There's something about walking around in a store that has almost anything your nerdy heart desires that just makes you feel all good inside. Plus they price match internet prices so you can get the store experience with the internets prices. Huge Fry's electronics and fun store with a cafe.

Place looks like Hurricane Katrina came through. The shelves are absolutely empty. The technology they had left was old and was still price at the original price it came out at. I was a huge fan of fries due to them being close and stock of most everything. unfortunate that I have to go to Amazon or other stores because fries cannot keep any thing in stock

Excellent store.iam not a kind of person who will go to an electronics store and spend a lot of time or money but this one just did the opposite..I came out of the store buying more than I thought I would spending nothing less than 3 hours..its a different world with so many basic things that one uses everyday at an affordable rate.lots of parking space here.totally worth it!!

Also they have a 30day return policy which solves everything!!

So it's been awhile since I've been to a Fry's. I remember when it was a mecca of activity and tons of people buying stuff a few years ago. With the existence of Amazon and NewEgg going well the way they are Fry's has really taken a hit. And you can tell by the empty parking lots. This one is a shell of what it use to be. Prices are consistently higher than online and selection while impressive for a big box store just can't compete anymore.

Really disappointing, like a ghost town. I remember the original Fry's, and this seemed like an empty shell of a past expansion, with employees that don't care about anything.

I went looking for a Chromecast, and could find shelf space for it. Spent several minutes looking for a employee, who said "we're out of stock", when he clearly knew they never carried it.

DVD and Blu-ray selection was terrible and unorganized.

I am saddened to see the once iconic Fry's store go down the tubes. I was at the grand opening of this store and during the dot com period, this place was packed. There was food, delicious whole bean coffee for sale, drinks, tons of software, cd's, dvd's, printers, laptops, computers, and everything computer and networking, plus more! What has happened is really surprising. Hardly any customers, empty shelves, and empty parking lot. I am confident the end is near and the real estate will be sold for millions.

Sadly the popularity of stores like these are dying but thus the service is always fast and it serves its place as a quick place to find some parts I need immediately that I can't order online. Some of the employees aren't too knowledgeable but I usually don't need them.

During this hard and challenging time Fry s employees are handling the situation very well and most importantly safely. Process is quick and simple to order online and pick it up from here. Prices are great and I really hope Frys will restock and keep doing their business here !!

I could spend my whole paycheck here! Everything that has a battery, plugs in, or holds an electronic device is here. Amazing, huge, and great prices. You won't escape without buying something. Will take you an hour or two just to walk the isles.

This should be no stars. This is the third time I have bought an item and it was not the right part in the box. Please start checking your returned items. This is stealing at its highest! Both the store not knowing they are selling a wrong part and being bought at retail price and the customer losing money!

This is a MUST go when looking for a gift for a kid or a kid at heart! It has tons of great STEAM kits, supplies, etc. (Arduino, soldering kits, 3D printers, filament, drones, the list goes on & on). Home appliances and accessorries... it has it ALL!

This is one of the best places to buy electronics items. For desktop computer you will find all CPUs, motherboard, Led fan, PSU, ATX cabinets, Water cpu cooler etc. Deep discounted items can be bought online.

I went in to buy a cell phone car holder. They have a small variety, and prices are a little better than at Target's. Not enough, however, to go out of your way to go there. Also, the store I went to did not take Google Pay, so I had to go back to my car to get the actual card. For an electronic store, that was disappointing.

This Fry's electronics is the flagship store, second location. It's the one you impress your out of town visitors with. This is AN ELECTRONICS STORE! Just go here to do your electronics shopping; books, a big As Seen On TV section, snacks, computer, printers, DVDs, blank media, batteries, TV's on display, cameras, and more. And they'll match internet prices. Sign up for their daily promos to get good prices on things you didn't know you needed. Happy shopping

