The customer service at this particular Fry's is rather poor. Most will waste your time, but eventually you'll get to the one that goes above and beyond and will help you find what you need.

There is plenty of parking at this Fry's

Definitely a great local place to go if you're looking for anything electronic related. Just make sure you know what you're looking for before you go. The sales staff are often times not very helpful or are constantly hovering over you to trying to make a commission.

I guess its a sign of the times. This is now an internet - Amazon era. I remember when Fry's was a Silicon Valley staple. Its really sad to see the store mostly empty and them going out of business.

When I was in the store I asked 3 people to assist me in finding an item that I had found on their website. I was told where the item was displayed but it wasn't where I was I told I finally had to ask the 2nd person again when she was walking through the store. She finally found the item. Terrible experience.

If you are young, nothing to see just move along. If you are old, you will cry longing for the days when the shelves were filled with curiosities. And of course hotdogs and soda for 25 cents. Or 6 packs of soda for a couple of bucks. Ghost town and empty shelves.

This is an impressively poorly run store. It has some of everything (going far beyond electronics), but has terrible selection of any particular product. Many of the shelves and racks are empty, and what's left on the shelves has often been opened and had a few parts taken out. I would only ever return here in case of some bizarre post-apocalyptic emergency scenario.

This location has seriously turned to crap. Employees are not properly trained, majority of them do not know what they are selling. This is an electronics store, frys electronics is NOT a DD'S discounts, no one wants to buy your cheap generic perfume. This company has seriously tanked over the past 10 years

Its an iconic shop. But inside its old and weathered. The roof was leaking and the signs were defective. As products go, the selection was strange. Beds and baking trays but also motherboards and TV's. It was also hard to find items even though they have giant signs.
If you in the area, go to a best buy instead.

Fry's has been here for as long as I can remember and have ALWAYS been the go to place for anything electronic... HUGE warehouse sized building with isles and isles with everything you can imagine from dishwashers and microwaves to Video games and laptops.

Buyers beware. I really dont know how this store stays in business. Many, many items are either very low in stock, or out of stock. A lot of empty shelves. They also work with a skeleton crew of employees. Chances are, you'll need to go to another store for selection and to get what you need.

Unfortunately, their shelves look half empty. Either they haven't paid their vendors? Or their credit line was revoked. Either way, they look like they are having a liquidation sale, because they are going out of business. I sure hope not, because I have always liked Fry's Electronics.

I've used FRy's in San Jose and in Campbell for computer repair. Usually you drop your computer off and they call you when it's ready. Typically a few days. I've been lucky to have a supervisor check it on the spot, so I would give them extra credit. The store itself is for tech types, where you can buy everything from memory chips to components. Floor customer service is minimal. The worst part is buying something which requires making Xerox copies of the purchases. Long lines move fast but customer service lacks smiles and is usually curt.

Hopefully you never have to deal with the customer service department at Fry's. So frustrating. I would refer anyone that is encouraged to buy warranty coverage to ask the service department if they really do cover everything that the sales person says. Fool me once.

Sad times, i used to love Fry's for their massive selection, but it's depressing to walk in stores now, empty shelves everywhere, zombie sales people walking around with no real purpose. A big lesson what happens if business does not reshape itself as market change.

This place is pretty much a last resort for me. I only go when I know exactly what I want because while the employees try to be helpful when I ask questions about products, more often than not they just read the package to me which isn't actually helpful at all. Random weird selection of knockoff (?) colognes and perfumes too.

The place has everything so it is hard not to shop here. But overall the place just makes me feel like there is a film all over me when I leave. Either by the somewhat shabby un-kempt appearance or the pushy sales people.

My most recent experience is what caused me to write a review. We were big TV shopping and knew Frys had an amazing selection. But either the TVs were not hooked up to any signal or turned off, or had a low broadcast quality hockey game on them. I couldn't tell if any TV was better than any other. We asked the sales guy if we could hook up a blue ray to them to see the quality and his response was "no. There is only one signal". Huh ? So we left.

We ended up getting a TV elsewhere where the sales person helped us tune each TV and even turned the chairs and TVs so we could watch and compare .

Sorry Frys. Going elsewhere now.

Item price marked was a bit higher than Amazon, but I like a physical store experience so I decided to buy it here. At the register they said it was mismarked and insisted it was an obviously unreasonable price. Didn't want my money.

Inventory is disappearing. Probably gone soon. Pretty clear why they're failing.

Used to be a place you could buy stuff at least.
