Food was okay, the cook was awesome, server was ok but she added 18% gratuity to our "party of 6" (my husband, me and our 4 kiddos, one of which is only a year old.) Little did she know we would have tipped more had she not added that on. Having worked in steak houses and other restaurants where automatic gratuity, I went by adults, not parents and their young children.

They are listed as open for 45 more minutes, but are turning people away from take out. This is the third time this has happened. We love their food, but won't be returning based on our experience with their poor customer service. Very disappointing, as we love supporting locally owned restaurants.

We will never return to this place! We tell our friends and family about this place, and we will no longer recommend this restaurant to anyone. My husband and I, and our 6 month old, and our two friends and their one year old came here for dinner and as they handed the checks out they added on the 18% gratuity because we were a party of 6 . My infant didn t eat any of this food and the other baby didn t eat anything but rice (that was free) I get charging parties of 6, but we literally had two infants who didn t eat. We will never be coming here again. I don t find it justifiable to add 18% to a table who had two infants. DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

Had a great experience here! The food was awesome. I personally recommend not sitting at the big tables for the "show". We sat privately and our service was great and the portions of food was worth the price!

My feet sun and stuck to the carpets!!!!!! This place has gone down hill. I used to love it. Haven't been in a couple of years, but since then I can't believe how gross the restaurant was. Just plain dirty. Food was ok. I probably wont go back to this location.

Fun and yummy food. They cook in front of you.

I took away a star for how nasty the bathroom smelt from the lobby. I never went in there but something was smelling terrible during our wait to eat.

The food was good, the chef was great, but the hostess and the server rushed our party of 4, as soon as the chef was done, i was asked if we wanted "to go" boxes. I said "not yet, but we would each like another hot saki. As soon as the saki came out they boxed our food and the hostess said "if you want to finish your drinks, do it at the bar" ...she didn't thank me for paying the $250 bill, nor the tip I left.

Shame on you Fujiyama.

A family member just called for our food and we are SHOCKED at the response we got. After spending over $80.00 on a to go order we get home to crazy small portions, we were upset but thought 'whatever' it's to go and we can let it slide. THEN comes the salad, I open the salad and start eating it and BOOM a hair. After the hair I thought oh no no no, I have to call now. We call the manager who in return tells us that she can offer a free salad and 15% off on our next order....WHAT!? She then tells us she can't redo the food because NOBODY is cooking right now (it's 8PM) on a Sunday. We proceed to get frustrated and say we do not want the 15% off or the salad, we will just bring it back. (Get this) after we say that she YELLS "SORRY YOU WANT TO BRING YOUR MEALS BACK BECAUSE OF A HAIR." After that we ask for her boss and she LEGIT says in I quote "It does not matter who my boss is." She then proceeds to put us on hold until we hang up. We have been going to Fujiyama for years, the cooks know us as soon as we walk in and we are always SUPER GENEROUS with tips. We will NOT be going back to this place and will happily travel to Tacoma for better service.

The place was packed, thankfully we had reservations. We were seated quickly, but at a table with four children under the age of four. Ordered the chicken and steak combo. Never received our soup. Annoying, but okay. The food was cooked well, and was tasty but there was no show because one of the children was scared. So my husband and i missed out and didn't get to enjoy the main attraction of hibachi. We were then rushed out and didn't get our dessert that came with the meal. Overall, I'm giving them a three because the food was tasty. Otherwise it would be a one. Definitely an assembly line type restaurant. It was not designed for people to enjoy the show or their food.

First off appetizer came out after the entree and meal was close to over sent it back. Second, waitress was rude after the food was sent back.Third was charged an additional three dollars without prior consent to price addition for fried rice lol. When I spoke to the manager after paying was met with a snobbish attitude just for voicing my concerns and dismissed my unsatisfactory experience without any apology as she frustratedly returned my three dollars and walked away. So won t get another dollar from me or anyone I know or meet in the future don t go there not worth it very pitiful service and subpar food better off going to fortune cookie in DuPont try it better for less.

Wonderful food. Friendly staff. Try the hibachi fried rice along with any of the meals and the ginger dressing they put on the salads is addictive. I've never wished a restaurant had given me a bigger house salad before (and it was decently sized mind you). I was a solo diner on a very busy Friday and my food still arrived quickly. I will visit again!

Our server this evening wore his mask underneath his chin. I, being a server understand the importance of wearing it properly during this time. Drinks were refilled using our dirty glasses. Hence, our germs being distributed to the soda machine to be given to another diner. Other than that, it was a nice little hoorah before shutdown.

Dine in, is all I can say!
Terrible food if you order it to go. Just ordered veggie hibatchi and my veggies are not cooked. Sorry but I really don't like eating raw onions.. thanks for taking my 60 dollars and giving me uncooked food. Super gross, waste of my hard earned money.

new to the area, came here celebrating a birthday, service was nice, cook was very friendly and energetic. Food was amazing worth the 65 we spent. The only thing was the yum yum sauce or down south we call it the shrimp sauce wasn't all that but besides they food was fresh and well cooked

Even with reservations we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. We waited another 45 minutes for our chef to arrive at our table. The staff joked about us being the last table, the table keeping them from going home, but it was less of a joke and we were made to feel like an imposition. The waiter was more concerned with his closing duties than refilling our drinks. The chef was quick to work his way through our order with minimal goofing around and the corny jokes we look forward to. So I would say they fell short of our expectations this visit for sure. In the past we have had excellent service. The food had always been fresh and delicious, even if this time the service left much to be desired.

My husband and I enjoyed it quite a bit. It's a dinner and a show basically. It was entertaining. We got the dinner for two steak and shrimp meal and it was delicious and our bill was only about fifty dollars. Chef was funny too. Yes, you do get to sit with other people if you don't have enough in your group, but we didn't mind. we
