Somebody give Billy a raise! He is my service advisor.
I was rather anxious about going over my lease end options however I believe his name is Reza and wow did he make me feel at ease. He and Yama made the process so much easier than what I expected. Definitely recommend them when you need assurance. I am now a happy owner of my 2016 Mustang!
Fantastic service. Julio my Service Advisor was just great. I ve been going to another dealer but was not satisfied with quality of experience lately. Fremont Ford is now my go to dealer for service. They even offer Uber rides within a 10 mile radius.
Had a wonderful experience purchasing my '13 F-150 Limited at Fremont Ford. I worked with Daniel Cervantes (my sales guy) and Rob Van Arsdale (manager?) who went the extra mile to find the color I wanted and get it to the store. I went with the Limited, a rare car in the F-150s and they still cut me a killer deal even though it was not readily available. They even introduced me to a Michael Ferrer, a service advisor who was incredibly friendly, almost cartoonish ha. Even though I'm closer to Livermore Ford I plan on coming back here for service.
I appreciate the straight forward talk of telling me exactly what to expect. I live very close to San Leandro Ford and this is my third Ford Edge. I have plenty of experience with going to the San Leandro Ford store and I always feel a sense of something just not right. Like the last time, I went in for maintenance service they pointed out a problem I should get fixed. They went on to tell me that my warranty may not cover it, they have to do a diagnosis and they may have my car for several days. Take my car into Fremont Ford for the next maintenance service. They only take an hour and a half, unlike all day at San Leandro. They tell me about the same problem as the last maintenance service, but this time they told me that my warranty covers it and I should do it before my extended warranty kicks in which I would have to pay a $100 deductible, and they will set me up with a rental car because they will have to keep my car for over a day. Communication was clear and no uncertainty as if they were trying to find a way that my warranty would not cover the service. I would rather drive extra to deal with Fremont Ford instead of going down the street to The San Leandro Ford Store.
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Aris, our sales person, despite being a new employee, was more than pleasant and surprisingly knowledgeable. The sales manager was friendly and aimed to please. Will buy from this dealership again, no question.
I negotiated a very good deal for a used Ford car after two month of researching all the dealers' sells and made a spreadsheet. I know it will be sold at any time because of the deal is really great. I tried to ask Fremont Ford to do a 170 point pre-purchase inspection, I know the mechanic person in service department does it for $$$, and I was able to talk to the mechanic person directly in another Ford dealer. Here in Fremont, I called from 12:20 to 2:16pm 6 times within two hours, every phone call transferred going to a voice message, not matter it was Sarah, or Courtney or Peter...Once time I was able to talk to Sarah but she says she will call me back because she was helping another customer at that time, but after 40 minutes waiting, she never called back. She is the person to make appointment of service, not sales person nor mechanic, I am not sure why picking a date to make an appointment will need more than 40 minutes? And their price is much higher than other Ford dealership in East Bay for the same service.
Do you have sales who can speak Chinese? My father would like to look for trucks.
Very helpful, very professional, agent, Robert did everything to help solve the problem with my Ford fusion
I recently purchased a Ford Focus ST from Fremont Ford. My experience was a pleasurable one. The Internet Sales Manager Mustafa Barakzai was the gentleman that assisted me with my purchase. He was very tentative to my request as I was very specific in what I wanted. Never once did I feel pressured to make a decision. I was given a fair deal on the trade in of my old car along with the purchase of the Focus ST. Mustafa was with me every step of the way throughout the process. He even stayed late while I was in finance department signing my paperwork even though he didn't have to. I have stayed in contact with Mustafa as well as other members of Fremont Ford's staff, and everyone has been very helpful and friendly.I would highly recommend visiting this dealership if you are in the market for a vehicle purchase. Be sure to ask for Mustafa. He will go out of his way to make sure you are happy and fully satisfied with your purchase. He will take care of you!
Great. All maintenance covered by extended warranty. Car drives like new.
Ok no problem, just dropped off ford ranger to have recall safety airbag replaced on passenger side.
