Empty and depressing. 50/50 chance they have what you need, which is embarrassing for a computer store in silicon valley.
Empty and depressing. 50/50 chance they have what you need, which is embarrassing for a computer store in silicon valley.
I like to come because I always find what I need at the moment
Large electronics and PC parts store with plenty of aisles, and almost always stocked with what you need.
First things first: The staff was anything but helpful, I was not once approached or greeted by a salesperson, in the multiple times I've been up and down the aisles. I had to begin conversation and most times the salesperson I was speaking with wasn't sure of what I needed, "because it wasn't their section.." or they didn't know who manages it.
The selection of items was great and had plenty of parts and electronics at competitive pricing; with the options for price matching and the tax to be paid for. (If the item qualifies)
I believe in customer service being top priority, especially over having countless aisles of items for sale. Why sell it if your sales staff can't answer questions or direct me to those who can?
My suggestion to Fry's: please work on staff training and ensuring that they work within their sections, and have them at least say hello. It goes a long way to maintaining a long-term customer base.
This place used to be awesome but lately it s dirty empty and it s hard to find anybody who will help you! What happened??
I never thought I would say this but you re better off just going on Amazon.
This location, like the Campbell location I visited recently, is very nearly a ghost town version of a store. The majority of the shelves and aisles in this massive store were empty or nearly so. The remaining inventory was very inconsistent and random. The parking lot was almost completely empty as well. The extremely limited staff was actually still as helpful as they could be given the lack of things for sale, but they also all seemed to be internally dealing with a lot of stress. I'm giving 3 stars because they still have a lot of things that you can't find anywhere else, and I hope they get their new business model up and running soon, though it looks pretty bleak.
I always love going to Fry's. They have a bigger selection than BestBuy & more knowledgeable people. But, I miss Tesla's coil. Cheers
Great place, lots of electronics. Amazing prices, as compared to online prices
Been out of California for 2 years. Went in, it was empty. I wanted a Fitbit. Not found. Goodbye
Love how plentiful the choices and how low the process are
Please be always careful when you buy anything from Fry's if it is an open item on not.
I love the range of products at Frys.....not always the best service but at times it can be amazing
Not very helpful asked where Chromecast was told go left at the TV's. That was 40 isles over. When asking another clerk he told me isle 71. The worse part was when I complained about the directions from service department he looked at me and told me that he was right. I will no longer go to this frys
They took a minute... or few longer then I expected but service was great they are friendly and helped with what they could. But not many people here
. Shopping or working. Never seen such an empty frys before.
So Far A Good Experience When I Come Here. Always Find What I Come Here For. Friendly Staff.
Terrible. Like a ghost town. The shelves were empty. Looks like the place is closing
Not nearly as crowded as the place used to be. The employees are helpful and checkout was quick with no line.
Undercover security kept following me. Love this store with it's promocodes. They have pretty good deals for movies, electronics, and other household items that you possibly saw on Amazon. There are also snacks and drinks that are right before you pay. I would've given a better rating but again I don't appreciate being treated like a criminal when shopping.
I love this place lot of options for my electronic needs and best prices..
Not all it was cracked up to be. Not a very browser friendly place. It would be good if you were going to the store with something in mind.
Huge, too bad everything is going to internet these days
Store was empty. I was looking for thermal compound to install a processor and they didn't have any, enough though there was a spot for it. It looked like they were about to close the store since half of the shelves were empty.
Four stars for having such a large variety of different products for almost anything you're doing! I would give it 5 stars but, some of their large variety of merchandise is outrageously priced!
So sad. It's a mere shell of its former glory... 'nuff said...
Best prices for electronics and they match any price
It is a pale shadow of what it once was. Selection is slim, and employees wander around with nothing to do. Customers are few and far between. I have a feeling their days are numbered.
The store was empty of products. Went looking for a laptop and they selling had almost nothing but old refurbished products.
Large shopping yards, household appliances and furniture are dazzling.
Seems to be low on stock with few staff available to assist. Many of the shelves were empty and so selection was limited
It's fry's, the people that "helped me" in the computer section wouldn't price match some printer ink for me because it wasn't on some list they use. However at checkout they we're able to price match it.
I took my laptop for a repair. It included a diagnostic.. When I asked them what was wrong with my laptop, they told me some vague answer I already knew and they wouldn't tell me what was actually wrong. They said they didn't know.
If you want to know why something is broken don't bother asking here. But they did fix my computer.
On another note, a different laptop was brought in and they charged 70 + 130 'flat rate' but that doesn't seem right as it completely was a rip off since my laptop was only 130. So they seem to be ripping us off on that point.
