The most horrible university to attend online, if you don t mind watching unlimited YouTube videos for $64,000 then it might be for you. But if you re researching universities do yourself a favor and save time and money by passing this one up.

Worst ever and expensive as heck! Fast past and tedious, you basically have to learn on YouTube and Google (Online - Mobile Development), because they aren't teaching you squat! Instructors are a joke and so is the school. 50k in the hole with only a few classes to finish, starting off easy and learnable. But they keep failing me to retake and pay fees during senior year. Do not go there! I easily invest 8+ hrs a day and 6 to 7 days a week to just pass their fraudulent course work. While working 40+ hrs a week at my full time job.

If there was a no pay to retake, then that would help with their BS course work. At 2k a pop to retake, that's just ludicrous! You'll have to learn and finish projects in a 4 weeks time frame. But, at a REAL school , it will take a few semesters (easily 3-6 months) to actually learn and comprehend their course work (Sorry kids, producing beats and music aren't as technical to grasp in a months time, compared to more technical programs).

Just stay away and heed my warning! If not, then good luck to you.

I'm almost done with my full sail Web Design & Development degree. I am an ONLINE student and my experience at this school hasn't been great. Its a SUPER fast paced program and you don't learn much except for the absolute BASICS. I went in knowing some programming. I came out knowing just a little more. I have my final two courses left and I'm stressing because what is needed is more beyond my knowledge. A class a month is a joke, how are you expected to learn 60k$ worth of education per class/month. You don't really learn a great amount. I went in excited and ready and came out upset and I honestly dont even think I'm ready to go into my job career because I really don't have that much knowledge. I don't think this program is good for working and going to school, they told me it would be fine as long as I learned how to "manage my time" and I did, I got my assignments in on time, but it was difficult getting a hold of most of the teachers since I got home around 6pm. I currently have a 3.2 GPA which isn't terrible. Most teachers honestly give you an A as long as you do the assignments which is a complete joke, some wouldn't even reply to my messages. There was one that didn't reply to anything I sent him and he gave me an A+. I didnt know that was what I signed up for. I could care less about the grades, I came to learn and I didnt.

Had a good time recording in the 2am lab groups. Having school 24hrs a day was different. MTV really took off because of Dire Straights "Money for nothing" video. I know I liked it when I first saw it. I hear my name in the song "get ready" by Sublime at 3:35. And in the song "one hit wonder" by Everclear instead of the lyric "Loopy". Then in the song "Medicate" by AFI it sounds like they're chasing me. LOL so I guess. Also in the song "45" by the band Shinedown. I'm still hearing my name in songs "Pound of Flesh" by Janus at 2:24

Graphic Design B.S. (Online) Graduate on 09/13. Currently enrolled in Internet Marketing M.S. expected to graduate 04/15.

This school is a lightning rod topic. It draws both extreme criticism as well as extreme praise. I'll give you a brief review from my perspective and yes I am a real person who went there and no you may not pinch me to see if I'm real.

The Good: I found that their online degree program fit my working full-time schedule very well. I did lose all my weekends and most of my evening for almost 3 years but hey it's what I signed up for. I learned a ton about branding and developed a deeper understanding of graphic design as a whole. I can say for sure that I would not be the designer I am without going to school. I probably could have gone anywhere but I chose Full Sail Online because I could work full time while getting my degree. I'm not even going to go into the terrible time I had at a local community college where all the classes I needed where only offered at times I'd be working. For a guy working in the industry who wants to get an education to further his or her knowledge and career this school is an option worth considering.

The Bad:
Credits - Your credits probably won't transfer. Yup. While you got a much better chance of transfer with a regionally accredited university. Still no guarantees. I stress this because I went to a regionally accredited community college for graphic design and they change the design program's classes while I was in the middle of the program (very common) and I lost one class and had to take a new/different one. I am just saying this because the goal should be degree completion not transferring credits. If you don't plan on completing this degree program at all cost please do your self a favor and cross Full Sail off your school list now. It's built for degree completion and skill building not dabbling.
Debt - Look... This is the point I would strongly suggest you take a long hard look at. It's an expensive school. Their is nothing at this school that will magically make you awesome. And if you got other ways to get a degree for cheaper. Do it! I was a 31 year old guy who was already established in my career and just wanted to get an education to further my career. So their online model worked for me.

