Good food, cook wasn't as theatrical as others there. It was a busy Saturday nite. Ordered shrimp with fried rice. Tasted good.waiter was very attentive to our needs. A little on the pricey side, our group had 10 adults and 2 kids 18% gratuity so unfortunately no other tip was left. Had read other reviews and the restrooms were mentioned quite a bit. You could definitely smell the odor of chemical cover-up? I personally didn't use them so I can't say what kind of shape they actually were.

Food was fantastic! The chef's know how to put on a show and entertain. Very child friendly. Service overall was very good. I would put in a reservation before showing up, it fills up fast.

My son had reservations last night at 7:00 for a party of 5 before prom. They arrived at this restaurant at 6:45 but weren't seated until 8:00. They didn't get drinks until 8:20 and didn't get food until just before 9:00. When they asked about their table the staff kept telling them they were still getting it ready. They finally got to prom an hour and a half late. Don't go to this place if you have somewhere to be after!

Wow the food and service was amazing! I don't say that often but we ate so fast because it was melting in our mouthes. The chef recommended mixing some of the white sauce with the rice, simply perfect! All that and a 10% military discount and lunch prices till 3PM.

This was our first dinner at this location, and we were very disappointed not only with the taste of our food (way too salty, burnt vegetables, steamed rice was not brought to the table timely) but also with the manager on duty. The group of guests across our table brought their young child to dinner, which obviously is not the issue, yet played "Frozen" on their phone to entertain the child at a volume that I could hear the entire movie across the table. It was rude, and should have been addressed by the manager who was standing close by, prior to me mentioning it.
After speaking to the manager about our experience, she did not seem very concerned, and only gave a short "Hopefully next time will be better" answer. We will not come back, and spend more than $170 on a lousy dinner!

Called in a take out order, waited almost an hour for a promised call back when the food was ready. Finally went down to the restaurant to find out they didn t even put our order in, then told us it would be another 30 minutes to get the food. Had we not already been waiting and here would have gone elsewhere. Very sad from a customer service standpoint.

Really great food, good service and a fun atmosphere. The only reason I gave it a four star was because I think they need to incorporate garlic into their meals, especially their fried rice. But it's a great experience and still a really good meal with plenty for the next day.

Good food, I was a little worried because i heard it was spendy and i am a cheapskate, but it was reasonable service was good. Be aware, you will be at a table of at least 8 so you will make new friends. Luckily we were seated with the crew from Harbor Optemology so there were some familiar faces. We Will be back.

Fantastic food. The chefs are incredibly talented, the wait staff is attentive and the show is always fun. This is definitely a favorite, a place for special occasions.

As a side note, the chefs will pay extra attention to the littles to help keep them entertained while you're waiting. My son loves the tricks and it makes the wait so much more bearable.

They do need to do something about the front doors! They are very dangerous, they slam shut on people all the time. Saw 2 people get slammed by them last night, one was carrying a baby! Not good! Ihave never had a bad meal here. The chefs are awesome

On Dec. 23 My family & I came in for early Christmas dinner. Our waiter was fabulous and very tentative and efficient. Our Chef was creative and hilarious. Now to the food...Every dish of the 10 was so delicious. My children and grandchildren were so happy and the food so amazing as usual. Thank you for being so fabulous with my famoly and keep up the good work and great food. We'll be back!

Everything was excellent. All of it. The chef seemed bored, but was friendly.

Was there 9-22-18, 6 pm. The food gets 4 stars, but the low rating is because of the chef. An older gentleman who was clearly unhappy to be there. First he dropped 3 eggs, 2 of them in our plates which splattered us and went all over our clothes. No apologies. When he served the scallops, he flung them so fast on the plate, several fell to the floor. No apologies again. The same thing happened when the steak was served. Right on the floor. At least that time he said "oop's". After everything else was cooked, he finally start cooking the chicken. Way to late. Everyone else was finished with their meals by the time it was cooked.

If this chef doesn't want to work anymore, please don't force him on people that want a pleasant dining experience.

Got there at six and had made reservations for 5 people. We were seated immediately. The waiter was friendly and funny, seemed a little rushed but not at a level I minded. We were given a decent amount of time to talk and eat our salad and soup. The soup was a beef broth with two slices of mushroom, chives and some meat shavings. It taste good but wasn't much of a soup. The salad was iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and a sweet ginger sauce. If you have or are allergic tomatoes you may want to say something. The soda refills were on the slow side but I never sat long with out a fresh soda. The chef came out and gave a fun presentation. He interacted with the two small children really well and my older kids well. Joking and talking to the people with realism, talking about what he cooks at home. This was with prompting from the other family at the table. The food was well cooked to order and the proportions were nice. At the end the staff came out banging a drum and chime for the two birthday girls at our table. They led the restraunt in singing happy birthday, and the birthday girls got a desert. After the chef was done cleaning the grill he turned off the overhead light which made it surprisingly dark. It was only dark for a few minutes while the other sides chef wheeled his cart up and started his show. I noticed very little difference between the two except different gags for the kids. A fake egg instead of a fake bottle of mustard. Overall would recommend and go again.

Table chef guy was terrible and hornery! No personality and only bragged about his experience and awesomeness! Food ordered from the kitchen was gross and food cooked in front of us was bland.