A manager is not always on site. Only there sometimes.
It's Fry's.....As long as you don't actually need help from an Associate, it's great...
They match online prices and have a very large selection of electronics
My experience is good at Frys, sales mans are really friends they helped me to find out what am looking. Frys have all electronics items.
My favorite place for buy and check the latest in electronics, especially for electronic components passive and Microprocessors oh I almost forgot they still selling anime movies. great place.
Best kept secret for lunch. Plenty of parking, decent food/priced, clean restrooms, and free wifi. Plus I can browse the latest cool gadgets and gear that I'd never remember on Amazon!
Huge selection of electrical appliances and computer parts all in one roof. However, it can be a bit overwhelming if you don't do any research and sort of decide what you want before visiting the place.
There's a huge selection of fries for electronics. It can't be hard to find items that you need without asking for help there. The sales staff is very attentive, and they are eager to assist. Returns can be difficult there though, so buyer beware.
Spectacular.the biggest electronics store I've ever been to.
i can find almost any component related to computers, audio, video electronics here.
Went for PC mouse and keyboard . I got a very good deal on both. The only problem is that the store is big and you have to search for things
They have everything electronic, from single transistors to refrigerators.
Great to browse on any weekday. Don't buy anything important here. It will be a re-shrink wrapped return that is missing parts. Buy goofy oddball stuff and you won't be disappointed.
So many stuff there..... but you are on your own! (YOYO)
Love going through Frys. There is always something to look at. Today I am picking up an order. The staff are always friendly and my checkout was quick. Go Frys
It's a little slow in the mornings. Got there early wright when they open.
The second worst place on earth the prices are out of control and they wont help you find anything the people dont know anything
Great prices, good customer service. Even better if there's a physical location near you!
A good place to see everything offered in an area (laptops, printers, cables, stereos, electronic devices, etc). Including the low end and lower quality or performance stuff so beware and research what you want. If you have an idea of the quality you are looking for that helps.
There's nothing much here anymore. Used to be you could get everything electronic here but now shelves are nearly empty. I remember when it was hard to get a parking spot many years ago, but now the only cars in the parking lot seems to be the employees.
One good thing is the cashiers a friendly, but hard to give it more than 2 stars when there is nothing left in the store.
Fry's can be a strange place but they always seem to have something you need... PC supplies galore and at good prices.
It is very big place and there any many choices but it seems like some stocks are old. But still you cannot find the place like here
A good place to buy all kind of electronics. Most of the time you will have good offers. If you miss you are loading at least 25%. They have good collection of electronic sare parts, network equipments , AV components. They have good selection of test equipmente and TH components. I was a bit disappointed as there was not much choice.for Adhiniyam module. I viisited the place to buy a hakko soldering station to bring to India. But the stock they had was only with 110v
Looks like it's going to be closing soon. Most shelves are empty. Truly sad, I loved the place.
It is so sad to find this incredibly big place so empty. But reality is that I had to walk in this huge store just to find out that they are getting really bad. My suggestion for them would be to reorganize the store in a smaller place so people can easily find what they are looking and the store could survive.
Went there earlier today to get some gaming components, and extremely happy with the result, if you ever want to buy any gaming computer components ask for James!! He will recommend the best for you and he's very knowledgeable.
Thank you James!
Everything you need... which makes it hard to decide what to get. Do your homework before you visit.
Seems like they're going or of business... Lots of empty shelves...
There is almost always something on a special deal that's worth getting. I haven't had any repairs done there yet. I'm hoping not to need any. This is the place I will go to first to find my next laptop. I buy my reams of paper here too.
Its no longer the shining beacon of electronic mecca it used to be. Now it's only impressive for its size and what it used to be. Their ads are scaled down as well. Its a bit sad, but that's what you get when you get amazoned
Fry's Electronics has everything a geek would want, it is like a wonderland to anyone interested in computers or electronics.
They also have an army of completely incompetent employees. Inform yourself and don't bother to even ask them where things are located.
Will cater to all your electronics needs at the lowest price available
Very bad customer service. I loved to buy in this store but from now on I will never come back again. I went to buy a screen protector for my iPhone and the employee in that department told me in a very rude way that I don t have to open the boxes but in that store everything is opened so You need to check if the product is inside the package otherwise if you go home and the product is not inside they won t be able to replace it. And this employee named HAMZA KHAN . Was very rude and told me that if I need something I have to call him before took it from the shelf. I think that is ridiculous. I totally don t recommend this store I am very disappointed