In closing don't believe anyone who tells you that this or any school made or ruined their life. School is just like anything else in life... It is what you make of it.

I've been a student for quite a while now at Full Sail. The tuition is a little high but if your serious about a job in the entertainment industry, this is a wonderful place to consider. The application process was a little hectic. I had to do a formal interview to see if I was going to be a good fit in the school, but after the interview, I was provided all the paperwork I needed and was enrolled in about a week. One wonderful thing about the university is that even after you graduate, you are able to come back to the school at any time to take updated classes to keep you up to date on the newest additions and information from the industry. All together, I do believe that this can be a great school for you IF you are interested in the industry. I have no complaint about any of the service and the faculty is full of people willing to help.

You must have the right mind set coming to this school. This school helps you build your skill set. You can not buy it. It is an expensive school. However you must understand what you want. And when you do fullsail will be there to help

They did not help me get a job as they promised they would. I called to try and get help and I haven t received a call back. I tried applying for jobs myself, using what I learned in classes have yet to have a company call me back. I just honestly have a useless degree and debt. I would advise to just go to a community college. I wasted my time.

Ignore the negative reviews, its written by those who didn't have what it takes to cut it. I am almost done and so far all costs have been covered by various navient loans, which at the end will be added together and be payable over a 10 year period with MANY choices in amounts. You can't expect to get your dream job just because you have a degree. You need to take advice learned in classes that clearly state on those with connections get in the gaming industry.

If you were not smart enough to pass or check communication emails, that is your fault, not theirs.

Recommended for those that fight to the end and DON'T GIVE UP!!!

I'm an online game design student. I've been a student of Full Sail since June 2014. My online experience has been a great one as I have made various connections with some very talented artists and have vastly expanded my spectrum of skills and tool usage for game design. The "Key" to being a Full Sail student is effort. This is a not a hand holding event for 3 years. You literally will reap what you sow. There are tons of extra curricular options, events to attend, and University contests. If you are able to put forth just a smidge of extra effort, your time at Full Sail will blossom. If your heart is not into it, you will fail. It really is as simple as that. This is a fast paced environment for the strong willed.

The game design program is not what you think it is. Full Sail game designers have a certain type of grit that can only be described as concrete in a blender. Game designers are the rock to your scissors. Do you think that you'll come here to only study video game design? Wrong! You'll discover how all game systems, mechanics, skills, and advanced probability play huge factors in various mediums for interactive entertainment. You'll design board games, tabletop games, and, yes, video games. For one class you'll design a fully operational, publish ready board game. The next step? Turn that MF into a video game using the exact same mechanics. Have your game design doc polished and submit. Also, you'll have 7 days per assignment to have your materials up to snuff.

The teachers are great but there are a select few that make the experience not so enjoyable. The persons teaching you are gifted in the areas of which they teach, but their personalities are what gives your experience a small buzz kill. You'll have great teachers for a few months and then that one teacher will remind you of Delores Umbridge. However, the next month comes along and your happy again.

I have zero regrets for becoming a Full Sail student and if given the chance, I would do it again. If you're ready to work roughly 30hrs a week (Sophomore / Junior years), then sign up, buttercup. If you're timid and don't work well with others then I suggest not coming here. This school is a great school; one that I can proudly state that I am a student of.

I felt that they were more of a profit run school than focused on if the student had skills and worked with them. The classes are good if you as and individual are trying to do over and above but if you do mid-mum you still get an "A" which is kinda in a way not good....

Very misleading in a way. I spoke with a lot of different enrollment admissions advisors there over the last month and they are just now telling me they won't accept my HS diploma there. They sent me an email to connect with other students at the school on Facebook which dont make sense at all. You would think they would accept you first before they encouraged you to start connecting with students that already have been accepted at there at the school. I'm not complaining but some things you have to speak up about. That's very misleading and sounds very fishy!

