The most pleasant experience I ever had purchasing a vehicle. From sales to finance management. Very professional but yet personal enough to feel completely at ease. Love your Dealership and will definitely recommend you to others

This makes the second time that we have dealt with Friendship and both times we have recieved excellent service. We will be back for our next purchase!

My parents had been looking for a dodge grand cara...

My parents had been looking for a dodge grand caravan for 6 months. I have a special needs sister, and there were certain things the van needed to cater to her specific needs. I drove past and seen one sitting out front. I called for my parents, because this was easily their 50th van to look at in that span of time, and easily the 10th that week. I sat up an appointment for a test drive with Brittany. She told my parents to ask for Joe. Joe was able to get my parents in that van that day. They had nothing but good things to say about him. Good job, Joe, my Dad's a hard person to please sometimes, lol. He even said that when I get money for a down payment, that he will come with me to help me get a car there (seriously, impressive work Joe). My parents haven't bought a car from a dealership since they got a 1995 Toyota Corolla. This is their 9th grand caravan, and they are really happy with it. It had all the options they needed and a price they could afford.

Service performed was tire rotation and balance. U...

Service performed was tire rotation and balance. Upon arriving home, discovered:

1. One tire valve cap missing
2. Two of tires were over 1 PSI off from the others
3. Torque incorrect on some of the lugs

These are all pretty easy things to check and get right. Tire balance seems fine but overall, shouldn't sacrifice safety and quality of the overall service.

I broke down on 81 near Bristol heading home to VA...

I broke down on 81 near Bristol heading home to VA and my Hyundai Sonata died. I had it towed to Friendship Hyundai. It was on a Sunday so I had friends to drive me home over 200 miles. I had to call on Monday. Brandon and Rodney was excellent. They fixed my car and it was a great experience. They did not mind that I called several times just to make sure I knew what the problem was. The jet me updated. I picked up my car this passed Saturday. I want to say Thank You for all they did. If I ever buy another car I would go back and purchase a car from them. Thanks Judy

I don t understand why these people send the people emails for updates with choices to select in order to respond them for our shopping car status. I received a email which I responded with a DONT SEND ME EMAILS ANYMORE. and what I RECIEVED is a bad actitude from Robert Davis ( product specialist) . Come on! Don t create those things if you guys are gonna act like that!

After noticing a strange noise when cold starting my Hyundai SantaFe 2013 I took it in for an assessment. I was told that it needed a new timing chain at 1300.00. I felt uneasy and took it for a second opinion. It was correctly diagnosed as a serpentine belt and tensioner and I paid 321.00.

My family has bought 2 cars from here and a had a great experience with both transactions. John Wood was my Salesperson and now I consider him a friend. There was absolutely no pressure or gimmicks during the whole process of buying a 2020 Hyundai Kona. I highly recommend you give John Wood a call or text for your next vehicle purchase. The entire staff including financing and management was very knowledgeable and willing to help. I will return to this dealership for my next purchase.

I'm back and forth with my review, on one hand, the salesmen are friendly and seem to know what they are talking about. On the other hand, it took 3 trips to the dealership to accomplish the same objective, which was to complete an adequate test drive, which included highway speeds, stop and go, and curves. As another review had mentioned, the salesmen rides with you "per company policy", however, I've bought multiple cars from Friendship in general, test drove that many more, and this has been the only location that seems to enforce that if it truly is a company policy. Where other lots I've been on under the Friendship name( Ford, Hyundai of Johnson City, Jeep, etc. ) have either asked or even encouraged an extended or overnight test drive, I had to sign a deal sheet before they would consider letting me keep the car overnight in Bristol, which included picking the car up at close, and returning at opening. I wasn't overly thrilled with the detail job of the vehicle either, had friends and family question whether it had even been cleaned when they got in it the day I bought it, with sticker rings and haze still on the windshield, dirty dash that needed to be wiped down, and oxidized headlights, unique to Bristol. Lack of full tank of gas at time of purchase was another downer, and seems to be unique to this dealership as well, which would have cost all of $20-$30. Service department seemed nice, and the finance manager was great, but all in all, had I been purchasing a new car and could have gotten it from a different dealership, or at least a different Friendship location, I would have.

My husband and I just purchased a Hyundai Santa FE SEL Plus from Friendship Hyundai of Bristol. While purchasing a vehicle is not always the most enjoyable experience, I must say that our experience surpassed our expectations. Chris Mullins and Waylon Davenport were excellent to work with throughout the process. We had many questions and they patiently answered all of them. They even suggested we take one of the vehicles we were considering to lunch to give us some time away from the dealership to think and explore our options before making a final decision. Overall a good experience. We've had a Hyundai for 12 years and that encouraged us to look at Hyundai. We love our new Santa Fe!

The salesman we had was really nice and worked hard at finding my daughter the car she wanted . I can't say enough about how helpful he was . The only problem I had was forcing me to buy the "First Place Finish" car protection for $798 .I would have liked the option of either having it or declining it. I was told that ALL vehicles sitting on the lot have this put on them, so you don't have a choice. You can buy the kit yourself online for about $40 . Just a sneaky way to get $798 more out of me.

I highly recommend Friendship Hyundai of Bristol. The sales staff goes above and beyond to make sure that you are happy when you leave. I know that I have found the place where all of my future car purchases will be made. I've never felt pressured or pushed when shopping for a car with the remarkable sales staff there. Regardless of what you're looking for they will do everything they can to help you find the right vehicle for you.

