I'm being generous and giving this place three stars even though my two previous visits technically warranted only 2 stars at most. My complaint is the two gruff sales people that I was trying to with the with. Given what other Ford sales people at other establishments have been like, I have to believe my two visits were the exception, but the rule for this place. But I can't guarantee you won't get the same treatment I got..twice.

Unfortunately the dismal experience and empty promises I received from this Ford dealership have compelled me to write this review. The primary service adviser handling my recall was Michael Ferrer, friendly at first, but this is not enough. I ll simply stick to the facts:

My car (2008 Ford Escape Hybrid) kept stalling when going uphill or over 50m/h with the stop safely now indicator on, one of the primary symptoms for the hybrid pump malfunction.
- Scheduled first appointment on Oct-24th-2014 for recall 14S19 (hybrid pump replacement). After inspection I was told my car has the old pump and therefore it is eligible for the Recall. New pump was ordered and second appointment was scheduled for Nov-7th to do the actual pump replacement.
- When picking-up my car on that 2nd appointment, Mike wasn t there and I was told faulty code is not pointing to pump therefore the mechanic didn t change the pump. The problem I have must have been different and is not related to this recall.. If this was the case why not telling me during first inspection a week before and avoid wasting my time for a 2nd apt??
- Of course, I run into exact same stalling problem a few days after picking up the car. So I decided this time to have my car inspected by a small local mechanic shop & Ford specialist with great reviews.. They confirmed in less than 30 mins that my hybrid pump wasn t working and the faulty code was pointing to generic overheating, typical of that pump malfunction. They even wrote a note stating this problem should be addressed by the free recall available from any Ford dealership.
- Went back to Fremont Ford dealership and to Mike Ferrer who apologized for the bad handling of this recall and promise to fully perform the part replacement and pay back the money I spent at my local mechanic shop.
- Picked up car after 3rd appointing on Dec-9th with recall officially completed, and I was promised I would receive money back via check in mail within a week.
- Then again, Run into exact same stalling problem within less than 24h.. Went directly to my local Ford specialist shop to check what this dealership had done (or not done). They confirmed the dealer mechanic had installed the right new pump, but had forgotten to plug it in!!
- Went back to Ford dealership again and to Mike who apologized for their repeated mechanic s mistake.. again. And he promised I will received back the full money I spent with my local mechanic shop which exposed their incompetence.
- 2 months later after a few reminder phone calls/voicemail & a face to face visit with Mike.. always same excuse, refund check should be part of next billing cycle
- As of March 4th, no refund check has been received as promised, thus this nice little review!

Avoid this dealership if you can. This place is unprofessional. The mechanics assigned to my car are clearly incompetent, and their service advisors are not backed up by their management to correct mistakes and provide adequate customer service. I gave them every chance to compensate their repeated mistakes, but they just simply didn t care or didn t do anything about it.

Update on 3/20/15:
Bumping up this review to 2 stars after receiving a professional & candid call from David Martinez, the Service Director from the Service department, who wasn t told about this problem until he saw this review. David did a thorough job to understand the chain of events. Even calling my local Ford shop to understand what had actually happen, so the corrective information could be shared with the mechanic who performed my recall. I finally received the check for the diagnostic charges less than a week after that call. I would recommend that you ask to speak directly to David Martinez if you face any service difficulty at this dealership. This appears to be the safest way to get decent customer service if any mistake is made by the staff.

My 2002 Ford Explorer Sport had served me well for 16 years but it was time to trade her in for something newer and more reliable... I ended up with a 2017 Ford Escape Titanium... it has so many high-tech features that it may take me 10 years just to figure it all out I hope to get many miles and many good times on the road with it. I had a great experience with the Sales Rep Reza Sawes and the Finance Manager Yama Zamir. Thank you both!

Service took a little longer than I thought it would. Everyone has to eat lunch, so its understandable. My service package came up right away in the computer which was nice. They didnt wash my truck? I didn't ask for a wash, but usually it is just done with the amount of dust I had on it. Overall friendly staff, they answered all my questions.

My Fiance and I went to Ford to see if we could trade our f150 in for something with better gas and that was fun. We really didnt think we would be able to walk out with a 2014 Ford ST- But we did! Thanks to Shaun and Reza! They were very friendly and extremely helpful! Shaun was emailing me for a few days before we went in and he was not pushy at all - He was very friendly and made me and my fiance very comfortable. That dealership was very nice and everyone was happy and overall very nice and kind. My Fiance and I are very happy with our new car and the staff of fremont ford.