Had interest in the animation program at this school due to over all lack of professionalism and the rudeness of the head of that department just screams this school is all red flags and doesn't really care about future students unwilling to work with people and have a circulum that doesn't really train people for the industry not to mention the head of the animation department was disrespectful and rude when I had interest in enrollment lost all intrest due to being mistreated and unrespected by several staff and the lack of professionalism and worst of all you know it's a terrible college because of all these 1 star reviews and the owner/president doesn't address the issues that right there says bad leader and it would only get worse from there

I was looking into the music production program here, can anybody give the pro's and con's of this idea, and school? There are a lot of mixed emotions on the review, and I am looking for just honest opinions from real students who are majoring in this field, and actually attended this university. I don't want to waste my grant and loan money on an education I can't use, or isn't legit. I am very passionate about music, and want to produce myself, and all the other locals.. That's my dream, but I also don't want to spend 60,000 dollars on something worthless, that won't allow me the opportunities to make money back on the investment, if that makes sense? The industry is a gamble and I know this, but I want to take the right precautions and baby steps first, make sense? :)

Don't listen to the haters. Full Sail is the definition of a school that you get out of it what you put into it. Not everyone can handle it, but if you're truly passionate, and put in the time and hard work, you'll become another Full Sail success story like myself and thousands of others. They give everyone the opportunity to follow their dream, it's not their fault that some can't handle it.

This school is a total rip off. You ll start off thinking that you ll be taking a program doing something you love. Then you ll get trapped in a 2 years or more commitment studying something that has no thing to do with your field of studies. Theses classes or put together for the school to profit and for you to be in debt. Proceed with caution. Hint: you can learn everything from YouTube that you will learn from this school. You will actually learn more.

I "graduated" waaaay back in 1994. I hesitate to say graduate, because the school is not noted anywhere on my resume and none of the classes would transfer to a university. I noticed that most everyone that has graded as "excellent" have yet to enter the real world with their "real" two-year, overpriced trade school, worthless diploma. Back then, I paid $18,000, which I thought was ridiculous even then. I am completely dumbfounded and astonished that people shell out the dollars they do to go to this school now -- this isn't frickin' ivy league Harvard after all!! When I graduated, I quickly realized that the jobs paid next-to-nothing so I went back to a four year, state university, (which NONE of my classes from Full Sail transferred to), and got a real bachelors degree in computer science where now I make real money.

I just want to warn people as I am an old-timer here, but this was a constant complaint from all my former classmates. I don't know of a single one that graduated and really hit it big, however you may define "hitting it big". Even those that moved to LA to become producers (for very well known artists) never really made much money and end up hating the entertainment industry and leaving (can't imagine why, with all those genuine people in LA-LA land). Many went back to college or pursued other careers.

The safety. Well, I see things haven't changed here much, in fact, it's only gotten worse. This school is pretty much in the ghetto, and you couldn't pay me a million bucks to live there now.

Just want to throw in a dose of reality to this crap school. When you're 18, like I was, it's easy to be enamored with the glossiness and facade that they put up. Fortunately, you now have the internet which offers honest reviews; back then you were literally sold on the BS they served to you (Thank GOD for the internet). I wish my parents would have guided my decision better and did more research themselves, as this was a horrible waste of 18 months of my life and money. Again, state school offered me a much better, well-rounded education, which also gave me four more years to mature and figure out how to navigate this world. I highly recommend anyone to not even consider this school straight out of high school. The chances of you changing careers is likely, and finding this out after you shelled out tens of thousands of dollars is not the way to do it.

This school is a business! I can't begin to stress this enough. This is a FOR PROFIT university where a handful of people have become incredibly, ridiculously wealthy on poor students' backs. The school has been known and cited for targeting lower income students, which is incredibly egregious on their part. They take out insane amounts of student loans, only to be swimming in debt when they "graduate" then go on to earn maybe 30K a year (if they're lucky).

Just apply some pragmatic reasoning and think about how crazy the following points are:
1. The school has NO admission requirements, except money. What respected school in this country lets ANYONE get in?!?!? Even State Universities have requirements.
2. This school FOR PROFIT
3. This school is in Florida; home of some of the shadiest business practices and loose business laws in the country. (UGH....Florida)
4. This school has classes that start monthly, just pumping students out on a conveyor belt, basically leaving the market flooded.
5. NONE of these classes will transfer to a real university. A real university does not make a profit.
6. This school costs as much as Harvard University. Think about it!!! Say it to yourself, then when you graduate tell people that you graduated from Full Sail University and then watch their eyes gloss over because they never heard of it. Then, as comparison, say you graduated from Harvard, and see the response you get. I rest my case.

Disappointed in the level of knowledge from tech support if I call saying I need help I don t want to hear that s out of my range. It s useless to call them they can only help with basic stuff
In addition this school will take all the money they can from students I was told I ll receive a refund in the summer still don t have it and I sent the school a 2500 check they called me everyday until I sent it.

