A good and different type of place, worth a visit.

Tried the banana nut waffle! It was delicious! I ordered the half, but should have ordered the whole.

great music, great people, great food. wish they still had one in Rochester though otherwise I'd give it 6 stars.

This place is incredible! What they can do with waffles...it will amaze you. They host live local talent regularly. This is definitely the place to be any time.

Great waffles super service all served in a beatnik meets hipster atmosphere. I suggest you try some simple waffles with fruit. The waffles are that good you need to let them set the flavor. Overall we had a great meal here. I would highly recommend you eat here.

Not what I was expecting, but everything is delicious and creative! I'm gluten- sensitive and I can eat anything that doesn't have a pre made batter! Yummy coffee, hot chocolate, and shakes too!

Was a cute late night place to go. However, I was expecting a more substantial and prettier plate. Nonetheless, prices were reasonable, and it tasted good!

I ordered the national delivery that came frozen and it still was one of the best Chicken N Waffles I have ever had. The chicken was crispy and heavily seasoned with some type of herb if I had to bet. The waffle was dense and crispy. The best part was whatever the House Sauce is. It tasted like a delicious hot syrup.

It was nice. My first time there. Nice atmosphere.

I absolutely LOVE this place! My wife and I came in for brunch, we had a coupon so we figured we would try it out. The line was almost out the door, but the service was fast. The food was out of this world!

Cool place to go. Me and my friend brought 75$ worth of waffles. We try one of everything just for fun. Parking not much of a hassle. It nice to see local places in Syracuse. They did a amazing job making the waffles. The mash potatoes and gravy waffles the best.

Anything you can think of is a toping for waffles. Cool place with a funky vibe. Not much else open around there on a Sunday morning, so expect a wait time.

Front cashier was very rude and as I observed he was rude many customers.

Ok so let's talk waffles.... cane back into town for work. Ate dinner early and just wanted something sweet for dessert. Came across this place.

So I decided to get a banana bread waffle... yes banana bread waffle! Throw in some blueberries granola and some PB.... add a scoop of coffee ice cream and the magic begins!

PB & Blueberries is one of my favorite combos and is very unknown to people, so here I am spreading the word about it!

Come here, so many choices, sweet and savory, breakfast and dinner.... 2 thumbs up!!

Really cool waffles, I love the turkey jive one. I would not recommend getting the hot chocolate, it look really cute but was very watery Really good service and a lot of good opportunities for goood music and art.

came in with my girl to grab a bite, walked to the counter and was ignore by the guy standing there 6 feet from us. for a few minutes. and i dont mean not served i mean weird antisocial eyecontact avoidance . once he was done doing his drink mixing he informed us we can grab menus and sit where-ever. okay cool. theres one other couple here. theres 3 employees moving slower than a stoned turtle. eye contact guy can't figure the Pos system(touchscreenregister) so one of the cooks comes up and starts poking it. then sniffles and wipes his nose directly on to the back of his latex glove.instead of i guess the lesser evil his sleeve.i immediately point this out to gf and hope he changes his glove. as this happens i see the other cook put gloves OVER her gloves instead of taking them off. then cook#1 headed back to the kitchen wiping his nose again the same way and grabbed a plate of food to serve. got up walked out

When entering for the first time You are met with a clean and welcoming environment. The staff are friendly and professional. The chicken could be better. It's an acquired taste. The waffles are soft but crunchy. The Fruit punch is good and not too sweet. It does get packed quickly so if you have a fear of large crowds or conscious about Covid I would steer clear for a while towards the afternoon and come early on. Outdoor seating IS available and social distance guidelines are being kept with dividers and seating. But next time I come I will be staying away from the wings as They just taste off to me

Awesome, awesome, and so delicious. This was a dream come true. Enjoyed the Triple D special from world class chef Guy's show. Building was beautiful and the architectural design was wild. Live music nightly and great parking. Upstate New York is doing it big!!!

I like the atmosphere and the food was a different take on Chicken and Waffles.

Went here to see Roots of a Rebellion, and was early for the show. Got some waffles and coffee, and was able to enjoy it while the bands were setting up. Was a great experience. Great food, great coffee, great music. Great venue!

Amazing waffles. Such creative and inspired savoury options. Would go back in a heartbeat. To be honest, I felt that the sweet waffles lacked the same creativity of savoury, but they were yummy regardless.

I really enjoyed my food and drink here. Great music. I thought it was a little quirky that although I was seated at a table, i would have to return to the counter to order food/ drink after my initial order. Not sure if this is common practice or if the wait staff didn't show up.

Great place to grab a bite to eat after a late night.