I had it for two days an it was already having problems leaking oil an making a crack noise when you turn to the right an to top it off their is a big winded noise inside the cabin. They toke almost two weeks to give it back to me an didnt even give me a rental. I had to keep calling for a update on the truck. When I finally got the truck back as soon as I am home the wind noise keeps going an the creaking when turning came back. So they didnt fix anything besides the oil leak in the truck in two weeks they had it. So now it's in their again let's see if they fix it this time. I hardly ever give negative review, but the whole experience at Fremont Ford yesterday was nothing short of being swindled.

So, we were looking to lease to buy Ford Fusion Energi SE. We called and explain our need and spoke to someone from the dealer. He took all details and then called us back and gave us this very great deal. All details of lease terms, car color etc were finalized in call itself. The next steps were to come to dealership, check the car, fill application and pay the initial amount. When we came to the dealership and asked for the person we spoke, we were told he has stepped out. Someone else helped us check the car etc. We waited for about an hour for the sales guy we had spoken too. They even announced his name on the microphone. Couple other sales guy and manager came by stating he will be back soon and promising us that the offer will be matched. They started doing the numbers and then showed us a per month lease amount which was $80 more that what was quoted on phone. Both me and my husband were shocked. The guy helping us secretly shared that the person we had spoken to, did not even work there. It was just a gimmick to get us through the door. When we showed our anger and frustration, they had this big guy who was rude and loud talk to us. It was almost like they wanted to scare us into signing the lease.
At that point both me and my husband just walked out and drove away.

Couldn't believe that something like this can happen in bay area. We had interacted with about 5 folks at dealership and all kept lying. It was like a fully planned act to swindle customers.

I was not completely satisfied with the service. The issue was never fixed even after car was left for almost a week. Requested to diagnose yellow light warning. Never fixed. Requested for tyre change. Wheels were not aligned and they didnt receive clear instructions. Requested for Tie rod change. They ordered wrong part and held the car few more days than actually planned. Paid more than $2500 but still the problems prevail.

After getting the run around and having trouble getting financed despite good credit and awesome income at other dealers, we made the trip to fremont ford and they were absolutely AMAZING. No run around, got the car we wanted, Platinum explorer, at the price we wanted and were in and out super quick which was a plus since we had our son with us! Will definitely be coming here for all of our future purchases and service. Jonny, Amin and Ben were super helpful and made the process super easy. To top it off on the way to school this morning, my son is asking to see "the guy in the white shirt" (Jonny) because he was "so cool".

I recently had a very good purchase experience on my used Mustang. Some of the best parts were the sales associate "Rob" new the vehicle and was current with any info to demo the car. I have been other places in the past and some sales people should be selling furniture vs. cars. Also, once I decided on making a deal it was a very smooth fast process and back on the road. I met "Ron" a manager who was professional and courteous. It is good to see that Fremont Ford has employees like this.

The whole team there made my experience quick and painless, which was important since this was my first time solo car shopping. I had a very pleasant experience at Fremont Ford. The sales staff was great to deal with and I didn't feel preasured at all. Omar and Sadik were very helpful, answered all of the many questions I asked. I originally was planning on purchasing 2 vehicles to help reduce our fuel expenses. With the end of the year rebates I ended up buying 3 vehicles without going over our budget. This is definitely my go to dealership. I know I will get the best price without the hassle of shopping around.

Can someone there please return my emails. I've been trying to cancel my warranty since December. I have been patiently waiting since then to see it reflected on my loan only to find out the paperwork wasn't even turned in. Additionally 2 days after having the car with 1600 miles and went to use the air conditioner and it didn't even work. I would like to get this fixed but was waiting for the warranty that I did not need to be cancelled first so I could default to the factory warranty. I didn't need to be sold a warranty on a car which already had one. I had to find out myself by calling Ford. literally went in the next day to cancel it filled out the forms which I still have a copy of. Why is it so hard to get ahold of anyone there.