This review is solely based on my online experienc...

This review is solely based on my online experience. I have no on campus experience. I attempted to attend Full Sail Univery many years ago. I did my financial aid, registered for classes, made the purchase for the courses required materials and I had consistent contact with advisors and counselors to ensure I was on course and at the time I had appointments with counselors via phone so they can ensure I am staying on track. I am a veteran so I was using the G.I Bill to pay for most of these expenses. All seemed well up to this point.

After week 1 started I no longer hearing from any advisors, counselors, etc. I tried to call and ask questions as I hadn't gained access to my classes. After a few days I finally gained access but not because I had any response from the Full Sail team. After two weeks had passed, I hadn't received any of my materials required for the classes and I still had no contact from anyone at full sail. Into my 3rd week of being confused and not being able to complete course work I finally get dropped from my classes. I thought this was because I had no coursework turned in.

I called my advisors, I called finance, I called the dean, I emailed just about everyone. I finally got ahold of the IT department and they were able to tell me the problem. My classes weren't paid for.

I emailed financial aid and called multiple times for weeks after that and finally got a response a month after being dropped from classes.

Turns out that Full Sail never actually submitted my paperwork to the Veterans Affairs office so my classes never got paid for.

Now back to the current time. I decided, maybe I just had a bad experience at full sail. My brother in law got his degree online via Full Sail so I figured I would try again. This was around July 15th. I submitted my request for information and ask to be contacted. Full sail had failed to contact me until today October 1st at 13:00 and it was an automated message from an Isiah saying I still had time to sign up for classes.

I don't know how this school is still around for online classes.

Full sail university is a scam. The tuition is outrageously high, leaving you in debt because of student loans. The instructors never give any helpful feedback on assignments, the student advisors are rude and disrespectful. You basically have to teach yourself and most classes you take do not relate to your degree. Would not recommend this school to anyone.

I am a current online student, well over a year in...

I am a current online student, well over a year into the Full Sail Internet Marketing BS program. I decided to write a review to help potential students make the right choice for their future.

The program is expensive, however it is accelerated, very focused and includes the cost of all of the hardware, software and materials you will need throughout the program. If you went to a traditional 4 year program, you would likely have the same debt, especially since you have to purchase your own computers, software, materials and books.

My one note of advice is to be certain of your career path. I worked in the Internet Marketing industry for a decade prior to starting this education, so my previous experience lead me to the path of attaining a degree at Full Sail.

I would never recommend this program to someone coming out of high school with no industry experience, as it leads to unrealistic expectations, which seems to be the subject of many complaints. The education alone is not going to land that big job. In many fields, especially mine, experience is just, if not more valuable than the education. I chose the education path to give myself the educational edge and for the continued education benefits to grow my career and keep my skills current.

Full Sail provides a lot of tools and opportunities to network and market yourself (which I seldom see students use) and herein lies the value. You get out of it what you put into it, with or without industry experience. If you are truly passionate about the career path you have chosen, Full Sail is a great choice to solidify that passion, even if you are just out of high school. If you are still undecided, start out and get your General Education credits elsewhere until you find your passion. I didn't find it until I was in my 30's.

The curriculum is very fast-paced and very focused. Most of my professors have been fair and all have been knowledgeable, but like any college, they are hit-or-miss.

I have enjoyed my experience with Full Sail so far and it is easy for me to attain while working a full-time job and I don't consider it any kind of interference in my life. I also did not have any problem with registration, grade transfers or otherwise. I also had no problem requesting a digital transcript for my records.

First off, I have not been paid for this review.

First off, I have not been paid for this review.

I officially started classes this morning. All the negative reviews about crippling debt, and how much it costs is wack. The first thing they go into is how much your chosen field will cost, in very specific detail. They made sure not to leave anything out making sure I knew where all the money is going.
Then there s the books and materials. Full Sail makes sure you have all the materials you need, and if you can t find them with the college, they make sure you get them.
So far I ve had nothing but a great experience.

