service is abysmal. Only come here if you don't need service at all. They tell you to look it up on the internet. Waited 20 minutes for them to find a manager with the keys to the display case!! Product was $279 at the store but $219 on line at Fry's. Sales people didn't know anything.

This store here in Sunnyvale off of Arques was vacant do to the virus. The shelves were not stocked, little assistance, all because of the virus. Fry's Electronics is a good Electronics store, just not anything available, or anyone there to help.

Now I know where they stick all the idiots. I spent 30 min in line, when it came time to pay they were trying to tell me I had gotten an item that was not on sale, but was clearly marked..... I ended up walking out thinking I would much rather masturbate with a cheese grater then spend any more life energy dealing with idiocy at its best.... Customer service girl screams God Damn its to hot... And on and on.....

Employees aren't all that helpful, especially when you're looking for a low-cost item. Try glancing at the laptops or TV's... they'll surround you like you're the last Coke in the desert. Other than that, I like coming here a lot, even if it's just to see what's new. Store is big, clean, and there's pleeeenty of parking.

Fry's one of the best and biggest stores for electronics and technology that I know, I really like the place, since they always have the newest and the variety and quantity of products that are for sale is so extensive that you could easily spend a whole day watching everything. Something else parking is huge, so there is always space and you never have to worry about finding space to park.

I am happy that we have such a place today. This is the only store where I can drop in and buy any electronic component for my prototyping work. Prices are reasonable and selection is huge. I hate their promo code nonsense though. Why not just offer a loyalty card like safeway? The Cafe is good too.

Frys has almost everything. I went looking for a laptop bag, and left with that plus a laptop skeeve, a set of luggage, a back brace, and a book. It's pretty good priced as well. From computer parts to as seen on TV items to even beds and appliances, it's a one stop shop.

If you're a techie, Fry's has a lot of stuff to keep you interested! The Sunnyvale store was the original Fry's Electronics, and it was located on Oakmead Parkway before moving to it's present location on Arques.

Ugh. I dread coming to this place. Their online inventory seems to be highly inaccurate. I've tried numerous times to do in store pick-ups on items the website says is available in store only to find out that it is not available. The staff is very unfriendly. No one smiles. It's hard to enjoy being here when the people that work here clearly do not.

Before other warehouse stores there was Fry's electronics. Still there and matching internet prices for the same thing. One star off for car stereo not having people when and where you need them.

Have to knock down my last review.

Have to knock down my last review.

* No DB9 female-female ANYTHING in their store. No cables, no adapters.

* Not staffed enough. Not enough employees available to help

* Item SKU was invalid, waited 10 min for a fix, the fix was too add the wrong game. They had to fix the error at the register.

* Nothing but country music playing all day. Being in there for over an hour was excruciating.

Still, a million times better than any Best Buy. Fry's has it all, they match anything, store looks great. Fantastic themes.

The service was good, helpful, humble, and knowledgeable. No airs. Fair prices, too. U would give it five, but the shelves looked pretty picked over, not much left. The toy department selection was rather lacking, too. Not their main wares, but I was looking for this for 2 year olds and there was very little, and what was there was in pretty bad shape or only one or two items, not much to choose from. From such a big store, I would expect more.

Did I go back into time?! This place reminds me of the 90s and when I was a kid going to an electronics store! Kinda weird that a lot of the shelves are empty and there are no TVs or computers/laptops on display. Not sure what is going on there, if they got removed because of covid or because there is no demand?

Interesting to see that they sell also household electronics like blenders and tea kettles and other stuff like plastic cups. Never knew that they sold these things till this visit.

Very clean store.

This place is horrible. Ask a question about a product and they send you to the next department. You ask the next department and they send you to the before department.

I would never go to this place again. One of the worker in components yelled at me to go look on the wall. Indian guy with glasses and fat.

If you have something that you are not familiar with do not go to this store

I gave this place two stars because they are advertising items in stock but they are actually out in store. They list their demo models as inventory so it appears as stock on the website... this is the sort of manipulate strategies Best Buy was using years ago. I drove 34 miles today and it was a total waste of my time. Otherwise they have a large selection of low to mid-range in quality electronics. Also, it seems like it is commission based because the sales staff was very pushy.

Good selection. Store is usually empty these days, but most products are pretty up to date. Fry's does price matching with online retailers like Amazon, so don't be afraid to just buy in store and talk to the cashier.

The store is huge, you can get what you wanted right away comparing to Amazon, however the customer service is terrible at this location. I don't recommend coming here unless you need something right away

If you're looking for that online order you placed, good luck. If you need to supply the next 30 years of light bulbs in an obscure section of the store then you've found your honey hole. Out dated displays and business model. Untrained and limited knowledge employees, mainly because they're paid minimum wage and commissions that can be returned 3 weeks later and employee takes that hit on current pay period. Cheap knock off products in mass supply but any good name brand is in very limited quantity. Managers are just sales people with a password. This company is the Titanic and it hit the iceberg in the mid 2000's. Get your life preservers.

Good.

You will find almost all of your electronic needs here. They carry a good variety of items on shelves.

I was looking for an adapter for my phone and I was pointed to 3 different places within the same store, iPhone accessories, AV, and communication equipment. Store staff members are semi-helpful but not quite enthusiastic about getting you to where you need to go.

By the way, they match Internet pricing if you have proof.

It is a good place for me to hunt for electronic gadgets.

Staff is dwindling so help is hard to find

But not as pushy on sales, so perhaps commission based pay was done away with in the last few years. Knowledge seems to be diminishing with attrition. There are much more tech savvy people in Best Buy! However prices are hard to beat, with an online price match guarantee.

Used to go to Fry's all the time growing up. It used to be the play to go to buy video games, applicances, or any kind of electronics. Now they mostly sell As Seen on TV merchandise. Employees are always eager to chase you down to get what seems like "commission" on the smallest purchase (was chased down for a power strip). Not sure how this place is still alive.