Went to a concert here that was supposed to start at 9, that didn't end up actually starting until after 10:30. Even after all the delay they gave local opening acts full sets and as a result the acts on the flyer didn't even START performing until WELL after midnight. As someone from out of town who can't be out ridiculously late this was quite the disappointment. I have never in my life been to a concert that was this disorganized and late. What a waste of time.

Drop and everything and get there now! Such great value for such a great twist on food! A variety of great options and vegan and gluten free specials which is really nice. They are also just a really cool, fun hangout spot. You won't regret stopping in!

Very fun, unique atmosphere and food. Kids and adults loved it.

Good, savory variant of waffles, in the room next door there is also the possibility of live music.

Came out not knowing what to expect this place was awesome had a great band playing and the chicken wings were delicious bum outside we're an issue lat 130 am but that's not thier fault.

Parking was kinda a pain but the food was great definitely worth it.

5 stars for that chicken! We just tried a half plate of chicken tenders and waffles. It was GOOD! I prefer a waffle with a little more crisp but it was fine. The chicken tenders were really great though! My friend really liked the house sauce but I wasn't a fan. I felt like it was just muddled down versions of syrup and hot wing sauce.

Chicken and waffles tasted good. Definitely don't get any of their savory sides. My eggs tasted like egg beaters, not cool. Their waffle brownie was nice twist. A crunchy brownie definitely worth a try.

Gotta love a place that combines good food with a funky little music venue and bar. The jive turkey waffle is amazing. Very unique flavor vombos, they even have vegan and vegetarian options. Love funk n waffles

Trendy place. Food was great needed to be a bigger portion. I also was expecting the waffles to be a bit softer. It is a little loud which I didn't mind, this is located in a college city. Willing to come again!

Not bad. I got the Jive Turkey. It was pretty good but it was missing something in the flavor and I couldn't figure it out. Also their ordering process was weird. You got in line to get a menu to go sit down and then you went back up to order. I'd eat there again I just don't think it met the high praise that I had been told.

Food was pretty good but most the tables were dirty and have not been wiped off brother guess your customers.

Rainy Mothers Day. Decent crowd but room for the 4 of us. ( spouse, Son and his girlfriend & myself). Stage was empty but ready w/ next musical act by time we finished our meal. Wasn't my choice for food so had to play along. Had half of stuffing waffle with turkey. Overdid the herb flavoring. Very skimpy with the meat (thin sliced deli-kind). Ok amount of not very hot mashed potatoes & brown gravy. Also had 1/2 buttermilk waffle w/ fresh strawberries. It was decent. Stingy with sprinkle of powdered sugar. My latte wasn't even hot.

Has a great selection of artists playing every week, with several free concerts. The waffles are a sweet extra.

Craving something different but still yummy? This is perfect. Interesting combinations of savory and sweet. Also a great bloody mary. Nice friendly service. The only reason it's four stars is the lack of real ketchup. Heinz is the only way to go!

Really good chicken and waffles.Great and polite staff. Only downside is you cant eat inside and the utensils provided are useless for cutting waffles. Overall food great, hope to go when they reopen dining room.

It's a shame that such a "cool-looking" place had such terrible service. The guy at the cashier stand (Steven, I believe) definitely, needs a career change. He was abrasive, rude, and unpleasant, not only with us, but with every customer I observed his interaction with. Food was ok, nothing to write back home about... I wouldn't return, nor will I encourage anyone to visit.

The service at this place was scary bad. It is dirty and unkempt. The person at the front counter was rude and his attitude was "wish they weren't here". The only saving grace was that the food was good. I would never come back here nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

A fun concept for a food place where I enjoyed a great meal. A few issues hold it back though:
--I went during a live music event, which was totally fine and obviously part of their schtick. But holy h*ll was it loud. Even just trying to order was a chore.
--There doesn't seem to be much of effort being made to keep the tables clean. Everything was at least slightly sticky.
--Whie they do HAVE a solid smattering of vegan/special needs options, most of them aren't actually on the menu. You just have to know about them in advance and ask for them.

Update by request: I visited on 9/22/19 around 3:30. I honestly couldn't say what I ended up getting because I asked for a recommendation and couldn't hear much of what was said. So I just kinda went with it, which worked fine. But I'm reasonably sure that the guy who helped me pointed out that many of the vegan options are not clear from the menu, and since I basically asked about it after reading the menu and not finding much, I do suspect that's the case.

Fantastic Turkey Dinner on a stuffing waffle. Chicken and waffles was meh, waffle was good chicken was dry and overcooked.

Live music and the best waffles in town. Need I say more?
