a writer and clinical psychologist, my time is a premium! Linda has always taken or returned my calls promptly, saving me countless hours surfing the www on what has felt like a furniture roller coaster!

We have shopped at Furnitureland South for 20 years and this past experience has shaken my confidence in your company. We experienced bait and schwich sales tactics. We were upsold products we didn't want or need. I am considering filing complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Our daughter has a friend who writes blogs on these types.of business practices.

We came to Furnitureland to buy several different pieces. Our sales rep, Hecxsiel Sanchez, was fantastic. Greeted us at the door and took us around for about 4 hours. He was able to get a sense of our style and take us to see pieces we loved. The entire experience went smoothly. We will be back!

I am deeply disappointed with the delivery process at Furnitureland South. At the end of last month, I scheduled my paid in full purchase to be delivered between Jan 8 and Jan 20. Then, on Jan 8, I found that the delivery was postponed to between Jan 15 and Jan 27. I did not get any notification of the change in schedule. I found out about this by myself on my account. The new time frame does not work since I will be out of town from Jan 20. I immediately contacted with the delivery department to explain the situation. The lady over the phone did not make any more efforts to help with customers other than putting a note on my account. Does any real person read the note and try to put the customer's needs in mind? Absolutely no. Because I just found out last night that my delivery was postponed again to between Jan 22 and Jan 27, when I will be out of town for the whole time. I have called the delivery department first thing in the morning and left message with the manager. Have not got any response yet. You know what? When my furniture first arrived at FLS, I got tons of emails and phone calls to ask me to schedule the delivery. Now, when I am ready to have them shipped, you just postpone the delivery multiple times without notifications. I think the top things in the FLS mind are your own convenience and cost, absolutely not the customers' needs.

Furnitureland South is by far the worst company I have ever ordered with. I ordered 2 bedroom sets in June with an estimated delivery within 8-10 weeks. After waiting about 12 weeks, I reached out to the company and found out my furniture had been delayed. Apparently one company had been shut done for a month. Nobody reached out to me and when I called the company, I was given horrible customer service and was hung up on multiple times. It's now been 4 months since I have ordered my furniture. 1 set will be coming in October (1 month wait for delivery after reaching furnitureland south) and my other furniture will be coming in November. They won't give me a guaranteed delivery date either because "we don't know and there's no one in the company that can give you a date" (exactly what the delivery representative told me).

They have the worst employees with no professionalism. They don't care to provide customer service, are uncaring, and rude. Customer satisfaction is definitely not their priority. Managers won't call you back and won't help you resolve any issues either. I will never deal with this company again and I suggest you don't either unless you want to wait 6-8 months for your furniture.

We had a terrible experience here 5 years ago. This is a poorly run establishment and we had to jump through hoops to receive the correct furniture we ordered. They delivered the wrong bed upon delivery. We found out they actually did not have the bed we ordered. We ended up ordering a different bed and it took nine months for it to arrive. There were a bunch of other unfortunate events that happened when we went through purchasing a whole bedroom outfit, but I don't have the desire to complain that much at this moment.

Our experience has been a nightmare due to poor quality from Lexington Furniture, but also through Furnitureland South. We ordered barstools and have not received our full order from last summer after quality control from Furnitureland South has rejected what they received and now we are back ordered until February 2018 for 4 simple barstools. Customer service (Holly Gray) has been pleasant to deal with but a very exasperating purchase experience- certainly far from what we expected!

Delivery was on time and the 2 gentlemen delivering the furniture were very professional, polite, and on time. The hardware for the desk was not included and a bracket was missing from the order but customer resolved it quickly and it will get shipped this week although now we will either need to put it together ourselves or wait a couple weeks, neither option is great! If it weren't for that I would definitely have given 5 stars. The trucks should make sure they have everything before they leave.