I would give 0 stars if i could. I originally purchased my vehicle in early january. Went to use the ac two days after purchase and realize it was not working. Called in to make an appontment to get the ac looked at. Did some more research and contacted ford and found out I still had TONS of time left on my original manufcturer warranty. Contacted the dealership and even went in to sign papers cancelling the extended warranty they had tricked me into buying. On the advice of the creditor I held off on going in for the vehicle check up until my extended warranty I was sold was cancelled. Took them almost three months to cancel it after they "forgot" to turn in the paperwork. Finally was able to get confirmation that the warranty was cancelled and brought my car in to the dealership near where I am at now. They informed me my ac was not working because there was damage to a wiring harness due to rodent damage. Contacted freemont ford to see if they could help me with this new bill as ford warranty will not cover damage. Not only did they tell me it was not their problem I was also talked to very rudely. When I isaid I would write a review on yelp they told me to try and see what happens as they hung up on me. This dealership is the most unprofessional snake like buisinesss I have ever come across STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. The repair for the wiring was only about 300 dollars. If they will treat a customer like this over 300 dollars what would they do to you?

My daily total commute is 42 miles on Bay Area roads and I don't think I can survive the daily grind without my Ford Fusion and support provided by Fremont Ford at Newark. The fuel efficient hybrid Ford Fusion keeps my ride stress free and comfortable. My service advisors at Fremont Ford Peter Petnik and Robert Campbell do a really great job at keeping my car's systems fully serviced and in great condition. My life would be way more stressful without the Ford team.

The service team was outstanding and was able to repair my car in the time I needed and went out of their way to make sure it was all done right!

I took my F150 in for a recall service which had been scheduled for 3 weeks. The service department called an hour later and said they didn't have the recall parts in stock, so they had to keep the truck for an extra day. In this day and age, your computers can't tell you that the parts are not availble for a scheduled service? So why would I want to bring my Ford truck back for any regular service or maintenance?

SUPER friendly staff, managers... really helpful and terrific follow up. She got a great deal, they worked REALLY hard to get her the payment she needed and truly earned our business. I wish other dealers took care of people this way!!

Extremely POOR/RUDE customer Service at FORD Dealership in Fremont. The lady's name is LIZ. I have NEVER EVER spoken to a CUSTOMER SERVICE agent like her before. I understand we are in a state of a pandemic, with less staff, it may be overwhelming, but this does not JUSTIFY her rude attitude at all. I have bought a used Toyota Prius 2010. It costed me a little over $ 10k. The car looked nice at first but after four months the front pain started falling (this is what pisses me off the most). I had to replace all four tires and rear shocks.

I attempted to contact the sales person (Mr. ABELO).He never replies. I am so disappointed and dissatisfied with the over all services I got from here.

Excellent! After a month of searching and comparing trucks. I've decided to visit Fremont ford to take a look at their selections, for certified preowned f-150. Prior to my visit i had spoken on the phone with Pat who was their internet manager. I gave him details regarding my budgets and expected monthly payment. He quickly offered me a few option that intrests me. When i arrived he took me over and ran me through all the models in their inventory, in accordence to my pref. The whole experience was nothing short from excellent. I went in expecting to purchase a preowned ford F-150 xlt supercrew 4x4, i would have been satisfied at just that. But Pat and his team at Fremont Ford went out of their way and got me a deal on one with sport package! There was no haggling needed. I already knew the average pricing for that form of package would have well exceeded my budget. I ended up walking away with a great deal that exceeded my expectation! I really appreciate what their team did for me!

I bought my car here, and brought it back here to get fixed when the check engine light comes on. Took more than a month for them to fix it, but they gave me a rental so that's fine.

A week after I took my car back, the check engine light comes on again. So I contacted them to get it fixed again, they said they don't have a rental and told me to wait. That was 2 weeks ago, and still no update.

I'd appreciate a phone call or text to let me know the situation, even if they don't have a rental available, but I haven't heard back after contacting them. Overall, a bad experience.

There were a few minor problems when I looked at the car but as soon as I brought it up to my sales rep Rob Van Arsdale, he stepped into action and made sure the problems got fixed so that my car would be perfect when I get it. My experience there was great, they were willing to work with me and my parents to help us get a good price. I'm so excited to have my car and I'm grateful for the people that worked with me at Fremont Ford, they were wonderful.

Fremont Ford offered free pick up and drop off for Ford vehicles in the area. I was told the contactless service would end April 30th. Fremont Ford did a great job with this, making sure my car was covered when the service advisor came in contact with my car and were on-time with pick-up. They also called to update me on the work being done to my car.

I haven t had the best experience at Fremont Ford, but this experience was a lot better than the past visits. I hope they continue to keep up their quality of service based on this experience.
