Never any good help let alone knowledge of their products.

You can rarely find any staff to get any sort of assistance. Needed to get something price matched in the Computer section and I couldn't find a single employee at the podium. I waited almost 15 minutes before I left the store.

It has got everything in electronics and lots of models to choose from.

Great selection, the staff could use a little customer service training.

I wanted to get the open box motherboard that I was going to buy tested, but the lady in the department that I was in said that I needed to provide my own CPU to test it and was generally rude throughout the discussion. Total bull, but undeterred I went somewhere else for awhile and then went back to the same part of the store and asked another rep and they said they could. So I just presume that original lady was just lazy.

When I got the motherboard tested, there were some bent pins and they fixed them at no cost and provided everything. They weren't the fastest people, but got it done. The motherboard is still going strong today.

I used to love Fry's, However it's seriously taken a turn for the worse. I used to be able to find all kinds of Network gear here, Not so much anymore. It's become basically a scaled down Bestbuy. I've had to find other places to get network stuff lately. Thank goodness for Central Computer!

Worst customer service. Guy's especially at TV section make you wait for no reason and extremely rude and inpatient to answer customer questions.

I love Frys as a chain but the customer service at this store is the worst I have experienced anywhere. Rude and run down staff with a manager no where to be found to assist the clerks. Open boxes on shelves with merchandise laying on the floor. Selection of certain items is poor and picked over.

This has to be the crappest one I have ever been to.. No help, shelves empty garbage all over on the floor, roof leaking onto things. Do yourself a favor and go the one in Fremont you won't be disappointed like I was.

A shell of what it once was in the early 2000. You can still get accessories, cables, etc at decent prices but most shelves are now sparsely filled and the checkout counters are still notoriously slow with hardly any cashiers.

Because of the pandemic, Fry's is like a ghost town.
On the bright side, you can find hand sanitizer and protective equipment which is conveniently featured.
I am assuming you can order items online for pick up at the store. There is a minimal amount of merchandise in the store.

Love to shop at Fry's. Know what you want before you go. Buy online and pickup is the way to go.

Frys is the #1 place to buy all electronics/computer stuff. They have 30 day return policy on many items (Apple Store - 14 days, Best Buy 15 days), and their sales are incredible. Check Friday's SJ Mercury section for best deals.

Cashier had problem with terminal. Other than that had a great time getting what I needed and checking out the inventory. Favorite Fry's to go to in the south bay area.

Hard to find things. They technically match internet prices, but everything is much more expensive by default, so you have to make requests and bring proof of the price etc. Not worth it

It's huuuuuuge. All your electronic needs are here. Cables, pc parts, home servers, you name it!

Ghost town these days. Store must be going out of business and unfortunately they are overpriced. I used to love this store growing up but times have past them bye.

Went in to buy a TV and the service was incredibly slow. Finally after picking the TV, the employee at the front register crudely told me to walk all the way to the other end of the warehouse to fix a paperwork "error" which he "couldn't help with." I asked if he could give the department a call first but would not even bother to respond to my request. A few moments later the salesman arrived and corrected this and I purchased the TV.

Then I requested assistance loading the TV by signing the receipt and was told by the store manager that he would help when we bring our car to the front. When we brought the car around he didn't show. Had to load it ourselves.

This is why brick and mortars are a crapshoot.

Not the friendliest staff, otherwise they have everything you need in electronics.

What a horrible place to shop. The sales people are rude and lie to you. The cashier was arguing with another employee and took his time ringing up my last purchase I will ever make there.

Sadly, this place has diminished in the last few years. From opening later to lower quality items.

Less by than the one on Campbell. Not as much of a themed decor like the other area stores. Still a huge store.

Maybe a bit old and dark but you will find what you are looking for.

First time at a Frys in my life, this place is huge! Much better than Microcenter and cheap too

frys always feels somewhat dated, but always has great customer service so i applaud them for that

nice location but sadly enough store seems to me that at this time. Very minimal traffic and they're not restocking most of the items for some reason.