Going to Full Sail has been one of the worst experiences of my life. The school is an absolute nightmare to deal with. The courses are a sick, expensive joke. The instructors will link you to video lectures not created by Full Sail and the students are 100% expected to teach themselves. To add to the frustration, you can find most of the stuff they're linking to for free via YouTube/Google. The instructors will give you completely meaningless feedback, if they bother to give you any at all. I can also guarantee that if you email your professor a question you will get a rude, unhelpful response. If you fail a class you will quickly have a Pay-To-Retake fee slapped on to your account. That being said, some of the classes set you up for failure. The lectures and research material will only cover half of what you need to complete your assignments, so good luck figuring out the other stuff. Since the courses are so fast paced, it's easy to rack up several Pay-To-Retake fees in a short amount of time. I've been working with Full Sail to change my degree program, and it's taking them months to get everything processed. So even though I'm not completing assignments (since I'm changing degrees) I'm still being automatically thrown into classes and "failing" them, as Full Sail continues to collect Pay-To-Retake fees. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone, it's overpriced and will bring you nothing but stress.

This school is a fallacy. It is an absolute rip off and will provide you with zero "real-world" employability, as well as a degree from an institution with no reputable affiliation, that is if you even decide to finish your degree after you witness first hand the LAUGHABLE curriculum and embarrassment that are the professors employed. To call this travesty of an establishment a University is more than a stretch, it is an abomination to the pursuit of higher education and is a for-profit organization that is placing crippling debt on members of our society with zero return value. They are not regionally accredited and if you don't understand what that represents then you are exactly the individual they are looking for. This establishment should absolutely be shut down.

I am attending my first year at Full Sail and I have to agree with the people detracting from the negative reviews. Most of the negative reviews seem to come from people who didn't have what it takes to make it in an industry that literally grows everyday. We're given tools but it's our own dedication that drives us to our goals. If you went to Full Sail, walked out with a degree and are working at a coffee shop, that is ENTIRELY your fault. You can't blame Full Sail for your own deficiencies. There are a multitude of resources available for those who seek them out; within Full Sail and outside of Full Sail. What more can you ask for than a school that is open 24/7?

Got jerked around for months with the school telling me I owed them paperwork from the VA and owed them money the "VA didn't cover". After looking in to this issue I found the following:

- Full Sail's VA department lost the paperwork that I "never turned in"
- The money the "VA Owed" was actually money the "Yellow Ribbon" their school "provides" owed towards my degree
- They dropped me from classes and told me I would have to reapply in 6 months to start my coursework again

This school is a scam. Don't waste your time or money here.

We stopped accepting grads from this school. Students are entitled coming out thinking they know everything. When we can point out so many things wrong with what they are doing its a joke they don't know the basics. Full Scam University is a joke. You'll learn a lot more about doing film, music, graphics etc. by actually DOING it in the industry. Start somewhere but don't waste your money on this school. The instructors have zero to very minimal industry experience and are even recent graduates who get hired back by full sail as an intructor. Even if you feel like you need school go to Valencia who has a world class film program or UCF for games/music. It will much much cheaper and you'll be actually learning the basics on a competent level. Full sail is for profit and only cares about a heartbeat and a checkbook from you.

DO NOT ATTEND I REPEAT DO NOT ATTEND. STRAIGHT SCA...

DO NOT ATTEND I REPEAT DO NOT ATTEND. STRAIGHT SCAM, This school only cares about money. Once they get your money from the first day you start they show you right away they don t care about you. If you can afford to go to this school or if you really believe in yourself that you ll find a job in a couple months after graduating(because the career development department is pretty much useless) before the finically aid department or private loan venders harass you then by all means do it. Other than that Rather than attend this school and be in debt like me and a lot of people on here your better off watching YouTube videos on your specific field, getting freelance work to get experience, or flat out going to a way cheaper school as in the community college option. It might take longer but your pockets, your credit score, and family will thank you in the future. PLEASE TAKE MY WARNING OR ENJOY YOUR 80k-100k PIECE OF TOILET TISSUE.

Ok so a lot of the reviews on here are super unhel...