My business has purchased several commercial vans from Dave Elkins and it couldn't be any easier. So I bought a Ford for myself. Beautiful new store and great people.
Everything is OK and Acceptable, just the CUSTOMER SERVICE Skills are extremely poor.
2 days from online quote, a little negotiation, to deal, quick response time, none of the chatter received from other dealers.
This was the best car-buying experience I've ever had.
Very very bad experience with this dealership
They cheated with us..in future i will never ever go to this dealership and my friends, relatives too be careful friends
Last week I bought a HONDA
We got in a fight with one of the Finance Managers because he promised certain things he couldn't actually do and realized that after a payment was made. He then claimed we were twisting his words and accused us of being unprepared to buy a car. The whole thing ended up being a stressful and frustrating process when there was actually no real problem.
The rest of the team was very comprehensive and helped us with this issue. Hope you don't have to deal with this specific guy.
Advise not nice, I did alignment on my cmax but after that car doesn't go straight line
I have always been received well by Fremont Ford staff.
I got my car, Ford Focus, to be diagnosed and fixed to no avail, however, I had to pay approximately $1500. Simply, I accepted that the repairing didn't work at all.
Very friendly people. Nice waiting area. Got me in and out. Very minimal wait for a service.
Reza told me he would take care of me and he did. I got the car I really wanted. Pleasant experience and very nice every time.
Dave Elkins took great care of me and my wife throughout the process and was very prompt in responding to all my emails. After dealing with a number of dealerships over the years, I was glad to see that someone really wanted my business and really delivered with setting up my new lease.
I would put Freemont Ford on the top of my list for bay area dealerships.
Reza is a great sales guy who help me a lots in the purchasing process , very good attitude and very detail and useful guides to us !
Very friendly, knowledgeable, service representative. Offered completion of a recall problem in addition to the regular scheduled service. Saved me making time to bring car back in. Offered ride both coming and going.
Car ready when promised.
Getting a car is no pressure to by a vehicle and the communication, they explain step by step, the process is excellent also, the attention is great.
This very professional and well-ran location made buying a car very easy. I purchased a used BMW 335i M package from them and it was in immaculate shape. From the moment I stepped on the lot, my family and I felt very welcomed. Each employee was helpful in one way or another. For this specific purchase, Eddy and Abbas were remarkably helpful and allowed my dream of owning a BMW to become a reality. If you re in the search for a vehicle, I hope you will check out this top-tier dealership.
Salesman David Valencia was very nice and got me the exact car I wanted with everything I was looking for. Very happy customer. Finance manger Yosef was also very nice and helped me in finalizing my deal. Thank you Fremont Ford!!
I don't have enough words to express my appreciation for the help I got from Ms. Esmeralda Talavera of Fremont Ford. She was a consummate professional and knows everything about the technology of the 2020 Ford Edge she helped acquire. I give her a major five stars.
Excellent service from Fremont Ford from purchase to service. I would recommend Fremont Ford to anyone looking to purchase their next Ford car or van to experience a stress free experience through the whole process. They are very willing to work with you on price, either matching price with something you've found somewhere else or even going lower as was my experience. I was not pushed into anything I did not want and came away feeling positive about my purchase and the people that worked with me from Mustafa in Sales, Sheri in Financing, Javier in Parts/Service to even Gail at Reception. Even though it is farther for me to go to Fremont Ford, I will continue to do so for my service needs because of the outstanding customer service.
We had a new Service Writer, Sean. He was the best! Sean was friendly, warm, and personable. I tend to be out of my element when it comes to cars and maintenance, but Sean was able to break it down and make it understandable. My car was dropped off by 8am for oil change and 75K check-up. I got the call that my car was ready right at 11am, so fast turnaround. Hope to deal with Sean in the future. Thanks Fremont Ford!
Mustafa helped me a lot during all the process for me fremont ford made it buying a car like piece of cake with huge discounts and rebates
I purchased my F150 at Fremont Ford after a long search from dealers in the area. David and Michael helped me find the exact truck I needed and very competitive financing. The reason I bought my truck at Fremont Ford versus the other Ford Dealers was simple. They didn't play games, they have a good understanding of the product they sell and they offered a great deal.