Steer clear of this dealership they will waste your time and they will lie to get you to come to their lot. I was told a truck was on their lot and got all the information on it before going to drive over a hr away to their facility I was 30 mins away from them when they notified me that they had sold the vehicle the following day. Do not waste your time or money with this place

My boyfriend and I went to purchase a vehicle today. At first we had a little bit of trouble getting them to honor the price we were given online, but we were able to talk to them and they worked it out to get us the price we could afford. We didn t end up with the exact car we went after, but we re still happy with what we ended up with. Everyone we spoke with today was very friendly, and even stayed 2 hours after closing to get it all wrapped up and taken care of. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone in the area looking to buy a Hyundai. Go see Matthew Mays! We love our new 2019 Elantra.

I took my 2019 Sonata in for its first service and to get mud flaps installed. The waiting area is comfortable with coffee and bottled water available. The service was completed in about an hour. Upon check out one of the managers went through every step of the inspection with me and explained the resultsm

This review is for the service department. WONDERFUL SERVICE!!!! We blew out a tire on a cross country trip and no one in the area could help us. Thank goodness for Friendship Hyundai service department!

They were friendly, professional and super quick! Not only did they have the tire, they checked over the car and helped us with a couple of other minor item that needed attention from the road trip. They were able to go above and beyond and still get us back on the road in no time. I have been to other Hyundai Service departments all over the country and this one is by far the best! Soooo grateful!

We happened upon Friendship Hyundai when we were vehicle shopping. We were amazed at how willing the staff were to work with us within our price range. I never felt manipulated or taken advantage of, which is a big deal when looking for a car and working with a dealership. Everyone was friendly and eager to help but not in an obnoxious way. Glad we drove by today, and drove away as new car owners.

Fourth Friendship purchase, 2015 Hyundai Veloster. Thought I had a better deal in another city. Friendship said they couldn t beat the other deal. When I examined the other dealers car it was obvious why it was priced below market value. Went back to Friendship and they gave me a great deal on this Veloster. Randy, Dustin and the crew are great to work with on a vehicle purchase.

I will NEVER buy a vehicle from them again! especially a used one. I had nothing but problems out of the vehicle I bought here from the time I drove it off the lot until I got rid of it less than a year later. Lost thousands of dollars!! In less than 3 weeks of owning it, the Engine light came on and while I was having it checked out at another dealerships service center (not owned by Friendship) I was told there was NO oil on the dipstick!!! Hundreds of dollars spent on repairs in less than 6 months of having it. Poor customer service.

I got tired of having to always service my vehicle and decided to trade it in. Chris was very helpful and found me the vehicle that best suits my needs on a payment plan that I could afford. I would definitely recommend stopping by Friendship before trying other places.

Service is outstanding at this location. The staff are some of the friendliest and caring people we have ever dealt with. They are professional and always explain in detail if they find anything wrong and are not pushy about it if you decide to hold off on it. Their waiting area is more than comfortable with large, plush, leather chairs; chilled bottled water, cookies and crackers provided. AWESOME job guys!

They took time and helped from start to finish. Used car manager Waylon and Scott in the financial are good to work with as well.

On 6-21-19, my father purchased a 2003 Cadillac Es...

On 6-21-19, my father purchased a 2003 Cadillac Escalade from this dealership. He paid $7,300 in cash for this beautiful vehicle. Process was easy and everything was great. Drove off with the temporary dealer tag and came home to NC to register the "new to us" vehicle. When he went to the NC DMV, he was informed that they could not process the Title as there was a problem with it. He was told to call the dealership as they are the ones who sold him the vehicle. He has called more than 25 times and has received no assistance from the dealership and has been told that it is not their problem. He was also told by the dealership that it's not their problem and both states DMV's claim that the title issue IS the dealership's issue as they should not have sold a vehicle with title issues. The vehicle has been sitting in our driveway since June of 2019 due to the fact that the state of NC cannot issue a registration because of a problem with the title. Interestingly enough, no one has told us what the issue with the title is. My father was told to contact the Better Business Bureau by both the TN & NC DMV's as dealerships should ensure a clean title before sale. I know that this review will receive the standard scripted response, "we are sorry for the inconvenience," blah, blah, blah, but this issue needs to be addressed now as it has been 9 months and the vehicle sits in our driveway. We are hoping to get this issue solved before we contact the BBB and other consumer protection agencies.

They provided me with excellent service from the day I walked in through the door. I was recommended the dealership by my grandfather and they lived up to the "friendship" in their name. When my vehicle had a surprising complication they took complete care it. Greg Csandy kept me up to date with repair, they provided me with an excellent vehicle to get to work, fixed the issue weeks before expected and brought my baby back running better than ever. I would highly recommend this dealership for all of these reasons and more.

We are from SC and drove up to purchase a car at the end of August. The salesman was very friendly but the dealership hits you with so many "hidden" fees. Luckily we caught them and saved an additional amount. We choose to have them take care of your taxes, title and tag, since we both work full time. Well I just received a letter in the mail nearly two months late saying that they will only be taking care of our taxes. I called the salesman and he was kind enough to give me the number for the tag department. I spoke with Elaine who was very rude and did not want to help until I pushed her for the answers. She at the beginning informed me that the salesman do not know the laws of SC and it was not correct that they would be covering my tag. When I told her that was not true, she said "Well typically we do get tags but because of covid we are not covering it". I wish that they had told us that at the time of the purchase or at least called us to let us know.

My family and I broke down on I81S in our 2011 Hyundai Sonata. The engine blew on our 2.0T. Well there service department and sales department were great. I would deal with that staff again but I would never,EVER buy another Hyundai again. The 2.0T is junk. We spent $25000 on a car we got $900 for.

Joe Cutler was great to deal with and made us feel appreciated as customers. Will damage your vehicle. After admitting to damageing they will tell you to take them to court to have replaced. Also while haveing routine service they will joy ride your vehicle and drive like they stole it. Will not receive another penny for us. Chad and zach from the parkway location are out for money and will lie to customers that place is awful hope they get exposed
