Soooooooo expensive and almost impossible to do accelerated program. Not a school I would recommend, but the concept is inviting. Wish there would have been more guidance from the time we looked at the school. There needs to be reality-based instruction to potential applicants regarding accelerated and traditional programs. Area surrounding Full Sail is very dangerous, and I heard a rumor that one of the owners of Full Sail owns all apartments which are super expensive; that's why no dorms are available. The whole thing seems corrupt to me. Don't invest in this school unless you can bend over backwards for instructors, go to school even when you're sick, have car transportation, don't have to work to pay for expenses. This university makes it almost impossible for kids right out of high school.

lol It's absolutely absurd to hear people complaining about the fast paced environment. That's one of the main things they tell you before you even get accepted to the school. I have a Bachelors in Computer Animation from Full Sail and I'm currently working on my Masters in Media Design. Yes the school is expensive BUT the education you receive is top notch. Also take into consideration that all your supplies for the entire program is covered within the tuition. You will get what you put into it. Full Sail isn't for the lazy or individuals that lack ambition. It will consume your life but you will walk out a better (whatever your major is).

My family member has gone here and actually is getting jobs left and right, he has so really good skills, but seeing all these comments of people being hurt by this school has ruined my dream of going here (probably for the better) . Seems like it could be a waaaay better school.

Don't waste your money and time at this school. As a graduate of this lying and thieving organization trust me. Your better off learning a trade, attending a public college or studying online tutorials. This establishment will enslave most people with student loan debt for the rest of their lives and give them a subpar education.

I'm not sure about the other programs here at Full Sail, but I was in the Film program, and to me it was a great program. The education, the teachers and even my classmates made my experience here at the school great! I'm not sure what some people are talking about, but after graduation, I recently got accepted to two great universities for grad school (University of Miami, and American University), my accreditation from Full Sail was fine, and they loved my pro folio that I created at Full Sail. If you are in the entertainment world, you need the education, and experience to get you where you need to be. Ive also had 3 great job opportunities since graduating 4 months ago. I'm doing better then a lot of my friends that went to 4 year universities and graduating years ago. Every persons experience is going to be different, but I've been to 2 other 4 year universities before Full Sail, which I didn't like. After going to Full Sail I know I made the right decision.

Prospective students - go to a NON-PROFIT school. ...

Prospective students - go to a NON-PROFIT school. The education is better and WAY less expensive. Full Sail does not have a good reputation.

I attended this rip-off school in 1994, and it's clear that nothing has changed in 25 years. Maybe if I had the benefit of on-line reviews, I would have made a better choice.

In my case, during the tour, they told me that you could test-out of classes for full-credit. When I opted to test out of the live sound engineering class, it was pointed out to me (in the fine print) that you had to make that choice *before enrolling. So I sat in a class for six weeks learning how to do something I had been doing professionally for 5+ years.

Their digital music class at the time was on a Synclavier - technology that was invented in 1978 and no longer found in recording studios in 1994. I can only imagine how far behind they are in gaming and digital animation.

What's especially sad is that many of the 5 star reviews are from "local guides" - paid reviewers and not students or grads. This is their marketing machine at work - that the exorbitant student tuition pays for.

I have just graduated from Full Sail with a Bachelors' in Internet Marketing. The program was excellent and the teachers were fantastic. It was a lot of hard work and very focused. The learning curve was pretty steep initially but once you are in a routine it is just hard work, which is exactly what you would expect. The truth is this is a digital media college and we are living in a world that is all about digital media. I am the owner of a company and this education totally enhances my passion. Well worth every single penny!

After going through multiple google reviews, I have found that it is completely for profit and will basically steal your money. It seems incredibly expensive and doesn't seem to transfer your credits to other colleges. One review in particular scared me, saying that they would call and email me constantly if I gave them my cell phone or email. I was initially grabbed by my excitement and love for gaming; I'd like to be a game developer some day. But all the 1 star reviews have convinced me otherwise, the 1 star reviews are far more convincing than the 5 star ones just saying 'loved it great teachers' or some other form of it. There's no real criticism of the school outside of the 3 and below starred reviews. I signed up for their emails, and immediately someone contacted me asking for my phone number. While I have not attended this school, I'd recommend listening to the many many people who've left bad reviews. Don't let excitement and your love for something lead you to a bad experience.

I am a 2006 Grad from Film and Video. They treat the classes like a job. You get out what you put in. You get credit on how you act, dress, and participate. My class started with 100 student by month 3 or 4 we were down to 60 students. The education style is not for everyone but you find out quick the motivated classmates.

Omg I'm currently a Computer Animation online student and this faculty is amazing! Plus the Tech Support ( especially Nick lol) is stellar. The way these people teach and communicate with their students is thorough and very helpful. I highly recommend.

Well well, If I wasn't sure before, I'm pretty sure now! As a student, I can tell you that the staffs are amazing and help you out in any way possible! Their scholarships are the reason why I got in with no debt to my name! They also provide free Uber/Lyft and free things at events! Tell me what school does that for you? If you are worried about money, try working hard and spamming scholarships. A guarantee job? I can't promise anything, but I can say you have higher chances :)! If you fear money (which idk why because every college is like that), then don't really come. Other than that, every artist come on down and we'll get through this together!

I'm halfway through my BS in Digital Cinematography and I'm already landing paying gigs in my field of study. Like others have said, you only get out of it what you put into it. I've seen a lot of people do the bare minimum to get through classes and have seen several in my 14 months fail classes for not putting in the effort. No directors, producers, etc. are going to come knocking on your door just cause you graduated. Full Sail gives you the tools and professional knowledge to go make something of yourself.