I'm putting 3 stars because everything was fine when I bought my ford explorer Clint the salesman was very kind to help us find what we wanted he deserves 5 stars.
But on Saturday I went to the oil change service Edwin helped me and was kind . But there was another older man and a woman both looked very angry.
(my daughter is 10 months so she can't stay quiet ) the gentleman does not tolerate the children. I went with my daughters and if they got up to walk or if they spoke the man looked at them very angry. I think he should be at home retired from work, because he does not know how to help the customer So if you plan to go to do service to your car, do not bring children or the man will get angry and you will have a bad day. They do not wash your car like nissan or toyota, they just did the service and they delivered me without washing my car
I made a Yelp account (which is SO inferior to Google reviews) just to sing this dealership's praises. We just bought our first ever car (a Ford C-MAX Hybrid) from Nick Wilson today, and were so thrilled with our experience. We genuinely had fun (except for finagling with insurance, which had nothing to do with the dealership!), and we're definitely keeping these guys and Nick in particular on speed dial for our next car purchase. Check them out! You won't be sorry!
We left Fremont Ford with an extremely bad taste in our mouths and, as it turned out, a "Certified Pre-Owned" Ford C-Max Hybrid with undisclosed problems. I would recommend buying a used car almost anywhere else.
The price negotiations were expectably annoying with tag-teaming salesman & manager, and "never" eventually becoming possible. We were ready for that. But we did not expect them to tell us outright untruths about warranty coverage (revealed only after we insisted on reading the fine print), and the thoroughly obnoxious behavior of the "finance manager" whose job was to sell us add-on warranty/service plans before letting us sign the sales contract. To set the tone, he kept calling my wife, who was sitting right next to me and part of the conversation, "The Missus".
He claimed the factory did not warrant Hybrid drive parts past 3 years (wrong, it's 8 yrs/100K miles) and launched into an incoherent harangue involving Costco where he would not directly say what he was offering but that if we just signed this paper which would charge our credit card $2500 we would save money. We kept asking if he was offering a Costco service plan (no), a Costco-branded plan (no), saying we have service done at Costco (no), or what exactly did any of this have to do with Costco ("I already told you twice!" he scolded). AFAICT it was a Ford prepaid service plan with no connection to Costco, but he was using the fact that we were Costco members to explain why he was offering a "discounted" price. We just had to grit our teeth until he finally had nothing else to do but let us sign the contract and go home, traumatized.
After we got home, we learned that the vaunted zillion-point inspection done by the "Certified Pre-Owned" prep did not notice the worn-out windshield wipers (they chatter horribly), a big bulge in the sidewall of one tire (which now we have to replace), or that the alarm goes off by itself 30 seconds after locking the car after every 2nd or 3rd drive (the Internet is full of similar reports by CMax owners). The alarm problem really does happen almost half the time, so they must have noticed it on the lot unless nobody did a test-drive before us (unlikely, as they had the car for 3 months). We hope our local dealer has a fix for the alarm, but the first appointment is 3 weeks away. Meanwhile we fear that our neighbors are starting to hate us for waking them up when we come home at night.
Update a few weeks later: Although we disliked the purchase experience, we are *extremely pleased* with the post-sale support provided by Shadi Razi (used car sales mgr) and Courtney in the service dept. They immediately and without question had a couple of problems fixed (bad tire and a broken glovebox latch). So I added a 2nd star.
My local dealer resolved two other problems Fremont Ford was unable to diagnose (alarm going off and disconnected glove box light). The alarm problem was fixed by a software update from Ford.
We are now extremely happy with the car!
The service was excellent! I had the best experience with Ali, Q, and Sheri. Ali helped get me the prefer plan that for my budget, Q was knowledgeable about the cars and their features and definitely found me everything I was looking for, and Sheri taught me everything I needed to know about taking good care of a leased car. Overall, I would recommend this place to any of my family members and I would shop here again. I love Fremont Ford!!!!