Christy Parker exhibited rare and exceptional interest in satisfying me (the consumer). There is
much confusion with respect to the item I wanted.The Martha Armchair is sold by quite a few vendors,
with various prices.Not only that, but the fabric is shown in only one pattern by all vendors WHICH IS
NOT AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE! What sense is that? In addition, all vendors simply show fabrics
from one vendor, none of which I liked. Christy Parker had the initiative to offer fabrics from various
vendors and requested samples from them to send to me. To add to the confusion, I selected one pattern from a set of photographs she emailed to me and she had the actual sample sent. The swatch
was so small,I could not tell if that was the actual fabric chosen. I then contacted her and she verified
my choice with fabric supplier, and had them photograph a large sample to e mail to me. It was the correct fabric,but the picture was taken by a computer and the coloration was totally off the swatch I
had received. I again called Christy who straightened everything out. I the ordered the chair, but it
was not easy.I really wanted the chair,and she made it happen.

Fabulous experience with the expert assistance of Brittany & Emily. It was worth the time and expense of flying from Michigan for a 2 day visit. We ended up with furniture that is
just perfect for us ... different and better than we could have obtained with a skilled local interior designer (which we ve used twice in the past). It was so helpful to see so many options firsthand. The prices also were better than we d find elsewhere for comparable products.

An amazing showroom and prices will either match or exceed what you can find elsewhere. The selection of high and medium end furniture is exceptional and having the various brand liaisons on site makes for a terrific shopping experience. My frustration only came with asking staff on the phone if they carried an item (a bed) in stock and was told "no" on 3 separate occasions on the phone by staff, yet after the manufacturer confirmed the item was indeed there in their showroom, i visited their store and sure enough, the item was there in the second room from the main entrance!!! Perhaps looking an item up by name rather than item number would have alleviated this problem. I could wander around in this store for hours...it is a customer's and interior designer's dream.

Visited this store over Labor Day weekend and didn t find anything. A salesman named Todd told me to call if I found something at another store before I left town and he would beat the price. The next day I called and told him about the pieces I found at another store. He beat the price and I told him I needed to measure first to make sure the fit was right for my room. After realizing the pieces would not fit he put me in touch with a designer from the store and told me it would only take a day or two for her to help me with a design that would be in my price range and work with my space. 3 weeks later I receive a design after being given every excuse in the book as to why it took so long. The quote I received was completely different furniture than we had talked about and 3 times the price. I had to call and ask for a manager and did finally get correct pricing but after all the hassle, i decided against ordering from this company. I actually ended up ordering from an online company who beat their prices and was able to place my order in less than an hour, certainly beats taking almost a month for a quote from Furnitureland South. After reading all the negative reviews for FLS on yelp, I feel confident I made the right decision.

I was pretty disappointed in my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was judged based on my attire. A couple walked in ahead of me and they were dressed nicely and seemed like an older couple. They were greeted right away and with enthusiasm. Once they continued on, the same sales associate looked at me and didn t say a word. I had to walk up to her and ask for a map. She half went over it with me and seemed to not care. Later when I found something I wanted to buy I had to find someone to help me. No one really seemed interested.

Walking in is always the worst part. I do not blame the sales staff. It is the environment created for them to work in. That element will be the reason i can never give a 5-star review. Once we needed the salesman, he was great to work with. There was a bit of confusion delaying delivery a bit. Thomas Ingram, the salesman, and other contacts were very helpful. I highly suggest people set the time aside to come here and indulge themselves on a fine piece of furniture every now and then.

Our sales rep Megan was wonderful! We told her what we were looking for and she took us through the entire store showing us pieces in a very helpful yet no pressure way. We found exactly what we were looking for and ordered it after looking at every furniture store in Raleigh, Durham and Triangle area for months. Our time at Furnitureland was truly the easiest most pleasurable furniture purchase we ve made and Megan s pleasant personality and no pressure sales attitude really made us happy we made the drive from Pittsboro to High Point. The potential delivery time is a little further out than we expected but we are hoping it will end up getting to us on the sooner end of the estimate before our company arrives end of September. Omar helped me pick out several pieces of furniture for my mom's apartment and he was patient, informative and very helpful in getting us exactly what we were looking for. He made what could have been a very overwhelming experience a lot of fun! Drew McInturff was knowledgeable, attentive, and courteous. Within a few minutes, he understood our needs and style preferences. Drew was also very patient and gave us time to decide what worked best for us. When it came time to pick fabrics, Drew listened carefully and made interesting suggestions that I really liked. We ended up with more pieces than we had thought we would buy and we are thrilled with all of them. Drew made it so easy for us to see how things would work together in our house. He has also been wonderful with follow-up. We feel lucky to have had Drew there helping us.
