Excelent! Not too expensive! Good place to have a coffee &pie

It was my first time there but omg they had a lot of great pastries to eat. The place was jammed packed.

The grandmothers cup cakes are bomb... The only thing I have got and will only get :)

Need training in Customer Service. Would not recommend. Also they do not do picture cakes well.

This place is a Sacramento institution, and with good reason. Everything they make is amazing, and I am thinking specifically about their cakes. My wife and I used Freeport Bakery for our wedding cake and I would never go anywhere else. We get cakes from here for just about every special occasion. It's not cheap, but it is oh-so-good.

Best bakery ever. They make the best cakes. Their cakes are moist and the fillings are very flavorful.

We called ahead of time, asked for vegan options available for walk in, was told there were many, many, options. Perhaps 20-30 items spoken of. So we drove way out of our way to get there (11/9/19, around 5:30pm), only to be told there was only one chocolate cupcake and maybe some pretzel thing (which wasn't even mentioned on the phone). Slices of cake, cupcakes, cake pops all said on phone, not actually there. Also the girl at the counter gave us more misinformation, saying vegan items weren't marked as such, but the chocolate cupcake was in fact marked as vegan. Left with nothing, and about an hour of wasted time+gas. Totally unprofessional and an utter disappointment. Will definitely not be returning.

Best part about this place is that you can order a couple slices of cake and they divide the price by the actual price they would have sold the cake for. In other words, they're not ripping you off if you buy a slice so taste away.

Delicious local owned bakery in the cute neighborhood of Land Park! I go here for all of my sweet tooth needs, and was even able to get some yummy chocolate vegan cupcakes for my bridesmaids (which were a big hit!). Booking my wedding cake appt soon!

I had ordered a cake here for my son 1st bday total of cost was over $400 while ago. The cake was pretty but the ppl that deliver it ruined some parts and when it came to cutting the cake it, every slice fell apart.. it was sooo embarrassing!! I should've made a complaint but Never will i go there again.

Very good cakes, cookies, and desserts. We always go here when we are looking to buy a birthday cake or if we feel like we want some good cake. Try their triple chocolate cookies if you love chocolate.

One of the best bakeries in town and in one of the best neighborhoods in town. It is a nice little shop atmosphere. The cakes are amazing, but our favorite thing to do is grab a pastry and a coffee and walk the tree lined streets.

ordered a cake and anyone who had a piece had the worst diarrhea after...the sickest we've ever been...stay away from this place...and every slice fell apart as it was sliced...for the price I paid I expected so much more...a box cake would've been better

I just love this place. The workers are all very nice. On Saturdays I treat myself to their delicious Italian coffee and quichelorraine.

Quick service. Taste all good. Low on triple chocolate cookies and out of almonds croissants (try to by before noon).

Freeport Bakery is a local treasure. We've been patrons for many years and probably over 100 desserts, including our wedding cake. Wonderful baked goods and great service.

I ve ordered two birthday cakes from them and they were amazing!!! I live 70 miles away but it is waaaaay worth it!!! The Champagne cake with whip cream and strawberries I ve never had better!!!

super delicious. the cake was heavy on my stomach but it lasted the two of us forever and though they didn't have the cake we initially went in there looking for available at that time (fruit tart) they were able to recommend something they had prepared which was very tasty. plus the parking is easy. you gotta try this place, man.

A tiny $2 cupcake was ok. The cinnamon roll I had was terrible. Hard all around the outer part. Seemed like it had been sitting out for hours or something. Would not go back.

I asked for a tuxedo cake and got solero or some name of a cake it had poppyseed I'm allergic to them. How does a poppyseed lemon chocolate cake go together I don't know but had to be rushed to the er due to that. I'll never go back.

I purchased 3 lemon bars, one slice of carrot cake, caramel chocolate cake, and lemon cake. The lemon bars were heavy, gelatin, and gummy. OH the lemon was missing. It should be full of lemon flavor, light, sweet and tart. What a disappointment. The carrot cake was the best. I will be returning the lemon bars tomorrow morning.

Poor customer service and the cakes lately has been so average. Doesn t taste good, not enough filling. Also I would avoid their online ordering it s a big mess. But overall the customer service at this place has really gone down.