Absolutely marvelous! The employees went above and beyond to please the customer; very courteous, patient and professional. My Sales rep "Amah" was very knowledgeable about their inventory and specific models/specs. I suggest coming to Fremont Ford before going anywhere else; We drove all the way from Carmel By The Sea, Ca in order to purchase a new car here.
Never got a phone call when my vehicle was finished, which irked me.
A fantastic team operating this dealership highly recommended for any service work or needed Parts questions or new vehicle the people in customer service definitely superseded all expectations
Great no hassle experience. Very happy with my purchase. Thank you Fremont Ford.
Pathetic attempt at a professional dealship. I bought a F150 here about 5 months ago, and absolutely regret it. The truck is great, but this dealership and management is disrespectful and deceptive. Take your Ford purchase elsewhere.
I had a great experience with choosing what I want!!! The help of the staff was awesome!!! Came home with a Ford 350 super duty very happy thank you ford
Terrible customer service. After making an appointment you have to wait at least an hour before someone can take the check from you. Not coming back!
I am speaking for my own experience, Worst disappointing experience and absolute stress that Fremont Ford has put me through.
I leased a ford explorer from these guys. Jonny sales guys will do anything to sell you a car whether you like it or not. If you want white color he will tell you black and white are same. I asked him I want white color, black interior, 4x4 2019 explorer. As he doesn t have car available there so he gave me sticker for the car which I was looking for from other dealer by looking online. I came back home with that sticker in hand next day he send me picture of car saying he got the car which I wanted and I should come to sign documents. I went to showroom and he told me this is the car which I wanted. When I checked interior it was different but I got influenced by him to get the car. I got the car from him with only one key because driver took the other key with himself.
Wait thing is not finished yet.
After 2 days I went to the documents and noticed its FWD. Nobody told me about this when I was singing documents .
Now I am calling about this and they are not helping me. I talked to their GM he hangs up phone on saying it s my fault as I signed the paper also its fault that I need to ask salesman whether its 4*4 or not.
Also for replacement they are charging me extra money by stating that particular model is not available. I asked them can you tell me the breakdown for lease with additional money (which I am ready to pay, they are not telling me.GM is saying pay this extra money or keep older car.
Whole my fault is I trusted their wordings and I went there to buy car.
Before you buy from these guys, be aware that if you have any problems after the sales is done, you are in for a surprise.
I don't recommend dealing with Fremont ford.
The team at Fremont Ford allowed us to select our new car with patience and gave us all the information we needed to make a decision that was best for our family.
The Service Mgr was accommodating and performed everything I needed (including the airbag recall) in a single visit. My complaint is that my car was not washed. The last dealer I used performed this service and I m not sure if this dealership offers it. If not, they should.
That is a great job on my car in a very quick time. I love that they went above and beyond to make me happy.
Michael gives the customer service of any dealership I've ever been to.
Bought a used car that gave me three problems within 300 miles. Engine misfires, funny transmission rumbles, tpms sensors. I was kinda suspicious that they were hiding the problems, seeing as how they so conveniently showed up as soon as I bought it. I inquired about whether they changed any fluids before I bought it and I was reminded I bought it "as is". Gee, thanks a lot for the help guys. I think they don't do any kind of check-up on the car at all before selling it. Why pay a premium buying a used car from the dealership if they don't at least make sure what they're selling you isn't junk? Just made me sad honestly.
I just purchased a 2019 Ford Transit 250 here a very short time ago. Overall I'm happy with the vehicle. I wish I'd been informed of the upfitter switch option when I mentioned what I would be using the van for, but that was partly my fault for not being 100% positive about what it was I needed for my conversion at that point. However when I called service with a pretty standard question about the customer connection point location in absence of the upfitter switches. I was told that Ford doesn't release such information to it's consumers as a liability. I quote"FORD DOESN'T WANT JUST ANYONE TINKERING AROUND WITH THEIR ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS." Understandable to those not qualified to work on their own vehicle but as a California licensed Journeyman Electrician I think I'm qualified to work on upgrading my vehicle electrical system with Ford certified parts if I so choose. They called it a liability. I call it monopolizing the service on a vehicle I purchased. The guy was rude and condescending in his response to the first question I had of him after my purchase. A service department is just that, whether it's doing the actual work on a vehicle or assisting customers qualified to do their own work by simply answering standard questions about component location. If I had just called with a question about where my battery was I'm assuming it wouldn't have been a problem. My new vehicle will never go there for service, nor will I buy any parts through them for my conversion or regular vehicle maintenance.