Fry's is nearly dead. The shelves are 90% empty. Hate to see one of my favorite places go. Order online and save yourself a trip.

I can find all the electrical and electronic item at one place. The store is very spacious and clean.

Very large store, like they all are, as well as many products. Really no complaints.

The store is collapsing from a business standpoint. There's all these employees that stand around and do nothing. And it seems like there's always more employees than customers. They do have great prices but the store is becoming irrelevant in today's Amazon world.

The place was empty and only had 1 case for the Galaxy S9+...the latest flagship phone from Samsung. The staff were not very friendly on the floor. Seemed to be annoyed that I asked where the cases for the S9+ and when I asked if there was a method to the placement of the items, he said "Not really, you just have to look." I don't think he was joking and after a minute of looking around, I found out that he was dead serious. To top it all off, I bought the S9+ screen protector only to find out that someone had opened the box and put a S9 protector in the S9+ box. I used to frequent that particular store very often and it is a shell of what it used to be.

Amazing store for all electronics gadgets and parts. Huge store offering most of the brands available in the market. Also look out for the special offers and weekly deals. A must visit place for all the technology lovers.

There are not any wall outlets. Clearly this business is unfriendly to people who work on their laptops in the cafe.

It's probably going to go out of business soon. That's my impression after seeing the store.. I went there to buy a SSD, but apparently they don't sell that. But you know what they do sell? Perfume.

Decent selection of electronics and appliances. Prices reasonable. Go early or it gets crowded and lines long to pay. Friendly exit staff count your items and mark your receipt.

The first time I walked in here I couldnt believe my eyes, they have got everything you could possibly imagine for computer geeks and at reasonable prices.

It s just like any other Fry s store. Finding staff to help was harder than usual but once I found someone they were just as helpful as any Fry s staff.

This store is like Disney Electronics you find everything...everything you need at home anything you need to have fun video gaming beds mattresses even a flash drive even CDs

Always go here to shop for electronics items. If you one that loves to browse electronic product, this store would keep you engaged for a long time.

I had never been to a Fry's before, and was astounded at how huge the store is. They really do sell almost anything you can think of, and many things you can't think of.

Empty shelves, empty shop. Just some single items remaining in computer department.

As a techie, I love love love this store. As I walk through the front door I can practically sense the dollars getting sucked out of my wallet. Al humor aside, this place is like Disneyland for us techies with everything you could possibly need. If you know what you want and know what you are doing, it's easy to get in, find what you need and get back out again, not to mention so reassuring that you can always stop and pick up whatever you need for your project. Communicating with their sales staff can occasionally be challenging, but with a little patience, persistence and time, you can always walk out with what you came for.

Great to browse the product categories, see laptops, screens, motherboards, etc. Ok, so even though it's huge, the selection is not as big as Newegg or Amazon. Suggest Fry's 1) put QR codes by every product category and product, so I can read Fry's take on it and decide to buy now while it is in front of me, and 2) be known for curation by category, and be more likely to buy from Fry's even when not in the store because of their differentiated curation.

Has everything I needed. Even on Black Friday, they kept everything nice and organized.

Not too many photography gear but one of the best electronics shop in Bay area.

Out of stock on almost everything. Not much for high end PC choices.

Nice place for purchasing electronic items.... As well as some chocolates and gift items

First experience was horrible, but the last I gotta say was the best customer service I've had in all the Fry's I've been to. They actually smiled and thanked me. Unheard of in all my other visits to this store and the other Fry's near by.

Great deals, good selection and matches amazon prices

The thing about frys stores is that you don't go there because you like the store, it's because you need something fast or you don't have an online option or you need to try something you could not otherwise. It's extremely rare for the staff to be nice and they don't price match with all places. So do it at your own risk. I also have bought items that were "new" only to find that it was an open package item with missing stuff. Returning that was super awkward.