Ok so a lot of the reviews on here are super unhelpful for future students and those looking into the college. This school is amazing but it s an experience you need to work for. I am in the game art program and I love it, everyday I m learning and growing as an artist and I m so happy with my progress. But if you are planning to be a god tier professional 3D artist without doing any other work then the projects given to you to do in the classes then look for another school. The professors let you know from the beginning that if you want to succeed you are going to need to practice outside of class and look up the things they don t cover in class. If you are okay with that then you are guaranteed to thrive in this school if you do the work. The workload can be a lot and you are going to need to keep on top of it and even start some things early to get everything done and at least for me getting it to perfection. There is a good chuck of creative freedom given to students and the professors love to see it and give feedback. I ve always had professors respond back in a timely manor and give nothing but helpful feedback and if I couldn t get ahold of them there is always time to ask after/ before class and they even give office hours to come visit them if you need more help. The most important thing I want to say is if you do choose this school you need to take it seriously. I ve seen a lot of my classmates even friends drop out or fail classes because the won t do the work or procrastinate. They won t talk to the professors and just complain about everything. This is not the mindset you want for this school. You need to stay on top of the work and stay positive, find some friends to practice your craft with so you have support system and help if you can t get ahold of anyone. This school will shove networking down your throat but it is so important. You will need to talk to anyone and everyone no matter what degree program. Because in the end they will be the ones in the work field that could potentially help you get a job. Please come check out this school and if you get a chance take do the behind the scenes tour. Take my words and the other reviews here with a grain of salt because every person will have a different experience here each degree program has their good and bad teachers and has different work requirements and even different student groups that can change how you view a class. This school is something you need to work for but for me every second I m here is a dream. I hope this review helps .

Finished my first degree and currently back for my master's degree. Best experience I could have asked for. Amazing teachers and facilities, a one of a kind experience. Helped to jumpstart me into my dream career by giving me the knowledge necessary to succeed. Thanks to my Full Sail education, I was instantly accepted into an internship at an amazing studio even though I had no prior studio experience beside what I got from my undergrad degree.

The school, curriculum and teaching staff is overall pretty awesome. But I feel like all of the funding goes into equipment and other things and not enough on staff needed in other areas. NO open labs, NO tutors available, hardly anyone ever to help with advising, financial aid, and tech support. We pay WAY too much money for the student resources to be so terrible.

Do not come to this university expecting vast know...

Do not come to this university expecting vast knowledge at the expense of little effort. People who drop out/bash on this university are people who expect that money can buy you a skillset. But it doesn't. You have to put in the work, you have to put in the motivation, you are an adult, and you are the reason for your own accomplishments and failures. This university offers only the best tools and instructors from the industry to help you get started, the rest is all you. If you can't handle it, you don't even belong in the industry.

Had a conference and did my application. So happy they told me I'll be doing a lot being a music producer but I'm ready to begin my long journey in music itself, can't wait to go this college in August.

As a student I used to absolutely love this place, but I couldn't be more disappointed.i understand the current situation is tricky and covid19 isn't anyone's fault, but as a campus student they should not be keeping the money I paid for a campus degree. Every month I'm not on campus, they get a free $1000 from me and there are no plans to repay students. Unbelievably disappointed. My advice, wait until campus classes resume. Save yourself the headache and disappointment

Let me start by saying that YOU are responsible for your own education, and that pursuing a higher education is an investment in yourself. If you don t have that self-motivation and passion for learning and improving your craft, stop reading right now and do not apply to this school. You will only end up screwing yourself over.

Full Sail is a for-profit school, owned by a private business. In other words, this school will be very EXPENSIVE. Get a game plan going for how you are going to pay (before, during, and after your program). This school offers several scholarships to help you, and the Financial Aid staff (from my experience) has been nothing but helpful.

The programs at this school are highly ACCELERATED. It s extremely fast-paced, and the programs are constantly being adjusted to reflect the current industry standards. This is an institution based on technology, and technology is always changing. Keep up with it if you are serious.

The school is NOT regionally accredited. You will not be able to transfer the credits you earn at Full Sail to traditional state universities and ivy-leagues. Keep that in mind.

Aside from that, Full Sail is an excellent institution. They give you the tools you need to develop as an industry professional. The amount of resources they give you access to is unparalleled. Do not solely rely on what your instructors teach you, or on just the topics you learn in class. Take advantage of ALL the resources you re paying for and take additional time to EDUCATE YOURSELF. In order to succeed in this industry (not just at Full Sail), you need to be independent and highly self-motivated.

Do not go to this school just because it s easy to get into . Don t enroll just for status, or because you think it will be fun. Most importantly, do not expect this school to hand you everything on a silver platter and guarantee you a JOB. This is not high school anymore take responsibility and hold yourself accountable for your own education.

It doesn t matter where or how you get your fancy piece of paper (degree), you are NEVER guaranteed a career, especially in this day and age. Industries today (especially in the field of technology and design) want you to PROVE what you can DO, not how good you look on paper. Full Sail will help you do just that.