Carl, Jonny, Mustafa, and the sales manager Abaus were great. They have stayed in contact and were not pushy. They recognized we were in education and took great care of us. We are even looking at a second vehicle from their team too. Thanks Team
From beginning to end Pat Marques the Internet Manager was a true pleasure to work with. He was quick to respond, honest, professional, and his customer service exceptional. Pat had great follow-up and made sure that we got the vehicle we purchased met our every need. The financial staff was also a pleasure to work with and appreciate their honesty and professionalism. Would definitely recommend this dealership in a heart beat. Also, I found that they have one of the better variety of inventory for Ford models in the entire Bay Area. Thank you for helping our car experience to be a great one!
Great sales service.Esmeralda offered great customer service and did everything she could to get us our F150 that we loved.
The service at Fremont Ford was fast and easy. I appreciated the cleanliest of the waiting room. Masks, sanitizer and wipes were furnished. I felt safe at this trying times.
Maintenance was done on our Truck , service here was awesome they made it super easy for us !! The rep was awesome !!
It would have been a good review if the lease turn in process wasn't the WORST I have EVER experienced. We not only had to schedule a pre inspection but when we drove all the way back to Fremont to turn in they told us we couldn't b/c they only had one finance manager and we had to do an in person odometer sign off and that manager was too busy. They were super polite but don't ever lease from them. Huuuuuggge pain to give the car back. Plus my cars battery died in the first year AND car was recalled b/c the steering wheel sometimes falls off......
As it is now, I am happy with this location. With help from Ian Katawazi, My family and I were able to purchase a used Jeep Patriot that we found on craigslist. Negotiating was less nerve racking and potentially annoying and more laid backed. He is definitely honest and up front with you; he is a people person. Thanks to Ian, everything went smoothly. I highly recommend his services here.
These days, when you have a positive experience, the right thing to do is give props to those responsible. Last week I brought my F-150 into Fremont Ford. I was greeted right away, introduced to a service adviser (Shawn I believe) and they had me in and out in less than 10 minutes. They were organized, professional, friendly and genuine. As well, the repair work that I had them do was done the same day. Amazing. Their follow up was great, Shawn called me twice to let me know that my vehicle was ready for pick-up. Honestly I went out of my way hoping that Fremont Ford would provide better service than what I received at the other dealership in my area. I'll tell you, Fremont Ford has their act together. I highly recommend Fremont Ford. Great job guys.
Mr. Johnston
Very quick. 70K oil change and inspection done in one hour, and attentive service by Courtney.
Fremont Ford does a first rate job on servicing my Escape. Thanks guys.
Caitlyn Quan was incredibly helpful and caring. She made us feel as if we were at home and only made the experience that much more enjoyable. She truly took care of us and made us feel very comfortable by completely taking care of any concerns we may have had. She is an amazing person to represent you company. Needless to say she provides excellent service and I definitely will be recommending her and Fremont Ford to all of my friends.
Employees were very polite and helpful with our questions.
Purchased two vehicles here, pleasant customer service and competitive pricing.
I like the "Jacob" here very much. He is kind, patient, and enthusiastic in service. I trust such a salesperson, he is very good
The vehicle service was excellent and everyone was nice. My car was serviced quickly and effectively.
That being said... since they asked for my email I have received not less than 6 spam messages in 2 weeks. Each comes from a different list serve so I have to keep opting out. I already gave my feedback and now they are still bothering me. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT give them your email. This is a 21st century review. Companies like this annoy me and therefore I cannot recommend helping them with the 'customer satisfaction information collection' even though they will ask you in person.