The traditional birthday joint. We have been coming here for a long time for birthdays. The food is pretty good, the chefs are entertaining for the most part. Have had a few that were as exciting as a colonoscopy but generally they do a good job. My daughter chose Fujiyama's for her 6th birthday tonight. Chef did a great job with the food but was not super entertaining. Nice guy though. The server was great, he took great care of my 6 year old and brought her cake and ice cream with the whole crew singing. It was AWESOME. I do question the cleanliness however. The place needs new carpet and a very deep cleaning. Has a funny smell. Bathrooms, men's anyway, never seem very clean no matter what time of day. I do appreciate that they now do not clean the grill after they serve the final dish. It's nice not to have the steam from the grill being cleaned as you finish your meal.

It's a fun place to have dinner. The staff was friendly. Busy place.

Shitties service ever! Waitress barely check on my mother and I. Not to mention the rubber chicken made by a very rude chef! My mother ended up ordering a shrimp dinner and the chef decided to pass out her food to the guest around us and she was only served with four pieces! Complete and absolute rip off! Will not be visiting this place ever again.

Love Fujiyama! Very entertaining and the food is amazing! Allittle pricey But we'll worth it, You get alot of food!! So your definaly taking some home. So worth it. Also, Everyone is really friendly.

Great show wonderful service that's the place to go

The food was delicious! We had the filet mignon and salmon. Not a salmon fan, but I ate some. Not bad. The filet though.... perfect! It's a bit pricey, but will worth it! Plus, your food is cooked right in front of you, which is amazing to watch.

This being my first time ever eating here I was highly impressed. The staff was great and the food was beyond expectations. I will not hesitate coming back here again and again!!!!!

Very good food, but not good treatment. We were shown to a group table with a grill and realized we weren't going to be able to order until the table filled up. We decided we were way too hungry for the wait and asked if we may just sit at a regular table. It was okay, but we weren't treated the best after that. It seemed like we really offended the cook and the waitress which is really unfortunate. We are used to other hibachi places asking us if we'd like a private or group table so it was out of ignorance that we didn't ask before we were seated. We really just didn't feel welcome so we paid and left quickly.

Was actually worried about the quality of the food due to previous reviews. We celebrated my daughter's birthday here & we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Fried rice was very good, waiter was attentive as was the rest of the staff, chef was fun & personable. I would definitely come back again. Was a lot of fun.

The hostess wasn't very friendly upon arrival. Our waiter did a good job. The Hibachi chef was fun and made my food delicious.

We usually doprivate seating. The waitress we got was know it all and very rud. This was not getting this same waitress. Each time she acts like she better then us. She told us how she been a waitress for six years and the drink she made was right. Each time we been there and had this same waitress our food always been messed up and cold. Anytime we have hada different waitress we have had a great time.

Took my entire family. Everyone loved the entertainment. The food was delicious and no one left hungry.

Was a weekday, and it was like a ghost town, but it is packed on Friday and Saturday nights.

The only downside is the price, $25+ per person, makes it a special occasion only place, for us.

One of my wife and my favorite places to eat. The food is great and the servers are friendly. There can be a wait some days, but it is well worth it.

Forced to sit at a table with people we don't know. When I tried to move down a couple chairs to give some space, the waitress said "No, it's here" directing me back to the seat next to a large gentleman with his family that felt just as awkward about being forced to sit with strangers. There was plenty of space open for a party of two to sit alone, but they would rather funnel you into a group dinner. It's either a failed gimmick, or just lazy service. Not for me.

We took our 9 year old here yesterday to celebrate his birthday. We had such a wonderful experience! Having an hibachi dinner is an annual tradition for celebrating his birthday and this was our best time yet! The chef was extremely talented and quite entertaining, great food and a great show.

It s always the best place to get hibachi in Olympia make sure you do the 2 for 1 dinners and lunch otherwise they kind of scam you charging $6 per person for fried rice.

We never leave hungry from here. The meals are prepared right in front of you and the chefs are very entertaining. It can be quite loud when there's a birthday in the house with the drums and cymbals though. Be prepared to stay about an hour and a half. The portions are generous, but if you get a meal for takeout-not so much. All in all, always a fun experience.

Our chef cooked excellently but his presentation was a bit lack luster. The food was truly delicious and I will be returning for it.

Had reservations for 8. Hostess wanted to seat our group at a table behind the chef. Isn't that the reason we go there to watch the chef prepare our food. Refused and sat so we could see the chef. Chef didnt talk or interact, was very boring. This place is going down hill. Restrooms stink and are dirty, hostess is extremely rude and $225.00 later I have serious doubts about returning. Chefs are paid to perform. Obviously not this one.

Great food, and a great show, we got the older Gentleman chef who puts on a good performance, they light oil on fire, and make a volcano (with fire) using an onion, but he always asks if fire is OK before that part of it.

We came there around 8pm dinner for 8 peoples on june 23, and the host refuse us to put in waiting list. The restaurant seem not to busy, and they close at 10pm. How come the young lady host refuse us? The owner should managt their employee, if keep doing like that will hurt their business for sure.

The food was incredible! I was absolutely stuffed by the end of the meal! The place is great, and I would love to eat there whenever!

Fun atmosphere, delicious food, easy access, plenty of parking space