Good luck!

I'm getting a lawyer, I feel like you all are taking advantage of people. Everytime I ask a question because you want so much info on the work. But you all only give one sentence of instructions for five pages of work. Then the child instructor doesnt know what's going on so ask another instructor and that one doesnt know where they are. I'm about to start a revolution.

Those who say the negative reviews are because of poor academics or lack of effort, have not yet graduated or are one of 100. The main thing here is how much debt you accumulate by going here. Federal aid will not pay the tuiton and housing needed. Private loans will eat at your credit. And here they are making another partnership while increasing tuiton cost. They do enroll every 30 days, think about that and how much money is being made.

I'm going for my BA in Computer Animation with 8 months left and I could not have found a better School. It's all about what YOU put into it, don't expect everything to just happen for YOU. All colleges can only do so much and in the end it's up to YOU if YOU want to succeed. But Full Sail does a really fine job of helping YOU get there.

Don t go here. Just don t. There are way easier ways of living your life than being 100k in debt with no career future other than low level entertainment jobs. I have worked with tons of famous people and used my skills to the fullest and been acknowledged for them. It s not worth it still. I wish I would ve known what a joke the entertainment world is, and I consider myself lucky.

Graduated from their internet marketing masters. A ripoff. In Florida full sail known for being a joke to get students in debt. Go to a real college or even a community College then transfer to a university. I wouldn't recommend you go here.

Edit:
Just read the reviews. Negative reviews say the same thing, debt and rip off. This degree won't help you get a job or out of debt it makes your situation worse. Please go to a reputable university with company connections or learn a trade.

BTW, they spelled my name wrong on my degree and I never verified my transcripts although I do have an undergrad degree. What a joke.

I currently attend Full Sail University and I absolutely love being surrounded by so many talented and creative people. The learning environment is amazing with highly skilled instructors and I've learned so much from the school. With that being said the main drawback of a Full Sail education is the scheduling, it can be erratic and unpredictable. Your class schedules aren't issued until the Wednesday before your course is to start which makes employment very difficult while you attend school. I would definitely recommend a Full Sail education, but I would urge people to prepare to do school and only school; the curriculum is very demanding, because of the accelerated rate to achieve your degree faster.

Premier cutting edge learning for the modern day online marketeer. Received my MS in Internet Marketing from them and can honestly say with 17 years of private sector experience their courses are thorough, timely and accurate reflecting real-world Internet marketing scenarios with plenty of hands on learning. Digital, Social Media, Video, Brand Planning, PR's, Paid Search, SEO, Analytics, etc., are covered in detail. The classes are challenging and immersive with plenty of midnight oil evenings ahead. You'll have some team projects along with plenty of current reading materials to ponder. If you enjoy learning new things and refining current skills this is the right place for you. Be forewarned: not for the faint of heart! If you want easy grades and think you'll slide on by this will be the wrong place for you.

The only reason why I'm giving them a one-star is because that's the only way I can give my review and put my insight on what I've witnessed and what I've gone through which current enrollment Full Sail University online before I went ahead and made the decision that I was ready to go ahead and enroll in full sail I think I got phone calls every other day from a rep trying to get me to enroll telling me how the programs were definitely worth you know what I'm looking for in the benefits that I'm looking to receive I would get them from that program fast forward I finally went ahead and actually did my enrollment a follow through with everything it becomes an extreme Challenge to get in touch with enrollment my enrollment specialist that they told me would be assigned to me it's impossible to even reach that person they don't respond to my emails they don't call me back when I tell them that I'm going to be available they asked me several times during the callbacks when is my availability and they never called me back. The availability hours given I just feel like there's been a lot of unprofessional things that has gone on don't get me wrong yet there's a lot of benefits with going into Full Sail because you get your programming you know your financial aid can help you with receiving the software and programs that you need to be successful but also if you're not getting the information that you need to even start the program I feel like that's almost like a bad introductory to what you're trying to do and I just don't see how it can get positive from here I called several times a week trying to reach someone I get not available answers they'll call you back I leave voicemails I never get a response back when I am hoping to and when I do get a response back if somebody that's just going to sit on the phone with me and tell me how old I'm sorry I don't have your paperwork but maybe that person to give you a call back when they have a chance to it's absolutely ridiculous and I'm definitely disappointed with my experience which is the enrollment process of enrolling in for sale and I definitely hope that there's something that you guys can do to improve this because clearly you have a high volume of interested potential student so maybe you need to look into trying to do something to improve the resources that you have for students

We stopped accepting grads from this school. Students are entitled coming out thinking they know everything. When we can point out so many things wrong with what they are doing its a joke they miss the basic principles.

DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL!

DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL!

I started at Full Sail University on 9/28/15 and was enrolled in the Online Mobile Development Bachelor s Degree program (32 months). Rather than having a semester full of classes, I was enrolled in one class per month, with no breaks.

I started a class called Advanced Scalable Data Infrastructures on May 30, 2016 (advanced programming class). It was very tough and I ended up having to withdraw for the months of June and July. I then failed the class 3 consecutive months straight after that (August, September, and October) and had to withdraw again in November. During those 6 months, nobody reached out to me offering help nor did they raise any concerns that I had failed a class. Per S.A.P (Satisfactory Academic Progress), I should have been put on some sort of discipline, and gotten my federal funding revoked due to not meeting Satisfactory Progress.

I requested a tutor and was denied within 2 hours, with no explanation behind the denial (via email). I called the school asking for help; I even cried on the phone letting them know I felt like I was at a loss and nobody cared to help me- they told me to find another resource for a tutor. During this conversation, my student liaison *accidentally* told me that the school had a Town Hall meeting regarding this class back in May of 2016 due to so many students failing repetitively and that they had to re-work the course. She then told me, one bad class shouldn t hinder the reputation of Full Sail as a school .

Every time I withdrew / failed the class, they automatically re-enrolled me for the next month - I essentially have been stuck in this class for the last 6 months. Each class would end at 11:59pm on a Sunday, and the new month would start at 12:01am on Monday (3 minutes later). Not only did they keep using my financial aid to cover the course, but they also charged me 2 pay-to-retake fees ($1800 each), and took that out of my financial aid without my consent.

I finally got in contact with my online advising manager on 11/4/16 and after a long conversation, she decided to do me a favor by waiving the pay-to-retake fees. What I later discovered, was that she was actually covering herself due to me never giving consent to use my financial aid to pay those fees, which is illegal.

I applied at a new college a few months ago and was accepted.... They sent me a FA award letter and when I went to accept it a few days later, the money was drained out of my FA account, leaving me with $0. Full Sail also dispersed all of my financial aid for the whole year of 2017 on 10/05/16, leaving me unable to start at my new college on 1/9/17 as initially anticipated.

I quit my job so I could go to school full time and really focus on my studies as I struggle with A.D.H.D and literally haven't had any income in over a year. With that said, Full Sail offered me a Student Support Scholarship totaling $4,812.00 ( basically for poor students who don't have any resources to get that money themselves).

Due to not graduating, this scholarship has now become a debt. I now owe this money to Full Sail because it is only paid upon graduation from their University. WHAT A JOKE.

I am hungry for an education and my grades reflect that. The financial burden and emotional distress this situation has caused is beyond words at this point. None of my classes will even transfer to my new school, so I have to start all over again, as this last year at Full Sail has been a waste of time. I essentially am paying them $10,000 for one class I have been stuck in.

Every staff member screens my phone call every single time now; I tried reaching the Director of Student Affairs and was told "she was out of the office temporarily" - I left a voicemail and emailed her directly 4 days ago and have heard nothing. The staff is rude every single time I call. I printed out my phone records for the last 6 months and they have called me literally twice - to "see how things are going", not mentioning one thing about me failing 3 months in row. What a joke of a school.

I have had a lot of issues with this college not only that I am not getting a tutor because of my disability but also it s harder for me to learn the programs with this short of time in between classes. They said they would work with my time schedule but it s not the truth I m working around their time line.

The lady that contacted me about the fafsa was extremely rude, when I d tell her I already completed it she argue with that I didn t know I was talking about. Even when I was speaking she cut me off and undermine what I said.

Credits don't transfer to most schools. Other university and college music programs will not honor the credit earned at Full Sail University nor recognized the "degree" awarded by Full Sail. If you want to work in the entertainment and music industries, look for a program that is regionally and nationally accredited. Avoid institutions that are also for-profit schools such as Full Sail. There are better places out there than Full Sail that will provided better resources, student support, and financial aid.