Wonderful experience! The whole team there was awesome. David Valencia was wonderful, and made this the best car buying experience. Thanks to the whole Ford team, glad to be part of the family there.
I came in to Ford on 1/17/14 to look for a car and we were helped out by Wahid, the sales representative. He was extremely helpful and knew a lot about their products. When my wife and I met the rest of the team, we were very impressed by their professionalism and cleanliness. The entire process was completely easy and fast. They offered us complimentary drinks and had popcorn and water available as well. Overall, we had such a great experience and left as a highly satisfied customer with a nice Ford Fusion that completely exceeded our expectations. Also, Damean, Rob, Karnail, and Shadi worked together in taking care of us as well. They are an awesome team and I highly recommend going to either one of them to help get you the car that you need as well. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Service Department - Recall Experience:
Took my car in for an appointment at 8am.
No notice of service being completed.
No response to text updates (cool service, if only they used it). This was around noonish.
No response to voicemails (checking in after no response to text updates). This was mid-afternoon.
I had to show up at the dealer 30min before they closed to hope that the work was done. It was, and apparently had been done most of the day, and I got a "my bad, sorry I thought I had texted you back."
I was fortunate to be busy with work at a local office with WiFi, and to have my evening cleared (just in case the car was in worse condition than I thought). Still, what if I relied on knowing my car's status - even if just to plan?
If customers are told that they can leave and will be notified when the work is completed, then I expect at least responses to my check-ins. Service Team missed the mark since I could have stayed on-site to pester and/or watch live to know when my service is completed. It annoys me to think that I have to do that when I'm told that I don't have to.
Thanks for getting the work done well, at least. I had low tire pressure with the engine light on. I appreciate the team's extra effort of correcting that at no cost when it wasn't part of the original scope of work.
Johnny and the entire team at Fremont Ford are great!! I would recommend Ford of Fremont to everyone!! They really take the time to take care of their customers and help them as much as they can!
I had a fantastic experience at Fremont Ford. This was my 3rd time leasing a Ford Edge so I knew how great the staff were! Most importantly, my salesperson, Mustafa, was fantastic! He was always honest and was extremely friendly with me and my mom, who was also there. He always took good care of us. His attitude was amazing and we felt comfortable throughout the entire process of leasing a new vehicle. Thanks to him, everything went smoothly! I decided to get my car the day after I singed my papers so Mustafa agreed to come the next day, on his day off, and make sure everything was 100% perfect for me. I couldn't ask for a better salesperson! I am very grateful!
I give David From fremont Ford five stars especially for the great service, he helped me with the process of buying my F150.
Very friendly and professional dealership! Rewa went out of his way to help me get out of a 29.9% 5 yr old loan. My poor 5 year old honda had less than 17000 miles on it, never drove it much. But at that rate I was having nightmares!
Dealership, Sales finance departments greatest, I will tell me friends and family about Fremont Ford!!!!! My new rate is less than 9%!
Love you Fremont Ford! !!
I am giving 5 stars to Mustafa Barakzai & the manager who help him. They are very friendly.
Thank you,
Felicisimo & Pilar
The staff was friendly and courteous. They took care of my immediate service needs. For the service performed, I thought the price was a little high, but the job got done.
First I have to say this is the best place in the Bay Area to take a car to service , Julio at Fremont Ford went beyond to please his costumers, Great service, I have been in different ford dealers and to me this is the BEST ! Thank you ones again Julio great service.
All good. My only issue was related to a backup camera thing and
as it turns out this would have had to been optioned before buying
the car. The factory installed unit is not available later. We didn't ask
at time of purchase and this was never a service problem.
I will go there again.
Thank you for your Positive service and the shuttle to home and back to pick up my truck after the service preformed and my experience was a good one with Fremont Ford.
Responsive and helpful service department (we originally came in for key fob replacement) led to us exploring and taking home a car thanks to a responsive and helpful sales department (Eddie and Kareem walked us and talked us through me and my wife's needs). Max in the finance department talked us through the important steps to locking in a car as well. A real great and chill staff makes you want to buy all the Ford's.