I visited the Frys Sunnyvale store yesterday around 8 PM to buy a Sony 4K TV which was being sold with a special offer. As I went near the TV section, I did not find any sales associates around. On the positive side, the TVs were arranged in a much better fashion than a Best Buy store I visited earlier. Each brand had its own section with the models roughly sorted by screen size and price. I looked around for a few minutes. Two store associates come to the TV counter and stand quietly without asking me or other customers if we needed any help. I wanted to know if Samsung had any good models around the same price range as the Sony TV. As I approached the TV sales counter to ask for help, I found the store associates were gone. As I was walking to the billing counter near the entrance of the store to ask my questions, one of them came back. I asked him why they only have the Samsung MU models but not the KS models. I told him that the older KS models (SUHD) received better reviews than the MU (UHD/ Premium UHD) ones and were also a bit pricier. I received a shocking and impolite response filled with a tone of racial discrimination. He said "This is America. Here older models get out of stock soon ..."(Then some broken sentence I couldn't understand. He was clearly trying to imply that since I did not look like an American citizen to him, I had no idea how the consumer electronics market works here.) At that point I had pretty much decided that I was not going to buy anything from this store. He asked me what my budget was and what was the screen size I was looking for. He directly pointed to one of the Samsung models and told me to buy that. He did not care to explain its features or its advantages over other models. When I mentioned about the Sony model, he said that it was better and I should get that one. He did not care to explain what were its advantages over the Samsung model. He didn't even power it up to show me the picture quality.

This is the first time I had such a bad experience at a Frys store. I would still visit other Frys stores because of the positive experience I had during my earlier visits, but I would not visit this store again.

This store delivered the Shadiest retail experience i've ever had. moving forward i will avoid them like the plague.

In a nutshell, Fry's refused to let me return an unopened product less than 24 hours after i purchased it, even though their return policy allows for a 30 day return of that category of product. i even showed them their own return policy. it looks like they make it up as they go.

i've never in my life seen deceptive retail practices like this, am in the process of filing a BBB report, disputing the charge and making sure my return goes through.

They claim if you place an order by 3 pm they will deliver it that day. They lie. Placed an order at 12 noon. Order was accepted, I got an email saying it would be delivered. Then I got a phone call saying not until tomorrow, and the person told me, rather rudely, that I should not have been able to place the order. With service like this, no wonder the store is empty.

Fry's Electronics used to be my favorite electronics store. I would go there to build my computer, talk with some of the people that work there, and just enjoy some of the latest tech.

Partially because of the virus, but mostly because of big-name online retailers, the entire store was a ghost town. Entire display aisles that used to have prebuilds and state of the art monitors are empty. There were no motherboards, processors, or graphics cards at all. No laptops. No nothing. This store looked like it was struggling before the virus, but with some of the major reasons to visit the store completely out of stock, I don't see it surviving until Christmas.

A sad husk of a store. Clearly hurting from competing online retail, this store has very little stock. Went in for a soldering iron, found the shelves absolutely barren, with only a single beat-up box appearing to be from the 80's for $119. Microcenter is able to survive with decent inventory - what is going on with Fry's? Clearly this location is just limping along with no aim towards long-term survival. A depressing sight given memories of other bustling, well-stocked Fry's from decades ago.

Its a huggggeeee place full of all electronics items right from small spare parts to huge electronic items. The cost is competitive and in some cases as good as amazon or even better.

I felt that the place was a little understaffed. Even though it is well organized sometimes its hard to find items. For ex. I was looking for an USB to audio adapter and it was a little hard to figure out myself.

It's one of the better ones around... in about 2 minutes I was annoyed by the floor-personnel, About 13 people asked if I had any questions. Seems they hire brainless Zombies... "Logic would tell you that if I had a question, I'd be the one approaching YOU, buffoon" Well, best tip is, know what you want... know the prices on Amazon, Newegg, wherever else, before you buy anything. Also check to make sure it's not a discontinued product because Fry's seems to sell a lot of those. Same with defective products, most are on sale. Then, they will have them no longer... They put stuff on sale last minute before it falls off the market completely and the warranty can't really be used because the products were discontinued so you'd have to settle for a similar one at the same price. :/ Kind of sad. But, It's all the peoples faults for not doing the research before going into these large stores. I'm going there to buy a mouse i found for 13 dollars cheaper on Newegg! WTG Newegg!!! I dont order online because I don't use a bank/credit account for ordering anything.

Usually have what we are looking for. Customer Service is friendly and helpful. Price match and rebates are worth the purchase for big items. 4 stars because customer service for returns with 3 small kids is a hot mess to wait through.

I've had mixed experiences here. Good selection of routers, was able to find the one I was looking for quickly with an employee's help, great experience. The second visit I was browsing for TVs, and their selection was not too great, and the employees seemed to be aggressively trying to upsell us on more expensive items, and didn't have Roku TVs I believe. Ended up buying a TV from somewhere else.

BEWARE: This store shipped a gaming computer to me packaged only in several layers of bubble wrap. It arrived with the case broken and the graphics card cracked off the mother board. Their customer service was horrible and they initially required me to pay return postage to get my refund but after several phone calls and emails they finally provided return shipping and a full refund. I will never buy from Fry's again after this experience.
